Great gym and even better staff. I especially can’t say enough great things about Ethan who works with the little ones. I enrolled my son and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I could’ve made for him and his life going forward. He’s just a completely different kid, and as I father I couldn’t be more elated.

Been going there for a few months now! If you stick with it, youll definitely learn and grow. I plan to go as much as I can! Coaches are awesome, skilled, and welcoming!

I havent trained in Brazilian jiu jitsu in 7 years. Never got my blue belt so I was very nervous about going back into it. I went to the early morning sessions with Ryan and I dont think I could have asked for a more understanding and patient instructor to help me get back on track. The game has changed a lot! Im back to a day one mindset but it is very motivating. The place is kept extremely clean and the atmosphere is great. Looking forward to learning more as the weeks go by. This is the place to go if youre wanting to get serious about learning a very practical skill at a good pace.

From the VERY first day my son started- all the kids have been such great team mates!!! This is a GREAT group of respectful, kind kids and they are learning it from the best leaders out there! We have been there for a year now.

The Academy of Pensacola is by far the best place to train. Not only are the instructors incredible due to their high level of knowledge they also instill a sense of community and have a really great family vibe. They’re always encouraging you’re dreams and are willing to help you and be in your corner whether you’re there for competition training or just the basics. 10 out of 10 recommend the academy to anyone looking for an excellent place to go and meet new people and train the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu

Love my Academy family. Ive trained with these guys and gals for years, and they are some of the best people Ive ever stepped on the mats with. Programs offered to suit all ages and interests. Programs are run professionally by skilled and experienced instructors. The atmosphere alone is worth the membership.

Hands down the best gym in the area! I’ve been training there for two years now, the instructors and other members are all great and very knowledgeable. I wouldn’t think about training anywhere else or taking my kids anywhere else to train.

The Academy is a topnotch place to train in the Pensacola area, with a very experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff, clean mats, and great training partners. The school offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, and MMA classes that are all inclusive for a very reasonable monthly fee, with no contracts, and classes are held at least six days a week. If you want to train in the most competitive and effective combat sports available, you simply can’t go wrong here. After 2.5 years at the Academy it has become my second home, and I consider the teachers, coaches, and my regular training partners to be extended brothers and sisters. The Academy is Albino Rhino approved! OSS!!!!!

Can’t say enough about this team. I came here as a military visitor for a few months because I met Rob (IT1) on the base. I’m very grateful I didn’t go the other place I was considering going to. Everything is here, BJJ, Judo, kick boxing, competition preparation, etc. Most other places in the area you’ll just get BJJ and a higher price. Here, you have really high level guys in all disciplines as your teachers. Rob just came off a fight with a guy who fought Khabib for example. John competes high level BJJ as well and fills with his students! In my opinion this is the best type of gym. There’s nothing missing here; from what I can most other gyms are always missing something but not this team. Most importantly, I learned way more than I ever thought I would here. It was like they were filling in the gaps. The facility is beautiful, clean and massive with great group of men and women who are just as welcoming as they are down to earth with great sense of humor. Pick this place and I guarantee you’ll be relieved you did!!

Wonderful, helpful, and friendly atmosphere. A great place to start your martial arts or MMA journey. Women on the mats and childrens classes. The coaches are experienced and eager to teach and help!

There are childrens classes and women are encouraged to be a integral part of the gym. If you are in Pensacola, you will want to check them out!
