I took my 8 year old grandson there just 15 minutes before they were due to close. Despite having to finish with another customer, Rich said he’d do my grandson’s haircut. He was very good interacting with my grandson and gave him a terrific haircut even though it caused him to have to stay a few minutes after closing time. I really appreciate the good experience and his kind personality ! Thanks Rich !!

My son and I stopped in for a haircut. We had 2 people in front of us but only had to wait about 20 min. My cut turned out just as good as I had expected and my son got his hair cut with no fuss. That was the easiest haircut for my son ever. The barber was quick and friendly and worked great with my 6 year old. Would definitely recommend.

Shop was good. Im real picky on a fade and they did a good job. I have been with my same barber for 8 years now . Got tired of trying to get in . I tried this barber . Got in and out and got a good looking fade. So all that said Im switching to this barber. And if its good enough for me to switch you should try this place

I regular here. $15 for haircut then tip. They do a great job and the atmosphere is good with sports pics, TV, couches, and pool table . All my cuts have been good. Only downfall for me is it feels like it takes long for haircut. Sometimes I feel like Im in the chair for 45 minutes for a fade. Could differ for everyone just putting it out there.

These guys are awesome. Been there about 5 times now. Had my haircut by four different guys and one girl. Solid cut everytime. Plus you can play pool while you wait if theyre busy. Quality barber without the frills or expense of some other places in the area. Highly recommend.

I walked in and was able to get a haircut. The staff was friendly. I had to go get cash from across the street, but I got a great haircut that does better than the base. Supporting a small business is better i feel anyways. I would recommend.

Excellent/friendly staff, and quality haircuts. However they have opened late or never opened at all on a couple of occasions when they have said they would be open as per their posted hours on the door and website. I would recommend them but do not plan on their punctuality.Update:Now up to 4 different occasions when they have not shown up for over 45 minutes from their posted hours of operation.

All but one barber here do great military haircuts. The waiting area is comfortable. Couches, pool table, darts, etc.However, they dont usually have many barbers working lately. Typically only two out of three that Ive seen around, but they also go down to just one which makes wait times pretty extreme.The price for a military haircut when paying cash is $15.

Got a haircut here a few weeks ago. I decided to try it out because of the good reviews. They lived up to their review score. Angelica cut my hair and did a fantastic job. I actually headed there today for another cut.

Given the current circumstances, they work well with you to get you in as soon as possible. I received a call when they were about ready for me to come in to get a haircut! They adhere to state social distancing standards and provide and great hair cut for the price!

I finally found someone that can do a skin fade and get it right the first time! This place is very laid back. Play pool or watch TV while you wait. I highly recommend them and will absolutely be back. Im glad I randomly walked in. They got right to me and was spot on. Perfect fade!

Need a great fade? Go see Angelica. Ive been happy every time Ive walked out the door, but especially the last time getting a high, skin fade. Shes friendly and greets all of her customers warmly.The place has a great atmosphere with games and a pool table to play with while you wait.For a flight student, you can study while you wait or catch gouge from other students, especially on weekends.

Edit: Ive since learned that my first visit was a bit of an anomaly. Every visit since has been met with 45+ minute waits(usually due to understaffed barbers). My latest visit was in the middle of the day and they were closed during hours they advertise as open. While the environment is very casual and the quality of cuts is still very good I will probably have to find a more reliable place.This place was cool. Very laid back and relaxing. Haircut was just the way I asked and I couldnt have asked for anything more. They have a pool table, video games and TV while you wait which is great.

Blue Angel barber shop is a fantastic place to get a nice haircut for a reasonable price. My search for a reliable barber shop in Pensacola ended at Blue Angel, and I only go there now. They have a very comfortable waiting room with fantastic barbers, and sometimes there is a small wait but its always worth it.

Love how you can stay entertained while waiting! From playing pool to the Wii, indoor basketball hoop game to board games, and a couple TVs as well! Easily accessed with ample parking.Sign-in sheet on table and customers taken in order. Employees are all very courteous and take their time, not trying to rush through everyone as quick as they can.We have found our favorite new barber shop.

I go there almost every week, everyone is friendly and professional. The barbers are great people and take pride in what they do. One of the best barber shops I’ve been too.

Why say “ close at 3:30 if the customer comes at 3 and you guys refuse the customer?” That is no customer service, that is why some business don’t survive, because that type attitude.If closes at 3:30, and the last customer comes at the door 3:29, he should be welcome to stay not turned away.I guess you are the owner and you don’t care.Not coming back, that is for sure.

Mediocre hair cut. $2.50 convenience fee if you use a card and they tell you after they cut your hair. Way to make others pay for your service buddy. Friendly people though. $14.50 without a wash isnt worth it. Not to mention the wait because of the gossip and chit chat...I wouldnt write home about it.

Such a nice place, you can play video games, billiards, dards, read, whatever you want in your time in the line, but its not a really long time, excellent service and they are going to do exactly what you want with your style.

Came here when I moved to Pensacola for a haircut. The staff is very friendly. While you wait there are plenty of games, tv and music spread around to keep you busy. In the couple times I have received hair cuts here it has been really good. Some inconsistenties between the barbers but nothing to punish over. Overall I am very happy.

Great place for a good low cost haircut. Im in the Navy and I go here every two weeks. Angelique does an especially good job.Usually busy on the weekends, but theres plenty do to in the shop to keep you occupied while you wait. Little to no wait during the week.

Ok so I mean it was nice and the people was nice but if you don’t know how to listen then don’t cut my damn hair . I asked for a 0 to a 1 fade and I said don’t trim the top just make it go shorter as it goes back . This lady cut all of my hair off I do not have a fade at all I have bald sides and back and my top is very short. Now I have to deal with the worst hair cut I’ve ever had and it cost me 18$ .

Really good hair cuts and prices, however the wait makes me not want to go back. There is usually only 1 barber and I spent 2 hours getting a hair cut. Please hire more barbers so I can continue to come back. Could be the best place in the area if the waits were not so long.

Ive been nearly every week to Blue Angel Barbershop since I moved here in January 2018, with the exception of several weeks at the beginning where I experimented with a couple different places. Blue Angel has consistently given good cuts at a great price. Rich and Angelika are both great to talk to and remember repeat customers very well. They provide, hands down, the best customer service Ive ever seen in a barbershop. If youre military (or civilian) and live near the back gate of NAS Pensacola, this is the best option for you.

This is a great family barber Ive been going there since they opened and recently some stuff happened where our family hit hard times and he gave 4 of my boys free hair cuts they played with all his stuff they have to keep them busy had a great time my 3 year old got his 1st haircut and they made them all feel vary comfortable and gave them great cuts well worth the money and time spent I would day switch barbers and try out blue angel barber !!! You wont regret it

This is my fourth time here. Still very happy with the quality of the hair cut here. Not pleased with the $3 price increase this past time. But on the other hand I am able to get by longer between cuts because of they do such a great haircut for me . So long term Im still saving money vs getting bad cuts elsewhere.

I have been going here since Nov 2017, twice a month, and Rich & Angelica are both awesome. Great service, atmosphere, and you definitely get a great cut. Every haircut I have gotten has literally been exactly what I asked for. I just moved to Milton and will still come here to get haircuts. I recommend this barbershop to anyone, military or not.The more you come here, the better it is since they will easily pick up on what you normally want. Wait time isnt any different than other places and it is actually a few bucks less here, no reason to go anywhere else. Its a great feeling to walk out of a barbershop with a haircut that you like, and youll get that here every time.

Prepare to wait, then wait some more...Had my hair cut here 4 times by three different people. They all did a good job but had almost, or more than an hour wait each time. Waited over an hour this time only to be told she was going to do the three people after me first?? Even though they signed in 15-20 minutes after me. I lost about 3 times what the hair cut cost in work I missed. Had to leave without a cut to make a lunch appointment. O.K. hair cut but not at all respectful of their customers time.

Some barbers in here do not know how to do fades so if you are new make sure you ask around who can. I showed up with several pictures on how angelica (another barber there) used to do my fade. This dude on the far right messed me up so bad. Definitely not a spot to really trust. Its a hit or miss kind of situation for the money you pay.

Im not very big on letting just anyone cut my hair due to some unpleasant experiences in the past. But I have to say I was pretty impressed with this place. I walked in and was greeted with smiling face and informed of how long of a wait I had. Usually you just sign your name and wait, but not here. I was welcomed to make myself at home and basically handed the remote lol. Between the games and pool table they have, it didnt take long before it was my turn in the chair. I explained to the barber what I was looking for with my fade and was pleased with the results. Which rarely happens! Ill definitely be back and recommend the Blue Angel Barber Shop to anyone looking for a good barber... 😉

First time I went was with Angelica. She was very cool, listened to what I was looking for and executed very well. Second time was with the owner I believe. Asked for a low fade and “just a light trim, clean up the top a bit.” In retrospect I guess I should’ve elaborated on what I meant. But in 5 years and many barbers nobody has interpreted the way he did. I guess he thought I meant a 3 on top... then tried to explain to me that he likes using clippers on the top rather than shears because it gives a more “natural look.” I can tell you right now and for at least the next two weeks it doesn’t. Might be the worst haircut I’ve gotten in a very long time. As denoted by other reviews, the wait is ridiculous. Atmosphere is nice with plenty of ways to entertain yourself while you wait. Will not be coming back.

Ive gotten my haircut three times here by three different barbers and each time they have done a fantastic job. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but I dont mind knowing that they are taking their time and not rushing through the cut.

This Barber shop is un-like any of the others cuts are very good my 3 boys and i will always go there. He has free games to entertain your kids while waiting for a cut. They offer military cuts along with every day cuts. We recommend them highly.
