Great place! Ive had my beard trimmed here several times now and been more than happy with the results each time. Farouk is fast, friendly and professional. Even when hes busy, you rarely have to wait long at all and he makes you feel like hes been waiting to see you even if it was your first time. Farouk is an awesome guy! And very good with kids. Plus hes the cheapest in town! However That does come at a disadvantage Because sometimes you get what you pay for. Hes known for being the fastest barber. While that may be so its not the best idea when you have guys like me with *african hair texture*. He lacks attention to detail. My lines are always crooked, he goes against the grain of my wave patterns and gives patchy taper fades. I would not recommend him to anyone ethnic hair. However hes an expert with fine hair texture. Probably best if you are a Military guy.

He cut my hair in like 10 minutes and dry shaved a block cut. I like him but will probably not return. 18.00 a cut and tip just know he can do better.

This place is great. If you need a quality haircut quick. This is the place to go ! They will also trim and line beards. It does get packed. He has a lot of repeat customers. But even with that I was still out in under 30 minutes.

A clean barber and very respectful however very expensive and he was more concern to finish quickly than satisfying his customer, my request was simple I could of done it at home and I expected him to be professional and expert on what he offers instead when I asked him to fix my cut he ignored me and called the next customer. As a result, I went home and did it myself.Rule of thumb, if you run a business your customer is always right and you have to offer at least what he expected from you.In his case, he was focusing on finishing the maximum number of customers than satisfying them.

Fast and reliable. Even with 2-3 customers ahead of me, I find myself getting in and out in well under half an hour. But more importantly, the cuts have been consistent and tight each time. A true professional! From the moment I stepped in the door until I left it was a positive experience. You can tell the man has a passion for cutting hair. I told him to cut the side and leave the top and he politely asked to let him cut the top because it was uneven. It was obvious that he cared that I received a great hair cut. The other reviews are correct. He knows how to fade and cut military hair. If that isnt enough to convince you, he also has some great stories and you will wish that your haircut took longer. Wow now one of my top two places to get a fresh haircut. Being a Marine I loved his work he did. Honestly I got a medium razor fade not only did he do a spectacular job but the cream he used was warm. Amazing fade by far, not many people could do a razor fade and was highly impressed. I live in texas but here for a job and will definitely come back if I get the chance.

Were just in Pcola for the week, traveling from NC. I was way overdue for a haircut so I asked a friend for a good barber shop not too far from where were staying. He immediately said Farouks. 6/03/18 - Really great experience, excellent haircut. Was initially a little concerned/impressed with how fast he finished the cut, but after a look in the mirror I couldn’t have been happier (no missed patches or lines and exactly what I asked for). It’s cash only and $17 for a cut.

His description of what his skill set is and how fast and good his is at his job is unquestionable. Thats why hes always busy and works days other barber shops are closed. If you havent had the chance to get your hair cut or beard shaved by a master you wont be disappointed.

Terrible hair cut. Asked for a 1/2” trim on top. The barber gave me a 2 inch trim and my mid fade sucks. Got a line going all the way around my head. Definitely do not recommend. Plus the prices are too high

I showed up a few minutes after closing and he unlocked the door and gave me a haircut, cant say any other place would do that. I got a med-low because Im in the military and he knows military haircuts so he got to it right away. The haircut was done in 10 minutes and my wife says its probably my best haircut yet. He also fixed what the previous barber did to my hair. I live in Milton so this place is far, and I plan to make the drive anyway.

I want to comment on this barber shop. Like Omar, I do not live in Pensacola. Actually I live in Dallas Tx area. I received a hair cut from here one year ago and I am going back a year later when I come in town this upcoming Sunday, Oct 11. The haircut was awesome.I decided to get a trim a month ago so I could get a hair cut from him again. I recommend it highly. Actually, last year was the first time I was there and they would not take a card for payment. He told me where an ATM was and I left without paying--trusting young man--and returned and paid for my haircut.

Farouk is a hair master. Nobody has time to sit around for an hour-long haircut - youll be in and out of his shop in less time than that when the line is out the door! Not to mention, less than half the price ($17 for as long as I can remember) and perfect cut every time.

Does a rushed job, and lacks attention to detail. Uses a razor for touch-ups, which results in awkward ingrown hairs. Prefers to buzz your head and not bother with scissors.

It was okay. Cuts hair too fast. Charges 15-17 but basically 20 after the tip is expected. By no means worst experience but not the best either.

First time customer, never coming back. Told him to do a one on the sides and shape up and take a little off the top. He takes the sides up super high, past the crown of my head and the natural part, completely cuts out the swirl in the back of my head, and shaved off my widows peak, all without saying a word or asking me. Left the top full length with a super abrupt transition from 1/2 long hair to 2. Also he straight razor shaved the back of my neck and the rest of the edges completely dry, no shaving cream. My neck was on fire. Had to go to a different shop the next day to get it fixed, but I have some regrowing to do before it looks anything like a normal haircut.

Not only is Farouk a talented and precise barber he is also a great person. Unfortunately another barber butchered my hard part during a cut. I went to Farouk and in 5 min he gave me a clean and great looking hair cut fixing what I thought was unfixable. He even offered to clean the line up further after a week at no charge. I have been going to Farouks for over 2 years. I first found him solely because he was the only shop open on a sunday. I asked for the buzz cut I would usually get at any other barber and Farouk said let us try something different. He made my hair look better than it ever has before. The rest was history and I ALWAYS get compliments in public from strangers on how good my hair and beard looks. It even changed one of my old bosses perceptions on the professionalism of beards and now he too goes to farouk to get his beard egded up! I dont trust anyone else in town!!

If youre a black man, this is not the place for you. Well, unless youre just shaving everything off. Probably a good place for military men, which I have seen raving in the comments. My husband spent $20 getting his haircut and came back and just wanted to shave it all off. He has textured/curly hair and keeps it in a short mohawk/faux hawk that fades as it goes back and has the sides shaved. It was about an inch and a half long on top when he went in. The man didnt have a pick in his barbershop, which is weird. The man also didnt fade his hair in the back, like he always has done. It was the same length all the way back, which he just didnt want.

Ive been going to Farouk for a little over a year now, I think...he is a no nonsense barber. Hell get you in and out of there with a shave and a haircut in 15 minutes if there isnt already a wait. The skill that this man has would take most barbers 30+ minutes to even come close to matching! Other barbers in the area have cut my hair, all take longer, most dont know how to use a straight razor or offer a good beard line up, some are even old and racist...I dont have time for any of that.Farouk is very respectful; someone most people could learn a thing or two from if they would open their ears instead of their mouths. He talks when he has something to say and isnt trying to get a shop full of military men through so know when to let him do his thing. Be respectful and hell show you even more respect in return.Also, make sure you tip this man, hes worth every cent.
