I appreciate the standard Eagle holds themselves to. I received updates every step of the way about my car and the progress. When issues came up they took ownership of it and dealt with it right away. One of the best autoshop experiences Ive had.

I found Eagle Transmission about 5 to 7 years ago through word of mouth. I typically work on my own vehicles. When I was in a time crunch & unable to do the work myself I took a chance on them. I was very happy with their work and the price. No up-sells, no additional add-ons, just what needed to be done. Ive gone back to them a couple times a year & had family members be happy with Eagles work as well. As long as they keep up the service Ill continue to recommend them & take my vehicles to them.

I was very satisfied with the service from Eagle Automotive and Transmission. I made an on-line appointment to drop off my vehicle for a brake issue. When applying the pedal, it would occasionally sink close to the floorboard. I dropped of the car the next day and Michael greeted me promptly and listened to my concerns. He was able to duplicate the problem and diagnosed a fix and gave me an estimate of the cost. Once identified, they repaired the brakes in a timely manner and offered me the replaced parts and explained the warranty for the repairs. The final cost matched the estimate provided. A couple of weeks later, I received a follow up call from Michael to make sure the repairs were made to my satisfaction and that everything was working properly.All in all it was a good experience. It is hard to find good mechanical service these days but I was very pleased with this business. I will use them again.

After a complete transmission rebuild, I had to take my auto back. It was having the same warning lights, going into limp mode and additional new problems as before, he became very upset and said that he disagreed with me. Basically calling me a liar. I am very unhappy. My Suburban is still messed up and broke down again this past Sunday.

I took my 1966 Mustang to Eagle Automotive & Transmission with a leaking C4 transmission. Eagle diagnosed the problem and proceeded to correct it. Also discovered additional problems and corrected those. I was quoted a fair price and kept advised of the progress. I highly recommend Eagle A&T. I once again have a happy Pony Car.Glen S.

We had our nissan versa that was overheating dropped off at their shop. We immediately received I call from Mike (owner) as soon as they received our car and took our information. Explained our situation and he said that they would got back to us at the end of the day. We did receive their diagnosis at the end of the day and they explained what fix they are recommending. I appreciated how responsive they were and even though the price was higher than I anticipated we went ahead with their recommendation. They made an effort to try to get it fix at the earliest time. Explained to me what was done when I picked up the car and followed up after a week and after a month after the repair. I would highly recommend them. It is so hard to find an honest shop.

I was happy with the service. They kept the parts that were worn and showed them to me when I arrived. Work was completed quickly. Price was reasonable.

I took my vehicle over there to get the transmission flushed and have them check a couple of other things. They were spot on with the other issues and gave me the choice to get them fixed which I like. I will definitely go back to them in the future because I feel confident in their work and their ability to diagnose the problems.

Mike with Eagle is great to work with. He doesn’t try to sell unneeded services and based upon my experience so far I totally trust them. They have replaced CV joints in my Acura and have replaced a water pump on my wife’s Lexus. They stand behind their work which is hard to find these days.

I am so thrilled that Michael answered my call. I was referred by someone up in Houston. I needed a transmission shop with INTEGRITY. I asked, and I received! I thought my transmission was gone in my 15 year old car. I left my car there for two days for them to do a full diagnostic, only to find that I needed a clutch and a slave cylinder. I asked them to change those two items and the master cylinder as well. I fully expected a bill that would have been About $600 to $800 higher.. my car is my life and that is all I had. When it was returned to me, it drives like a brand new vehicle! The service was second to none, and I would recommend the shop to anyone who is in need of honest, thorough, and high-quality service! They are 52 miles from my house, but I really don’t care! They will be doing the service on my vehicle from now on!!!

I went to Eagle automotive because my jeep was not running properly. I was concerned about who to go to but decided to trust a local automotive company so I went to Eagle auto. The staff was extremely friendly and they diagnosed my problem in a timely manner. The problem with the jeep was easily identified and I haven’t had a problem with it since.

My transmission went out in July when I was called into work. I missed making that extra money, but when I called Eagle they were more than willing to help. They even arranged a wrecker to come get my truck from across town and take it to their shop. They replaced my transmission within the week and when I took it back for the service last month, they found that the front passenger hub was worn and one of my engine mounts was broken. The other one was stressed and would break sometime soon. It cost more money but they got everything done within hours of me dropping off my truck. Top notch guys and top notch service. Definitely will continue using them for any issues that I may have.

Michael was great. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone worked hard to diagnose our problem. However, due to Mercedes keeping their computer software proprietary, Eagle was not able to repair our car. This was disheartening, but they didnt charge us. Not one penny even though they had invested their valuable time. I would recommend Eagle Automotive for you vehicle service and repair needs.

My vehicle had service done at this location. They are friendly, professional and kind. I do have 3 unresolved automotive issues they could not easily fix, despite spending $700-$800 in the repairs, which has frustrated me. They explain why the problems still occur; one issue they cannot diagnose. I want to use this business and support them, but these last couple experiences have left me frustrated.

They gave me honest quote on transmission job and were very knowledgeable and customer friendly. Even when I called back by accident because I was trying to call another shop for another quote. Eagle transmission was like hey u just called us. I apologized and he was like no problem. We r ready to fix your transmission whenever you bring it to us. Was all he said. No trash talked or anything negative. Onto my service. They let me know max amount it would be if i had to get a full transmission rebuild. I figured it would be full rebuild due to gears slipping and another issue. They got my expedition in there fast and was able to diagnose issue super fast. Before they did rebuild they told me about some cheaper options I could take. They did not pressure me to go for most expensive option which was full rebuild. I got the full rebuild with heavy duty parts and 3yr warranty on it. My expedition runs and shifts way better than before and feels like it has lil extra power. I would definitely recommend this place. They did great work and stand behind their work.

I have used Eagle twice now and I cannot say enough about the service, communication and repair quality. They operate the way old school mechanics used too...they are repairmen not salesmen. I am driving an older car now and I anticipated many systems would need repair or replacement. When I talked to Robert about my priorities he understood and promised to fix what was urgent to get me back on the road safely and reliably. Instead of hitting me with a huge estimate, he told me exactly what we needed to do and then reevaluate. No one thinks they need a mechanic anymore...until they do. You can take your car back to the dealership after the warranty and they will try to sell you a new one. Take it to Eagle....and these guys will fix it. Have had my truck serviced there several times for varying reasons. They’re always fast, professional, and the work completed is always quality work at a fair price. They will always get my business.

My experience at Eagle Transmission was awesome. They explained what the problem was, the best path forward with options that I may want to choose while they rebuilt my transmission. Mike was very thorough in explaining to me why my car had a power fluid leak and how to fix it. The technicians even tried to salvage the old tubing to save me some money but I ended up having to replace it. I appreciated their efforts and honesty upfront. They also found a smaller leak that they are monitoring and didnt pressure me to fix it because it was minor for now. I also appreciated this because I wanted to prioritize the work on my car. It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back!

DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! First and last time taking a vehicle to a mechanic shop. All they did is lie lie lie and overcharge. Paid them to do a engine swap on my truck and when they failed to complete the Job in a MONTH, I took it home & I did more work in 7 hours than they did in 4 WEEKS. They also tried to charge me 3 hours of labor ($375) to remove a broken bolt that I got out in 10 min!! If I could leave half a star I would!!!

I have been coming to Eagle Transmission for 5 years, and dont trust anyone else with my vehicles. They are very honest about my repairs, and upfront about any cost. They try their best to work around my busy schedule and understand going without a vehicle is not an easy task. They are very quick to get me back on the road with repairs that last and a price that wont break me. I could not ask for a better service!

Robert was great. I had a bad alternator. They allowed me to come to the shop in another vehicle and borrow a jump battery to get the vehicle with issues to the shop. They then offered me a ride home. They were quick to get parts and install everything back to good running shape. They even housed my vehicle an extra night inside due to an impending hail storm. When I picked up the vehicle everything was running great and the vehicle was extremely clean due to their recent partnership with a local car wash down the street.

I visited Eagle Transmission and had a great experience. Brandon was very knowledgeable and helpful in dealing with my warranty company. They quickly identified that my online warranty company had sent a wrong transmission for my H3. My transmission was promptly installed after the right one was sent to Eagle. I will recommend and definitely use them again.

THIS DESERVES ZERO STARS!!Went in to get a “free oil change” which was given to me because they didn’t discount my over $1k repair. After driving the car around and checking the sensor 3 times I noticed that it stayed on the low end. Contacted Eagle Automotive the next day (3-14-20) about the issue of my car not having the proper amount of oil in it and they said I can bring it on down. I did as I was told only to find out NO MECHANICS were there to fix the issue even tho their shop OPENS at 7AM.I was also lied to right when I walked it “they put 8 quarts in your car” when my car can only take 6 quarts. I had work so there was no way to leave my car there and wait till “8:30” when a mechanic shows up to the shop. I felt very annoyed and disappointed at the fact a typical routine oil change wasn’t done properly and because they have no staff, besides the front desk, there to operate the shop at the beginning of operating hours.CHANGE YOUR OPENING HOURS. Further more I got a call from them about 45mins later (I had already bought oil and added it to my car myself) “MR. ACOSTA your car would not run without having any oil it has oil!!” and they were trying persuade me to go back when I have made it clear I have work. Angrily the guy proceeds to ask me about MY JOB AND WHEN I GO IN!!! UNCALLED FOR and NO WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER! Whoever called me hung the phone up mad that I said I was disappointed and angry with the shop because they didn’t do the job right the first time. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with them. DON’T GO TO EAGLE AUTOMOTIVE. They can’t even do a routine oil change correctly.I have a guy in Alvin that’s certified, trust worthy, and over all 100% better. [Third Coast Bimmers], look them up they get the job done EVERY TIME.

Stopped by eagle when I noticed my 2012 Silverados transmission was shuddering. Very common in these trucks I had no idea until then. I was recommended a rebuild on my transmission and at first I thought the price was a little high but after driving it for a couple months its been amazing! I pull a car trailer every now and then and I explained that to the service writer they took that in mind and made my transmission into a much more capable, trouble free transmission then what most shops would do for me. Very Very happy with it and it was maybe a couple hundred bucks more then a different shop but well worth it! No changes in price, I didnt have to wait any longer then told as well.

STEER CLEAR. If good customer service and ‘making wrongs right’ is your thing, then stay away from this shop. The communication between Brandon (Shop Manager) was great up until dropping my vehicle off. I was told my vehicle would be done in a day. It was with Eagle Auto for 3 days. Part of this was due to Brandon and his team identifying an issue I needed to fix and so I had them complete it which I fully understand needing more time for but he told me it would for sure still be done in a day and that definitely wasn’t the case - on two separate occasions his guys were on the final task but were leaving soon and couldn’t finish it until the morning. How is that even possible? I watched it be done on YouTube in two hours but his people need 16 hrs? Had I gotten a phone call telling me this that would have be one thing, but for me to have to call several times a day to find out what’s going on isn’t good business. When they “fixed” everything, I made it 7 miles down the road before things started falling apart, to which I was told I had to foot the bill. Brandon initially told me it was likely that something wasn’t fastened tight enough (aka it was their fault), but then quickly changed his mind and told me it could have been the wind (aerodynamics wouldn’t have allowed this unless the piece was fastened out of order and the wrong part was on top of the other), and then again changed his mind to tell me I hit something and I must not have seen it. He called the dealer and found out the part was a couple hundred bucks and told me he’d look around to see if he could find it cheaper. Never heard from him again. So I reach out after a week and a half asking for some information and finally get a brief email that doesn’t answer my question. Eventually we get to a point where he tells me after 15 years these parts go bad (sounds like a coincidence with the age of the car), that he gets many calls each week that splash guards are malfunctioning because people are driving recklessly, or that the plastic pieces were just worn out. What’s odd is that up until taking my car here I’ve never had an issue. The only issue seems to be that I let them work on my vehicle. I even offered to bring the car to the shop to let Brandon or his technicians walk me through the process of how they replace transmission fluid to which Brandon declined. The shop could pay for the $50 piece but are choosing not too which is sad. So I’ll lag for it, but I’ll never be back. Hopefully this saves someone some trouble. It’s not worth saving $50 compared to someone down the road that’ll do things right the first time when you’re without a car for 3 days and now have to buy something that wasn’t broken when you dropped it off. This is the first time I’ve ever had to complain about a shops’ work so I’ve tried to address as many details as possible since the owners can respond and try to tell prospective customers differently.

This is one of the best shops I’ve ever worked with. The communication, knowledge, fast work and reasonable prices will assure my repeat business. I prefer to do my own work and am very hesitant to hand over my keys to anyone, but I’ll gladly let these guys do the work thats above my pay grade.

I have used Eagle Transmission & Auto Repair exclusively for almost five years. They are without a doubt the best car repair shop I have ever used. Each time my car is in the shop the manager Chris calls and explains exactly whats wrong and what is needed to address the problem. Eagles prices are more competitive than other shops Ive encountered in the area, and I have never felt like Chris is trying to sell me something that I dont need. Chris and Eagle are fantastic, and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Spent over 4 grand fixing my car. Turns out they were fixing the wrong thing. They didnt have correct computer to diagnose. Had my car for a month. Brought it back 2 different times. Ended up selling it and losing lots of money. Didnt refund any money. Nice people, just incompetent. NEVER bring your car here!!!!

Chris quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem with our vehicle. He explained his method of diagnosis clearly and in simple terms. He is an honest man and very knowledgeable about his work. I highly recommend their shop.

I came in for a front end alignment and the mechanics noticed water spots dripping from underneath my car. Turned out my water pump was in need of repair. Eagle Transmission keeps a history of my car on their computer. With this history they were Able to prove how old my water pump was. It was still under warranty and was replaced !! That’s the kind of care and service people dream about. Great service, Great prices and Great Guys!! Thank you for everything......,..again!!!

I got my transfer case rebuilt on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. It’s been about 8 months now and it’s still running great. It also came with a warranty. Also they diagnosed an engine problem that even the Dodge dealership couldn’t find. Thanks y’all.

The work I had done was done right and the price was reasonable. It did take longer than it should have due to miscommunication and the lack of a night drop box, but it all worked out in the end. I am, as a whole, neutral about the experience. It met expectations but didnt exceed them.
