Good morning, I will rate this Agency no stars. My wife dropped her vehicle off for an oil change and to Inspect her brakes because they sounded weird. When they called back Auto Max stated that we needed brakes and rotors front and back, which we already new. They also told us we needed Hub barrings replaced.. The Dodge dealership didnt say we needed hub barrings but I figured okay. The hub barrrings were covered under my warranty we bought with the car and I told Phil it was. Phil called and checked with the warranty departement confirmed he did. When he called me back he stated they told him it was a Power Train Warranty, the Hub Barrings wouldnt be covered. I said that is a mistake I know they are let me call. He said do you want me to proceed with the work. I stated yes with brakes and rotors let me call the warranty to confirm the Hub barrings but, by the time I got that info it was late in the evening and I had to wait until the next day. I called the Warranty department the next day, they told me from the Notes they took, what was stated to Mr. Phil. He was told I had the Platinum Warranty and Hub Barrings are replaced under the warranty, but we do not replace under third party mechanics it has to be done by Dodge, Jeep or Chrysler. So after his immediate none confirmation with me he went ahead and did the job any way. Now I have to hope my warranty departement will do a one time emergency relief for the hub barrings. Im not going to say all, but Phill is a smooth munipulator and liar his responsibility to explain to me what the warranty departemnt stated as a Man shouldve been brought to my attention. He lied to me and stated I had a Power Train warranty when in fact he new the truth from the beggining. When I confronted he did not deny what I said or make a fuss because he new he was caught. After all that I got home I looked at the reciept and my wife oil wasnt even changed nor did they change out the sticker. He is after your money not your customer care. He is decieptful. I fill sorry for him that he has to be that way. In All that, I am a retired Veteran and we talk about Integrity and Honor He has none of that. So my Veteran and Civil Community please be aware of Auto Max on 2234 Shadow Creek Area.

If I could give this place negative zero stars and build a billboard warning others never to do business here I would. We went in for a basic inspection sticker and were told three engine mounts needed to be replaced. When my husband took it in for the repairs, they changed the story to needing four mounts. After questioning them about the difference in quote they blamed the mechanic and conceded to fixing what they quoted. When we picked up the car it vibrated like the mounts weren’t installed at all. When asked what happened they said multiple issues occurred during the repairs and proceeded to try and give new quotes. Our car was perfectly fine before bringing it in and now it is not drivable. They are total scammers. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Quick fast service to get my auto inspected. Gave me coupons for my next visit and everyone was really friendly.

Would not recommend for break jobs. I had an issue with my breaks, so they replaced rear and front pads and resurfaced the rotor. Within months, the same issues returned. When I took it back in, they wanted me to purchase better pads and now replace a rotor. They offered to give me free labor but I’d need to pay for all the new parts. No thanks.

I have taken my vehicles there quite a bit. Now they can be a bit expensive but they do good work and they are willing to work with you based on your financial situation.For example, during the infancy of Covid-19 I had an unexpected issue with my vehicle and the owner Max was nice enough to provide me with a discount on the bill which I was very appreciative of. I highly recommend AutoMax and good luck!

Auto Max is fantastic. Im relatively new to the area and I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The mechanics there found some issues with my battery and also I had an oil pan leak. I opted for all the repairs to be done and Im glad I did.Every single employee that I dealt with at Auto Max from the mechanic to the guys who gave me a ride to and from the shop when my vehicle was done were excellent. A real nice group of individuals who care about their customers and deliver superior service. This is the type of place that remembers you by name and greets you instantly when you walk into the lobby.The waiting room was cozy, prices were fair, and customer service was top notch. This is what every auto shop should strive to be like.Thanks again Auto Max.

This is my second at this shop and its always been a pleasant experience. Arthur provided excellent service . The only downside was the cost of the oil change. $91 for a full synthetic oil change! Now i understand its the most expensive but come on, give me a little break out here

Experienced some car issues on my home and was able to pull into this shop before they closed. Phil was very helpful in putting me at ease. He called me next day with necessary repairs and explanation for all . I really appreciate the professionalism, value and punctuality of getting my vehicle repaired and back to me for work.. i have no doubt in the quality and will definitely come back for future issues. Auto Max Automotive team of mechanics brought my truck back to life. He did not sell me anything i didnt need. His team rebuilt my engine fixed my steering issues and the truck has more power and than it did before. Awesome.

I went to this company to get my wife’s car inspected. What a great group of people! I was welcomed with a friendly smile, was helped to quickly get the inspection done, and left absolutely happy. I just stopped here for an oil change and this is the most delightful business. I plan to go here for everything I can moving forward. Everyone I spoke with was helpful and knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything and helping me understand processes. They offered help they didn’t need to and were super quick as well. I had my state inspection done here. Said it would be about an hour. It took less time than that. All of the gentleman, including technician who serviced vehicle, were all nice and humorous! Good natured people.

I always come to Auto Max Automotive for inspection of my three SUVs because of the proximity to my home. I always have a pleasant experience with their service until today. The service technician (Roderick) told me that I have to do certain service maintenance (amounting to approximately $900). I knew that this is not true because I just had my SUV serviced at the dealership a month ago. He stop when I politely told him to stick to the inspection service. Could have been a Five Star.

I went in for an inspection and was out the door in less than 15 minutes. Very efficient. I will definitely use their services again.

This shop is amazing! After being quoted $1500+ for some repairs Auto Max was able to do the job for $1100. I am glad I chose to come here! Any other repairs that I may need I know Im coming back to Auto Max.

Do not go to Auto MaxAbout my Nissan Sentra the only problem is the Key the to program to vehicle it almost 3 days but they cannot fix it WTH i have work near their Company in Pizza Hut i dont know when they can finish to fix my car !!!!! I’m upset. I have been bringing my cars here for a few years, like at least 10. Yesterday I got an oil change. $94. When I protested it was changed to $81. I’ve never paid a price like that for any car I’ve owned. The last time I was there it was $59. I said that, he told me that I didn’t according to the system. Well, if you increase the price, it “changes” the value in the system to prove your deceptive practice price. Very discouraged at this point. You’ve lost a dedicated customer being greedy. It also took over an hour and I was the only person there. Go figure that.

Auto Max personnel’s consistent honesty about the repairs needed for my vehicle is why I keep going back. The last time I took my vehicle there, they correctly advised me against the dealer’s suggested recommendations that would have cost me over 2500.....at no charge.They are worth giving an opportunity to do the same for you.

This was my first time here and I absolutely love it here!!!! I felt really welcomed and the atmosphere was really friendly. I have had oil changes, state inspections, routine maintenance and had my engine cleaned from build up and they have done an excellent job every time. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional. I just had my car in for an inspection and they let me know my engine air filter was dirty. Nice to know they check items to help keep my car in top shape.

I was lied to about parts that I had to buy triple the amount of before I researched it, and parts that didnt have anything to do with the actual problem just so they can make money. Be very careful if its too late and you are already in service with them. The absolute worst by far!

I had been a loyal customer of the auto max repair shop for over 8 YRS. I need to have my motor checked out the manager at the front desk said he would have to take my motor apart to tell what was wrong with it. I came back 2 days later they had done nothing to my carBut he made a work order for me that I needed a Rebuilt motor. I got my car and left.

First, it took almost àn hour to get the service completed with only one customer ahead of me. My car sat for at least 20mins before they started.Second, what happened to yes sir, no sir. Why do these people call you dude and guy.Guess they been in business for so long, they throw away becoming professional.Third, the oil change cost $69.95. Guess what? Its actually $82.90 after service is complete.I wish I could give a Zero rating. Never going back. I wish I went to take5 as usual, just taking a quick break from work

The garage was quick but then the owner tried to charge me hidden fees. $5 labor fee for replacing windshield wiper blades? $25 labor fee for replacing my cabin air filters? No thank you. I will not be back there

This place is amazing! The manager (Freddy) takes the time to go over every little detail of what is going on with the car and always makes sure I get the best price possible. He even came in on his day off so that he could make sure that I wasn’t paying a cent over what was necessary.The shop itself was very diverse and not even remotely racist like some reviews have claimed. They work their hardest to make sure your dollar goes as far as possible. They have earned a customer for life!

I went there yesterday for an inspection, great looking shop, polite people, and fast service.

Nice and reasonble service. They dont charge you for diagnostic test like some shops do. They give reasonable estimate & solution. Its your decision to go for the service or not. They dont try to force or manipulate you for the service. Only thing they need to improve is that whenever i go with a problem they are busy. I had to return several times.

I cant say enough about how great these guys are! I have had several services done with them and they always have such great customer service. A special thanks to Mr. Arthur who ALWAYS goes the extra mile to make my experience a great one. He always greets me with a smile and is always enthusiastic about helping me. I recently moved to Texas and the staff helped walk me through the process as it is very different than in NY. The inspection was fast and staff very friendly to my kid and me. Clean facility and waiting room Highly recommend.

So I was obviously a little mad. I have clammed down to adjust the rating to 2 stars. We have had work done here multiple times. We have had oil changes and inspections done multiple times. The people are nice. Max was sorry about what happened with my car this weekend. There have been annoying things where we have had to take the car back to get something fixed or adjusted after repairs. This time the cover under the car was dragging on the ground. They said they didnt take the cover off, but it didnt just happen to fall off while at their shop for 2 days. Anyhow, they did get it put back on. They havent charged me extra for fixing these little things. I still think we are going to try a new place around here. There isnt anything special and there always seems to be something that conveniently doesnt work out well there.ZERO STARS! I have used this place multiple times. We have not had problems. Today I drop my car off to get a state inspection. I confirm with the guy my phone number and told him to call me when it was ready. I received a call at 4:30 that said they were locking my car in the shop till monday because they were closed at 4pm. I am so ticked off. THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO SAY IT WAS READY FOR PICK UP. I have to be at work at 5 am on MONDAY MORNING. I cant say how pissed off I am and I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use this place again.

Theyve been very professional, call me with an estimate before starting up any additional work they think might be necessary, and are very affordable. Ive recommended them to a couple friends, and theyve been happy, too.

Outside of their excellent mechanic skills, these guys are dedicated and trust worthy.
