Because I have quick accesshonesty and reliability on their part. Cant complain, always nice no matter how busy.
Based on years of using many different post offices, this is one of the best. Easy to get to. Big parking lot. A mailbox drop you can drive by without getting out. Spacious interior so even with a long line it doesnt block the other services. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Typically a good selection of regular first-class stamps.
Brian helped me out this morning and was very helpful despite me asking silly questions. When I finally came in Natalie was a SUPER STAR and very patient with my questions and guiding me when I was doing the forms wrong. There was a line going out the door and i was kot expecting such nice service. Pleasently surprised!!
Busy but great service!
Grossly incompetent, rude and uncaring. I watched this woman Ruth be extremely rude to every customer in front of me. Then lucky me, it was my turn. She told me to take out the item I was ready to ship, put it in a USPS box and use their tape to tape it, because she claimed it would be cheaper. 10 minutes later and after waiting in line again, it’s the same exact price! This woman needs extensive training, especially in the customer service domain. People like her are the reason why USPS is doing so badly.
I paid $15 for them to take my passport photo for me so that I didn’t have to worry about it. Well I just got an email from the US Passport Agency saying that my photo doesn’t meet the requirements because the photo is too bright and you can’t clearly see my features well enough. The employees should know how to take an acceptable passport photo. I paid the extra money for the convenience; and now I have to go out of my way to print my own photo and send it to the passport agency myself by mail. Very frustrating.
Efficient. The staff there know their job well!
Shout out to the peabody post office! You guys got a 2 day delivery package to California from Massachusetts during Christmas! Amazing! My moms package arrived on Christmas Eve right on time. Nice work.
They’re always helpful. The lines are only long when they are helping people who didn’t know how to ship something or how much shipping costs. For the area, this USPS and Salem’s USPS have been my favorite ones to use. I ship all the time. Thank you to all of the employees who work so hard. I will say I’ve been to 2 other smaller facilities in area towns that employees weren’t at their posts and one was rude, but never at this USPS. I drive a few towns over to get the quality service here.
For a Peabody government office, they’re actually great in there. Usually it’s a pretty quick wait, and whenever it’s long, they usually have 3 people working the desk, rather than one person dealing with everyone. I went in today, and the clerk helped me deliver two packages, although the address was unclear for one, so he tried to troubleshoot it, and ended up advising I double check the address to make sure I had it right. Good stuff.
Good staff they are so nice
Efficiency and manners go a long way.Commander
Disgustingly rude, unpleasant, unprofessional and have no respect for peoples time. Waited 40 minutes to be seen and was rudely told I couldnt be helped. When I was trying to figure out my options and see if there was anyway I could be helped because my car was broken into and I was going away in about a month, one of the ladies told me its not her problem or her fault. I understand there are policies in place that need to be followed, I have no problem with that. But be polite and professional about it dont make people feel worst about their current situations!
Do not come here if youre black. You have been warned. I was in the line and this lady decided to tend to the white gentlemen behind me. He said I was first and she said dont worry about it. This lady didnt even acknowledged the fact that I was there waiting. Then everyone is looking at me like Im a deer with headlights. Definitely not coming back. I almost felt the need to tell them I wasnt going to steal anything. Smh
Believe it was the manager[plain clothes, No uniform, No name tag, blonde hair middle aged woman ]She was completely rude, impatient, and only wanted to serve customers she chose . She served the customer before me, told me she couldnt help me, then helped the customer after me ! Borderline discrimination and all I needed was a stamp. She couldnt help me for 2 seconds but proceeded to have a 5min conversation with the customer she decided she wanted to help . The terrible customer service here that is actually quite frequent at this location, is the reason more and more people use UPS and FEDEX and just buy books of stamps from a 3rd party. We choose USPS for convenient and courteous service, but if were not getting that, whats the point of returning ? Like Ive heard from many Danvers and Peabody residents, Im glad to say I will not be returning to location.
Needed to apply for a passport for my 1 year old. Called in the morning to confirm hours passport hours 10-2pm. Arrived at 1:45pm with my two kids and just needed to submit the application and pay. We were immediately told they werent taking any more applications for the day. Seriously? Even after explaining that we confirmed hours in the morning and that it was hard to make time for both husband and I to be present because of his work schedule, they refused to accept the application. And please note on the website it says passport acceptance hours 10-2:30pm. Super super frustrating.
Awful service, I’m disgusted
Just a simple waste of god damn time! 10 minutes of a recording talking to me just to be told i have To wait 40 mins and all i had Was simple question about when carriers return to the post office because i missed A package! Smh terrible! Get it together!
I placed letter in mailbox in front of the post office around 7am on March 1 2018. The letter never reached its destination, this is the second times it happen to me.
If you’re in the mood to get verbally abused, this is your place
Nice service, but really slow.
I was going on vacation and my package was not going to make it in time, so I called the USPS office in Peabody and the guy hand delivered my package for me. Great service, couldnt believe they took the time to do that!
Their mailman- The one with tattoos everywhere? Extremely RUDE. Hed put other peoples mail who previously lived here in the box. I would write return to sender, and put it back into outgoing. I made a point to place a paper inside my box with the acceptable last names on it, and a tiny note on a post it asking him to not place any other names in our box. Does it anyway and if I stick the mail thats not ours in outgoing- He puts it right back in our mail slot! I called the post office to talk to a supervisor about it and he said he would take care of the issue. Nothing has resolved.
Their window hours are open longer than other local post offices. Window staff is very professional and efficient.
Staffs are all helpful, and they take time to explain things to me on every occasion I have to visit ...I prefer to go there
The manager is awfully rude and unprofessional, saturdays passport hours are supposed to be 10:am to 2:30pm and they were giving me a really hard time even though I got there way before the time. They should just update the hours if they are not willing to take passport applications after 1:00pm because it is not fair for customers to wait in line for more than an hour so that they tell you that they cant take your application.
My girlfriend set up a passport photo appointment, went in and the lady was very rude. We paid the money and got the photo taken only for it to be denied by the passport agency.
The best usps ever. They have a great customer service.
