This was one of the most professional and hospitable companies I have ever worked with. My car broke down 2 hours from home. They came quick and drove me 130 miles home. Mike was the best company. Myself and the wife live in Delaware and were on our way to Gettysburg in our 1970 VW Beetle. About 8 miles outside of Gettysburg it went kerplunk. Tried for over an hour to get it running and decided enough. Called our insurance company and they dispatched Jon from Abes. He called and said he would be about an hour. I asked if there would be anyway possible to get it taken back to our house along with us. He called his supervisor, Steve, and he allowed him to. FANTASTIC. Jon showed up within the hour tried to help me get it going but nope. He loaded the bug onto the rollback away we went. He was very professional and friendly. Many THANKS to Abes and especially Jon. Would have been better to complete our nice Saturday ride but it turned out well. Turned out the coil was bad.THANKS AGAIN STEVE and JON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a result of the 9/1/21 damage from Hurricane Ida, 2 trees fell on my house and my car resulting in extensive damage. My car was undrivable so my insurance company arranged for Abes Auto Service & Towing, Inc.to come to pick up my vehicle. The driver, Tom, came as scheduled and reassured me that all would be fine. He was very upbeat and kind. Within minutes he had efficiently loaded my vehicle onto the truck and we were off. He was empathetic and understanding about my situation, and before I knew it, we had arrived at the collision shop. When you have gone through a frightening experience, you need someone who you feel confident in...Tom was definitely that! He made everything much more enjoyable, and I really had a lot of fun during the drive in to town. I can, from the bottom of my heart recommend Tom! Shop was very considerate, and I was in a rush. They were able to have a master tech run a TBI diagnosis and relearn when everyone else in town was booked two weeks out. They were even a reference from a Firestone technician. Great shop/Fair price.

Within the hour of my call, Tom showed up and immediately assessed how to hook up & load my disabled SUV onto the flatbed rig. His skill at how to maneuver a downed vehicle was amazing, and all the while he explained how and why he did it. Cant say enough good things about Abes - theyre legit awesome. We were on a road trip from New York to Mississippi and had the incredible misfortune of breaking down in Pennsylvania 6 hours from home and in an unfamiliar area. Abes responded to our road side assistances call for a tow and despite the fact that it was 3:00a their driver, Steve, was nothing short of accommodating, kind and compassionate.The next day Abes worked on our car - which was an absolute mess I might add (it came out of gear, wouldnt start, etc) - and got us back on the road by the early afternoon, which was pretty phenomenal given that they didnt even get our car until 4:00a the night before. They even sent a driver to pick us up from our hotel, a friendly young man whose name I cant remember.And, important to note, the car is doing great and shifts and drives better than it has in years!! So, while I wish we never had to go through this ordeal, Im glad Abes was who helped us through it.

My wife and I were attending a car show at the Carlisle Expo. My alternator went out. We got towed off the turn pike but we were 3.5 hours away from home. The initial tow company couldnt do a long distance tow. It was 10pm and he called multiple other companies trying to find us a long distance tow back to Pittsburgh that night as we needed to get back home to our children. Tom from Abes came to our rescue! He came to get us at 1:30am and towed us home. We got home at 5am. My car is heavily modified and he made sure to take extra special car not to damaged anything. Tom was a great guy and we had great conversation the whole way home! Tom made the very stressful situation not so stressful and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience to take 3.5 hours home! Thanks Tom!!! Highly recommended Abes and ask for TOM!!!

My car battery went dead and Geico Roadside Assistance sent Abes Auto Service to help. Abes sent someone right away, he arrived exactly when Abes said he would. He was pleasant and got the car running and gave me instructions on how to keep it running. Very satisfied with the service, highly recommended.

We a an issue with our race trailer while headed to Summit Point Raceway. Abes came out, picked up our race rig and got it to its destination fast and safely. They certainly saved us that night!

Abes sent a guy out to my house for my car to go to the garage. Its an old classic car and I greatly appreciated the care and time that he took in loading and unloading my car he was very nice and I would highly recommend Abes to anybody when getting their car towed.

This place has the most impressive staff at solving all my problems the vehicles and my family can throw at me lately.... Need help with a spare tire, Teenager drives over a curb ... car needs jumped or just a another set of hands on the side of the road or have a equipment on hand that I don’t. This place has done All that for me. They determine the best way to help YOU, not themselves. My experience is with all different drivers and only needed towed 2 out of 5. Had to get my car towed and worked on. They seemed like were very helpful and the owner seemed like he was going to rush working on my car. When, I was quoted a price while they did not outright lie about their prices they were very misleading about how much labor would cost me. There is really only one nice front desk person, 90% of the people that I have talked to there were either short or outright rude. While the got the job done, I would not recommend them.

Super friendly. They are the kind of human beings I enjoy having on planet earth with me. They use the right tools for the right jobs, and take pride in their work, even for something as simple as airing a tire. I hope everyone is fortunate enough to have vehicle issues within their coordinates.

Absolutely great customer service. Called several times a day about my and it didnt faze them them they answered all my questions and assured me my truck would be ready. That Monday my truck was done and ready to go. I only have one complaint and that is they dont work weekends but theyre usually fast enough so it doesnt matter. Do business with this awesome shop. Theyre the only place I go to.

Called in to inquire about a tow. The first person to answer was friendly and helpful. I had a few questions that person couldnt answer. The second person comes on the line and was quite rude a unhelpful to any degree. Finally I asked for a ballpark price and got it can be whatever we want. Ended up towing it myself 🙄

Went there for inspection. They picked everything apart. All the repairs they said I needed would have cost more than I paid for the vehicle. Dont go there for an inspection unless you have a brand new vehicle or be ready to pay.
