Top notch service from Tim and the boys. Always flexible with pickup/drop-off times and never a half-finished job. They are my go-to mechanics for pretty much any repair. Ill be seeing them in the next 5000 miles!
Professional and honest mechanics at this place. I highly recommend. They took the time to test and explain all the issues before fixing. Car is running great! Thank you to the mechanics at accurate auto
Took my 2011 Nissan Frontier (98k miles) in for repairs: Brake master cylinder replaced, shocks replaced, front brake pads replaced, rotors deglazed.Spoke with Tim who was super professional. He expressed great knowledge of the issue and the necessary parts for repair, gave a clear breakdown of what needed to be done and at what price. My truck was finished at the exact time he said it was to be finished and Ive had no problems since.A huge thanks to the team performing the repairs. Will most likely be sticking with Accurate Autoworks for future maintenance.-Greg Fierro
I trust these people - i talked to Ed, who was extremely helpful and even suggested that he could get for me a used spare tire for half the price of a new one. great business overall
After moving from Minnesota, I was looking for a mechanic that was as honest and helpful as the one I was used too. Not only did I find that at Accurate, but they even took the time to walk me through everything they found on my car. In the 10 years I owned it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the underside of my car. Small businesses really take the time to help you and make you feel welcomed. They’ve got a loyal customer after 1 visit.
Literally amazing - helped us diagnose an issue in a pinch
I visit for my yearly check-up services including oil change. I think Accurate Autoworks is truly the best mechanic shop. Im so glad that I found them, of course I wish I found them sooner. I highly recommend them.
Great mechanics. They give thorough explanations and point out trouble spots before they get too big and expensive. They treat your car like their car.
I am a fan! These guys are professional and appreciate return business. Their prices are fair and the mechanics are top notch! You can rest assured that your car is in good hands with Accurate auto. Love my truck and they keep it running for me!Thank you!
This is my trusted auto maintenance shop for my car since moving to California! Ive been coming here for years and cannot speak highly enough for this shop. The team is polite, professional, and honest, allowing me to trust their recommendations and feel like Im not being ripped off at all. They are also very accommodating and always willing to help, especially answering my many questions at times. I definitely plan on continuing to come here! Thanks team!!
I was looking for a Yuasa battery for my motorcycle, and according to the Yuasa website there is a dealer called Acura Autowork near this location. I called Accurate Autoworks instead since Acura Autowork doesnt exist, and Jon S. told me that they are not, in fact, a Yuasa dealer. But he offered to buy an Interstate battery for me instead and charge it as well since I dont have a charger. The Interstate battery is fantastic, and Jon was incredibly kind and helpful while I was trying to sort out which battery I needed. This is a really great place with amazing customer service. You dont come across people like Jon very often.
They are very thorough and professional in their work. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been to them twice with my car and have been very pleased on both occasions. When theyre finished the car always runs great.
Tim and Jon has been really helpful for my cars, they are very technical and reliable, you can trust them. They care about customers safety too. They delivered what they promised, and do their best in finding parts for my car. That I believe not any other repair shops will go that far. Thank you!
You get what you pay for. Good, honest workers. Tim is great to work with.
Great and honest service for my Nissan Versa! I usually call my dad (who is more of a car person than myself) after service to ask about the bill and he always agrees that the pricing is fair. They tell you when the issues are urgent or what can wait until next time, or if they dont have a part that would be the best price, theyll let you know, but they usually have everything!
My family and I have had nothing but great experiences at Accurate Auto. Their work is 100% dependable. Their staff is 100% friendly and helpful. They actually (sit down for this) find ways to help you save money on auto maintenance. Highly recommended.
A great place to take your car.Ive been going here for wow, pretty close to 30 years and they still do a great job and theyre great people.
Great team with Tim and Erik.
When I lived in Pasadena, I used to take my vehicles here all the time. They were incredibly honest and helpful. In fact, when I took my previous vehicle there for the last time, they basically said Well do the work if you want us to, but honestly, you should dump it. Then I had them work on my new car. This was a high-quality business. Great shop!
We have at least two generations of family and several friends who have been taking their cars to Accurate Autoworks for many, many years. We continue to utilize and recommend Accurate Autoworks because they are knowledgeable, competent, efficient and know how to save the customer money. The staff is very personable and willing to answer all questions. By far the best auto repair shop I have ever done business with - you couldnt do better!!
I have been taking my three cars (2004 Subaru Legacy, 2005 Toyota Sienna, 1987 Honda Civic) to these guys for many years. I always find them to be fair and honest, and do excellent work, promptly. From prior experience with other places, I have found it to be very non-trivial and rare to be able to TRUST an auto mechanic team. I trust them!
Everyone was very friendly. Eric took care of my tire quickly. He later called me because I left my travel mug and offered to hold it for me. I highly recommend Accurate Automotive to anyone in the area looking for repairs! Thank you again Eric!
Ive been going to Accurate for years--and have continued even after moving out of Pasadena. Super knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable and always honest. They are the best!
Trustworthy, friendly, helpful. They do a good job of explaining whats going on, and they do good work.
As always over the years Ive been bringing my car to Accurate Autoworks, the service was excellent. Everything that needed to be done was explained and discussed first, no surprise bills. I recently upgraded from a 2002 Civic to a 2018 Civic and one of the factors in my decision to stay with a Honda is that I didnt want to change my mechanic. These guys have a customer for life with me.
These guys are great. Theyre honest, and they really know what theyre doing. They will tell me to the tiniest detail everything that might not be perfect about my car, what really needs to be done now, what can wait until next time, and what might never really need to be fixed. And theyll give me accurate quotes about what each item will cost. And, the one time one of the mechanics messed up, Jon, the owner, made sure everything was made right completely at the shops expense. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
Like the work they do because you feel like their being honest. The owner, John, is very knowledgeable and is will to say I dont know. This guy has integrity. I have moved out of the area, but whenever Im in Pasadena and my Lexus needs any service, I call ahead and see if they can fit me in. Lexus or Toyota. Their outstanding.
Accurate Autoworks has been our familys go-to auto maintenance shop for years. They are extremely competent, provide great advice, explain the reasons for any repairs recommended...wonderful group of people and their prices are way below any dealer.
Been going here for about 4 years and Ive always received friendly, thoughtful service. They always keep my budget in mind and are quick to help prioritize any repairs I need or let me know what can wait until the next tune-up. Definitely go here!
Ive been taking my 1996 Toyota and 2001 Lexus to Accurate Autoworks for 12 years. They are a refuge from the over-priced dealership mechanics. They are friendly, prompt, and reasonably priced. My cars are long in the tooth and they require more maintenance at their age, but Accurate Autoworks keeps them humming just fine. Ill be able to put off purchase of younger models for a few years.
Honest and reliable. I love this place!
Weve been going to Accurate Autoworks for 17 years and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and honest. You wont find A.A. to be the cheapest shop available but ive always found their pricing to be very fair for the amount of thoroughness, honesty, quality and willingness to stand by their work. They also always try to get your car back to you as quickly as possible with no bogus excuses or delays. In short we will continue to use their shop as long as we remain in the area.
Accurate Autoworks is great! They rescued my new car by professionally and courteously fixing the two doors Id banged in (it was the poles fault -- it hit me!) Jon was patient, professional, and totally kind. He called with updates -- how many shops do that -- and even my picky husband was pleased. I think my family will be bringing in our cars for any and all services needed in the future.
Ive relied on the crew at Accurate Autoworks for over a decade. Great service, great work, great people. They go out of their way to provide quality service and the work has always been top notch.
Always excellent service and diagnostics. Thanks again.
Quick and reliable service. Opinions Ive come to trust over 12 years as a customer. Helpful getting older cars in shape to pass smog inspection.
Overpriced for a simple 1 tire change, wanted to charge me $107 and when I asked to see the tire, the mechanic started stuttering and started scrolling through different tires on his computer than the 1st tire he was looking at. Took an hour to do the change. Wouldnt recommend
Really nice guys. Theyre super knowledgeable & really helpful in what are always stressful situations. Thanks for the great customer service!
Very reliable auto repair shop, Thank god i dont have to many problems with my Nissan but every time a check engine light pops up i go to these guys
They do an excellent, thorough job!
READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS: If you want the summarized version, then you can skip to the last few lines... just want to detail my exact experience so people have a better idea. I had some previous work done by my friend (competent mechanic) who installed new struts, engine mounts, wheel bearings, tie end rods, and swaybar bushings. I got an alignment afterwards and the car was great. A couple months after that, I noticed a little sway from side to side in the tires that I could feel coming from around the floorboard. My friend had already moved to another state but said probably the rack and pinion (steering components) are going bad and to have it checked out. This is when I came to Accurate Autoworks based off their ratings and proximity to my place. I talked with the guy there for about 15 minutes and he said they would diagnose it, but of course the mention of a $60 diagnose came at the end of his pitch about how great they were. I just wish he would have been upfront about the cost, so I declined. About 4 months later, the problem was still there and I actually heard a grinding when doing U-turns to the left. I figured to go back because they had convinced me that they find out whats wrong with the car and are great. For $60, I thought it would be a smart decision... wrong. Well, this time they told me it would be $120 to diagnose the car. That shocked me and I said that the last guy told me $60 and $120 is outrageous. For those of you that dont know, $120 to diagnose a car is extremely high and dont buy into the fact they say it credits into your repair. This is a common ploy amongst mechanics and even dealerships dont charge this much, and they do 120-point inspections and test drives. He said they would look at it for $60 and call me if more inspection (aka money) was needed. Keep in mind, I detailed the problem to him exactly so it should have been very easy for them to pinpoint the issue. A day later, they havent looked at my car and call me 30 minutes after they had closed and said they were busy and will get to it tomorrow. Fine... it is what it is... it happens. But next day, Im told that everything seems to be in order. I was baffled. Everything is not fine when my car has a grinding noise and sways from side to side. He said It doesnt seem bad to us and they looked at everything and it seems to be in order. What about the noise when cranking (lock to lock) the steering wheel to the left? He stumbled and probably didnt even check it but eventually said yeah, theres a little noise but better to let sleeping dogs lie. What!?!? I just gave you my car with a noticeable problem and you charged me $60 to look at it. Then you cant even address the issue and then just brush it off. I had to stop right there from doing anymore business with these guys and picked the car up. SIDE NOTE: The guys in there are talking about how they changed the front brakes and rotors on an Audi A7 for $2,400. Hahaha. That is absurd! I truly feel bad for the client who got talked into that. Long story short, I looked up two other mechanics and in my area (Hrant Auto Service and Jerrys Tires). Both places did an inspection for FREE and both agreed the steering was going bad. And heres the kicker, they lost $650 in business when I went with a different repair shop. The car drives BETTER THAN EVER AND THIS WAS THE PROBLEM. Accurate Autoworks couldnt even find the problem when I pointed it out to them. Upon reading the reviews, it seems Im not alone and these guys are overpriced compared to other mechanics. If youve been going to them for years, youve been getting ripped off for years. And the $120 diagnose fee is a front to make you feel committed to doing business with them. Think about it. Thats just bad business. There are plenty of shops including the ones mentioned above with high ratings and who will take care of you and get the job done right. Dont get taken advantage of by high prices equal high quality. Its not true with these guys. Good luck to you.
This is the garage you need to bring your car to ! I brought my car here for a second opinion. The first opinion was that it was a major engine repair. At accurate auto works they found that the problem was a sensor. Just the sensor, the bad sensor was making the engine run poorly. It was a simple fix and they had my car ready ahead of schedule.Bring your car here...they are honest...reliable....and a good value. You wont be overcharged.
These guys do decent work, nothing above average. Their prices are ridiculously high. Be careful because these guys try to upsell you on very expensive parts without reason why its so costly. I paid $1400 for a knock sensor, air/fuel ratio sensor, and front brakes. They act like they cant shop around for more affordable parts. Huge rip off. My first time trying Accurate Autoworks and I wont be going back. With all the auto mechanics around LA, Id recommend you go elsewhere.
Everyone really knows their stuff. They are kind, courteous and extremely helpful. This is the only place I will ever take my Toyota to have work on it. I have referred them to several people I know & raved about the service & personnel. Bette Willmon
Honest shop. Been using them for a couple years and have always been happy with the service.
My Mercury Marque needed 4 major repairs. Got 3 done n Schuler the last for February for my budget. These mechanics are sooo thorough n great service is received. Wouldnt go elsewhere in Pasadena area! Owners are honorable n good business persons! They care of our Nissan n Merc.
Everyone has been very helpful. From getting routine service to making sure the car is roadworthy for long trips. Thanks.
Ive been coming here for about 2 years now, and I think they do great work. Every experience has been smooth, and easy.
I have been going to Accurate for 20 years and am always so impressed with their competence, courtesy and fair prices. Ive recommended Accurate Autoworks to many of my friends.
Weve been taking our cars to Accurate Auto for almost 20 years and have never regretted it. The staff is friendly and helpful and owner Jon will go the extra distance to make you happy.
Very honest and hard-working people. They will never try to milk you for your money
Honest & trustworthy. Nice guys 👍
They found the problem quickly, repaired it properly, and were gentle on the invoice. I am very happy with their service.
These people are consummate professionals
Honest and extremely helpful
Totally professional !!!
Did a nice job on my car tuneup.
Love these guys! I finally gave up on my 1990 Civic because the interior was a mess - but not before Accurate Autoworks had gotten us to 400,000 miles!
Quick service, honest diagnosis of problems, always courteous.
Great work by a knowledgeable crew!
Friendly, honest service.
