Awesome! Dropped my truck off after hours. Had a call from Tim by 8am with a full diagnosis and estimate. Needed a whole exhaust replacement and the estimate was much cheaper than I anticipated after looking up some of the parts on my own. Tim was very courteous. My truck was ready to go by lunch time the same day, and the final price was below the initial estimate. Will definitely be returning! Thanks again fellas.

My trucks carrier bearing broke and I was recommended to come to Genes, and I’m beyond glad I did. Turns out I needed a new drive shaft.They were super nice and told me everything straight, and when it came to ordering a new part they didn’t try and sell me the most expensive thing, just the thing that would work best. Not to mention my truck was done sooner then expected. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

My car broke down in the area over night, and I wasnt familiar with any auto repair shops. I towed it to Genes and they reached out the next morning and was able to get it fixed at a reasonable price within a day! Great service, kind people, and very helpful! I will definitely use them again!

I called Genes to schedule my truck to have a greatly needed tune-up. I explained to Tim on the phone that I needed it done as quickly as possible because it was my work truck. Tim explained everything that would need to be done and what the cost would be. I read up on what needed to be done and the cost ahead of time and he was spot on. He said it would probably take a day and a half to complete. He called me to let me know the status mid day. By 3:00 Tim called to inform me that my truck was done and that the cost was as quoted, (lower than what the internet was saying). Gene and his mechanic have always been very honest with my family about our vehicles. If he doesnt think something needs to be done he tells you up front. I have always appreciated his honesty and will continue to take my vehicles to his place.

I had a car that the engine went out on. I couldnt buy a new car And needed it replaced. Most shops will not do this cause of high labor costs. I felt like they treated me very well and honestly did a good job explaining costs and things needed and not needed done on car. I went to Genes based on all the positive Google reviews. Scheduled an appointment for 3 items to be serviced. Day of appointment Im describing the issues I was having with vehicle and Gene came off as rude, acted annoyed I was even talking, and looked at me like I was an idiot. He made me immediately uncomfortable, but I told myself they are raved about online so maybe he was just having a bad day. The lady in the office was very friendly. I since had to go back to point out a minor issue that I discovered and he was rude again. Honestly if hes that irritable and POd of a person how does keep staff? He definitely comes off as someone miserable/unhappy. Whether or not it was his intent, he also gave me the impression he was not thrilled to work on my type of vehicle, and it was a burden. Lastly, nobody thanked me for my business when I picked up the car and paid cash ($440 later). Seems like the most basic level of customer service you can extend is Thank the customer!!! I have leased multiple vehicles over the years and spent enough time dealing with service advisors at various dealerships for routine maintenance work, I generally know what to expect; this experience was by far the rudest I have gotten anywhere I have visited. Now that I have an older vehicle i need a reliable mechanic, but will not be back to Genes. Obviously they are doing very well and dont need my business based on all the cars in their lot and all the postive reviews. They didnt care about me as a customer, they certainly arent going to care about my review but thought I should share my experience as a recent review. Fyi... i have never left a Google review for any business so that speaks to the poor experience I had. Honestly all I expected was a friendly hello when I arrived, what can we help you with? And then be coordial when Im explaining the problem, and finally a genuine thank you for your business at the end of the transaction (its a small business for petes sake, thats what you expect!) Im sure the mechanics do great work, as they cant be this popular for this many years if they werent. Im just baffled why I was treated this way???
