Do not recommend, shop was more interested in digging into my pocket book than my vehicle.I went in for an alignment appointment on 17 September after replacing everything behind my passenger side wheel. Thirty minutes in the technician brought me into the bay to witness an extreme amount of play in my wheel, claiming it was my new bearing without having so much as taken my tire off. I figured I just got a bad part; realistically these things happen and replacing a $50 bearing isnt a big deal. Even then, their $500 quote to replace the bearing that day was more than reasonable- I was just skeptical that perhaps something more than the bearing was off given the amount of play I saw.However, when I brought the vehicle home to more thoroughly diagnose (and put together a new parts order if necessary) EVERYTHING was rock solid- except for my sway bar links which they destroyed thanks to obviously tightening it with an impact.I called demanding an explanation and was told Id get a call back the next day to speak with a technician.Its been two weeks with no word. Mediocre.Ive since gone to another shop, gotten my alignment done without issue, had my tires balanced, and replaced my sway bar links.

Brakes Plus is a awesome store..they diagnosed my car for free. I appreciate Kaitlin telling us exactly what was wrong with the car...it was different parts that had to do with safety...I was so grateful they found everything..this store was in Papillon..Kaitlin gave us a ride home. So we wouldnt have to wait two hours. Im so gratefulThen they drove to another place to get my tires balanced.Great shop! Informed and professional.Will go back if anything is wrong with my car!!

This auto facility is superb. The gal at the front really made sure to go out of her way and make sure I was taken care of. They seemed a bit busy, guess thats because they all have a good head on their shoulders. The tech finishing my alignment brought the keys right up to me after they were done. Mark was super helpful and nice! This man is so great with customer service! Now I’ve used Brakes Plus for all of my oil changes but this time (6-2-2021) they kind of disappointed me. I don’t know if it was because they were super busy but they didn’t reattach my hood latch and Mark came out to the parking lot with me to help get it reattached and even stayed to make sure it worked correctly. Thank you so much!

We made an online appt, they were prepared for us and completed the repair same day. Great service and very appreciative! Never been disappointed here! Kaitlyn got us taken care of quickly and answered all of our questions. Will be back with next repair need...just hope not too soon!

A trainee did some of the service work. Everyone has to start somewhere. My only complaint is he left greasy hand prints on the outside, sides of the car and inside the car on the window, stick and door handles. Hes young! Clean your hands before touching everything! Other than that, the price was right and was done in an hour even with a first day trainee. Train him up!

Twice in a row, I had the issue of my cars brake lights staying on (the brake sensor was faulty). Both of these times, Brakes Plus fixed my brake sensor for free! Great customer service too.

Made an appointment yesterday 6/18/21 for today10:00 am for brake check, was there at 9:50 am, the guy who check me in seem like was a new employee, I told him also if its possible to give me an estimate for muffler, after waiting for half an hour the guy gave me estimate for my muffler and then handed me the keys (they never check my car!) And I asked the guy what about you my break check? thats the main reason I made this appointment, he said that he did not know that, I showed him the email they sent me for the appointment, to make it short they dont know how to make an appointment with computer.If you want to make your appointment on computer with this brake shop, make sure they read the appointment and they know what they supposed to do otherwise if you dont want headache just dont go there..... I STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND I NEVER GO BACK THEIR!

Wow! Brakes Plus staff went above and beyond today. I thought I needed new brakes and after a free diagnostic it was determined my front brakes just needed rust cleaned off. SO grateful for their honesty! I will for sure return when necessary.

Made an appointment for 12. I was on time. They didnt even look at my car until 430. No point in making an appointment if its not going to be honored. Heck I was even told it would only take a couple hours. That was at 12. I had to call at 430 to get an update. No communication with customer. Wont honor appointments.This is the second time I brought the car in. The first time I brought it in for shocks and struts, somehow they messed with the ECO system. I had to pay Toyota to get it figured out.Rates are great but an issue both times

I work with these guys all the time and they have been nothing but good to me. I will go no where but brakes plus for all my mechanical services and repairs. For my old subaru they completely redid the suspension for a great price. Honest, helpful, reliable. Now traded that in and got this ford like I said those guys are the only guys I will ever go to even for an oil change. A cut above the rest.

I had an incident with car last weekend where the bottom cover of my car came off in a car wash. Many other places turned me away when I asked if they could help bolt it back in place. After being turned down by three places I went to brakes plus desperate for help because I couldn’t fix it myself. They told me they were very busy but were glad to help if I had a little time. I was on my way with in 15 minutes. They have such amazing employees and I was so grateful they were willing to help. I would highly recommend this location!

They seem like really nice guys. The first time I was there my oil change took like 4 hours, but they took like 10 dollars off the bill for my inconvenience. They even gave me an extra 10 dollars off when I got my brakes serviced. I would recommend this place for auto service.

I needed an oil change and my car was making a lot of noise. Stopped in while I was in the area to see if I could get in and was taken care of right away. Tim not only got the car in for the oil change quickly, but took the car on a quick drive to see what the issues I had were. While the oil change was getting done, he came out and walked me through what issues they found, pointed out which should be priority to fix and get the additional repairs done quickly. I will definitely be back for any other issues.

My low washer fluid warning light came on as I was driving home, so I pulled into Brakes Plus with the hope of purchasing some retail fluid. I had never been in before and wasnt sure what they offered, but figured it was worth a try. I was immediately greeted by Brad, assistant manager, with a warm welcome and offer of assistance. When I told him what I needed, he immediately went into the shop and procured an industrial container of washer fluid. He walked me to my car and proceeded to top off my fluids, in the rain no less. Brad refused to accept any form of payment and repeatedly stated he simply wanted me to have a safe journey home. It was such a wonderful act of kindness, generosity, and service and clearly signals how much he cares about people, not just paying customers. Needless to say, it was a bright spot in my week and I will be returning for a brake service in the very near future.

Had taken car to the dealer and was told brakes needed replaced. (Nearing metal on metal.). I’ve used Brakes Plus numerous times and took it there and asked them to put new brakes on. After dropping it off I received a call telling me the brakes are fine and no need to replace them. Honesty at its best and why I do business with this location.

The crew was kind and professional. I had to bring my car in during covid and they took precautions to ensure my and their own safety. I will definitely come here again for my next oil change! :)

Matt was great in helping me change my appointment and he was able to get me in today at an earlier time. My schedule is crazy today and I overbooked my afternoon with daughters Doctor appts,getting my car fixed and needing to pick my kids grandmother up from the hospital today ( added this morning) Of course all in the same chunk of time 🙄. Went in for a brake change, they changed them quickly and for a really good price. Will continue not use the place and I highly recommend it.

I got an attitude from the staff. Brakes started making noise again and found out myself that the rotors were not reinstalled correctly by Brakes Plus. I had to take the brakes apart and install the rotor correctly in my driveway to make the noise go away.

This review is overdue but I want to say how great my experience was here when I was 35 weeks pregnant and trying to get my car ready for the winter and hauling a new baby around. They changed my oil and checked my brakes (which I thought for sure would need to be replaced). Instead of replacing the brakes — which would’ve been easy money for them — they explained the different stages of wear and said I could get more use out of the ones I had. I had also left a discount coupon with an employee when I dropped off my car but somehow it got misplaced so the manager said my oil change was on them. I wouldve been happy with the service anyway, but that was the cherry on top for me! Highly recommend and will be going back!

Im sure its a good place I just had a bad experience called 3 days before to get my brakes looked at for squeaking has appointment planned 4:00 in the afternoon I get there they messed up the time and then they said itll take several hours and to come back the next day so I left unhappy

This review was originally posted 2 years ago — but I noticed it only had 2 views so I’m guessing Brakes Plus attempted to bury it. Reposting now.I scheduled an appointment for an alignment on my 2013 Toyota Corolla for Monday afternoon. Initially, Ernie (who I am guessing is the manager of the shop) explained what they were doing, and what would need to be done. The front alignment would be standard, and cost $67. The driver rear also needed to be aligned, but that would require a shim, which would be an additional $120. I agreed to the front alignment under the agreement I could come back in 30 days and do the back alignment and have the front redone (since they have to be done together). Things seemed fine at this point.I waited a little longer, decide that I want to maybe just go ahead and do it all at once since Im there, but when I go out to the shop to tell them this, they advise me that they have found another issue. I go under the chassis with the mechanic and he points me to the front passenger wheel. The inner tie rod is significantly bent. It will need to be replaced before they can do an alignment. Ernie is across the way trying to find the part he says. I go back into the waiting room to wait for pricing on the tie rod.Ernie returns with a quote. A quote to replace the ENTIRE RACK AND PINION. Apparently, according to Ernie, they do not sell the inner or outer tie rod separately, and I will need to buy the entire thing. Since there is so much teardown involved in this, the labor will be significant. He states that Toyota sells the rack and pinion for $1200 but not to worry, because he can get a remanufactured one for $688. I ask him again why he cant just replace the tie rod itself - to which he responds that it wont work, and it needs to be the whole rack, and it cant be done in pieces because they dont sell them like that.I am slightly wary at this point, so I called my husband. He asked me to take a picture of the damage and come home. I advised Ernie that I would need to think about it and I left.Once I got home, my husband took one look at the quote and laughed. He went on parts.toyota.com and found the inner and outer tie rod, both available as separate pieces. He then proceeded to call the NAPA (on Grover St.) to see if they had the parts in stock - they did. He purchased both the inner tie rod, the outer tie rod, and a few other miscellaneous parts for a grand total of $115. He installed them the next evening in less than two hours. Not only were the parts $570 cheaper, they are most likely of higher quality than I would have received.I am lucky to be married to a very mechanically inclined man. I know this isnt the case for everyone, so I post this as a warning to others. If you do go here, I would recommend getting a second opinion from another shop before proceeding with repairs.

I love that Tim came out to sit down and discuss with me what was going on with my vehicle. I went in for an oil change and he let me know some things that he came across and told me I had a decision to make...whether I keep the vehicle or not. They put my safety at risk for a profit, and knowingly sold me a dangerous product. Will not be back. I may be one customer to them, but they lost a customer today. Will not be back to them or discount tire.

Great friendly service and reasonable prices. The work was completed on time as promised and I am very thankful that my vehicle is safe once again. :)

Well, this is going to be a very interesting review. First, let me say the reviews are fairly positive. Im not supposed to give names, but I must mention a few, that are relevant. I called Jenson, Firestone, and Midas. All were priced higher than Brakes Plus for replacing rear brake pads and mastering (turning) the rotors. When we took the SUV in, the guy at the front desk said they would inspect the brakes and call me with a quote, and he did. He quoted me a price which was two times more than what was quoted to me on the phone, two days earlier. I ask for a breakdown, he just continue to give me the full cost. I wanted a cost of parts and labor. Never did get it. Will I be back.....absolutely not. It may have been above board.....it just didnt feel like it. They seem to go out of their way to make it hard to trust them.

Took my car in to have the power steering looked at and possibly fixed. For some reason suddenly a bunch of things were wrong with my car told me it would cost 3,000 to fix it. Turns out the power steering is on recall and it can be done for free at my dealership but they just kept telling me wouldnt find a better deal anywhere else. Nothing was wrong with my car i took it to another place and my car aside from the power steering nothing was wrong with it. This place rips people off they have atm 70+ bbb complaints against them my normal repair place has 0. Dont take your car here!

These guys are great! Been here several times and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Tim has helped me on several occasions and is always so nice! Went in with a possible bad battery, they tested and charged it for me plus filled my antifreeze and oil at no charge! They always go above and beyond and will definitely be returning for any repairs I need.

Went here because my car was making a loud screech, so I figured I needed a brake job. Brad, (the employee I dealt with), insisted I need $1900 worth of work (said my rotors were all rusted through, my front calipers didnt compress so I was running on half-functioning brakes, and my inner tie rods were loose), I didnt much care for the fear tactics seeing as I had never noticed any severe rust, so I went to Exclusive Honda for a second opinion. My vehicle is entirely fine and Brakes Plus tried to swindle me out of $1900. Cannot recommend to anyone.
