I took my custom made leather riding duster to them for repair. Mind you I Talked to 5 leather shops prior to going to them. 4 of them said they would not work on it. The last place that I went to they Did not give me the feeling of confidence in repairing my duster. I called and talked to off ramp leathers. They told me sure come on in we will take a look at it. Upon arrival I saw a nice little store a diverse amount of leather goods new . used and custom made. When I saw the Tailors table, Sewing machine, And measuring tape I knew I was in the right place. 2 days later they not only had my jacket repaired and cleaned, But what really amazed me was the fact that theyd did clean it .The repair was excellent and the cost of my repair Was a lot less than expected for the amount of time and work they put in to my duster. I am going back there to make some modifications that they suggested that I have problems with my Riding duster, And I am taking one of my custom made leather Coats to them for some alterations also. The quality, craftsmanship and charges for services that they render are unparalleled,and they are nice people.

Ordered a custom vest at MAL 2019 and received 3 weeks later, better and faster than I expected. This company doesnt have automated email systems to inform customers their order has been received, expected order completion dates or even when the shipment dates, but what they lack in modern day conveniences they make up for in the lost art of quality American workmanship, quick turnaround times, and respectful conversations. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Paul Johnson is the best leatherworker you will find anywhere. And, wonderful pieces of vintage leather can be found at reasonable prices on their consignment racks.

Pauls work is outstanding.Over the years I have had a pair of boots beautifully mended (others said they were impossible to to fix) and a jacket repaired.His quality and craftsmanship is superb with a scrupulous attention to detail for a very reasonable price.I was sorry to see him move from San Francisco to Palm Springs, believing distance t be a barrier but he has been joy to work with.A true leather craftsman....
