My husband and I have been members for almost 10 years. During many of those years we traveled with work and we loved having a ME located in all the different cities/states. We methodically book our appointments to coincide with each other as well as other appointments/commitments. This ME location has on many occasions had to reschedule me due to one problem or another. Several times its just been because they didnt know the therapists schedule at the time of my booking. It is very frustrating when we work so hard aligning our schedules to fit their limited appointments and then to have a wrench thrown in. The receptionist who calls is always very polite, but matter-of-fact about having to reschedule that it sounds like shes used to this happening on a regular basis. Yet theres nothing I can really do. They have me at their mercy if I want to continue going to this location.
Very poor communication in Palm Springs location. My situation is complicated to explain but if the communication was good then I would of been a happy customer. Just make sure you ask questions and keep good track of what you subscribe for.
My brother was overwhelmed with the service. The shave involves preparing skin with a hot towel, lather up, that shave included eyebrows, nose hair, ears, wipe down with another hot towel. It was so cool. Five-star service!
Never consistent. Always canceled or disappointed.
Customer service is very poor. I tried to use a gift certificate for a facial. When I arrived the receptionist told me it would be $120 instead of $70 because I use to be a member. This, in itself is messed up since I received the certificate as a Christmas gift from my spouse. I ultimately agreed to pay the higher price because I did not want the certificate to go to waste. Then the esthetician told me she could not do the facil because I used Retin A cream two days ago. I spoke with the manager, Brenda, and told her no where was there any advanced warning or advisement regarding this - I came down to the spa for nothing. All Brenda offered me was to book a future appointment. I will try to get the certificate refunded but feel bad that my husband wasted his hard earned money on such a shady business.
My wife had a great massage done byDiana
Well first off. She started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so my $75 an hour facial was really only 40 minutes. when I made my appointment I went to great efforts to explain what I was really looking for in my facial I dont feel like the receptionist really knew what to schedule me for. Yes they were all polite and professional the place smelled good and was clean however I did not get what I wanted or what I thought I was paying for. And I would say 20 of the 40 minutes was a massage on my neck and hands. if I wanted to spend half my time getting a massage I would have scheduled a massage. And not only to did she end my hour 10 minutes early she then tried to sell me an almost $400 facial cleaning kit. That they did not even have in stock. I really want to start working on my skin but Im going to find another spa to help me do it.
Absolutely the worst massage i have ever gotten. No pressure at all, it was super light touch asked for more pressure and nothing more.I actually got up and left during the massage.I hope they get some better people
Great service.
Made two appointments for my SO and I at 5 oclock Saturday on Thursday. They took my card number to hold the spot and charge a cancellation fee if we canceled. Which is fine, that is normal. However, I got a call from the first person to call herself manager Lucy. She left a voicemail stating that the therapist for my SO was no longer available and there was nothing she could do, but I could give her a call back to reschedule sometime. I called back less than two minutes later and no one answered. So now my appointment has been canceled and no one is answering the phone. Alright, I left a voicemail stating my slight annoyance that no one answered the phone and that my appointment had been cancelled. (Does that mean I can charge THEM a cancellation fee?) I received a call back fifteen minutes later from the SECOND person to call themselves a manager Summer. She explains they have found another therapist and we still have our appointments. Good deal, moving on....until NINE THIRTY that night I receive a call from someone else saying now that MY appointment has been canceled! First of all, you dont call customers at 9:30PM. That is FAR past business hours and I am astounded that a place like Massage Envy does something like this. Secondly, that person offered me a facial in place of my massage (well, I still had to pay though!) When a customer books a massage, they would like a massage. I let her know to just cancel both appointments and to NOT charge my card. The next day (Saturday) I called to speak to a manager. Now Lucy was back saying she was manager. After explaining my whole situation to her the only question I had was asking that both of our appointments were canceled and that I would not be charged on my card for either. Without an apology, she began to speak over me and argue with me! Explaining that she said I could call her back to reschedule my massage? I then interrupted and explained I only wanted to confirm that my card would NOT be charged. Her answer, I am getting to THAT PART! But I want to say some OTHER things first... I told her, No. I only want to know if my card is being charged. That is all! She finally said no and we hung up.Extremely terrible customer service. I will be attempting to contact cooperate/owner to make sure this is reviewed and hopefully they will make some changes to how they treat their customers.
I came last week for my first massage and it was exceptional. Booked an appointment for today and drove 45 minutes tobget here and they never scheduled me at all. I dont know what happened but super bummed and upset i wasted my time and morning. Doubt ill be back
I have moved often throughout the pat 10 years and each time I have moved Ive changed my home Massage Envy location. Last week was my first time visiting the Palm Springs location and I was not disappointed! Although the Spa, as a whole, isnt as nice as some of the other locations I have visited, the customer service was just as good as all the others. My therapist was Rebecca and she was everything I have come to expect in a great massage therapist. She was professional, treated me with the utmost care and checked in with me often to be sure her pressure was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Massage Envy and specifically, the office in Palm Springs!!!
It was a clean place and had a pleasant atmosphere. DOROTHY, one of the front desk staff was fantastic. I gave them only 3 stars b/c my therapist didnt listen when I told him I recently had knee surgery. Massage Envy was respectful to me and did what they could to make things right for the pain this male therapist caused me. Thats good customer relations and service.
I was contacted today by the Ramon Rd Palm Springs location to notify me that my credit card was declined. I let them know that there was suspicious activity on the account and I closed it down and that as soon as I received my new card I would call them. They were not very nice and verbalized that they were going to suspend my account. They did not seem to care that I had been a loyal customer and had six prepaid massages on the books. I could not access them. Really bad customer service. They promote health and well being and then turn around and treat their customer badly. Know that they are only concerned about their well being not yours.
The front office staff is very friendly and professional. My massage therapist, Joel, is fabulous. Ive had facials here before, sometimes hit or miss. But the 90 minute facial was great. I leave feeling less stressed and happy every time!
This is not my main Massage Envy, but it is close to the airport so I made an aptmt while waiting for the rest of my travel group to land. I stressed a desire for a deep tissue therapist with concerns as I had never been there, and they did provide me with a good masseuse who communicated well regarding pressure and did deep tissue. Everyone was friendly.
Great place, relaxing! The staff was nice and friendly. Well worth the money . I went home feeling good and relaxed!!!
Jose is great always gets all the spots. And I deal with alot of pain from working multiple jobs so I really appreciate when I go in limping I come out not limping thankful that youre the best Jose you get five stars all the time thanks so much Deane Paine
Some of the best massages Ive ever had. Dont be shy about telling the therapist how you like it.... I noticed that they all follow some kind of guidelines and dont deviate unless you specifically tell them what to do.
Just landed in Palm Springs for a holiday, had a lot of issues all of a sudden and didnt know where to go to get help but was fortunate to have found Massage Envy and had a fantastic therapeutic massage with Refina today that addressed all of the issues I had beyond what I thought was even possible (have a lot of experience with massage) and from the very helpful front desk experience through to the treatment, I could not have had a better experience.
The staff at this location are not only rude, they are dishonest and manipulative. Lucy lied to me several times over the phone. The cashiers are rude and uninformed. And worse of all, the CMT they stuck me with after my regular CMT changed his schedule, gave me a mediocre massage. What a mistake to trust this franchise after reading all the bad reviews here and on Yepl.
Very organized. Talented therapists. Member for 2 years. Never felt better!
Great massages!!!
Good therapists (ask for Joel). Great membership progam.
CONSUMER BEWARE: Therapists are great, but the management is awful. After I paid my final months membership and cancelled it with a month to go, they wouldnt let me use the months service credit. They ripped me off for $59.
Just wanted to say thank you for an amazing experience, truly professional and very friendly. Thank you again.
Great customer service and some of the best massage therapists Ive experienced.
Great service. Classy place
Professional and clean setting. Friendly eastheticians, relaxing armosphere, good service but not enoigh service. astheticians at Massage Envy are not allowed to bring aesthetician tools ofnthe trade to Massage Envy like tweezers and the steel tools used for blackhead removal. So they will pop zirs on your face with rheir finger but they will not actually scoop out the bacteria with the scooper because they are not allowed to have the scooper. You can not get add on services like hetting your brows tweezed or your face waxed because they do not offer amy of that stuff. So for the price of the facial ypu do not get the services other beauty salons frequently offer with facials.
Great services however it is a little pricey.
Booked an appointment online, appointment was never scheduled. Was given the excuse that their phone was down, so no massage? What a JOKE!
