We are going on our second year with Massey Services for lawn, tree, and shrub along with pest and termite control. Our lawn, tree and shrub tech, Jesse, has been outstanding. He is very knowledgeable and has nursed my Indian Hawthorne bushes back to life. I was planning to take them out because they were not doing well and he got them green and healthy within months. Now I am happy with them. The lawn fertilizing and treatments work and keep our grass green and full! Our tech, Sean, was great as well before he got promoted within the company. I want to add that Sean got my hibiscus tree to bloom more than it has since weve moved here. We are very pleased and thankful all the services are with one company and that it is a local company.

Very comfortable with Massey Termite Protection Program! As part of our home termite protection program with Massey the technician was out for the periodic inspection. I checked with him near the end of his inspection as I like to get a verbal on-the-spot assessment in addition to the write-up. In the conversation he helped me better understand the bait treatments, reviewed potential signs to watch out for and checked back with office records on termite coverage for our home. Very knowledgeable, patient and helpful with answers to my questions. Then read his name tag and it was the general manager filling in for one of the technicians. Consistent with my previous visit to their office and working with previous technicians, clearly from technicians to office personnel to intermediate management and right on up to this general manager, this Palm Harbor Massey Termite group is top notch and Id recommend them highly.

I use Massey for my pest control and I’m very pleased. Their Lawn Care services on the other hand are HORRIBLE.I had sod replaced that took months to actually take; resulting in massive water bills and complete inconvenience. One spot NEVER grew in and the company could have cared less.I continued to advise of the problem. My tech would come regularly and spend a bunch of time writing up his findings. I observed on 4 separate occasions his time spent in the yard as 2-3 minutes TOTAL. Yet, his “analysis” was very detailed. The spot that never actually grew, he indicated it was due to overuse. Ridiculous. My dogs go out into the yard and do not even hang out in the grass. Plus, the grass never grew! I had temporary fencing around it for over 2 months!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN LAWN SERVICES. There was zero benefit or improvement with their service. Lawn had weeds and dead spots and the sod project was unsuccessful.

My grass has been dying for several months, ie 6months. Rather than their technicians taking care of it I had to notify the company. Upon notifying them they said they couldn’t repair it for 6-8 weeks. In the meantime to ensure it’s replaced they want me to keep my 50$ a month. I asked them to hold device to avoid being charged and they refused. Very poor quality and customer service . Their mosquito spray also fails. I have been using them for over a year for mosquito spray and my children and I continue to have several bug bites each time we go on the porch. We use deet and still eaten up. I would avoid this company at all costs. We were patient for several years with them and we wasted thousands and f dollars with massey

Ive been using Massey services Palm Harbor for a year and a half. My lawn looks great all year round. I do many things myself, but lawn fertilization and pest control are best left to the pros, theres too many variations and variables from season to season to be able to do it yourself. One less thing to worry about! The guys that come out are always professional and reliable, and can provide helpful advice when needed.

Beware! They send a high-pressure sales technician at your home for your initial inspection. They will not guarantee an initial service or spot service. They want you to pay for a contract for $495. The technician pressures you to sign the day they arrive. I had a simple question if I could call the office later today or the next day. So I can consult with my wife when she got home from work. I somehow struck a nerve with the high-pressure salesman and he went on a rant why I am going to hesitate, you have an issue when you’re home you should get it resolved today. His response was very rude and unnecessary. The technician stormed out of my house because I did not sign his contract, and why I questioned him about the services. If this is how they react and respond to potential customers, I could only imagine how they would treat you after you signed on the dotted line for the full amount. These reviews are on here for a reason. Read them and save yourself a lot of money and headache.

I use Massey for lawn and pest and have been very happy with their services. They have addressed and resolved any issues Ive had very quickly. Would recommend.

At the time I was looking for a yard service co, there was only one review and it was not good. Should have paid more attention to the review, but being in retail, I know that sometimes no matter what you do, you wont satisfy everyone. My yard had recently been re sodded and was looking great when I signed up with Massey. Almost immediately, my yard started turning yellow, along with my Roebeleni Palm. Thinking that the yard and shrubbery needed to adjust to the new regimen, I let them continue the service. After eight months, 10%-20% of my yard is either dead or not growing. They came out to look at the Palm and left their Landscaping Report that stated sprayed on insect & disease control to the Magnolia! We have no Magnolia, and the palm is still yellow. Really disappointed in the results.

Very disappointed and unhappy with the service. Called and made an appointment for termite inspection on a potential wood home purchase, but the inspector that came out and could not fit in the attic or go underneath the home for a thorough inspection. I was still charged the full $150 for the service. From what he could see there seems to be no signs of active termites. I should have refused to pay and have the inspection guy send someone else out that could fit in the attic and look underneath the home. Will not use this company again.

Decided to give Massey a chance after telling me a lot of BS. No communication. Doubtful they even performed the services. Had new sod put in. “We’ll do a new weed sod treatment”. Month later, sod is full of weeds. Bug and insect treatment? My yard has three generations of grubs and mole crickets. Total waste of money. Beware. Why take the risk when there are so many other companies out there?

My yard looks great, and no pest in my house good job. Very dependable.

Mark with Massey Services is a huge disappointment was recommending him to multiple clients in the past 90 days Ive received 12 phone call saying that they are disappointed in the services. He also recommended Jason SEE from see more green for irrigation. Jason has since then has closed his business after charging me $250 making the problem even more of a headache for me still not fixed he is a snake coming to find out he screwed his business partner...I have called him and left him multiple messages not one return phone call.Massey Services buyer beware!!!

Update I have called again still no call back. At this point I am canceling my service and going with another company. The fact the service managers can’t rerun call is frankly ridiculous

Kendra, Mary, and Brianne at Massey are phenomenal i have nothing but good things to say about them they are very accommodating Kendra always greeted me with a big smile always putting the customer first these women are an asset to the company. I have owned my home for five years never having my lawn look so bad and i am fanatical with my property. But unfortunately due to a constant turnover of techs and lack of exspieriance my lawn got destroyed so bad this year with crabgrass and chinch bugs,which were supposed to have been taken care of, i am considering selling my home and moving to a condo i am so disgusted. I have a huge property and it will cost a small fortune to get it back the way it was fortunately i have acquired a company that has been servicing my community for years they are going to try and salvage my lawn.I strongly advise people if they are looking for a lawn service they check and see how long there techs have been with the company and check there prior exspieriance along with credentials in lawn care service.Massey services were great in the beginning but as time went on i always had a different tech that is when all my problems started WARNING!

This company has very questionable billing practices. I have been a loyal customer for years and usually pay for the year services in advance. After paying for the year in advance in last Jan 2017, i miraculously had a service performed in oct that was somehow not covered by the year i had paid in jan. I questioned this only to have kendra not really give me a good explanation in return. I told them to cancel my service immediately. They still came out and sprayed my lawn because they say they require a 30 day written notice to cancel. Ive started with a different company at this point and my lawn already looks better than the 3+ years they treated it at my current residence. Do yourselves a favor and shop around for better lawn services that dont come with shady business practices attached.

We used TruGreen for lawn, landscaping and irrigation for 4 years and finally got fed up with their lack of service. Massey has been great to work with- when you call, a person answers, and they show up and perform the services requested when they promise to do so.

Where do I begin.. Hired them to fix yard with fungus. I paid them and was promised theyd be there in 2 days..Didnt show for about 18 days. Fungus ate yard..General Mgr and Service Mtg promised theyd be there next day...Still havent seen them. Lawyer involved now. Less then 1 star!!!!!!!
