Ive had two oil changes at the Palm Harbor Tire Choice. Both were very positive experiences. Im wary of chain auto servicing centers because so many are designed with upselling the customer on services they do not need. Not only does Tire Choice not try to convince me that if I dont fix some obscure wheel, valve, or pad, I will die in a fiery blaze, they charge a fair price for the work I actually came in for. I was shown my oil filter, which was indeed filthy, not just made to trust them blindly. I was advised that the next visit will probably be about time to do the rear brakes, but they are fine for the moment, just keep it in mind. They do a thorough job, in a short amount of time and I can make appointments online.

Overall knowledge and integrity was superb. But 4 tires and alignment with appointment at 1pm finally ready to pickup 8am next day. Felt like I was pushed to the back of line. Would use again with realistic expectations.

I can always trust taking my car here. I have always had good experiences. I would recommend taking your car here for anything as simple as an oil change to something more complicated like a mechanical failure. You will definitely get an honest evaluation.

Clint & Christian gave me exceptional customer service. My oil filter wasn’t in stock, and they still made sure my oil was good to go until the filter comes in. This is on a Sunday! These guys rock!!

These guys were super busy but got me in for new tires. Did a great job but my sensor light is still on. If it doesnt go off after a few miles Ill go back in.

Ok place but didn’t diagnose the full issue on the first or second visit which is disappointing when people are busy and have no time to wait around in fixing an ac issue. Office staff not real good at communicating! When they say the job will be done in 1 hour and 2 hrs later you are still waiting and no one comes to tell you what is going on is real frustrating!! The issue was never resolved in the end and had to take to dealership for them to figure it out, Wouldnt use this place again.

I have a Bmw 2012 that the dealer told me would be $3000 to fix. I was taken right in and problem was fixed half the price. Thank you Joe and Sal for working with me. Highly recommend!!

My family mechanic died of a heart attack a few years ago. Weve been using the dealership and other mechanics trying to find a new home. My neighbor recommended the Tire Choice in Palm Harbor. He said his family has been going there for years, and are very satisfied. Well let me tell you what... I am so grateful for this referral because we have definitely found our new mechanic shop. One of the last mechanics we used didnt put the nuts and bolts back on front end suspension parts all the way, and they sheared apart from vibration. This was my wife and kids car, and made for a potentially fatal accident if the failure occurred at highway speeds. The dealership told us the the truck was a total loss, as the frame would need to be replaced per Toyota protocol. This was a huge stress factor in our lives for a few weeks before we found Andrew, the manager at Tire Choice in Palm Harbor on 19. What a guy. Honest, knowledgeable, personable, and hospitable are just a few character traits I would say Andrew possesses. I know how hard it is to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. I thank my lucky stars my neighbor referred me. Thank you Andrew!!

People were nice BUT plan to wait hours regardless if you have an appt. Also, they run oil change specials BUT will charge an extra $10 stating the special is for 5 qts and said my vehicle has 5.5 qts. :/

Andrew the manager was so personable, attentive, and just all around nice!!! My father may he rest in peace had always done any work needed on all of my vehicles so I was hesitant to go to a large chain mechanic however I was so happy I decided to go with them. Not only did he help explain the process needed step by step but he also did not make a move without confirming exactly what I wanted. Would I use them again? A thousand times YAAAAASSSS!!! Went in for the 19.99 oil change. What a crock! Got told need 2 new tires and was told if give a great review by the manager Andrew, would get 10% off. Took the discount but if this is how you are getting customers, wont be back because the oil change ended up being over $30. and with new tires, way too much! Wont be back and wont recommend!

Great staff and great service! Andrew and Joe took great care of my family today. They even gave my daughter some crayons and paper to draw with while my car was getting the oil changed. Their recommendations for extra work weren’t over the top and they weren’t pushy about them either. They answered all of my questions about the extra services and even took me out to my car so I could better understand what they were talking about. I do NOT recommend I was scheduled for an appointment came early and was sitting for over an hour for my scheduled oil change which they hadnt even started on..not to mention they tried overcharging me as a young woman. I will never come here again the worst service. Not friendly at all.

Andrew, Vito, & Joe make sure the job you get done is serviced right.. And I like the fact from one that use to work on his own vehicles they point out the what, why, how is was accomplished.. In a day & age where customer service should be done right. You can have someone dependable & respectful & clear. Treating you as if it was there own vehicle.

This new manager Andrew Witthoeft gave me unbelievable great service. He was willing to go get a part for me 1/2 hour before closing and gave me several options of what was best for my truck. Andrew was great to work with! He calmed my fears about the costs of repairs and didn’t pressure me into getting work done I didn’t need. He did give me suggestions on future work, which I appreciated. My car was done on time and he called and communicated throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend and will go back.

My company trailer blew a bearing and most tire shops acting like they didnt know what that was they said he had to get it here and then they had it up and ready to go and he even told me how I can get the part cheaper have them do all the work from the axle to brand new tire

Great service reasonable prices and willing to go the extra mile. Andrew took time to explain the issues I had and even had an employee give me a ride home since it would be a few hours. Really couldnt ask for anything more. Most places speak about customer service, but this place truly practices it. These days thats a very refreshing and welcome change.

The entire staff was personable and friendly from the get-go. I waited for my oil change (short wait time. I was impressed) and the waiting room is comfortable, has free wifi if you have work to get done, a vending machine, etc. Joe was very friendly, helpful and informative through the process. Had a tire blow out when I was out with my wife and 1 year old. I was right across the street so I stopped it for new tires. Andrew was extremely helpful and polite to me and my family. I drive a low car and he needed to take some extra steps just to lift it up, but he got it done and in a timely manner and got me and my family back on the road. I’ve been using this Tire Choice location for several years now after another shop (not this chain and thankfully no longer in business) completely ruined my faith in humanity after putting in used parts. The then manager, John, at Tire Choice was outstanding. They kept the parts, showed them too me and walked through everything. Last year, I had a new clutch put in and recently I’ve had some issues with it. The current manager, Andrew, and Bill, the mechanic, have been amazing. They repeatedly worked through the issues and replaced parts that failed at no cost under the warranty as well as going the extra mile to make certain I would not have repeat issues. They both took the time to review the parts, show me the old ones they replaced, explain the issues and they were patient with questions (because I like to make sure I understand everything they’re doing). Was it inconvenient that I had to put my car back in? Yes, but these guys stand by their work and bent over backwards to get everything perfect and take the extra time to test everything. My car now drives better than it ever has and I’m able to enjoy my five speed transmission again.You might pay a bit more here. I’m sure you can price work out and find some cheaper options but you get what you pay for in most instances. The level of service here keeps me returning for both my general maintenance and and any other bits that crop up now my car is getting older.If you take the time to communicate clearly with these guys, you get the same in return. Top notch and consistent.

I had a great experience with this company. I stopped in to have one of my tires evaluated because it was losing air. I didn’t have an appointment but they took a look at my car right away. When they determined that there was a nail in the tire and reported that I would require a new tire, they suggested that I might have a tire warranty and that I should check into that before ordering a tire through them. If it hadn’t been for their suggestion, I would have forgotten that I actually did have a warranty. I appreciated their concern for me when they very easily could have sold me a new tire. Because of this honesty and their integrity, I did return and have them perform an oil change and replace an air filter for me. The service was remarkable, I saved over $40 from what the Infiniti dealership had quoted me, and the work was completed in less than one hour. The guys that I’ve dealt with (Vito & Pete) were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to my friends & family.

My husband got a flat tire while driving my car. He wanted to make sure he replaced the damaged tire with the same brand that was on the car, so he ordered a tire. We needed someone to mount the tire on the wheel. We tried a different tire place, but they refused because we did not buy the tire there. When we went to Tire Choice, we were greeted by Roger who was polite, friendly and helpful. We waited in the clean, comfortable waiting room and had our tire mounted, installed on the car and we were on our way in a half hour. I would definitely recommend Tire Choice in Palm Harbor to anyone looking for great service.

I spent the weekend cruising around Clearwater since Im from out of town. We stopped for dinner and i noticed a nail in my tire. Everything was closed except Tire Choice. I got in 30 minutes before close and they took my car in right away. The end result was the nail did not go through the tire and no leak was found. These guys acted quickly not because they were overloaded with cars and it was almost quitting time, they cared for the customer who was in a panic. Took the time out to explain the end result and even though they worked on my vehicle I was never charged. I even tried to pay but they would not allow it. I went to get an oil change with my 2 year old, was kinda nervous because i didnt want him to get bored( he did have a car) but the gentlemen at the counter was phenomenal. Anytime we talked he made sure my son had a smile. If you knew my son he will tell you he didnt like you. Brian F was extremely helpful. We came in for an oil change and he showed us everything else that was needing to be fixed as well, and provided us with a detailed package of what it would cost and what was highest priority in terms of needing to be fixed. He even recommended a tire choice credit line if we couldn’t afford to pay it all upfront.

Andrew is easily one of the best associates I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was very knowledgeable but was also easy to understand and communicate with. I had a key get stuck in one of my tires and required a new one because a patch wouldnt hold, without even knowing what another place had quoted me for a new tire he beat the price by almost 20% then explained the whole process in easy to understand terms that my mother who is not a car person could understand. Then after getting the new tire he helped make sure the proper air pressure was in all of my tires including my spare! Andrew has made myself and my family life long customers and I cannot thank him enough for his service!

My boyfriend and I got a flat thankfully very close to tire choice on 19. The manager Andrew was nothing but fantastic. We had difficulty taking the lug nuts off.. because Chrysler... so they put the spare tire on for us. And they didnt have the tire size in stock.. because again Chrysler.. and within the next day he had it ordered and shipped to the shop. Fantastic and fast customer service.

I know the days of trusting your mechanic and considering them a friend are long gone, but much to my pleasant surprise, i have found just that at this palm harbor tire choice. I trust them with all of my car care needs and they always give me an honest deal. I have recommended the place to my 81 year old mother and her friends. Anyone who has had a less than pleasant experience with a mechanic should go to tire choice and i always recommend them. Its a shame i was born so talentless when it comes to fixing cars but the manager Andrew W. and the entire staff have my complete trust admiration and respect. Amazing. I was expecting to pay in the 50 to 60 range for having my tires rotated and balanced, imagine my surprise when they charged me only 35!My truck was in need of balance, the tires are only a few 1000 miles in and were not balanced properly. After the employees at this Tire Choice balanced my tires it was discovered that they were all out by quite a bit. I was concerned that I might need a wheel alignment, but that wasnt the case at all. The tires just needed to be balanced properly and this station did just that. They just got a customer for life.Oh, and the fact that they respond to the poor reviews shows that they want to do right, most companies write that off as the cost of doing business.Thanks a lot gentleman, I will be back next time.

I went to Tires Choice, I was greeted by Kevin the manager. He handed my car off to Christian and Cody. Within minutes, Cody came in and explained the negative battery cable was loose. Normally I go into a place and they are trying to sell or push every service they can think of and they make it sound like you’d think my car was on its last leg ready to die.They did even take it a step further and checked out my tires. Pressure was a little low...they found a nail stuck in it so they checked all the others and found a screw in another. They save me there.The whole reason I came back was because driving by a few weeks ago it felt like my tire was wobbly so I stopped in their parking lot. A few of my lug nuts were loose so I got out the tire iron but it was the wrong size...I asked if I could borrow one and one of the guys was like...here, I’ve got a pneumatic and let me do it for you...zoom zoom done have a great day.Fabulous honest service.

This location is by far the best place to take your car whether your vehicle is new or old. John H. and Andrew in the front are the most honest mechanics we’ve ever met and they will never take advantage of you. They speak to you with the upmost respect and that’s not a common thing with mechanic shops. By far the best Tires Choice out of all the locations in the Tampa Bay Area. Will never go anywhere else.

I went to this Tire Choice location after receiving a coupon for an oil change. It was my first time there. Andrew took my information and then took my car in for the oil change. It was ready in a short time. Andrew gave me a detailed report about my car. He was not trying to sell me extra services. He did suggest a few things that I may need in the future. It was meant to be that I came into this tire choice. I was just getting a tire checked for a leak and they saw i had 3 badly worn tires! They explain ed everything I needed These guys are great. My daughter will be safe with all the driving she does. Very thankful I came in today.

Andrew and Brian were great. It was a very comfortable atomosphere and they really explained in-depth what I needed. My car issue was totally unexpected and they made my experience easy and stress free. I’ve been to other tire shops on 19 and nothing compares to Tire Choice. They even stayed late and made sure my car was complete.

Took my car to replace my tires i ended up getting a front end alignment as well as some great smelly stuff to clear my vents and an air filter i needed bc something was making a home in it. Joe was GREAT!HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM

Had my car inspected for the noise Im hearing by the wheels. Turns out nothing was wrong. The new tires most likely introduced this noise. The Mechanic was helpful and gave good advice about what to do next regarding the new tires.
