Amazing Staff and Friendly environment all around. Made me feel at home and well taken care of.. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Palm Harbor Auto. Highly recommend!
I loved everything about the shop! Roxane and Gary were amazing. They had such passion for their job that it translated into a great job! I Highly recommend the shop!
Moved here from OH. Found Palm Harbor Auto Services on line and thought Id give a local shop a try. So glad I did. Excellent service in a timely manner. Friendly, polite customer service. Cant go wrong here.
My experience at Palm Harbor Auto has always been pleasant. They are professional and helpful
Very good and nice people work there.
This auto shop is one of a kind. Ive had a slow leak in my Jeeps engine for years that became progressively worse, until I had to address it. Not only did the mechanic fix a crack on the valve cover gasket, but also had me come in 3 more times after that to address a different leak and did not charge me for time and labor of the second leak. Super thorough, knowledgeable and willing to work with their customers!!!! Highly recommend this place!
Service was good and friendly atmosphere nice and clean. I trust the work they do😀
Rude, dirty, terrible They fixed nothing I asked to get fixed. What they did “fix” I had to get fixed again somewhere else.
FANTASTIC, highly reputable shop!!! Wonderful people as well! I have been going there > 6 years and it was ALWAYS A+!!!
4 years going here. I know this business is tough, always willing to give the benefit of the doubt on an an older vehicle that may always need repairs, but multiple visits for the same issues, and still not fixed is unacceptable. I wasnt more than 2 miles from the shop today and the issue resurfaced after 2 visits to the shop to fix it. They are always down a mechanic, down 2 mechanics (Service writer and office managers own words) so always takes longer then expected. I referred a new neighbor and they had similar issues and told me they would not be back. We both have spent a bunch of money here willingly on older vehicles, but not any longer. One of the mechanics even told my wife we should junk my POS vehicle. Shes not a fan of my vehicle but she was even offended by the comment. I really wanted to like this shop, The owner nice and responsive, but they just cant seem to get the job done correctly or reliably :-( I recommend you go somewhere else for repairs, as I now have to do to get the vehicle repaired and running right AGAIN :-(
Excellent fast and friendly service! Thanks Palm Harbor Auto
Took a contract to provide a service and when it wasnt convient for them, they broke their word and their contract. Had me tow a vechile for 30 miles, called me and told me they would work on it. Then an elderly woman called me 5 minutes later and said I was out of luck in the rudest tone possible. Again, they signed a contract to provide this service. Most unprofessional shop I have ever encountered.
Owner great man knows what hes talking about and treats people with great respect.
This repair shop does quality work on the vehicles that they work on. I would highly suggest using this repair shop over any other repair shop in this area. Their employees are very nice and they really help you out with your vehicle.
Bill and all his crew do great work and come highly recommended especially if it is work on a classic
The Owner Bill is a perfectionist, he wants everything working right.
Ive owned many cars in my lifetime and many have needed repairs, but, Ive never had the displeasure of working with a mechanic shop like Palm Harbor auto.My sister-in-law drops off my 2004 Mercedes C230. It was running rough and stalling at lights.Im given an estimate of $1,002 and told it will take until Friday of the current week. Late Friday, I receive a call from Andy that they had completed the repair but couldnt get the car running and told me they would need another day, so it could be picked up Saturday. Instead, of being called to pick the car up, Andy calls me and says they dont have the tools to fix the car and that it would need to go to another shop.Yes. I brought in a car that was running rough, now have a $1,002 bill and a car that doesnt start at all. Their oh well attitude couldnt have been more stunning.Needless to say, I have the car towed to a repair shop about a mile up the road where they take a look at the car and within a short period of time call me back with a request for the original parts from my vehicle. I called Palm Harbor Auto only to be told, they were thrown out a couple of days ago. Pretty sure theyre required by Florida law to keep the parts until the vehicle has been paid for and picked up. Which, was NOT the case. The repair shop down the road notified me that the engine was blown and wanted me to come and look at the vehicle because they felt that Palm Harbor Auto damaged parts under the hood. So, if the engine was blown before they worked on it, why would they agree to work on it and charge me $1,002? If they didnt see any signs of the engine being blown, then the engine must have blown while they worked on it or when they were done working on it.Now, Im out $1,002, have a car that doesnt run and needs an engine repair for $4,900. Pretty smooth move Palm Harbor Auto. To think, I had my father in law come to you guys last year for $3,000 worth of repairs on his truck while he was here on vacation. Never again. Everyone I ever meet and discuss car repairs with will hear about my experience with Palm Harbor Auto, where I was clearly ripped off of $1,002. Sooner or later these practices will catch up to you.
Great shop. Honest mechanical services. Skilled & highly trained crew, likeable management & staff. Real old-school shop.
Wife and I have had our cars in there several times over the last few years. Never had a problem with them. They do quality work and Ive never had the price higher than what they quoted me. For an oil change or something simple I may go elsewhere and save a buck. But much more than that Ive become much more comfortable with these guys. Id recommend them.
Came very quick and was very helpful. I recommend these guys to everyone
This is the ONLY place I trust to work on my car. They are completely honest and explain the problem in a way I can understand. As a woman, I appreciate that they always talk to me and treat me with respect, never talk down to me. Prices are reasonable, about what you would pay anywhere else but less than the dealer. AAA certified so you get AAA discount if youre a member.
I had a problem with my car and pulled in without an appointment. The friendly service techs jumped right on it and got me back on the road quickly. Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail was highly appreciated! I cant say enough good things about this shop!
This repair shop has provided excellent service, prompt completion, and very reasonable rates both times that I have gone there. In the short time I was in the shop, two very satisfied long term customers came in. One had been a customer for over thirty years and drove in from Trinity where she lives just to have her car worked on there. Bill truly cares about his customers and it shows!
Always honest and trustworthy.
Very honest and trustworthy folks at PHAS. They follow up on their service and stand behind their work. They always explain everything clearly. I recommend them many times over. For a fair price and the work done correctly, this is a great choice.
Exceptional high quality service, And the price was awesome. Thank you!
Great local garage.
Anytime I thought something wasWrong with my vehicle..I took it here for evaluation...And even when Id be having some Sort of panic attack because of it..They always reassured me......I recently had my brakes fixedThere....shortly after repairsI received a phone call...Asking if I had any concerns or Questions about my service. And not to hesitate to call if I did. When my tire pressureLight comes on..I run there.I believe they are fairIn there quotes ...And theyve always workedWith my scheduling .Id go here...Before Id head to Audi..Million percent..Thank you.You saved the day again!Grateful.
Always take my car here. Great guys and awesome service.
Took a 1992 Mercedes 500SL in for a power steering leak and gearbox leak. Paid roughly $100 in parts and close to $1,000 in labor to replace the seal kits as that would fix the issue. Less than 50 miles later both were leaking again so it was recommended we replace the pump and gearbox so again, roughly $1,000 for labor plus the cost of certified rebuilt parts. The gearbox they put in didnt last 100 miles so it was removed by Lokey Mercedes and deemed to not be a rebuilt part. The part was brought back for credit and theyve done nothing. Now the power steering pump that was put in is leaking and has to be replaced and still, theyre offering no resolution other than bring it back to us. Who in their right mind would come back after an experience like this? When I asked for credit the representative laughed and said she was done talking to me. I will never use this shop again, not what I expected from them but its what I got.
They over charge for crappie work! I recently paid $1300 for a brake job on my 2006 dodge ram. The brakes squeak and squeal worse now than before it got fixed. When I asked them about it they said that they had put the cheap brakes on. Then wanted to charge me more money to fix it after just having the job done the day before. I have brought plenty of vehicles to them for repairs and spent thousands of dollars on repairs that should have cost half as much. Never did I once feel like a valuable customer. It was only until recently that I had spoken with some much more honest mechanics that told just how badly I was being wronged. I urge everyone to stay away from Palm Harbor Auto Service!
Needed a new master cylinder on my father’s Honda Civic. I researched the cost of the part, and asked for a fairer price than the high markup they initially quoted me. They came down in price, only then to replace the calipers without informing me, which drove the cost back up. When I protested, the owner behaved like a bully, and told me I should have known it would be a bigger and more expensive repair. I left feeling terrible. The next day, the car broke down on U.S. 19 when the rods clamped the brakes shut. At high speed, it was very dangerous. We towed the car back to the garage and they fixed it - without any apologies or remorse that, due to their error, we could have been in a fatal accident. Untrustworthy, mean-spirited, and incompetent.
Awesome people to work with. Very honest and trust worthy. So glad my brother in law recommended. Would not go any where else.
Took my jeep to get a lifter fixed, after the diagnosis they said I needed a whole new engine and wanted to charge me 3-4 thousand. I told them that I was a mechanic in the Army and knew it was the lifter. They then charged me 321.00 for a diagnostic and broke my pcv valve and didnt tell me. Tried to get them to pay me for the pcv valve but apparently owner was on vacation I left my number and he or she never called me back. As soon as I left I took my Jeep straight to the Jeep dealer and they fixed my lifter for 700 and replaced the pcv valve that they broke. Palm Harbor auto told me that another Jeep came in with the same problem and they had to replace the engine so they made money off of them. Horrible place never go there.
Great place to get ur vehicle serviced. They dont pressure you on getting stuff done that doesnt need to be done. They just let you know if something needs to be done.
Just had my AC repaired, works great now . Only took about 1 hour and I am cool again .
Great Guys, I’ll be back, Bill and crew are the best! Thanks Bill for being a local successful small business!
Good service, quick service. Billing had errors. Check your bill carefully!
Since the previous owner stepped down the shop has gone down horribly. I would give negative stars if possible!! They told me I needed to replace my whole engine when I just needed a part no bigger than my pinky!!! They are rude and will steal your hard earned money!
Great service, and great work. I highly recommend this place.
Dont go here. The owner was disrespectful of his staff and customers. I had a horrible experience and had to take my car elsewhere after they fixed it. Also said I needed new tires when I just purchased brand new ones in September. Seemed like they were looking to nickle and dime me, but not fix the problem I came to have addressed.
We have been long time customers of PHAS.....recently, we purchased new cars and both are under warranty. We do believe in having those warranties covered by the dealers.....We have had such good experiences with PHAS, its almost a shame that our relationship with these folks has to come to an end....at least for the foreseeable future. Close to our home and eager to drop what they are doing to help with things such as blown out bulbs, or nails in tires, this was our repair shop.We wish them all the best....
Disrespectful, Dirty, and overrated.Bill Coleman, owner of Palm Harbor Auto, is extremely disrespectful to his customers and staff. Rats crawling around the shop and found that i was not treated as a well paying customer. Dirty shop and dirty boss... I do not recommend this disgrace of a shop to anyone.
Fixed van brakes great job reasonably priced
Bill and his team know how to take care of their customers.
Honest, reasonable, super friendly and always willing to help!!
The old Bait n Switch . After going to 3 other shops for estimate they all said i needed a Tie rod. PHAS was the best price. Told me $120 to put in a tie rod end. once they started work they decides more work needed to be done at a cost of $800. I asked them to just put in the tie rod and they said it would do no good. I told them i couldnt afford the $800 so they charged me $60 to get my keys back! I almost didnt make it home, its 10X worse now, unsafe to drive. WTF Its hard to find a trusted mechanic anymore.
Not sure how they get any business with the way they speak to people and they definitely dont believe in doing the right thing. Extremely unprofessional.
Excellent Repair Shop!
Great place
Great service. Very professional.
Fixed my tire without a problem. Friendly people
Great work fair price HONEST!!!!
