The office manager is knowledgeable and so kind. My dental hygienist was attentive to areas of sensitivity and so gentle with the cleaning, and offered advice regarding products to helo treat the sensitivity. Great staff and experience. :)

After performing a check up my gums and teeth, the dentist said they were in perfect condition. Yet the hygienist decided to do a deep gum cleaning. Was not advised it wasn’t covered by my insurance. They performed x-rays that weren’t covered by my insurance. A lot of ups selling. Did not like that at all.

The office is VERY clean & set up for social distancing between patients. Masks are mandatory to enter building, of course. The facility smells of antiseptic, which I, personally, find pleasing & reassuring. The staff is excellent, kind, caring & efficient, as well as knowledgeable in assisting patients to get the dental care that they need with multiple avenues of financial assistance available to them. The office has its own lab set up, so theres no waiting weeks for your dentures, partials, permanent/composite teeth, etc. They also offer in site & home teeth whitening services/kits. They have excellent top of the line medical equipment, that is neatly hidden away in cupboards, away from patients, with no accident waiting to happen or clutter. They have an ultrasound machine that gives the doctor the instantaneous results that are on par with MRI results of your teeths condition & gives the doctor an excellent idea of a treatment plan for each individual patient, & if youre a candidate for implants or not. Dr. Trejos is an excellent physician. She is very kind, caring, solicitous & up to date with most recent dental procedures, both basic & advanced. They treat the entire family. The staff that assists her uses the numbing paste in your mouth before any injections, so as to limit your pain before she injects the numbing meds. Most dentists dont offer that anymore. At least not the ones that Ive been to lately, which is definitely a plus, especially if youre afraid of needles or pain. Regardless of the pretreatment, Dr. Trejos is very gentle in administering the injection. IMO, it doesnt even hurt. She is efficient & takes her time, to get done what needs to be done for your best oral health care, as possible. She explains all of your problems, if any, & the available treatment options unique to your situation. Id bring my animals there, if they took them, as patients. Thats how highly I recommend this practice. They offer a variety of procedures in dentistry from basic dental care to advanced invasive procedures. Office hours are great & appointment availability is convenient & wait time is negligible. 10 star rating if available.

This place is a ripoff, they systematically overcharge you for services rendered and go above the contracted amount with the insurer! I’ve called Kayla and was promised a follow up that never happened and I called today to inquire and was intentionally left on hold because they closed in a matter of minutes which I didn’t realize until after I was left on hold for 7 mins! I will try and call them Monday and see how it goes from there!

I went to Dr.Patel for a second opinion and he recommended implants instead of a bridge that my previous dentist suggested. He started to work on my teeth the end of January. He is vey professional and explains the process thoroughly. He custom designed implants, abutments and crowns for me to get the best results. The whole process was completed in June. I am extremely happy with my smile and the time it took to complete the work. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff.

Ended up switching, I had a root canal done that failed sadly, needed tooth pulled which is find and understandable, however I had a cavity and could not afford to get my tooth pulled due to the abscess at the time and wanted a second look at it as well to see if it could be saved by another doctor, I called in to advise the front because I had an appointment two days out but the two ladies (not heather cause she quit) up front are beyond rude, the one who has the tattoos I forgot her name because she has no idea what she is doing and half the time needed heather to fix the issues, and couldnt even properly charge me always ended up paying up to a couple hundred more Dr.Patel is a good doctor and very friendly but the front end staff has made me switch she told me I could not have my cavity filled that day now because they wont have enough time, yet they could fill it if I got my tooth pulled(like what?) so due to the on going issues with the front end staff lady it was just time to switch I only recommend it in the fact that Dr.Patel is good dentist but is quick to pull teeth so you should get a second look( I ended up having my tooth saved by Dr.Thousand in palm coast) and as for the front end they need to be let go and replaced no common sense.

This has been a very good experience for me. Dr Patel is a very competent dentist. In addition hes pleasant, courteous and takes time to make his patients feel at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family members and friends.

I loved this dentist office. The reception area is pretty, clean, and smells nice. The ladies up front are soft spoken, helpful, and incredibly sweet. The dental hygienist made you feel like you were talking to a friend. She explained everything in detail in a way you easily understand. She was absolutely wonderful!! And Dr. Patel was soft spoken, quick, and joked around with my son. We have finally found the perfect dentist office for our family. I highly recommend them.

First, I want to start off with saying that I have crazy anxiety about going to the dentist. I was extra nervous because it had been a while since I’ve been. The staff here is very welcoming, professional and kind! Turns out I didn’t have to be nervous at all!

Multiple levels of problems here revolving around lack of communication.Have gone multiple rounds to get admin staff to correctly bill insurance company. Four months now and still not resolved. Service provided was crown - which cracked in less than two months. I am now under the care of another dentist. Wasnt going to post until unpleasant encounter with staff member regarding bill and their failure to submit billing properly threw me over the edge.Heres hope you have a better experience.

Ive never been a fan of Dentists. Ive done pretty well at avoiding them until I married a girl that forced me to go. Im glad she did as it has changed my view of dentists. She, as well as the rest of my family recommended this place. You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The decor is upscale and not bland like your typical doctor/dentist office. The positive upbeat vibes between the staff was also reassuring. The dentist had a sense of humor which made me feel comfortable as well. I had to get a crown done and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way during the procedure. I highly recommend this dentist and his staff

Great experience. Going to this Dentist is like going to grandma’s house. Everyone is always so pleasant and everyone in the office speaks to you with a smile. I have had nothing but good experiences at this office. The dentist is very thorough and extremely good at handling the patients needs with the ability of helping you conserve your money. I honestly feel like he is there for the patient and not his wallet as most dentist I have gone to. Dr .Petal and Staff is amazing group of people . I had to get some really important work done on my teeth, and so glad I choose them . Day of surgery they went over everything again with me . I had trouble with my back tooth was deeply rooted so the doctor took his time with me . He was wonderful and understanding. I highly recommend Dr.Petal . He will be my new dentist.

This place is amazing, after moving to the area I was nervous about finding a new dentist I could trust, after going to this office all worries went away! ALL staff is so friendly, the dentist is great, down to earth and actually listens to your concerns, turned out I needed a quick fix the day after I was in, called the next morning and they got me right in! (With none of the huffing and aggravation I received from my old dentist office) office is clean and current!

Ive had the privilege of being treated by great hygienists before, but Sonbol, their dental hygienist, is absolutely wonderful! It was the most comfortable, pain free cleaning Ive ever experienced. Dr. Ryan was my dentist when I went there, and he literally traumatized me. He is the WORST dentist I have EVER been to. What an insensitive creep! He hurts, hes not friendly and he had me so afraid of him that I did not go back. He pulled a bunch of my teeth instead of trying to save them and I was humiliated by him after he hurt me several times and I told him that he was hurting me. If they set you up with Dr. Ryan, I suggest you make an appointment elsewhere. The lady who was at the front desk when I was there wasnt very friendly either (the blonde one.)

DO NOT GO THIS DENTIST!!! Even 1 star is still too high a rating. Had some fillings done a while back and soon after only to find out that these simple fillings were leaking and not bonded correctly. Ive had to switch dentists and spend so much money just to get them done right. I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone even if his services were done for FREE and even if my life depended on it.

Prices to high, $120.00 for a regular cleaning. Also seen some unsanitary things that were disturbing. Example dirty sink, dirty xray covering, bathroom and sat in dental chair for a long period of time.

Went there because he’s on my PPO. The girl did X-rays and measurements. Then proceeds to tell me I need stuff done that insurance won’t cover. Charged me a oral instruction fee of $55 for saying I need an electric toothbrush which insurance won’t cover. Also put medicine under my gums that insurance doesn’t cover. Did a procedure that I can only get once in a lifetime that insurance did pay for because they needed to do something today. Proceeded to schedule a cleaning which insurance won’t cover for at least 31 days after the other procedure that was done and said I have to pay a deductible and 80% next visit. Needless to say I’ve filed grievances and will not be returning. I’m not stupid and have never been so ripped off in my life.

On February 26th I called the office due to sever pain on my back bottom right tooth. Tooth 31. Tami was very efficient getting all my information to get the appointment set. Tami also got me a 8.30 Appt for the 28th. After completing the paperwork I was greeted and taken to the back by Denise. After x-rays I was introduced to Dr. Patel. The best treatment option was a root canal and cap. I was amazed that they could even save this tooth... Denise and Dr. Patel explained what they would be doing and why they needed to do it. They went over the whole procedure making sure I was comfortable. Now here comes the best part... Not only were they starting the root canal today but they actually build your cap and FINISH the procedure in ONE day. I was amazed!! This was great for me because of my busy work schedule. Denise was awesome from start to finish. She stayed by my side for 4 hours to ensure I was taken care of. The whole staff was very professional and respectful. Best dentist experience ever! I will be coming back..

I have been in palmcoast for 6 years, and this is the first dentist Ive been to, that got me in a d out, built my crown right in office. I have found me a new dentist and I have been raving about him every since.

I found Dr. Patel on the Careington website. When I called to make an appointment I was told the price for a full mouth exam including xrays would be $79. On the day of the appointment I presented them with my temporary Careington card and was told that the full mouth exam at $79 was cheaper than what Careington offers. I couldnt look it up for myself as I didnt have cell service, so I took their word for it. When I was brought back to the exam room Dr. Patel said he would only be examining one tooth because that was the tooth I am having an issue with, he checked ONE tooth and took ONE xray. After the exam I asked the front desk about the rest of the exam and xrays I was owed. I was told that they would check the rest of my teeth and do the rest of the xrays after they fixed the tooth I was having issues with (tooth # 15). They said that I wouldnt have to pay for any more xrays or pay for a complete mouth exam later because they were included in the $79 that I paid for at that visit.(image1) Its wasnt until I got home that I noticed I was tricked. The receipt ONLY refers to 1 tooth (#15) and mentions nothing about a full mouth exam with xrays or owing me the rest of the exam or xrays.(image 2)Upon further inspection I noticed Dr. Patel was charging more than what Careington lists as the prices so I called Careington and that was confirmed to me.When I called Dr. Patels office to tell them they over charged me and the receipt doesnt mention anything about owing me the rest of the exam and xrays. They offered me a credit of $49 toward future dental work with Dr. Patel. I told them that I dont feel comfortable using Dr. Patel, seeing as he already tricked me and I requested that the $49 credit be put back on my credit card. I was told Id have to come in person so they could do this.However, when I got there instead of being presented with a $49 credit on my credit card, I was presented with a NEW receipt (image 3). As you can see they changed the codes to reflect Careingtons fee schedule AND ADDED and NEW code for a service that wasnt even performed.Clearly, Im disgusted with their practice. I want the $49 credit on my credit card and Im disgusted with Careington for using dentist that do not abide by their pricing and then proceed to make up new charges to try to justify themselves. I will be canceling membership with Careington and letting everyone know what a schemer Dr. Patel is. Its pathetic that Dr. Patel has gone as far as changing my receipt (committing FRAUD) just to keep $49.
