I arrive on Friday with my wife and son to spend the weekend at this place. We are supposed to stay until Sunday. We are charged $280 per night on our stay. Once we get to the so called Resort it turns out the Lobby and main entrance are under construction. We access the resort through a side entrance, no valet service, no access ramp.We check in, we go to our room (which was around a 1/2 mile walk anywhere in the resort), I give the staff that helped us with our bags a 20$ bill. Half an hour later, he would not even offer to help my wife struggling with a 9 month old baby and the stroller to the car (remember, no access ramp). We asked a golf staff member directions to a playground we saw on our way in, his answer was I do not know what you are talking about.There was only a 6 table restaurant (the former pro shop) open during the hotel remodel, food was bad and expensive, and service was mediocre at best. (12$ for a latte and an Arnold Palmer, 30$ for a waffle and a cream cheese bagel). Also the nearest restroom was located a good 5-7 minute walk from the so called restaurantOn Saturday, I am going to play golf, I ask a staff member of the golf side for a towel to use during the round. His answer was Because of Covid, I cannot give you a towel. Really? because of Covid? Not a single employee was wearing a mask during our entire stay, and they come up with Because of Covid I cannot give you a towel.Saturday morning I find out the hotel is not offering room service either.My wife complains that the construction noise is really disturbing at the pool, so we decided to leave for home on Saturday around 2-3 PM instead of staying another night. When we get to the front desk to explain that we are leaving, the first words to come out of the hotel staff member by the name of Bill were We are still going to charge you for tonights stay. He offers to have the resort manager call me on Monday, a call that was never received even after I called him 3 times during Monday and left 2 voice mails.In other words, this resort is charging 280$ dollar+ fees/night for a place with- No restaurants- No bars- No room service- No valet service- Construction noise (Once we arrived we were told they have workers starting saturday and sunday at 8 am as well).I feel scammed by these guys and wish I had never arrived at this placeDO NOT STAY IN PGA NATIONAL, it is a complete scam.

Nice resort, Great staff (Especially the ladies that are working the bar that has been relocated to the old pro shop.) They were so Great and so helpful since it had been a while since we were there. What a Great Staff

This place was beautiful, the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because at night the A/C stopped working and it was 80F and it was very difficult for me to sleep, when we called maintenance to come and fix it, they weren’t successful and they said the only thing they could do was move us to a different room even tho it was 3am. Everything else was amazing the shower gave a lot of water and you’re able to control the flow of it. The workers here were very helpful and nice, the live music was beautiful and just the overall vibe of everyone and everything was chill, This is by far the best resort I’ve stayed in, minus the A/C. I’m sure if I return I wouldn’t have that problem again.

What an amazing golf course!!! Had So much fun. Service of course top notch and friendly. Every part of the course was absolutely a joy but very challenging. The greens !!, Wow great shape, perfectly maintained. The bear claw took some of balls.. bring a few extra.

Fantastic, even while under construction!I was a little hesitant about booking because I had read a few bad reviews about it while under construction....All I can say is I have no idea what people are complaining about.The pool is fantastic... one of the best I have visited in a long time. Food choices are from a smallish menu, but still enough and really good.And the customer service was outstanding. Every one we met was very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond.We didn’t use any of the golf facilities, because we were in town for a Dave Matthews concert.Bottom line, we will be back again.We rarely heard the construction.... only a little because we were on the first floor, and ONLY when we walked right up next to it. (Which is not even next to the facilities or guest rooms, just near one of the doors as we exited the building.)And for the guest that complained about the pool and music... they must like to complain. We actually preferred the “no music” during the morning visit. And then there was a DJ that started around 12. We were there on the weekend, so maybe it’s only on then and not during the week. Either way, it’s such a great pool, with the sounds of a waterfall, I don’t understand how someone could have possibly complained.I highly recommend it!

Visited the spa last Sunday. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Locker rooms and lounge area were clean and quiet. Unfortunately mineral pools had some debris which took away from their relaxing appeal and there was no food or drink service pool side. That being said, the area was calm and serene as it is only open to spa guests. There were also no frills including refreshments like at some of the other local resort spas. Not even a bottle of water after our treatments which was a little surprising. Overall, customer service was the best part of this spa with Frederique having a magic touch for an excellent facial ☺️

To be fair, they are currently under construction. So it doesnt look anything like the website. Only 1 restaurant is open, no real snack bar even. No room service. Most amenities arent open. room was fine but floor is uneven. Which is fine but weird. Maybe try after renovations.

Just became a member today and cant wait to put the membership to good use, golf, tennis, spa, restaurants, club house, etc... staff are all very friendly and willing to help in any manner. Great amenities and revisions finishing up yhe next few months.

Staff is rude, construction going on everywhere, and they don’t even have all of their amenities open. The rooms are nice, but have no microwave and a fridge that barely keeps things cool. They are also completely unwilling to accommodate guests and become offended when asked questions.It’s shocking that this is a PGA resort. It’s run like a Red Roof Inn.

What an amazing resort! All the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff at Bar91 provided great service too. The food was great and not overpriced. Will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately they’ve gone downhill. I used to love it here! I expected some changes due to Covid but they don’t even offer cold water. When I walked up to the desk to inquire about water I was given a bottle from off the table in the back. It’s 90 degrees out. There is a hotel attached to the spa and no one can get ice? Also a heads up on the fact that there would be no food and beverage would have been really helpful. I would have gladly packed my own knowing renovations were coming and there was no service.

The Spa at PGA National Resort is beautiful and they offer wonderful services. Today I had the Glow facial, 80 minute classic massage, and stress relief pedicure, as well as a dip in the mineral pools. I was very disappointed that the steam room, dry sauna, and whirlpool hot tub were closed. I wish they would have let me know ahead of time or decreased the prices/offered a discount. The restaurants are also closed so I was unable to eat from 10am-4:30pm due to the closures. I was slightly disappointed after paying $500, but overall still had a very relaxing day.

Not a 4 star resort anymore..i would not recommend this resort to anyone. I made my reservation a few weeks prior to arrival. I asked for a pool view and in the ground floor. Was told not a problem. I also asked for an early check in since we were going to be at the PGA spa earlier. I called the the morning of arrival and was told by front desk early check in was not a problem. When we finished our SPA it was 3pm. I called the front desk to confirm and was told any minute it will be ready. We then went to check in at 4pm. Room was still not available. Once we got our room we went to the room to find out it was not a pool view, and more importantly, Not on the ground floor. Very disappointing. I was told by front desk, Sorry no rooms were available. They were sold out. The resorts accommodation were not up to par from my previous visits. No room service, no lobby, no restaurant. Under construction. Old proshop at end of property was converted to a make shift restaurant/bar. Staff was doing their best, but due to the property conditions not much they could do. The entire hotel was overtaken by minor league baseball teams. 100s of kids running around the hotel at late hours. To top it all off, a 2 year old baby was found on Saturday at 4pm wondering the halls on a 3rd floor with no parents. The infant was with the hotel staff at the front desk and had no clue what to do for at least 45 minutes. No official were called. The intoxicated parent finally showed up and the staff just gave the child back to the parents. Not a good decision. I have been to PGA resort many many times and never saw the property in this bad of shape. No manager on the property when I went to talk to them. I was given there email address and told to email my complaint. This resort should not be called a resort at this time, but more like a motel. Very, very disappointed in my stay and accommodations. The money spent was not worth the accommodation. When I was making my reservations, was never told about all the amenities being closed. Very disappointing.

PGA is an amazing resort. The food was great, the people were awesome and indeed the facilities were well attended to. In fact Id revisit there today. Beautiful place I tell you, oh! and not to mention the lovely golf course they have there.

Coming back to edit my review. Bill called and helped me fully resolve my front desk / billing issue. The manicure / pedicure I received was great. My technician spent a lot of time cleaning up my nails, and 2 weeks later they still look great. Glad that my billing issue was resolved, I feel much better about my overall experience.

Best resort Ive been to, hands down! Staff and other guests were really friendly. Loved the decor, its very retro and the room was updated.

My party and I were disappointed we were not told there would be construction during our stay and that due to this, only one restaurant would be open. The construction noise was not an issue but many areas of the hotel were closed. Bar91s food was delicious. But, why was there no coffee available after lunch anywhere in the whole hotel? And Bar91 refused to make new. There was a pot left over from the morning. Yuk. The room was beautiful but amenities are less. Gone are the days where hotels supply all the amenities you need. Bring body lotion, face pads, Q-tips, any incidentals you need. No valet due to covid--why? No water presented to guests upon arrival or upon leaving. Everything is out of pocket. We are in a new era due to covid.

The newly renovated rooms are really nice and beautifully decorated. I had an issue and the manager (Bill?) went above and beyond to help.For that reason I’m giving a 5-Star.

The only reason I came to Florida for the weekend was for the spa experience. I’ve been many times before, and usually it’s very relaxing with great service. However, I was surprised to find that the spa cafe was not open, no pool attendants, and no amenities. They did not warn me of this on the phone when I booked, and there is nothing on their website. What was most appalling was management’s lack of care and unwillingness to take responsibility. Try Eau or Jupiter Beach Resort instead and just go to pga for the golf. This is not 4 star anymore.

Relaxing place to spend the day, I was in the pool for 2 hours having a small bottle of complementary champagne from the place, then I went to my facial massage, the massage was like anywhere else, but it is good place to relax all day

Nice pool and spa areas! Customer server did not appear to be a priority, as they appear to be leaning on their name and event history to refill their pockets. Room was very aged and had ceiling falling down in spots. Housekeeping was not avail during 4day, 3 night stay, without prior day scheduling, and then they still did not show up for a refresh. Renovations are on going and are much needed, but until completed would not recommend. Even then service and customer focus could be improved for off season customers.

We had a great trip at PGA in December! There was a little issue with our reservation but they made it right and put us in a suite. We have been coming to PGA since 2009 and it feels like home to us. We had such a great trip we are coming back in May. I hope some of the renovations are done by then. 😬😬

Positive: Very nice & clean hotel! The staff members were exceptional to deal with! Negative: I paid extra for a pool view and they put me on the ground level and there wasn¿t any view of the pool. I had a view of the gate of the pool. That was very disappointing!

Had its up an downs...alot of construction going on and unnecessary motorized landscaping starting at atleast 630am every dang day made it hard to sleep in.....the golf course was amazing!!! the pool was nice and gym had what I needed....

Bought my wife a $300 gift certificate for Spa services. After 2 weeks it still has not arrived. (we live 15 minutes away). Multiple unsuccessful calls to try to talk to a human for assistance. Nothing but elevator music and suggestions to use the website. Hint for PGA National: a website is not a substitute for actual customer service........especially in your industry.UPDATE: Finally had no choice but to go in person to rectify situation. It is obvious that due to staffing shortages (blamed on COVID-19) PGA Spa took my money, but never sent the gift card. After standing firm, I received a replacement card. (The AWOL card is now appropriately …deactivated wherever it is). Interestingly the Manager on duty blamed the PB Gardens Post Office as being notoriously slow and told me I should have selected FEDEX delivery rather than mail. BTW, before you schedule a Spa day, I recommend you call and ask if all the CONEX, boxes, trailers, construction equipment and rolling stock (that loudly beep when backing up) have been removed from the north side of the Spa after the Honda Classic..... unless you want the World of Waters to sound like a construction zone. You can bet they will not volunteer this info. I received a message (via reply to this review) to call the Management, which I will do. I still have received no response(s) to emails submitted via their website.....though I do find it interesting that Management will respond (apparently only) when a negative review is submitted for all to see online via a third party such as Google......FINAL UPDATE: Spoke with the Resort GM today, who was kind enough to reach out, mitigating the poor communication and poor service I initially reviewed. Thanks Bill.

Positive: The customer service here is amazing. The room was better than expected. the front desk manager checked us in. She took care of us and treated us so very well. What a fantastic treat to stay here for my birthday celebration. We WILL be back! Negative: Hard to find a problem here. This place was clean, well run and the customer service was outstanding!

For an expensive place I was expecting more from the PGA Resort. The place seemed old. The stairways were all concrete and we saw plywood covering up a hole in the wall which made this place seem so old and not like what you would expect from a resort.

For a high end luxurious and beautiful, yet comfortable and homey spa with amazing amenities and 3 different soak pools, one is the Dead Sea, you can spend all day and enjoy lunch but lets be honest the services have always been impeccable, my last being a neuromuscular massage, AMAZING!! Definitely a good place to go if you want to pamper yourself!

I stayed at the PGA for 4 months and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Front desk staff is very attentive and helpful. The gym which is located outside, is state of the art and has a great protocol to prevent Covid-19 from spreading.

How could you not love this place. Located in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens Florida I mean everything in this area is beautiful.

I would not recommend this establishment. I booked a stay for a one night get away and was given an uncleaned room not once but twice. When going back to the front desk the night shift manager Nick was very unapologetic and quite frankly a bit rude. The lack of concern about the situation was very distasteful. Very disappointed

This place is so beautiful. The halls are quiet so if your having a party keep it down because you will get a noise complaint. We stayed on the side with a balcony but you may want to ask for a pool side balcony view, because our view was of the parking lot.Pool- is currently opened on our stay 8/22, they have a kiddie pool and jacuzzi closed at 6pm but the outside area can still be enjoyedRoom- was nice and clean refrigerator but no microwave, they have a microwave in the lobbyFood- all the restaurants have limited hoursParking- they have Valet parking or be prepared for a good walk from the parking lot up a little hill.Golf course- is very nice

If any one is looking for great deals for hotel rooms head to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort on there and they had the absolute best prices any where!Excellent! It has been one of my favorite places for many years. In spite of the Limitations due to COVID They did a great job.

Most of the courses are closed as well as the restaurants. We made a reservation at a restaurant that is now closed and they did not even have the courtesy to tell us so we can make alternate plans. I guess they did the honda classic and do not care the rest of the year.

Pools not too clean. Pool attendant is too focused on tip. He comes to see you only when is time for you to leave.

Golf factory. Very expensive!!! Champions course great test. Cart path only on champions from december till tournament a little crazy.

Not happy at all. Took at least 20 minutes for someone to come to desk to check inn. Hallways had red tape holding carpet together as we were approaching our Suite. Refrigerator didn’t work, sliding door to balcony was squeaking, and woke up to bed bug bites. Took me 2 days before I was even able to reach someone about the bed bug bites just to be told that I booked through a third party and take it up with them even though I paid the hotel directly. Will never stay again just to leave with possibility of bringing bugs home and Hotel not even wanting to address or make right their wrong.

We are absolutely thrilled with the level of service we received at the Spa. Clean facilities, Covid safe, and relaxing environment. Cecilia, Wendy, Jeff, Sylvia, Nancy and Alex made us feel so welcomed. Sylvia provided the best massage I have ever had! Highly recommended!

Awful. No coffee served with breakfast. A/C thermostats have been purposely calibrated incorrectly. Very unfriendly staff.

Food is just ok, bar service is good and remember they automatically add the gratuity! They are remodeling now!

My review is limited to the Honda Classic event that is being held here every year. The golf grounds, as expected, were kept in immaculate shape. The holes are well marked and easy to follow. Despite being the last day of the tournament, there was enough space for the crowds to move about following their favorite golfers. It was a perfect day for golf.

A mere shadow of its former self. Much was closed due to Covid and remodeling. But there was no commensurate room rate discount. Our company dinner was steak and lobster served outside. The evening was nice, the food was barely warm and tasteless. The steak was overcooked (we were not asked how we wanted it cooked) and dry (did I mention tasteless?). The lobster was a little undercooked and slimy. No butter was served. We were not offered a choice of wines. There was a red and a white. The red tasted like a sugary fruit bomb. The dessert was forgettable.The room was fairly nice. Spacious, with a nice sitting area, ceiling fan, and good lighting. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was spacious.One would expect them to go overboard to impress the brave few still traveling during Covid. They did not. In fact, they didnt seem to care.

This is just regarding the staff for reservations over the phone. They are extremely rude and unhelpful. The experience made me want to book a different hotel.

Worked the honda clasic. Always a fun time.

We had booked this vacation for a fun week in Florida. We had shown up only to realize that they were booking the pool in four hour sessions due to covid. I realize this is a necessary precaution, how’s ever it was never posted on the website or in the confirmation email, so the first two days we were there the pool was booked out and we couldn’t use. We then booked the last session of four hours for the remaining dayS, only to then be told it was only a three hour session. There were many people walking around the resort without masks on, not one employee made people out there mask on even though they claimed to want to be “a masking zone”. The room we stayed in was fairly nice but we had to be delivered 3 sets of sheets because each one came up with beard shavings all over it. We had requested to talk to someone about our stay, and were told we would get a call back 5 days ago and still haven’t heard anything. Poor taste in our mouth from this resort and not worth the money.

I will never come back to this place. The staff at SPA are not nice at all. Especially the manager. Not being professional at all. Bad service. Also very overpriced. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to other people.

Golf course is in good shape but sandy greens due to maintenance. Disappointed no score cards or coolers used due to virus. But you can use the touch screen to keep your score. How is that better than score card use?!

Pga National Resort provide excellent customer service, Specially General Manager. All Stuff are nice.We highly recommended this place for play Golf and spend time with family.Pga National Resort use us last few years and hope we will in future.We wish best of luck with new face of PGA National Resort.

Positive: Golf course was very good Negative: Rooms and overall building were dated and layouts was spread out and no real Restuarants on property. Golf course I was scheduled on was changed and pro shop wanted to charge me $446 when price for golf on Palmer was suppose to be $200.

Nice place clean restrooms. Nice paper hand towels. Very spacious conference rooms. Went for a conference there . Could not stay as they were full. The conference food was tasty and nice but the information lacked details of ingredients used to prepare each food item. Especially if you are a vegetarian then ingredients used gets to be very important.

Totally totally LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! My team and I attend a conference here and boy am I glad we did! The Med Spa Growth & Profitability Conference was very informative and if you’re in the Spa business you should definitely reach out they can help.The employees of PGA National Resort & Spa were THE BEST PART!! They are so kind, attentive and caring. Aaron, Doug & Ms Lorna to name a few were amazing!!! There were so many amazing people I couldn’t keep up with the names. The customer service and classy feel of this place entices me to return soon for a weekend to relax. Each meals presentation and taste were perfect! I really enjoyed myself and look forward to returning on a personal level to enjoy the amenities.Last but certainly not least there’s the bar 😍 beautiful live music in the evening and bartenders and servers were ready and skilled! Went here for a one night staycation with the husband and it made us feel like paradise in the mist of all this horrible day to day crazy. We felt like we were some where else. Staff helped us and were very nice from moment we arrived, very clean and kept CDC guidelines! Wish I was there right now

I’m really in love with this place. It’s my second time going in a month and I feel like I can write a proper review. Both ladies who have done my massages were incredible. The last massage I had (Angela) was probably the best massage I have ever had in my life. The amenities are fantastic! If you book any spa service, you get access to their pools, saunas, steam room etc. for the whole day. If it’s raining and you can’t use the pool, they will give you a rain check to come back during the week to use them. There is poolside service for food and drinks, and George will make you feel so comfortable by the pool by setting up all the towels and getting you sunscreen and water. I heard that the facilities were going to be closed down next year for remodel and I’m so bummed because I actually like the way they look now (some things could be updated, but seriously the place feels so relaxing the way it is!) The one thing I wish is that they could give me a better idea on what a membership for the Spa is versus having to call the PGA Membership services because I just want a membership for the spa and that’s it.I can’t wait to go back and be pampered again. The entire staff is friendly and helpful!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway. Seeing as pga resort also had a spa, we expected a quality experience that would lead to further weekends being spent at this resort in the future. However given the awful experience we had we don’t think we will ever be back. The air conditioning, in the middle of summer in South Florida nonetheless, was not working. This occurred not just for a couple of hours but both nights of our stay. When speaking with the front desk about this, they were completely unapologetic and really did not seem to care. We were told the part would be there by 9:30 that night and wound up leaving the resort at 11 seeing as still at this time our room was 79 degrees. Additionally when being refunded the resort fee due to this issue, they failed to refund the resort fee and instead double charged the resort fee. The frustration with the way the situation was handled just added to a poor quality experience that may have been compensated for by a professional, apologetic staff.

Was here for a golf event. Not only did I see guests but I saw multiple employees not wearing masks during my stay. Social distancing was nonexistent, there’s people indoors all over without masks. Employees and staff was not enforcing this at all which is great concern to me considering the fact that people from all over the world come to this resort. I called the counties hotline for businesses that were violating their Covid rules, hopefully something will be done about this. I can’t imagine it’s been better but I can only know that it’s going to get worse.

I am currently in the waiting area to have a service in the spa. One employee after the other from the front service desk, several techs and cleaning staff... one cannot be nicer, more helpful than the next!!!!If my massage/ change of polish is half as fantastic as their service so far.... I’ll be happyThank you

Went here for the Honda Classic, which is a great venue...I hope they dont change this. The grounds are well kept and the event was well managed and went well. Parking and transportation was excellent and ran smooth and quickly. Security was good, but not too crazy. There were plenty of seats and refreshment stops all around. The sponsors and vendors were good, and provided extra fun for everyone. The layout of this course is spectacular and there are adequate trees, providing shade for weary spectators. It was a great golf event, I got to see some of my favorite players up close and made more amazing by this wonderful venue. The weather was excellent too... most enjoyable for this time of year.
