Better Hearing Center is fabulous. It is very professionally run and efficient. Dr. Deborah Brooks is top notch. She gives you invaluable extra time with instructions on how to use your hearing aids. She is very knowledgeable, caring and personable. I would recommend her and this center very highly.

I saw Deborah to adjust my hearing aids. She took the time to test my hearing aids that they were working properly. I also had the hearing test which I hadnt had in a while. The settings for my hearing aids was changed since I was having trouble with the clarity of voices.I never felt rushed and Deborah did an excellent job of getting the adjustments right. I am hearing so much better now with the adjustments and tweaking Deborah did.She is the best and definitely would recommend Deborah to everyone who needs hearing aids.The whole practice of Better Hearing Care is great. I just lost my dog after 14 years and with rampant Covid and a roommate with chronic conditions I was very apprehensive to get a hearing exam at this time. I put my trust in all the girls at Better Hearing Care and they reduced my anxiety 100 percent. They wore masks. Wiped everything down. Even sprayed the exam room. Sanitized my hearing aids. Very vigilant and careful throughout the process. The kindest and most friendliest and knowledgable team I have ever known in a medical setting. Going back in another month. Their prices are very affordable and they know their job. I would recommend Better Hearing Care any day and anytime especially now during Covid. Please don’t wait. Your hearing is important. If you have a need for hearing aids, please learn from my experience and don’t wait! About 10 years ago, I was told I needed hearing aids. I was so scared to go through the process. I thought I was too young. I thought that I would feel old. I thought it would be a difficult process to go through and there would be a big learning curve. I was afraid to spend lots of money to have something specifically made for me and then I wouldn’t like them. I finally made an appointment at the beginning of 2020 and then the pandemic hit. So, I cancelled it. I stayed home for a year and didn’t venture out much. I got comfortable in my world, but my hearing got worse. I finally decided to make that appointment. My anxiety was pretty overwhelming. Everyone at Better Hearing Care was so nice and patient with me, beginning with my initial phone call with Cayla. I filled out a little bit of paperwork so they could get to know me and get an idea of what I was looking for. Of course they asked all of the necessary questions. I met with Certified Clinical Audiologist, Stephanie LaForge. She spent so much time with me answering all of my questions. Her patience with me was very comforting. After my hearing test, Stephanie put a pair of hearing aids on me and we had a conversation for awhile. I was amazed at what I had been missing. I didn’t want to take them off. She ordered a personalized pair for me with my exact prescription and we scheduled our next appointment. I was happily surprised to get a phone call telling me my hearing aids had arrived and I could come back earlier than was scheduled. I’m now into my third week of wearing them and I’m just so elated at hearing all of the things I couldn’t hear before. I am so grateful when I hear something that I hadn’t been hearing. Audiologist was very knowledgeable, answered my questions about the IIC hearing aid. She was also able to clean the filter on my right hearing aid which was not working. It was sad that they did not take my Insurance so I could order new hearing aids.

So, it had been a few years since I had my old hearing aids checked and they were beginning to fail. I researched the web, spoke with several audiologists and determined to try out the Paradise 90 model by Phonak. I called Better Hearing Care to see if they were a vendor. They were and after a complete and professional hearing exam I selected them to lead me to Paradise. They worked with me on using my insurance to get the best price and I added the TV streaming device. When the order arrived, I was professionally fitted and electronically adjusted to meet my specific hearing loss. The days following were eye opening, or should I say ear opening. I heard sounds that I hadnt for 20 years with other hearing aids. I heard sounds of nature that I didnt know existed, or at least that had not been a part of my life for 50 years following my stint in the Army. On my return visits to Dr Brooks, we made further refinements and I am one very satisfied customer.

Being fitted for new hearing aids was a pleasant experience from the nicely appointed and spotless waiting room, the pleasant greeting by staff to the fitting experience by Deborah Brooks. Ive been going to Better Hearing for more than three years after a sharp reduction with my hearing. I purchased a good set of hearing aids thanks to Denise Golds help and expertise. Denise and the staff have been handling all my needs since then.My last visit I was having problems with my batteries and there was some rust in one of the aids. It needed to be cleaned and repaired. I was given a loaner for more than a week. This is when I got to meet Dr. Deborah Brooks, Au.D. She is so very friendly but more importantly she is so very knowledgeable. She gave me another hearing test and found I had more hearing loss. Even my ENT physician was very impressed on the work she did and comparisons on my hearing tests. Both Deborah and Denise are wonderful and not bad to look at either (oops). I didnt say that. Sorry, not flirting, just an old guys perception. Anyway, 5 STARS for Better Hearing.

My left hearing stop working sometime between last Sunday and Monday morning of this week. I immediately called Better Hearing Care to get an appointment with Denise Gold and was squeezed in for a 12 noon appointment. She quickly assessed that my hearing aid was cracked, looked up my warranty and brought in a loaner until my hearing aid returns from repair. I have said it many times, previously, Better Hearing Care has made an incredibly positive difference in my life! The Oticon hearing devices are second to none in my book. And the folks at BHC are also my favorites!I had a minor problem with one of my hearing devices recently, mainly due to wearing a mask and having to put it on and off multiple times a day and I may have inadvertently tweaked the connection between the receiver and the transmitter and it became intermittent for short periods of time.Since they are essential to hearing my customers and responding accurately, I needed my favorite audiologist Debra to have a look at the connective wire.
