So, my local store, in Palatka, Florida, is staffed with dynamic people. The sales chic that helped me with the application process was all smiles and full of energy. There were no movers staffed because of the storm that day, but she grabbed a hand truck and moved my appliance to the loading dock for me. There was no one there to load it like there normally would be, so the guy in the back, cleaning furniture returns, jumped right up from what he was doing and offered to lend a hand. . I would recommend this store to anyone.
Duke was extremely helpful, stayed with us after closing, to make sure we were comfortable with our purchases. Definitely felt like he went above and beyond his job duties!

I Love this place. Friendly staff, no waiting for help. As I entered I was greeted with a friendly worker. They didnt hover over me, they let me know to look around and if I need assistance to let them know. 5 stars for excellent customer service. However, when delivering on days its supposed to rain, delivery personnel need to load and leave so customers items arent getting wet. When its a front door delivery instead of a delivery and setup, they should be delivered first. 🙄

Do not shop here! They have the worst customer service and do not help you with any problems. I asked that the manager Andrea call me and after two days of no phone call I had to call them again and get my money back. I guess I should have looked at the reviews first because everyone seems to give them the same rating with the same type of problems.
I had a careless awful experience here with a good ending. I started off with meeting Nikki and I got some information from her about a fridge. Nikki was very friendly and great. I called her a day or two after that to ask her some more questions. We got the information with one small detail not explained. My parents went in the next day and were shocked they were charging for delivery. They dont speak fluent English but, understood enough to know they were being charged when we thought it was free delivery. They struggled communicating and understanding and signed and put the 40 dollars down (we knew about that part). My parents called me and let me know the delivery wasnt free after all. I called up to this store during the morning the first lady was very careless when I explained that we were not explained the delivery part. I was obviously frustrated and annoyed because of this mis explanation. I even told them they are on fixed income social security and she did not care. She proceeded to say that it was charge that had to happen even tho I was misinformed. I told her Id never do business with them again and she replied with a perky sarcastic okay!!!I asked for her manager she wasnt any better. Careless and to the book not recognizing that we were misinformed. It was a short but, AWFUL experience. I went later that night and talked to Nikki. SHE MADE EVERYTHING BETTER. Not only did she refund our 40 dollars but, was genuine in her apology about the misinformation and our experience with her non friendly manager and co worker. IF WE EVER COME BACK TO TRY BADCOCK AGAIN WE WILL GO TO NIKKI AND HER ALONE! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW WELL SHE HANDLED MY PARENTS AND I WHEN WE CAME IN LATER to tell her we took our business elsewhere because of what happened during the day. Please give this employee a raise or something because shes the only reason AGAIN ILL SAY IT. IF WE COME BACK IT WILL BE BECAUSE OF NIKKI!
Staff was very helpful with my choices, giving suggestions for childrens bed room furnishings. Very pleasant lady.
I had ordered a couch two weeks ago and was told I could pick it up in two weeks. After calling the store the day before pick up I was informed that it would not be in for another two weeks. I was told it would take another week to reach the distribution center and another week to get to the store. Someone should have called to let me know. When I asked why I wasn’t contacted the associate informed me they do not receive notifications of delayed shipments. Really? The store isn’t that busy so I would think the sales associate could be keeping track of shipments. Who runs a business selling items that they can’t deliver? Palatka Badcock, that’s who. Don’t make promises you can’t keep and don’t buy from Badcock.
This store in Palatka Is very unorganized there is no communication between the store and the warehouse Joanna one of the sales people is very polite while she’s making your sale but after the fact when the warehouse gets your order incorrect she becomes rude and irate over the phone. After waiting for a two hour window the first time the item received was incorrect of what was purchased then the second delivery the item that came was incorrect and damaged finally a third time after more than 30 days after the purchase then the correct Rockingchair was received. Very disappointed in the customer service at the store even with the manager Andrea after speaking to her in regards to the situation she offered no compensation for the three different times that my mother had to wait further 2 to 3 hour window that these drivers while they’re doing their deliveries. Honestly everybody’s time is valuable and it wasn’t my mothers fault that there was no communication between the store and the warehouse and they should not be rude to people on the phone when customers call. Will not be returning to the store and will not recommend anybody to the store or any Badcock furniture for that matter
The sales representative, Joanna Ayala was very helpful and patient with me. She is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly reccomend Palatkas Babcock Home Funiture and more.
Update.I did contact corporate office when it was all happening and they gave us a number associated with this case. Spoke to George. No one EVER called us back after we were told they would in a couple of days. So my question to you as the owner. What do you plan to do about this? So far nothing has been done and I feel you are just trying to make yourself look like you care. When it doesnt feel like you do.Seems like a great family place to work. They seem able to bring kids to work. Delivery was absolutely incredibly horrible. He hit our power pole, dragged cable wire down about 2 feet from the ground, pulled out and came through our trees running over our septic tank. About tore up door frame bringing couch in. Then left in such a hurry the back door swung open and furniture still on truck about came out. We were very lucky cable wire was the only damage. That was our first delivery. Because on top of all that, they brought a defective couch that had to be replaced.
We have been 3 weeks without a washer, because of the run around from these people. It is sad to say. All they want is MONEY.. they say they cant do anything till Whirlpool, says to. So in turn we go without clean laundry, the lady that rents from me is disabled, and I am 71 .. but they dont care.They sell nothing but JUNK and, warranty nothing....
The staff were very informative and nice. The people that did the setup were very quick with setting up and they also, showed up in the est. time frame. We will be back.
I experienced a quick and efficient purchase. The store was clean and the staff friendly. The longest step was my own indecisiveness in choosing a washer. I also witnessed an employee interacting very calmly with a condescending customer and was quite impressed with her composure.

Our couch looks very worn after only 8 months, materials/upholstery not of the highest quality, springs inside have already become faulty, but you get what you pay for so we cant complain. We will return again and simply replace our decor more often. Very satisfied.
I cant believe they just tried the old bait and switch game on me.... I went into their clearance center to find an extra chair for our dining room table. I had a salesperson with me, I found one priced for $25.00. I asked the salesperson if they had any others and she looked in her computer and said that they had four. One was priced at $25.00, two were priced at $49.00 each, and the fourth one was around $100.00. I picked the one for $25.00 and carried it out to the counter to pay. Here is where the switch comes in. As I pulled out my wallet to pay I was told that sorry the chair had already been sold and if I wanted a chair like that I would have to pay $49.00. I then asked if I bought two of the chairs what kind of deal they could make me. The salesperson went in the back to talk to someone and came back and said no, that the chairs were already marked down and I would have to pay the $49.00 a piece. I told them to have a nice day... SHAME ON YOU BADCOCK....
Came in with my wife and no one came over to help us or asked if we needed any help. Another party came in about 10 min after us and an employee greeted them from across the store and went to help them. It was only after we started to leave that another employee asked us if we needed any help. Not now was our response, we spent our money at another furniture store.
My beautiful wife and myself visited this location today and we were amazed at theyre selection and prices. ( Both were amazing!) The personal care we received from the very helpful staff was out of this world they went above and beyond for us . That kind of service will have us as customers for life.
Sales person was very polite and knowledgeable and best of all not pushy. Delivery was on time and they were very nice also. I will definitely make another purchase in the future!

If I could give this place a big fat ZERO I would! Customer Service is non existent and non helpful. Anna who used to work there was the best thing that ever happened to them. Unfortunately now all you get is attitude and rudeness. Does anyone know how to talk to customers anymore?? First off I get a letter stating to call to work out a payment plan, i call and the first thing out of the persons mouth is pay$200 on a$300 bill?? Thats it! no other option! What kind of payment plan is that ? The FEMALE salesperson who I spoke with yesterday evening, didnt even let me get a word out! I had to finally cut her off in order to speak! All I wanted was to catch up on my past due balance, and be heard... What kind of people are the owners hiring there??
Went in just looking for a new sofa and had been helped by Jonathan. He was very well educated on the inventory available and never made me feel pressured to do anything that I wasnt comfortable with. I ended up finding a nice sofa that met my budget thanks to Jonathan. Everybody else was well mannered employees with great people skills. Hard to find in establishments within Palatkas radius.
Really wish I could put a 5 star but I can’t! I came in looking for a new living room set and after 45 minutes of browsing on my own and NO ONE addressing me I started to walk from by the tvs & recliners towards the front to leave and some one finally walked over to ask if they could help me. I was VERY direct that I wasn’t happy and didn’t feel welcomed. The only thing that saved this whole situation was the lady overly apologizing to me and working with me step by step until I found a set I was happy with. 2 days later a family member asked me if I needed help to move the furniture which I told them no because they were delivering it to me. She looked at me and laughed and said “I’m surprised you would pay for a delivery to up the road!” I told her I didn’t have to pay and brushed it off but I decided to call anyway to make sure. Well the manager told me everyone gets charged a delivery fee. I explained to him that no one told me about this fee and he began to go off stating that it’s signs everywhere saying it’s a fee.. but again “no one told me this” and I literally opened the account the same day I came in. My husband even tried to talk to him. I wasn’t look for a “free delivery” I just really want him to at least care and apologize but instead he said “I don’t know what was said so I can’t really do anything. You have to wait until she comes back to take it up with her because she’s off today!” So yeah this is how they treat first time customers and this is the guy that manages the store. I ended up having to have family help me move it on my only day off and of course it rained that day *sigh*
Everything pretty good except I called in Monday after a Saturday delivery for a missing ice maker tray and was told would be taken care of next day, but still waiting lol

Honesty isnt something you can always Bank on when youre shopping for furniture. The exception is when youre dealing with Jonathan at Badcocks. Hes always upfront about price and the best deals. When I bought my furniture I dont think think I could have been more satisfied.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Place an order a week ago and was very happy. The day I was suppose it get the bedroom set. They called me to tell me that they didnt get it all in, which I was fine with that until they told me they were not sure if they can even get what I wanted at all. They try to see if they had something else that I will like but because I wanted a white bedroom set, there was not much they can do. So upset because when we ordered everything was fine just maybe having to wait a few extra days or extra week for the set. I wish they would have said something before hand about the the bedroom set in longer been made or carried.Now my daughter doesnt have a bed and I am having to shop around again.😠

My parents have been customers at badcock palatka store for many years. the owner is a very nice person . sorry i can not say the same for the manager and salespersons, they are very rude . bought a laptop from the store for christmas that is defected . took it back in less than 10 days and the salesman would not take it back went back later talked to manager and she was very rude and said electronics could not be returned .would expect to be treated nicer since they have paid off many accounts with the store dating back to when deloach was the owner. again the owner is very nice but she does not work in the store .also anna was very nice no longer works there would also like to be greeted when we walk in and would like to be appreciated for being loyal customers they need a friendlier manager and salesman.

The Palatka branch, is the worse store for customer service, i was told twice today that I would recieve a call regarding a delivery window, ( 1st time)the delivery staff must never called,( to establish a general delivery time at all) I was home all day waiting. I have been purchasing ice to keep food cold waiting on the delivery of a new refridgerator. Not sure what happened but the follow through on my delivery was less than professional.I called earlier today to ask if I could be given a general time for delivery.( the second time) Sales staff gave some story about staff having wait on someone who was not in place for a delivery, however the staff never call to say they were in route nor if they were at my residence. I was at home but no call or no option for staff to locate my whereabouts. It is so sad, the biggest issue is when speaking with sales staff he act as if he didnt care at all. Supporting local businesses is very hard when staff makes excuses for missed steps. The sales staff( Justin) over talk customers when you try to get answers & I was assured twice today that someone would call that never happened! Would like to speak with management about a full refund. This is in unacceptable service. I would rather spend my money someplace where customers are valued.

Will never do business with this company. They warranty their products but its impossible to get anyone to come out an do repairs. My mother has purchased a lot of appliances from this company and all of them have failed within a year. Im so glad I never did business with badcock and never will. I urge you to stay away if you are purchasing anything that is under warranty.

I went into Badcocks in Palatka yesterday (06/04) to check out the mattress. There were no salespersons on the floor and only one person behind the desk with three people in line. I had several questions but chose to leave as I figure they didnt really want my business. Can I post less than one star? Wont go back. Will stick with Farmers. They want my business.
