A few weeks ago, on a Sunday afternoon, my laptop experienced the black screen of death and I had three Zoom Meetings back to back on that Monday! I let my fingers do google and found Polo who said he could help me. I agreed to meet him in a near isolated parking and while I was concerned for my safety I was desperate to get my laptop fixed. We met and he took my laptop at five PM.At approximately 11:15 PM Polo indicated he was finished with my laptop and that we could meet in the parking lot. Being an elderly woman, I weighed to go or not to and went because I desperately needed my laptop. I met Polo and he sadly said he could not save my near 15 year old device but recognizing my dilemma he gave me a laptop so that I could meet my obligations.Polo is a caring person and clearly he enjoys his work and helping people.I greatly appreciate that he works on Sunday and until 9:00 because laptops do not discriminate and break down whenever! After reading up on several places in the area, I decided to go right to him.I spilled wine on my keyboard and my laptop would not start up. 2 weeks later I went to this place and met Polo. I turned on my computer to show him the problem, and well, it started working. ( I had not tried it for 2 weeks, I had given up) The spill had dried up and now my computer worked; but he knew instantly what had happened and explained why. He said the location of the spill had shorted out my cooling fan for a while. He told me it was fine, and would not need any servicing, He checked the keyboard and told me that I had done a good job blowing out the spill immediately after it happened, and would not recommend any service for it. He encouraged me to try starting it up in front of him, instead of just writing up a repair order to check it out What a nice and honest guy to take time to talk to me.He is located in the back of a small industrial park, that may be a little hard to find, but well worth it. He explained that this location helps him keep prices down for his customers. Give him a chance, hes a people person who will take care of you, and youll make a friend too! You cant not like this guy..

My computer died suddenly and since I use it every day I was not happy. Called and was immediately invited to come over for diagnosis. Needed new power supply. Since I didnt want to wait any longer than necessary, he sent me to Best Buy with a printout of the model he recommended. Installed and my computer was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Paid quoted price, he guarantees his work for life. Simple fix, but if youre not comfortable/knowledgeable about computers he was a godsend. Very professional, pleasant and straight forward. Will definitely use again if needed.

1000% better of an experience than I could’ve ever imagined. I’m not sure if I can do it justice on here but I’ll try. Polo is one of the most genuinely kind human beings I have ever met. I came to him today with a water damaged MacBook that Apple was asking over $700 to fix and he fixed it for a small fraction of that. His prices are unbelievable. Not only does he have a customer for life with me but I’m going to make sure all of my friends come here. Coming to Computer Doctor is easily one of the best decisions that I’ve made all year.

Had an issue with laptop. Last repair service was not available. Polo was professional and knowledgeable. I got the machine back in a day with no surprises. He is honest and affordable, cant thank him enough!

A little wary about the location and short list of reviews, I brought my computer to the shop owner (Polo) to fix a water damaged keyboard. Polo sat down with me and he worked on my computer for over 30 minutes to diagnose the problem and find parts that would suffice for the repair. We then ordered the parts together in the most cost effective manner. When the parts came in, I brought my computer back and he fixed the problem in a short 2 hours, and he only charged me for 1.5 hours (69$). Polo was very polite and incredibly generous with his time and expertise. I would recommend him 100/100 times. He charged well less than half of all other repair stores in the Baltimore area.

Found this place from google search for my macbook air. I got beer damage and got diagnosed from different place with ~$400-$500 estimate to replace motherboard. I met Mr. Polo and he was a genuine and very honest guy I ever met. He fixed the macbook within 3 hrs even without replacing motherboard. You can absolutely trust him. Very nice guy. I also purchased a lap top from them im currently typing on now that works beautifully and cant believe how little the price for purchase was. i really cant say enough good things about this place. i mean before i came here i talked to people who were gonna charge me $50 dollars just to diagnose my computer issues. computer doctor is legit and awesome, they wont rip you off here. also let me add for people who want to see whats happening with their devices, they can do the diagnosis and repair work in front of you!! for people with sensitive information on their electronics or just a crazy level of attachment to them this can be very important and this place gets an A+ from me on that too

Polo has unbeatable prices and customer service. Its rare to find someone as honest and trustworthy as Polo. I spilled a drink on my Macbook Pro and everything worked except the battery, I took it to the Apple store to see if they could fix it. They told me that my AppleCare which I dropped around 200 for does not cover liquid damage. I was told that the repair would be $750!!!! thats ridiculous! about half of what the computer cost me. I figured I would look around for a cheaper repair or at least someone who could buy it for parts. I stumbled upon Polo through a google search and saw his reviews, I thought people were exaggerating his kindness and fair prices but they were not. Polo quickly printed up and estimate for me, showed me the cost of the part he was going to purchase and showed me a video of how he would replace the battery. He only charged me $99 for his labor plus the cost of the part($55) I could not believe how cheap he was charging me! The battery took a few days to get delivered but once he received it he repaired my Macbook the very same day and even showed me the old battery. I will never pay for AppleCare ever again and I only trust Polo for future repairs. He also sells refurbished computers and I believe he will buy your computer for parts as well but im not completely sure about that one. Thank you so much Polo.

Did my research(and various online fixes, to no avail), and saw it was my hard drive. Went to Computer Doc, encouraged by the high ratings—and I am so glad I did. The first thing he did was shake my hand(how rare is THAT?).Had time to wait and watch the process of evaluating my hard drives health, rocking out/discovering new music via Polos awesome recommendations, while giving a few of my own, AFTER being offered cold water for relief from the heat outside. The time flew: No awkward silences; no foot-tapping, while we talked about world issues and everything in-between.After discovering a lapse in my HD, he suggested multiple replacements that would be much faster and resilent(and, again, fairly priced), printed out the quoted price so that I wouldnt be cheated, and I popped over to Best Buy, no problem. Bonus: he also suggested upgrading my RAM—which I had issues with—and offered me higher capacity hardware, at half the retail price.
