Love love these guys. They are kind efficient and made me feel welcomed. I got a pedicure and full set and I love the results. I will definitely be coming back.

As soon as we got there they were able to see us, we both got acrylics with somewhat complicated designs on our fingers. The nails turned out absolutely amazing. David did the purple nails with butterflies in the photos, and Aiden did the light pink nails with jewels. They were very nice and professional, and the nail salon itself was very clean. I’ll probably be coming here again, my experience was amazing. 5 stars.

First time visiting. Aiden did my pedicure and removed old acrylic and put new. He did absolutely amazing. I love ombre look he did and it was exactly what I asked for. He was very detail oriented which was nice. He took his time to make sure they were great Quality. Will definitely be back to see him.

Ever since my current nail place has shut down I’ve had a hard time finding somewhere good to go! I’ve heard about obky nails and finally had time to give it a chance and my first experience was WONDERFUL! Each time I had the same guy his name is AIDEN! Aiden is such a sweet and good quality guy! He took time with me and always gave me more that what I wanted! Hopefully he’ll be there when I come to get a fill in! My fiancée got a chance to come in with me for a medi & pedi and he LOVED IT!

I have been a customer of Tina’s for over a decade now. Her and her husband always make sure to work around my busy schedule to accommodate me. Tina does the BEST on pedicures, it’s her speciality. If you like natural nails you need to go to her. Recently they got new nail technicians and they are GREAT! Aiden did the set pictured and I have zero complaints. He continuously made sure that I liked the shape, length, color, and design. He did my nails in a very timely manner and I can’t wait to get my nails done by him again. It is always clean and they always have made me feel comfortable in their establishment. If you don’t get your nails done at OBKY Nails you need to start now!

Tina has been doing my nails for years. She babies me! I haven’t picked out my nail color in years. She always keeps an eye out for any color that may look good on me and is never wrong on her picks. I make appointments and she’s always quick on getting me in and also my children and husband. Tina has a good eye for ingrowns as well. You won’t go wrong if you choose OBKY for all your nail needs. Tina, Tony, and staff are great at making all customers feel like friends.

We go in. They welcome us and tell us to pick out a color. We spend about a half hour picking out the perfect color for us while they are helping others. Finally its our turn to be waited on. They ask what we need and we both needed a full set of nails. He replied No nails.. confused, we asked him to clarify. He said No nails until tomorrow, you come back tomorrow.. it would have been nice to have been asked immediately what we needed rather than wasting so much time picking out colors like we were told to do.. rather than finding out later that no nails, shes on vacation, come back tomorrow... We left and went elsewhere.

This was my first time going to this place, I usually don’t ever get my nails done. I loved my experience there! Aiden who did my nails did a great job & he wasn’t rough in my nails like people at other salons have been. I have sensitive nails & when people are rough they’re sore for a couple days. Mine this time we’re only sore for a few hours after he did them. I love what he did with my nails.

Danny did an amazing job on my friend and my toes! We did have to wait but it was totally worth it. Clean environment, always sanitized and cleaned everything. It was amazing!

I ask for acrylic overlay and they processed to tell me the dip was healthier for my nails, but dip doesnt last on my nails. I said no thank you I want the overlay. The guy looked to the women next to him and done the dip on my nails. I stopped him saying if you cant do the overlay Ill go somewhere else. He finished the nails in dip ignoring me till it was time to pay.

I do not live in Owensboro, but was visiting for the day. I went to OBKY Nails for the first and last time.While the results were good, the prices for services are not posted (or listed clearly) and the workers are very unprofessional.The nail tech working on my pedicure spent a solid 10 minutes complaining about another customer to me. When I went to pay for my basic pedicure (posted as $35) with gel polish, I was told it was $55. I knew there would be an up charge for gel polish, but no where was that price posted. The list didn’t specify the price for a gel pedicure vs regular polish. Just the one price for the basic pedicure. I pointed out to the man, that the $55 price wasn’t listed. He explained gel was and extra $20. I said I was okay paying $55, but I didn’t know that was the price since it wasn’t listed. He then asks a group of customers to explain it to me and loudly asking for all the other customers in the salon to explain it to me making a scene. I had to specifically ask him to let me pay so he would stop. I paid the $55 and left. I was so embarrassed by the scene he made I walked out in tears.

OBKY nails is a super clean place with amazing service. The nail tech that did my nails did a very cute design that was exactly what i wanted.

DON’T GO HERE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!The nail tech burned my fingers twice and when I flinched he got upset, jumped up, told me I was being difficult and tells me to leave the salon. 🤬 He started talking to the older gentleman and the older man told me “he said he will not touch you! He doesn’t want to do your nails. You come back monday to have someone else do them! You must leave now!….. On top of that, I had to wait an hour just to be seen and the man I got was rude, unprofessional and kept getting up to walk out the back door. Even the customers were confused as to why I had to leave. My nails were half done, acetone and product all over my hands Smh#Countyourdays

I was an out of town visitor. The man who did my toes was very unprofessional. I told him that he did not do a good job. My toes looked horrible. Another employee tried to fix his mess. I told her I was still not happy with the pedicure. She apologized but did not offer a discount or to fix the problem. I am very disappointed with this place of business and how they handled me as a customer. This was a horrible experience and expensive.

Cece was very gentle with my nails and made them look really good!

In March I got a pedicure and nail dip on my natural nail. Done well however I was surprised at how expensive it was. In April I went back for a nail redo. The process is first the prior acrylic must be soaked off and then the dip reapplied. This is the first place I’ve gone that charges to remove old to apply the new. It was $50. I was very surprised and will find a new salon.

D is BEAST at nails, although he claims he isnt professional! I travel 45 min just to get them done by the best!

My first time at OBKY Nails exceeded all my expectations. I went in, explained what I wanted and walked out with exactly that. I got a pedicure done by Denny and a dip powder manicure done by MyMy. This was my first time getting dip powder ever and MyMy made my nails look so natural while adding the little bit of length I wanted. Both Denny and MyMy were so sweet, took their time making my nails look absolutely perfect and made me feel so welcomed. The entire time I visited, the staff talked to me, making it a warm welcoming environment which in my opinion is rare for nail salons. Honestly OBKY nails is where I will be going from now on. My nails look really good but the man was laughing at me and made me bleed several times. Everyone is nice and friendly and the place is rlly clean, just didn’t find it very professional that he was laughing at me as I was telling him what I wanted done.

This was the first time I have been to this location. It was also the first time I have taken my daughter. She loved it and they was all so kind to her.Update: Finally able to update. They are very nice. Both mine and my daughters polish didn’t last long at all. Right after I Posted my first review I looked at my daughters nails again and the polish was already coming off. I thought ok she’s a kid and maybe they had to do something different than mine. Even though they charged me the same price for her nails as they did mine. Then the very next day I noticed my polish was also coming off. I spent $70 for two pedicures and they didn’t even last a full 24 hours.

I went with a friend, we both got pedicures. The business was sort of busy but the workers made sure to keep us informed. Pedicure was great.I also got a full set of acrylic nails. I originally had an issue with my nails but the owners, Tina and Tony, reached out to me and convinced me to come back to have it fixed. They apologized for the miscommunication and made sure everything was right before I left.In the end, I am happy with the outcome.

I went to get a fill before a trip and not only did they fill in my nails, they fixed what my previous place did. I got dip polish and the previous place had it very thick and not as pointy as they should’ve been. A few of my nails were even crooked. But I got Jason to do them and he treated the job VERY professionally. He took his time and made sure that they were to my satisfaction. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here!😁

I went to obky nails on 8/24 and got my acrylics removed and dip powder put on my nails. 4 nails were broken 3 days ago and I decided to go in today 9/1. I went in and asked if they could fix the broken nails since it had been only a week. The first guy argues that my nails were acrylic and I needed a fill in. I stated they were dip nails. The second woman said it’s been 2 weeks since I was there and I once again stated it has been a week, and they have been broken for 3 days. She continued to tell me it’d been 2 weeks since I was in there and I needed a new set. I stated I wasn’t going to pay for a new set because I paid $55 a week ago and I have broken nails. My sister in law was in obky nails a day after me and her nails are all broken in half too. I’m not one to write a bad review but y’all should know before you pay that much money. I have a bank statement proving I was there 8/24 and multiple pictures of the broken nails as well.

After shopping around to find a new person due to bad experiences at other places...I found my place and Jason will be the only one doing my nails from now on! Tina is always great!! Friendly! I have been coming here for over 2 months and any time I have an issue it always gets taken care of!! I have been getting the dip manicure and I am constantly working with my hands. I had one where it was my fault it broke and I went in and they fixed it for me! Tina has been doing my nails for 8 years. She is excellent at cutting ingrown nails. OBKY Nails is very clean and relaxing. Her ataff is like family to me. She takes excellent care of my autistic son and caters to his special needs.

I DO NOT recommend this place at all. I got the dip nails and its the worst Ive ever received. They didnt do enough coats for the powder they filed my nails so thin that they feel like razor blades. When using the drill tool he burned my nail, Ive never actually had getting my nails done be a painful experience. I just got them down yesterday and already have a cracked nail! Absolutely terrible work and I wont be returning not to mention I sat there over 20mins before they even got to me and the color I picked out wasnt even what it turned out on my nail. Not pleased.
