Ryan was able to help me make an informed decision which resulted in me deciding the work wasnt necessary. I have a 1963 f-100 that I had trouble bleeding the drum brakes on and they came highly recommended. They were able to bleed the air out but brakes were still not right. They only charged me 1/2 the price. In the time I was there they were professional and informative. I will be doing business with them again.

I was very impressed by this shop when I went for new tires, an oil change, and a couple of other things. The guy at the front was friendly and professional even though I asked a lot of questions. I was happy with the quality and cost. It felt transparent and honest... Im pretty sure they didnt charge me for fixing my loose door latch and displaced cables, which was very cool. I am definitely going back to this shop next time I need something fixed!

Friendly, knowledgeable employees. Didn’t try to up-sell me on items I didn’t need. I mostly dealt with Ryan, and he was super nice. Kept me informed as to everything happening. I didn’t even have to make an appointment. Just walked in about 12:30 and my new tire was put on and done at 5:00, as promised. Will definitely use these guys again when more work is needed on my car. My last experience at my dealership’s mechanic was not good- they promised to fix some stuff, then didn’t. I randomly picked them from a google search but was very pleased with this choice after their quick service to repair my tire. Everyone I encountered was pleasant. I was given an accurate time estimate for when to expect my car to be ready. While picking up my car, I was informed they had heard ‘a sound’ which they’d quickly diagnosed and fixed at no charge. I would definitely recommend them and will come again.

My windshield wipers weren’t working. When I took it in the first thing they did was check for quick fixes right in front of me. I took this as a good sign.An untrustworthy repair shop may just look for the quick fixes and then tell you they replaced the flux capacitor. They also did full vehicle inspection free of charge.The staff seemed respectful competent and trustworthy based on my experience I would definitely recommend.

On a long trip to KC I picked up a screw in my tire and went to Oades Brothers to get it repaired. They pulled it out but said it hadnt punctured the inner lining of the tire so they didnt charge me anything! Excellent service.

I can’t say enough about this place. Fair prices and honest people. Needed new shocks on my daughters jeep but I decided to try and do it myself. They would of put on the ones I bought for $100 but it looked easy so I tried it. Took the Jeep to them a few weeks later because I was still having some vibration issues and they told me that the shocks needed to be tightened more. They took care of that at no charge and it drives fine now. I will be a customer for as long as they are open.

I got a really good price on four tires. And I came in after 3 on a Monday and they didn’t have my tires in but they ordered them and had them on by 10 the next morning. The customer service was stellar. Later on after picking up my car I realized I forgot to ask for my donut tire back… cause I only drove it 2 miles and who knows when I’ll need it again. But when I popped open my trunk, they had already put it back! Its the little things. I would definitely recommend them and go back myself. Made a bad situation tolerable. Thank you oades !

I have to leave for a road trip tonight at around 9pm I called yesterday because my car started to die at lights and was hesitating to go. I thought it was the fuel filter/pump. They wanted to make sure first they inspected my car and found out it wasn’t my fuel pump that it was value cover and spark plugs. They fixed it up for me this morning and was done before 11am. This review is over due. I was in hospital last month so I apologize for the delay.I really want express my appreciation for Brad and all the guys there. We had our engine redone a little over a month ago and I want to say it is perfect. I have driven it close to 1,000 miles and it is wonderful. They did a few other things that needed to be done also but the total cost was less then what was quoted by others. I could not be more pleased. They have also worked with me on a 93 that I have and I have always been satisfied and if you are not and you go explain way they will fix it. I never feel I just screwed when I leave there.

Dropped my car off here this morning to receive a Check Engine diagnosis. I called them 10 minutes before dropping the vehicle of and heard back from them by the time I got home. They were quick, professional and even did a second check to ensure the issue was out of their hands. I returned to the shop to retrieve my vehicle and take it to a transmission shop that they recommended and they didnt even charge me for the time diagnosing. My car has a check engine light on. I went to them they said it is a catalytic converter issue. So, they asked me to change it and I did. After couple of days, the check engine light again popped up. So, I went to them and they said I need to change the o2 sensors. So, I did. With in next few hours after changing the o2 sensors. It again popped up. This time they said it should be catalytic converter so, they asked me to pay more on the catalytic converter they changed earlier. I have been spending on same issue from past 4 months. They are not fixing the problem and neither giving me the refund.

Our work van had a tire blowout in the middle of a business day, between many stops on our hardwood floor companys schedule. Scarily shredded, we were in an area near the Bond Bridge, without a shoulder (and it turns out with a leaky spare with a nail in it!).After getting spare on, we took it to Oades Bros. who not only fit us immediately in to their schedule--but also suggested we replace BOTH (the other) rear tire too, for symmetry sake. Trusting their suggestion, NOT an up-sell, and decided to use the 1/2-used remaining rear tire to replace our leaking spare, which we had discovered had a nail in it causing a slow leak. Now we have to matching tires on our 100+-mile a day rear-wheel-drive vehicle and fully functional spare.If were not moving, were not taking care of our customers or making money. We are considering taking all of our work van fleet their for maintenance. We appreciate their experience and ability to fit us in. Highly recommend Jimmy and his team. Fair prices, delivered as promised even after one of the parts that I had ordered came in late. They do Tire Rack work and installed tires, tpms, shocks, stabilizer and some suspension components. Not very good at troubleshooting. Took my vehicle in because it was idling badly. They told me it needed new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and needed the fuel injectors cleaned. They werent sure if that would fix an issue. Should have said no but gave the shop the benefit of the doubt and told them to go ahead. Received a call later that my alternator was bad and needed replaced. It did but that had nothing to do with what I brought the vehicle in to troubleshoot. At that point were at $800+ and they still dont know whats wrong with my vehicle. I cut my losses and got my vehicle back. $450 and it ran the exact same as when I took it to them.Im sure the place is great for tires, oil changes etc. But for anything else more advanced Id suggest someone less willing to throw your money at stuff and hope if solves the problem.

Excellent service! Staff was helpful and friendly, and they clearly explained what they were doing and how much things would cost. They answered my questions, and I never felt like they were trying to push services I didnt need. Very trustworthy; Ive already recommended them to my roommates.

Mechanically they did an awesome job fixing everything that was wrong with my car. They were professional and courtesy and really listened to me. Only two things I noticed which I wish that handled different. 1. As I was explaining all the things wrong with my car, I had been there about 10 mins already, and the phone rang. The service person instead of putting them on hold and explaining he was with a customer and it may be bit, he continued to help which was took about 10 mins. I thought that was rude. 2. The owner and general manager were both on site which was fantastic; both of their business cards on the counter took both. After the work was done and I had my vehicle I had concerns about a charge. So I called the owner from his card and never returned my call. I finally got my answer after calling in a 3rd time back into the shop. So overall good, but could step up their customer service a tad better.

These guys were amazing! I brought in my old Jeep because a tire (very old) was leaking and I was hoping to patch it. Coincidentally they couldnt get it to start, no power at all and thats a problem because my hood latch is broken. They pushed it in, fixed the hood latch, discovered my battery terminals were practically falling off and tightened those then soaped the tire to discover its just cracking from age. Gave me a quote and didnt charge me for a thing! Also the quote was the cheapest Ive seen yet!

Earlier this month, my brakes started grinding. I contacted Bill Oades, A friend of mine, and was directed to go out to the store on 119th to get a quote. I was given a great bid and told her I could bring the vehicle in on short notice to get the work done. A few days later I brought the car in and true to their word they had it in tiptop condition within a couple of hours.The staff was very professional and how they took care of me. Called ahead and spoke with a young lady who immediately answered the phone and answered my questions really friendly. Had to literally stop by to get my tire aired up but not only that the guy that fixed it gave me some input on what I need to do next because wit was almost as low as the rim which I didnt realize. If I didn’t have to return to my working (at home of course) up the street I would’ve had them check the tire and so on. Thanks so much I’ll def be back and recommend soon!

In an era when auto repair is over expensive, Oades manages service and kindness very economically. Working with the client is uppermost in their minds.

Very friendly. Better priced — forMounting and Balancing— than TiresPlus down the street. I wish they would have checked myTPMS sensors when they mounted my tires in December. 7 months later I brought it back because I’ve had slow leaks in all four corners for a couple years. Applied service kit to three TPMS sensors and replaced 1. Of this takes care of the problem, it’s all good.

I’ve been to Oades a handful of times and they’d customer service and service, period, is second to none. Appointments are best, but they will do whatever they can to fit you in. I went to get my tires replaced because I knew I was getting close to having to buy new ones. When I left my car, they called me 20 min later telling me I had at least another 6000 miles to go before I really needed new ones and gave me the option to replace now or wait a couple months. NO ONE does that. They actually had my best interest in mind and weren’t going to charge me for unnecessary services. When I picked my car up they said, “just call us when you’ve reached the mileage and we’ll be sure to order those tires for you.” So far, very impressed with them, great service, great people and great prices. I had issues with brakes on my car. Dropped it off with Brad at 3 pm, heard back from him by 4 pm as to what work needed to be done . My car was finished the next day. I wasn’t inconvenienced at all . I will return as I have full confidence in Brad. He was courteous, polite, knowledgeable.

Went in for new front tires and to change a turn signal light. They fixed it and told me the other problems they found with my car. It was very affordable, theyll talk you through the brands and have great best bang for your buck options.The guy I spoke to was very friendly and got it all done--Ive scheduled again to get my front breaks and back windshield wipers replaced tomorrow. I am very happy to find owner Brad and his team. Our mechanic moved to Florida and the folks he recommended are a significant distance from where we live. Our Toyota had a slow leak in the rear tire.
