We are happy to have discovered Keeton Auto Repair. They were recommended to us by a friend as a trustworthy and reliable local, woman-owned business and we have been very pleased all three times we have used them in the last 2 months. Our sons car had engine failure and they helped me after hours to know how to get it towed to them that night, looked at it quickly the next day, and were honest about the fact that it couldnt be repaired so didnt recommend spending any money on it. They have also done oil changes for us and are always pleasant to deal with and very professional. We are fans!

Wonderful people and very honest place! I was having some issues with my car and Mary made sure to walk through everything with me, knowing I was on a tight budget they were able to work with me to get what I absolutely needed done and have a plan for everything else. Even better, they were able to get me in quickly and the turnaround was great! I came back for another minor repair and will continue to use them when Im in the area. The staff were very nice, office was clean. One of the owners even contacted me after to see how my experience was. I took the car in for an oil change, alignment, and a squeaking noise when I turned on the car after sitting idle. Visit 1 - oil changed, car aligned, belt replaced - $375. Still hearing squeak. Visit 2 - same belt replaced (no charge) and belt tensioner replaced - $382. Still hearing squeak. Visit 3 - was provided an estimate to repair water pump & power steering pump, $1,227. I declined, as I was hesitant to do the repair here since I had been back 3 times and the issue wasnt fixed. Also not an emergency repair. I would love to give them a glowing review since everyone was friendly and this place is seriously close to home. Locally/family-owned businesses have a soft spot in my heart as well. Unfortunately, I cant based on my experience.

From Bell at the front counter to the guys in the bays it feels like a very professional outfit and the work I have had done there for about 2 1/2 years now is always top notch. I would not come in expecting shade tree mechanic pricing but Ive never felt like they are trying to get me to spend money I did not need to spend either. Trust is hard won at a mechanic shop but I feel they deserve it.

My car broke down on the road as soon as I drove it for the first time after seeing this shop. They run a complimentary diagnostics test with the service you go in for which is great but they fail to even go over what was on that diagnostics test with you and expect you to know what it means.As a business, you should not expect the customer to be an expert. They failed to let me know that my air filter needing changing and the dirty air filter was the reason my car broke down. After spending nearly $1000 getting it towed and repaired at a different place, I am very disappointed that this could have been avoided from the get-go knowing this was due to complete negligence on their part. One of the owners of the shop did reach out through text to follow up which was very nice and professional as that rarely happens with a business. I expressed my concerns and she did let me know that they will be more careful about this moving forward however, the lack of customer service I experienced at the shop set me back a lot financially and I want to let others in the area know about this so no one else has to be in my same situation.

Keeton was very professional and helpful. I brought my car to a different shop and they couldn’t sort out my Honda CRV’s issues. Keeton diagnosed it and explained the repair that was needed. I also used their loaner car service and it was easy and convenient. This was my first visit with them and I’ll be back.

People are friendly and knowledgeable throughout all phases. They show you before and after pictures of the repairs. They accidentally damaged my oil pan while performing work on my transfer case. Not even a mention of a charge for installing a new oil pan. They will have my work along as they are in business.

Keeton’s auto was great. Fixed a stem on my rim and diagnosed issues with my brakes by 11am after my morning drop off. Had new brakes and rotors by 5:45pm.

Bought a used car for my son. Went in for oil change. Had them check brakes as well(car was shaking when braking ) instead of going to the dealership. They we’re so detailed and gave me a visual walk-through of the services needed and would perform. Service was fantastic! They have a new customer for life!

This was my first experience with Keeton Auto Repair and it was a great one! I had a long list of issues I wanted them to look at and they quickly looked into each of them, giving me feedback on what they found along with pictures to show me. The prices were fair and approving the work orders was very efficient as they were handled online. Any parts that were ordered to fix my vehicle were ordered, delivered, and installed quickly. The communication was outstanding. The only issue I had was when my engine code wasnt cleared after they fixed the problem. I havent found a mechanic that I felt I could trust over the last 15 years of living here until now. I will definitely take my vehicle back to Keetons in the future!

Asked for a simple estimate for a repair for my vehicle. Was told they couldnt give an estimate until they got it and took it apart. So I fixed it myself took ten dollars and less than one hour of my time.

I brought my vehicle here based on reviews, it being a family owned business and looking for a more convenient location to my new home. (Though a previous review set off a red flag...I unfortunately, dismissed it) After reviewing the list of items they recommend repairing in addition to the A/C venting problem I was experiencing, I checked the boxes of the current problem ($480) rejected the other $1900 in suggested repairs. I think I am going to pay $480 to have my car repaired and I get a call two hours later letting me know the repairs are going to be $800. The $480 wasnt for the repair, it was for additional diagnostics. Very disappointed in there lack of transparency in pricing. Checking the boxes and getting a total....does not mean that is the total you will pay.

Had appointments for two cars for oil change in one day. Work completed in a timely manner and much to my satisfaction.

Our family has been going to Keeton Auto Repair exclusively after some poor work via a local Ford dealership encouraged us to look elsewhere. Our cars have never performed better! Both of our cars, a 2011 Ford Edge Sport AWD with appx. 131K miles and a recently sold 2013 Lincoln MKZ AWD 3.7L with appx. 58K miles, received top notch diagnostics and timely reminders. My AMEX doesnt get anxious when I take the car to the shop :) Honestly priced parts + reasonable hourly rates + professional mechanics = a quality repair. Nothing but good things from our experiences. Definitely worth a visit.

Told me I needed tires went to big o tires they said I was not even close to needing to replace09 dodge caravan you should have a record you charged me 155 for a dionostic check and also stated the metal was showing through the tread on my tires which was not trueI just think you should be honest with your customers

Keeton Auto is my family’s go to shop for all our automotive needs. They do our oil changes and other routine service needs. They are also there when something goes wrong with one of our vehicles. The service they provide is top notch and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. They do a great job of working around our hectic schedules to get us taken care of and back on the road.

I brought my car here because I dont have a regular mechanic in this area, and they keep sending me coupons in the mail. My car had a coolant leak that developed as the result of a small fender bender. These guys might be ok for small jobs, but if insurance is involved, go somewhere else. The communication about the insurance claim process was terrible. They told me my car was done, then basically added oh by the way, we are putting your bumper in the back so you can take it to a body shop. Excuse me, what? Why was I not told up front that there was no way for them to finish the job, and they do not contract with anyone who does, AND I was going to have to arrange to find a body shop and take more time off work to get it there myself? And then I was told to ask the insurance adjuster what to do next. I wasted half a day coordinating what should have been a simple move and something they should have told me up front when they gave me a quote. And after all that, I had to pay my bill online so that the body shop could go pick it up. So I forgot to give them the coupon...

Weve had all of the routine work on our car, like oil changes and tire patches, done at Keeton a number of times and never had any issues. The people we interacted with were always professional and informative.After having our water pump replaced and our tires rotated, however, our car has started screeching extremely loudly. When the engine starts and/or the tires turn it screeches so loudly and consistently you can plainly hear it indoors. Its a 2016 car that never did this before and it started literally the day after the work at Keeton. Luckily we didnt have to call to ask them about it because the owner took the time to follow up with us and make sure the work they did went well... Except they never answered us after we told them about the noise.Its been more than a week and the car is still screeching so well be having it looked at by a new mechanic.

One of the best oil change prices around. They also did a quick inspection with a list and pictures of what needs to be done in the future.

We have taken our daughters car here for repairs several times and have decided this will be our default place to take our cars for service. Staff is very nice, place is kept clean, and they provide honest, accurate estimates of work to be done. We havent had any issues with the quality of the work and the car has always been ready when promised.

Keeton is great! So glad I now have my repair shop. I hate going for car repairs, just as much as I hate going to the dentist. Largely for the same reason, that I dont usually know what needs to be done and the element of mystery is far from exciting. I went in knowing I likely needed all my brakes done, and was expecting a fairly bad report card along with that. First, they got me in so quickly! Once I decided to go in I wanted it done right away. I brought it in on a Friday night and they had it all done and back to me about 1pm on Saturday. There was no scolding over my brakes or my lack of oil changes. I actually only ended up needed front brakes, they didnt sucker me into doing the back. The only things they recommended were air filter (cheap) and a tire rotation, which they did for no charge since my tires were all ready off. I was actually pleasantly surprised with my grand total! They are nice, honest, and reasonable, couldnt ask for more!

My husband and I needed to have our SUV checked out before heading out on vacation, so based on these google reviews being so positive we brought our business here. We were pretty easy going and left our SUV overnight for them to look at it when they could the next day. After not hearing from anyone, I call around 2:30pm to see if they have had a chance to look over our vehicle. They had looked at it and told me it was done and I could come by, pay and pick it up later with my husband. They quoted me a ridiculous amount. After telling my husband about it, he called them back, asked why it was much, and basically got told well your wife said she was going to pay for it after hearing this I didnt go in and my husband took of work early around 5 PM to go with me to pick it up. When they realize its not just me coming in to pay, they told my husband they misquoted us on the price... so what if I had paid? Would they have misquoted a woman on price? I absolutely hate saying that, but seriously this lined up to be that kind of situation.Thats the first red flag.When we get there at 5, our SUV is still in the bay and in pieces. Nobody had even tried to put it back together after checking things out. This is after us leaving it over night and them having an entire day to have it ready, and telling me it was ready at 3 and I could pay.While putting it back together the mechanic literally dumped a ton of water on the engine block, broke our windshield wiper, and took 45 minutes. My husband and I just stood there in shock.The following day we took the SUV to the dealership to make sure no damage had been made. So not only where we out an outrageous amount on labor we also paid for the dealership to look at it as well.Which, fun fact the dealership charged us less than Keeton did, to do the exact same service. So if its cheaper to go to a brand certified service center, well go that route from now on. Usually auto shops are cheaper than dealerships.Keeton did write us a check for the broken wiper but still...Also! The front desk guy, I cant remember his name, took two or three smoke breaks out in the bay while we waited. Just chilled out leaning on a customers car having a smoke... So if youre going to take your car here, someone may lean on it and have a cigarette.So overall, I feel like as a woman I would have been taken advantage of, our SUV ended up worse than when we brought it in and horrible customer service.The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one was because of Lauren, she was nice over the phone. But thats where customer service ended.(UPDATED)Just spoke with Lauren on the phone regarding this review, she was very friendly and we cleared the air on some of these points.However she made a reference to listening back on the calls so your calls maybe recorded.

Took my car in to them for the first time based solely on the reviews I read. I have been looking for a go to shop and hopefully I have found it. First experience was a very good one. Belle at the front is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I even met the owner who didnt TELL me he was the owner. I had to pry it out of him, which says something about his character. He was out on the floor with his guys wrenching on cars. They sold me what I NEEDED, not what they wanted to sell me to pad their pockets. Needed 4 new tires due to an alignment problem and Belle researched different types for me (specific to my car) and got me a functional, yet wallet friendly tire. Booked my 2nd appointment already for my toy muscle car that they also work on. I recommend... And you would be supporting a local small business!!

What a wonderful experience! As soon as I walked in I was greeted to a wonderful environment. It was clean and had refreshments available. The service was quick and the employees were so nice. This was a perfect place to take my car for an oil change because it was so affordable. We came to Keeton Auto repair with an urgent issue with our car. Even though we had never been there before, they provided high quality service in a quick and friendly manner. Prices are very fair. We intend to use them again and will definitely recommend them to others.

I used them for an oil change, I was pleasantly surprised when they didnt come and try to sell me air filters, etc. But just said, youre cars ready!They let me know about brakes needing service in the near future, but that was it... My only negative, is that I had an appointment for 9 am for an oil change, and I didnt get out of there till about 10:15, so that seemed like a long time to wait for an oil change, when I had an appointment, but other than that, it was clean, the people were friendly and it was an honest assessment of the one thing my car needs... I will definitely go back!

Lets lay out the background. The previous shops that occupied this building had left quite a bad impression with me. I gave each a chance but was constantly bombarded with problems that my truck supposedly had. In some cases I even had receipts that the issues had been fixed days or weeks before, but there was always a well, yeah, but.... Thus I have been a little skeptical since Keatons opened up under the premise that the building was jinxed. Probably not fair, but been burned or had almost been burned in the past. Decided to give them a chance this morning and glad I did. I took my truck in this morning for an overall inspection before a long trip to make sure that there werent any issues that might leave me stranded on the road. Spoke with the owner, David, as well as Mark. I do a lot of the routine wear and tear maintenance on my truck and thus am aware of all the quirks and tendencies of my vehicle. They told me it would take about an hour and they were spot on. They reviewed the diagnostic report with me and were open and honest about the conditions of the vehicle and what services should be done(which I had already had been aware of before I even went in) and which services would be needed at upcoming mileage intervals. No fancy up selling, no high pressure sales pitches. Just fast, honest service and a very fair price. I have to hand it to this operation as they have earned my respect and will certainly be taking my vehicles in for all maintenance issues that I cant do or dont have the time for. Would strongly encourage anyone to give them a shot.

Was charged $150 for just the inspection. Quoted me at $1400 for what “needed” to be done. Took it to a different place and got what actually needed to be done for $300... that was 2 months ago and my car is running great.

Quick response band fair assessment

False advertising. Cheaper on the hourly rate but you get billed 3 X hours. Better take it to a dealer where you get quality service without getting ripped off. Plus I have found there are fake 5 star reviews all over the internet for this place. You should note that good reviews can be bought and this owner has done this. I had high hopes but this place is the same as the rest that have resided here and have failed.

I always receive honest service at a fair price at Keeton. Its a great family owned shop.

I love their super friendly service. I have never been to a more honest and trustworthy repair shop. They were able service my vehicle the same day I called and it was done before I knew it!

They were thorough and used videos to ensure I understood the repairs that were needed.

I brought the car in for a hydraulic hose replacement on my brake lines. They knocked it out of alignment taking the lugs off that they had to extract do to the key was missing. Brought it back for alignment or repair, all they kept repeating its not my fault

Solid locally owned shop. I had an issue they werent sure they could fix and they sent me to the dealership rather than charging me several hours of labor then not being able to fix it.

First time customer and felt that I was treated with respect and that they wanted to help me with my car issues. I just got the car back so it is too early to tell how well they did the job. I’m hoping that all is well and I can go back for future business.

David Keeton has taken care of our whole family of cars for years. This includes my car, my wifes car, and our several childrens cars. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, dedicated, and does an outstanding job. I would very highly recommend him for car repairs, both foreign and domestic.

Keetons treated me fair and prices are low. I took my car to Burnett for a oil change and asked for them to check my breaks. They told me that I needed new break pads and break fluid, they were charging $400 for that repair alone. So I went to keetons for a second opinion without mentioning Burnett and it turns out that nothing was wrong with my breaks. Keetons only suggested to me to get new air filter for my car because mine was completely gone. They only charged me $80 for the new filter and repair. Keetons is the move!

Bell is very upfront with her answers so be ready BUT she says it how she sees it.....I love honesty and being upfront, no dancing around the bushes!Lauren the owner Im pretty sure keeps things running smmothly, keeps the waiting area looking great, with all the latest coffee stuff, maybe has real creamer too, but the coffee machine is totally great...I needed a lift back to the shop from my work and beforte long David the owner came and got me, blew me away. They are just good people there and family owned too! I like that alot... I like it when a business remembers me, in a good way : )The other day I just bought a truck and it was low on coolant, freaked me out, couldnt take the truck back to the dealer so I stopped by explained to Bret what was going on, explained to him I did have an apt 2 days later BUT. Bret went into the shop pulled Cam to the side, explained to him, he came out talked with me, I apologized for stopping his work, he said NO BIG DEAL, GLAD TO HELP! he went to my truck, checked it out and said dont worry I would be ok til the truck was in their shop for inspection. I was so relieved...... I will be back but maybe not too often since I did sell my f150 but bought a Toyota Tundra!

Very nice and honest. Usually I do all the work on my cars because I dont trust shops, however I feel very comfortable with this place. Very recomended

Very Disappointing - Its unfortunate I have to write this, but my experience was disappointing enough to share. I brought my 2009 Infiniti G37x in to have the door lock actuator repaired. My car has been serviced at the Infiniti dealer ship to this point but I wanted to try an independent local outfit. The estimate from Keeton came back at ~$1,100 ; $710 for the part and $310 for labor. It seemed a bit pricey so I called around. I asked if the price was competitive and Mark told me they tried to keep pricing fair.After a little research, I learned the part was $441 from the dealership and labor would only cost an additional $240 more. I received one more estimate and it was similar to the $681 estimate.I declined service and discussed with Mark at Keeton. I was told the part purchased from the dealer by Keeton ($441) was marked up from the dealer and the 3 yr warranty was the reason for the $269 premium. I found this very hard to justify considering another independent had quoted me the same price as the dealer.Im all for the little guy and wanted to go that way, but refused to be raked over the coals.Money is money and I would advise going elsewhere for a fair deal.
