Arrow Foundation Repair of Overland Park, Kansas was very impressed with the work that was completed at Calverts Express Auto Service & Tire in Overland Park. RJ, the Manager, made it his personal mission to see that everything that needed to be repaired on one of our trucks was and was done well. The repairs were done in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. We appreciate the honest and trustworthy service. We will continue to use Calverts in Overland Park.
I have been going to this location since I got my car a couple years ago. They are fine with the technical things; however since I have to spend a half hour or more in the office, I expect a pleasnt receptionist. This new one has absolutely ZERO CUSTOMER LOYALTY SKILLS. She argued with me about my last service, she NEVER made eye contact or smiled, and while she was playing on her phone--not working- she asked me to turn my phone off. THERE WAS A TV on blasting Pit Bulls and Parolees. Why cant i listen to a you tube video? What happened yo the nice woman?
Had issues with office manager concerning my oil change. She insisted I use recommended oil and argued even after I told her I use full synthetic, and just had mechanics do a regular oil change. The next day when I went in after the shop manager said to bring it in to make it right, the office lady argued with me saying i never told her i wanted synthetic and told me they couldnt get to it until much later and sent me away. I love Calverts and will continue to use their services.
The location on Shawnee Mission Parkway serviced my vehicle. I was pleased with the service. I had a oil change and used a coupon. I was in and out in about 45 min. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for other services.
The front desk lady was not friendly. I was in for an oil change and when l left my tire was rubbing in something. I took it back and the guy said it was a piece of plastic. Why were they even by my tire on an oil change? I love local business but I will not be going back.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Lyn, who worked on my daughter’s brakes and took the extra time after hours to finish the job. He also took the time to walk her through how to put the fluids in her car. He really went out of his way and we appreciate his generosity and hard work. It didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks again!
The service on my car was ok. But the office manager for this location was extremely rude! Her tone and mannerism wasn’t welcoming and warm at all! Myself and others noted how she spoke to us and other patrons. And it was pretty disgusting!
I went in for the cooling system. I am an out of state traveler from Texas. It cost $450.00 to have a thermostat replaced. I believe the amount to have been excessive.I was between a rock and a hard place. The day before was Thanksgiving and I needed to be at work on Saturday....did not want to ride around all day looking for a place to get work done.I should have waited all day and KIA would have done the job. I thought I would be in and out at Calverts but was there over three hours.Nick is a rude little man. Several customers left while I was there because of the prices. I wish I had left also. “Bad Business”
I had an oil change coupon for $14.99. When I went to pay, the amount was $34.91. The rude guy behind the counter said oil prices went up. The coupon didn’t state that the amount could change depending on price that I had nothing to do with. I had to pay $20.00 more than I expected. The rude guy told me I could go to other places if I wasn’t happy. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANY SERVICES! There needs to be a law against price gouging.
Always great service. Very professional and repairs right the first time.
Sent my son here because I had used them before. Sorry I did. They told him the oil change deal wasnt good on his car because his car used a different oil. Its a 2010 Honda. Every other place said it was the same oil as any other car. Not even half synthetic. Plain old oil. They charged him more than they should have and lost his future business and mine.
Up front, fixed vehicle in timely manner with lots of issues at a decent price. Thank you!
Expensive! Had a Coupon for a $16 oil change but couldnt use it. They said my Newer car didnt qualify. Spent $79 for a simple oil change, I wont be back!
Hi had my front breaks done and tires rotated, The manager is real good Guy! Really a good group of peeps!! They are cost effective and problem solvers! Luresa at check out was Fantastic! TY culverts express!! SHAWNEE Mission Parkway!
I needed a universal joint replaced in my S-10. Job was too big for a smaller competitor. I learned that there were actually two u-joints so both were replaced. Cost was very reasonable. They did the work immediately while I waited. When done the truck drove very much better - stick vibration problem resolved. I am very happy with their expertise, professionalism, and integrity. I will be a returning customer.
Walmart Auto is out of commision until 2021 so...no more cheap oil changes, it cost about 36 dollars. Not bad.
I had a wonderful man named Paul, who was very kind and professional do the work on my van. I use you drive out south to the Wornell location but going forward I will be doing business at the Shawnee Mission Pkwy. location. Thanks Paul
My family and I have been taking our cars to Calverts for a couple of years now and, honestly, I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on our vehicles! They are friendly, they always discuss what needs to be done, before they do any work and, they have up front pricing. They are fast and do quality work!I would recommend them to anyone from, oil changes to break work, to any other engine repairs and, tire replacement, too!
One reviewer wrote that Calverts Express makes their margin on parts. Yes, they mark up the parts... A LOT. I got an estimate for an intake manifold gasket to the tune of over $700. I got the work done elsewhere for $360. Parts-wise they wanted to charge me $69.00 for a spark plug wire kit - I bought the same brand and model at Advanced Auto for $29.99. They wanted to charge me $39.99 for the intake gasket, the actual price was $14.99. All in all, they doubled and on a few less expensive parts, tripled the mark up on parts. Now, all places mark up parts a little, but this place is INSANE on the mark up. The labor seems reasonable. I had some brakes done here, and the work seemed adequate. I found the service to be good and they were fairly accurate on the time frame they said they would finish in. I always get several estimates and unless you get a coupon deal this place will usually be the worst deal. As for the work itself... It is decent but not a deal. The mechanics seem to do their job right, far as I can tell. The truth is that I have found a new place who will beat any price and always provides me the ACTUAL receipt for parts. I would use Calverts for coupon deals, and nothing else.
Very RUDE! Turned around and walked out and left! Wont go back! Walk in service but the clerks needs to learn how to treat customers! No stars
Went here to fix my brakes. It ended up costing way more than I expected. One hour into driving it again my front passenger side brakes popped off, it stopped my car from moving completely and I had to get my car towed back to them to fix it. They never apologized for it. I will never go back here again. There are better places out there.
Felt a little shady and theyll definitely try to up sell you something. Receptionist was not very welcoming.
We go here mainly out of geographical convenience. There have been some obvious attempts at trying to convince us that we need to pay more: were our own advocates and say no, although it can be annoying and awkward. Weve never had any actual poor work, however. Everything theyve done has been satisfactory. Benji was able to get my tire for me quickly and the work was just fine. The reason for a meh review is that the front desk girl is really unprofessional. I dont particularly like to deal with her specifically because shes incredibly immature in front of and to guests. I dont know that training on etiquette would do much good.
Yikes! Scammers abroad. Look for someone else, they lie about what needs fixing and overcharge by hundreds.
I have several choice words I would use to describe this shop, but in essence what Im feeling is /beyond/ hatred. They caused me several days of raw panic by LYING TO MY FACE about the status of my brakes. I drive an 05 Prius. I originally walked in with a coupon for an oil change was charged an extra $50 for synthetic. When I asked for the complementary brake inspection they gave me an additional ~$675 quote telling me that my brake drums were leaking fluid and that my pads were at 20 and 30% integrity, and that someday soon they would give out and cause me to get into a wreck. The urgency in the mechanics voice caused me to use my emergency brake during the meantime out of fear. Today I took my car to my dealerships service center and was able to verify that the drums and lines were perfectly intact and the pads were at 40 and 50% integrity.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Do NOT give this establishment your patronage.
My experience was great! The office was extremely busy as soon as they opened at 7:30 am. Several people opted to wait on their vehicles, including myself. I felt like the manager and the administrative assistant at the front desk did everything in their power to get each one of us in and out as soon as possible. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The final price was exactly what I had been quoted the day before. I will definitely take my car back for more maintenance. Ive already told people that I know about my experience, and I will continue to tell people. Thanks Calverts on Shawnee Mission Parkway!
DONT GO THERE!!!...THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY
I went into a Calverts last week. I needed to find a place that didnt require an appt, as my brake pads were wearing thin. I waited a little while and the mechanic came inside the waiting area and showed me a list of repairs, regarding all brake parts, totalling 1,152.00. I asked him to just replace the brake pads. I was told that one of the calipers had gotten stuck. He recommended that I not drive my car away from Calverts without getting that problem fixed, along with everything else on that list. Again, I asked only that my brake pads be replaced, which they were. A couple of days later I took my car to another mechanic to check out the caliper issue along with my rotors, drums, and other suggested fixes. Everything this second mechanic looked at was In fine shape. No repairs were recommended. My visit to Calverts last week was my second in about 2 years. The first visit also involved the mechanic telling me that my rotors were bad. But at that time I also just had my brake pads replaced. Again, I knew my rotors were ok but took my car to another mechanic to check out. At that time also, my rotors were fine. I dont know how you people look yourselves in the mirror or how you sleep at night. This way of doing business in unconscionable.
I took my car in the other day because my brake light came on. I took it in and checked in at 1:10pm, and there were two people ahead of me. They said the wait would be around two and a half hours, which I was totally fine with. I didnt wait at the location, I was picked up and went about my day. After about three hours, I had gotten no phone call, and decided to check in. The front desk lady was pretty nice, just telling me they had an issue come up on a car in front of me and that I would be next in line. So about another hour goes by, and I get a phone call from a staff member (I think it was even the owner maybe?) who was super friendly. He informed me he was checking into my brake light and would give me a call back. At this point, it is about 5:00pm. He calls me back a few minutes later and gives me the low down. I told him I had a coupon for 59.99 brake special, and he said it would not apply to the brakes I am needing. Turns into me spending $350 to get my car back to normal. I told him the coupon I had that wasnt applicable included a free oil change, and he went ahead and honored that so I was really appreciative. He was able to get my car finished pretty quickly, and I ended up picking it up just before they closed at 6pm. Just sucked that my two and a half hour wait turned into almost 5-- and I spent a couple hundred more than expected. Overall, they were friendly and took care of what I needed. Prices seemed pretty good for other services (oil change, etc).
It was a joke. I was in parking lot with employees for two hours past open. Dont know if they open. I left upset. It was my anniversary day.
Love Calverts. Traded with them for about 3 years. Always did an excellent job on breaks, oil changes, and other major jobs. Reasonably priced. First come first serve.
Not only have had a bad experience with Calvert’s but almost everyone I have ever spoken to has had the same experience. I even gave for warning to others to later explain there problems.
These guys are crooked and liars. I do maintenance on my own car when time and weather permits. Brought my car in to take advantage of their $59.99 Brake Special. Its cold, and I dont want to change my 30,000 mile old brakes myself. Im told that my rotors are trashed and they want to charge me almost $400 for this. I politely refuse and ask they just do the pads, and I would sign the waiver for the other work and warranty. Im then advised Im just going to have my car returned to me. So I changed my breaks myself, like I usually do, and the rotors still look great. Had two of my veteran automobile industry friends with me too, and the 3 of us looked in astonishment at the condition of my rotors seeing as Id just been refused service for them being in terrible shape. Avoid these guys. They are not honest and will try to coerce you into work you dont need.
This place is horrible! I had them put new rotors on the back of my pregnant wife’s Ford Edge a couple weeks ago. Now they are rusted and making noise when driving. I just brought it in and the manager is telling me that there is nothing wrong with it that they are not replacing them and got an attitude with me. The receptionist was cussing about someone on the phone most of the time I waited. Do not use this place!!! I got the front brakes done at Lenexa automotive and they look and work great. I was told I have to bring it back when they can hear the noise. So I will have to go through all of this again. What a joke.
I called ahead and was told I would be able to walk in for an oil change. When I arrived about 20 minutes later, the front desk person casually told me it would be a 5 hour wait! When I asked why she didn’t tell me that on the phone, she said all the cars had JUST come in. I know this happens sometimes but 5 hours was just too extreme. If the waits are commonly that long, they should consider appointments. The receptionist was also on Facebook on her phone at the desk, was unapologetic, and called me “honey” in a tone I felt was patronizing. I left and went to Valvoline, which cost a bit more but took only 20 minutes and the staff were much more friendly and professional. I’d recommend others do the same.
I do NOT know why am I giving one star to these liars. Google please let us put no star. These people are sending $59.99 brake specials, so I wanted to benefit for my new car that had 14000 miles on it. Believe or not, they said that my rotors are trashed and they wanted to charge me $400 to replace it. I did not do it, and went to another place to replace the brake pads, they replaced it without doing anything with my rotors. They said they are in perfect condition. Stay away from these place!!!
Good price good quick service
Went in with a coupon they sent me for a $16 oil change, but the fine print said the coupon was only for a very specific oil type not compatible with my car. Clearly a shady and intentional tactic by the company as a whole.
I had my first experience with Calverts and this may be my last. I had an issue with the coolant tank on my car leaking and had to have it replaced. I asked if they would be able to address an issue with my ABS system warning light. They said they could. I spoke with Chris who said theyd run a test to diagnose the problem and give me a quote. They never called me and and when I went to pick up my car for the coolant issue they had also done the repair on the ABS system adding an additional $350 to my bill. In the future I will tell others to be clear to fix only what is said that is wrong.
These guys are awesome, Danny put tires on my Sienna and took the time to remove my oil pressure switch and install it correctly because the dealership had screwed it up and it was leaking everywhere. Asked me not to tell his boss!! Thats service!! Hope your boss doesnt read the reviews Danny!! Lol.
I wish I could give a zero. I paid 367.00 6 months ago to replace my brakes and rotors on the front ONLY. They tried to say I needed both back breaks and rotors also. But I couldnt afford both. So when my brakes started acting up I assumed it was the back. No.....back is just fine but the ones they supposedly replaced brand new are shot!!! Only 6 months later!!!!! So Ive come to the conclusion that either 1. They never did them and I paid them for nothing or 2. They did a horrible job! Never take your car here!
Service was good but told me one price but at check out it was a different price .call the main office. x 2 no call back.
At my old location this wasnt a problem. Here however BE WARNED if you are using the coupon its for 5W30. They will say, you want to go with the 5W20 on that?. And you will say yes because oil is oil. Its not. My $20 oil change became $31. Buyer beware. I found that incredibly deceitful.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE AT ALL! These are no mechanics, these people are just monkeys in suits. Nobody there knows what they are talking about. My friend had ask if they could rebuild his carburetor because it was flooding and they thought he meant he drove it underwater. If someone with little car knowledge can tell you what a carb is and these professionals cant, something is wrong here.
Great place if you need to stop in for a quick oil change.
1. Customer entrance locates in the middle of the shop where there are large amounts of highly flammable products, including air fumes and all over the floor. As I entered, the manager greeted me while SMOKING A CIGARETTE!2. Although I had received confirmation that I could get an oil change and have a flat tire repaired shortly after 4PM, I was told that an $800 job had arrived ahead of me and could not service my car.3. After I asked for the managers supervisor, he eventually greeted me with, whats your problem? and I told him that my tire was completely flat and asked them to honor their commitment at least partially. His response was, I can air your tire and you can go back to wherever you came from.4. I still havent heard from the district manager.
What a bunch of low life con artists! My disabled wife took her car there to get an oil change on her 2012 Mazda6 and they told her they couldnt do the oil change unless she got the synthetic oil at a $50 upcharge. Also after she left she now has traction control lights on in her dash. They must have unhooked an ABS sensor to try to get her to come back and by something she doesnt need. Its her birthday tomorrow and we are leaving on a trip but this will screw it up if I cannot locate what they did. What a bunch of degenerates!
Were quick to serve
Check them out, youll feel secure you did.
Took our car to Calverts on Wednesday because we found a coupon for new brakes with service for $60. After James looked over the car for a moment, he determined that the coupon did not apply to the cars needs and that it would actually cost $587 for new brakes. The car is a 2001 Chevy. But we need brakes, so he asked for $100 to order the part. After leaving (near closing time) and discussing it, we decided not to go forward with the repairs. Called back the next morning when they opened to notify them that we would not be using them for repairs and was notified that we could not get our $100 back. The part had not been ordered and, even if it had, auto repair shops return parts ALL THE TIME. I called back again to ask James what exactly the $100 was for if the repairs were not going to be done AND we could not collect the part. He said that it was for ordering the part. Now Ive never worked at an auto shop, but in other companies where frequent orders/shipments are being made, the company DOES NOT pay for individual shipping. Im certain this is the case at Calverts, but theyre business practices are obviously crooked. After writing reviews to warn potential customers NOT TO DO BUSINESS HERE, I am going to file a complaint with Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley and urge anyone who has suffered loss of hard earned money for no reason to Calverts. Thieves should not be tolerated and handled by the proper authorities.
Over filled the oil by one (1) full quart. 😬
STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!! This place is the worst mechanic in the city. Take your car somewhere else and dont fall for their bait and switch coupons they send everyone
Ive been coming here for the past 5 years and as long as you ONLY need an oil change, they do well and the wait time isnt awful. However... For the past year, I get diagnoses from my dealership (cheaper) and then take it to get worked on here. I have lost count as to how many times theyve misdiagnosed the issue, tack on additional needed work, and have become completely intolerable in terms of customer service. In one of many examples, they call to tell me that I need one new tire. I drive to the shop to see theyve added 2 tires to my quote..... 3 of the 4 were brand new soooo, lets be real here. I just got new brakes and they told me I need knew ones. I simply cannot do anything but oil changes here.
Very slow and over priced. Would not recommend anybody to this location
Never will I get my car fixed there or oil change here they charge over a $100 for a oil change and dont even top off the other fluids for full service they want to charge for everything they do Ive paid less for full service elsewhere I went here for a last minute oil change and they werent that good of a place 😒 they didnt like it either that I was watching them the whole time they were working on my car I told them they break anything they will fix it free.
I really like the Calverts Express on Rodgers Road. They always work me in and try to save me time and money. They only fix what I need fixing and only suggest what might need looking at next time. The Calverts Express on Shawnee Mission really upset me. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The manager came back and told me my car needed all new tires and needed new breaks all the way around. I change my own brake pads and get it all done about $45 a wheel. He ofcorse said it will cost $59.99 per wheel, which saved me @ $15.00 x four ($60).
Bad customer service! The front desk person acted as if it was an inconvenience that I was there for an oil change even though I called ahead to see how late do they take customers and was told 530 which I was there right at 5pm. Had to wait until she was done doing what she was doing before she got my name and vehicle info. She asked me 2 different times if I had been there before and I responded. Had I not had a coupon I would have left right then. After she gave my keys to the guys she kinda just disappeared into the back or wherever. They brought my keys in and I was ready to pay and leave but had to wait even longer because whatever she was doing was obviously more important than helping a customer. Finally, after almost 10minutes, the mechanic came in and said I was all set to go and started to ring me up, my coupon had not been deducted so he kindly took care of it, thanked me, and sent me on my way. Will NOT return to this location.
Thanks for being a trustworthy company and thank God for second opions. You would have charged me over 700.00 more than I needed to pay and it wasnt even the right part. I have used your services for years and almost every charge was 500.00 plus. Bad business 😐
If I could give them a 0 thats more than they deserve.Went in with their coupon for $14.99 oil change & $59 brake job. They told me I needed a new rotor so 1 rotor & back brakes was over $300 so I passed on their brakes. They never told me any difference on oil but when given bill was charged $79.99 when I asked why when I had coupon they said it was synthetic oil. REALLY!Plus receptionist is lazy & just disgustingly nasty lady..used bathroom & was in bathroom heaving but never washed hand before coming out & touching my paperwork. Reported to their corporate but too sorry to return my phone call
Best oil change in town
PLEASE, for your own sake, DO NOT go here. Today I went to Calvert’s Express Overland Park. I brought my coupon for a $16.99 oil change, and I couldn’t use it because apparently my 2012 Chevrolet Sonic REQUIRES full synthetic oil which makes a $50 price difference. I’m young and haven’t learned much about cars, and I was only there for a simple oil change so I figured they would be telling me the right things. I waited for about an hour, until Chris, one of the car mechanics approached me at the counter and explained to me that my one year old tires ALL needed to be replaced. LOL. I paid for my oil change and went on my way. I drove home and stayed there until I decided I needed some lunch. When I went to go start my car, IT WOULD NOT START. My “check engine” light was also lit up. How ironic, right? Before my oil change my car was perfectly fine. I have had the car for a year and I have had no issues. While I was trying to start my car, I called Calvert’s and told them what was going on. The lady transferred me to Chris and I then told him what was going on. His response *insert condescending tone* “Anything can happen 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after a service and it is NOT our fault”. My response: “Clearly it was something that you guys did because my car was perfectly fine before the oil change”. His response: *VERY condescending tone* “Clearly? Like, so clear it’s crystal clear and you can see it?” He then continued to yell at me and hung up on me. I was SHOCKED. I have NEVER had any sort of experience like this. After I FINALLY got my car to start, I got myself to an AutoZone 2 minutes from my home. They ran a diagnostic test on my engine, and the problem was found in the Crankshaft Position Sensor, which is the part that runs the oil. IS THIS STILL MY FAULT? The nice man at AutoZone researched my car AND checked the cap on my car that obviously stated what kind of oil my car takes, and it turns out my car does not take full synthetic oil (the kind that cost me $50 more than the one my car actually takes). I guess their service rate is so low they have to scrounge $50 from an innocent customer. No worries, Calvert’s will be shut down soon enough. The man at AutoZone was in complete shock after I explained what had happened. He was very knowledgeable and helpful unlike Calvert’s. I am only 19 years old, so I gave my mother all of this information, and she tried calling them. They refused to speak with her and hung up TWICE. I have spoken with corporate, and so has my mother. We are both waiting for our response. I am currently trying to figure out how to fix my car as Calvert’s is refusing to help me. Wish me luck, and please do not go here!! UPDATE: I took my car to Firestone and they told me there was only 1 quart of oil in my car, which holds 5 quarts. I also had an unplugged sensor. I am now paying for ANOTHER oil change because Calvert’s didn’t even give me one! They just Lolli-gagged around until that hour was up!
Claimed they required me purchase synthetic oil for my car. I took it to another shop down the street and they were able to change my oil without synthetic. Saved me $40.
Fair prices and speedy service
Just avoid it at all costs, nothing positive to mention here.
Good price fast service
I came in because I keep hearing sounds was not quite sure what it is they looked at it and told me my car needs brakes and pads total $730.00 I told him my brakes are new I almost believed him but something didnt sound right, I toke to different shop and my bearings needs to be replacedThese guys are not honest and really dont what the hell trying to convince me to change my brakes and change me this much ripp off. My advice stay away
The parts are extremely high and I had a dog run out in front of us after just spending over 500.00 at Calvert having my breaks done and what happens...a cylinder gets blown and the mechanic said it would cost me another 355.00 for brake drum, cylinder, and shoe. Then to top it off my starter went out and they charged me another 256.00 but it is very hard to start now and most people besides me cant even start it and my brake light was still on when I picked it up after them fixing my brakes. Not sure what one can do about it tho. The mechanics are very nice and I dont believe they work on things that dont need it but you will pay big big for parts.
Went in for an an oil change, told the receptionist what service I was looking to purchase and her response was it aint gon be today that was just the beginning..from there her attitude and service was just appalling. Ive had bad customer service before but hers was so far below par. Meanwhile, while they were supposedly so busy the 2 service men had enough time on their hands to stare out the garage windows and chat/goof around the whole time I was in the office. I chose not to get service from Calverts.
Usually fast service for oil change and tire rotation. Good price.
I am not able to find rating in negative, otherwise would have given them minus infinity. All jerks at this location, there was a old man who inspected my brakes and asked me to change 1000$ worth of other thing along; otherwise he wont change the brake.Really??Also the brake pad change doesnt include labour charges; so you are looking for 119$ for ceramic front brakes if you are trying to utilise 79.99$ coupon price of theirs; horrible people and liars..NEVER EVER GO TO THEM...
Had a great experience with Calverts. John was very detailed on what needed to be repaired. Very Professional and nice to deal with.
I called to ask about oil change woman said yes come on in, I explained was driving from Olathe. Drove across City I get there she says cant today. Dont trust this location!
Quick, professional service
1 paid $200 for nothing they had my car for hours all they did was drive my car. Rip off
If i could id rate it a zero my fiancé took his car in a few months ago to do a thermostat change an on average should take 2 2.5 hrs took them 6 hrs to do its still over heating an my father who us a mechanic has done a block test also took it to a different shop blead the line did another block test still over heats took it back now they refuse to change the thermostas back out on top of all that the manager is rude as hell
No stars if possible. They send out coupons to get you in the door so they can rack up the charges. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to give your money away. The coupons they send out are a scam. Luckily I walked away, Without giving away any money. There are to many options within 2 miles of here that do excellent work. Cough Eilenbergers. firestone... I was short on time and wanted to use the oil change coupon thats only good for 1 specific weight of oil.I see this response from the owner. The reviews speak for themselves.Literally 5w 30 to 5w 20. sorry coupon not valid. Sorry if your car doesnt take 5w 30 just throw the coupon away.. I mean to honor the coupon and charge for extra quarts is pretty standard. However thats not the case here. 120k miles a year I drive. this wasnt my first oil change not even in the last 30 days.
I called 10 minutes before i came in and the receptionist said they dont make appts and to just come in, but there was about a 2 hour wait.. no problem ..ill be right in..i get there n there are 2 cars in the shop ..period ..no one waiting. No other cars...all i needed was a oil change..but the lady behind the counter who seems to hate her job..informs me they arent taking anyone else for the rest of the day..really?? Cause i see absolutly no one waiting and only 2 cars here..especially seeing you take no appts?... hum??? If u didnt want to take any more cars for the day could u not have told me that on the phone?.. what a waste of a trip..thought i would give them a second chance but they fail again😤
The worst Auto service ever. I broight my car to oil change and told 2 hoirs wait. When I come back in two hours, she saidd now 3 hours wait! I told her that she had told me 2 hours and ahe said they are doing Engine, and come back tomorrow. I was pissed.
Christy is Terrific and the service was very quick and affordable. First time here and definitely not the last time.
(Not so EXPRESS!!!) I was attempting to get the 59$ brake service... (rear only) Which is now looking set to be $99.00 for the ceramic pads... + $50 for the labor to install the breaks, (Even though their coupon page clearly States, Labor included - but because Im not getting the cheaper,Express package option (not available for my Nissan Altima the 60 to 70$ break job will be almost $200! There coupons dont mean a thing! THEY wont even honor midass 1/2 of prices on ceramic break pads! Had to beg to even get a 10% off... posted ALL OVER THEIR COUPON PAGE .. Experience... upsetting. On HR 3 of a 45 min quote.....never ever ever going back together.D-
Very nice staff; they went above and beyond what I expected
Long waiting periods and dont pre tell you that economy breaks will squeek. They might as well not even sell them. The receptionist was nice.
I had a free oil change coupon for my birthday, since the Olathe location closed I had to go all the way to this location. When I arrived the person working told me I had to get synthetic so it will cost me $54 and some change. I asked him for conventional and he told me couldnt do that based on my car, I have always gotten conventional. I called the mgmt in Lenexa who said I should be able to get conventional and that the district manager would call me within 24hrs. No one has called me. I went to Jiffy Lube and they did an excellent job. Calverts has officially lost my business.
They fixed my vehicle, gave me great customer service, and literally Wowed me!
Great customer service and they did a excellent job on my breaks in a timely fashion.
Prices seemed competitive. However, Staff werent very friendly. I came in for oil change and found out i needed other maintenance. Staff were in a rush when i said i needed a minute to call my wife and give go ahead. But then waiting around for 3 hours for services to be done.Waiting area was not clean.Coffee was by no means kept fresh. Front desk didnt have alot of experience with customers questions.
Didnt have to wait long at all for my oil change
Dont go to this place they have over charged me on top of that they have messed up my car .
They didnt understand what my girlfriend was asking for. She asked for the same thing they did to her kia which cost 0$ to give it a look over on there free break inspections. They tried to charge me 80$ to just check why the light was on (orielys does it free I wanted the tires checked also on my newer cars why I brought it in). Manager was really rude and basicaly didnt care that there was a mistake and said I couldnt have my car till I paid (I did not pay still got my car). Manager in raytown was helpful when I called to complain and got corps number to file a complaint. As of now I will never visit there location now and wouldnt trust them to work on a tricycle.
BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!!!! If I could give a half star I would and only for the fact that the office attendant was polite! Nick tried to screw me out of just about $700 for brake pads and rotors for my vehicle. I called another Calverts closer to my house who could do the same job for $200 less! So of course I called back and said that was my plan and Nick called the other store and got an attitude with them about how they were able to get me that deal! He called me back to say he would price match it with a $10 difference due to taxes. I was at work and not going to make a decision spur of the moment so when I got off I called and told him I was taking my car elsewhere and copped a disgusting attitude and hung up on me! They are total thieves there! I would never recommend going to this store ever! Disappointning attitudes, zero respect for customers, and a conartist!
Dont every take your car here to get it worked on i took it there to get it fix then brought it back home it started to make a Noise it never made before they just try to get money out of you I took it back so they can f ix the noise they caused talking about another 300 after I just gave them 350 fix it the first time smdh should of listen to the reviews I read but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but no more will i do that again
I needed a tire and they were able to get me in and out for a pretty good price.
They jacked up the work they did ok my car which was a crazy surprise because I always go to calverts and usually I get A+ service and quality work.... Just didnt happen at this location
Calverts can fix any problems you have.
Do not go here for any car repairs I would not waste your time and money they do not know what they are doing and will scam you out of your money we went in for break pads and left charred with 400$ of work that didnt need to be done and the pads were still bad in face we pulled them off the car afterwards and they were pretty much metal on metal even tho they told us they were fine I will repeat do not go here
They are liars they changed the price for exe I gave the coupon to change oil cost 14.99 she want to charged me 32 for what I don’t know I will not be here Again there many at her places u can change ur oil cheaper than here
I took my truck there twice to fix an idling problem and spent about $1,600, my truck is not any better. I came back a 3rd time but they were to busy to help me.... I was forced to take it else where to fix the problem.
Only got 3 stars from me, and the reason is ..the first time I went in they had excellent, and fast service..the next time I went in they took forever and overcharged me ..they say they have a 59$ brake special ..but when you get in there they say those brakes wont work on your car and before you know it, your rotors are bad, your calipers are bad, and you end up paying 300$ for 45min of work ...Lesson learned ...not going back there
Very helpful best service around
Rude. Unprofessional. Expensive for service
