What a wonderful group of people! I walked in off the street with a flat tire and was immediately greeted with a smile and fast service. They took my car right in, changed the tire and sent me on my way! The whole ordeal took maybe an hour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

These guys go above and beyond for me everytime I find myself in a vehicle crisis. From an oil change, a random flat tire or extremely bad breaks they’re here and do their best to get my vehicle in and out without breaking the bank. Being a female and bringing your car into the shop can be intimidating but these guys will treat you like family and do what they can for you, everytime! I won’t go anywhere else and recommend them to everyone!

Always a good experience when I go here. Even though they were busy, I didnt have to wait more than a minute or two before they brought my car in. Courteous & knowledgeable employees as well as a clean waiting room makes for an all around good experience.

This was my third trip to Oswego Mavis after moving here in October 2020. First time was for four good radials to get me through the winter. Their service and advice was great. The next time was for an oil change and they noticed my car was past due for inspection - they politely asked if I wanted them to inspect it - I did. The last time there was an issue with my muffler and it turned out it just needed two bolts. They didnt charge me for their time.I have been taken advantage of by mechanics many times. I am a woman and not very knowledgeable about cars. They could have found other problems or made them up. They dealt with me courteously and respectfully and I have a sense this is their very good business model. I will return for sure!

This facility took care of me immediately. I had hit a pot hole in the city and my tire went completely flat. I took it to them around the corner from where it happened and they brought it in and put my spare on so that I could get home. I dropped it off the next day and they fixed it. Tyler, the manager, was professional, attentive and would highly recommend taking your vehicle there.

So there is not enough I can say about mavis tire. They are very polite and professional. They have a vast knowledge of the work that they perform. I would like to say that since February 2020, I have used Mavis, for all of my vehicle service needs, and have been met by some of the finest. most courteous, respectful, well versed and knowledgeable gentlemen. Anytime I call, my appointments are made as expeditiously as possible, my vehicle is returned clean, no grease anywhere in the vehicle,. I am treated with the utmost respect through the entire process from the moment I walk through the door, I am known my name, the service techs discuss any issues with me, the service managers assist me with questions, quotes, and scheduling my routine service in advance when possible. I could not ask for a better more well honed group of men, to provide my vehicle needs from receiving through delivery. They all seem to work very well together, and are efficient and timely.

Had an oil change done today by Noah. Hes been working on my cars for as long as I can remember, and not once have I had a problem. He goes above and beyond every time.

This place is saving grace! We were traveling up to Oswego and happened to hit a nail. We pulled into Mavis and spoke to Tom who helped us immediately. We were told an hour wait time. Literally, 5 minutes later an employee comes out and says “we’re ready to take your car”. Amazing experience, Tom was personable and sympathetic to our situation. Highly recommend and will seek them out for help if we are in a bind again with our vehicle.

I scheduled an appointment online for snow tires after spending a lot of time researching the best ones for my car. When Mavis was unable to order my tires, they called to let me know rather than wait until I got to the shop. I really appreciate that they asked if I wanted different tires, and were not pushy when I said no. I will definitely look here first when I need new all season tires.

Went to get my oil changed less then 2 months ago. They said they changed everything. Well, I have a good friend of mine look at my car because it was acting up. Co.e to find out they did not even put the right oil in my car, they put 3 quarts and my car calls for 5. They also put bulk oil in and my car take synthetic oil. They also put 5w 20 and my car takes 2w30. So I will not be going back.

Last time they changed my oil they over tighten the drain bolt on the oil pan. This time I was going to do my own oil change but could not get it loose. I already had the oil and filter. So I brought it there for them to try and they got it after 25.min And they did the oil change and never charged me a cent! Great customer service! Great people all around.

Great customer service. I made the mistake of going somewhere else 6 months ago but Im glad I came back.

After being told by about 10 other shops that they were booked up for NYS inspections into December, Mavis got me in the next morning. Everyone was courteous and the service was fast - I walked in at 8:01 and was back in my car at 8:55! I will be going back when I need service.

Mavis in Oswego does great work! Super timely, and always very pleasant! Tom handled my fiancée’s brakes a day EARLIER than our scheduled appointment, and let us know exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost us. They’ve also hooked me up with a different mechanic that they trusted for wrk they weren’t able to do in shop. I won’t bring my car or my fiancée’s car anywhere else!
