Improper programming of pentair easy touch controller and pumps. Not to schedule one run time inside another this causes a conflict in run times and speeds. Heating systems are automation active only in pool or spa scheduled run times. Aux run times for pump disable climate control automation.

I concur with Dave. Bluepoint started off well by taking care of my green pool due to mesquite trees. After that, it all went progressively downward. There was no follow up except intermittent invoices. Yep, I didn’t even receive my paid invoices each month.The tech was over-scheduled and hardly spent any time on my pool. Then two teenagers began showing up on a different day of the week. They spent a few minutes and left, for several weeks.I found another pool service and cancelled on July 7. Since I had just paid $130 on July 1, I asked about a refund. It took me several e-mail attempts, and I finally received a response that refunds take up to 30 days. They said they will be in touch. Here I sit, nearly day 50, and nothing. But guess what? I won’t go away.

I previously had a one-man pool guy. He was great. Unfortunately, but understandably, he chose to work exclusively in housing developments to cut down on his travel time and he phased out service to the neighborhood where I live.So....based on reviews.. I decided to go with Bluepoint. For starters, it was 25% more than what I had paid, but I figured it might be worth it. I met the owner, who promised me many things they could/would/might do. First problem: there was never any follow-up to these promises even though I had expressed an interest in resolving a specific issue. With brown stains in my pool, I later pointedly asked the pool tech to tell his office I wanted to talk about the possibility of removing the stains....the office never got in contact with me. Second problem: when I met the new pool tech, he casually informed me that he knew basically nothing whatsoever about pool pump settings/programming and had zero recommendations -- this was a first. The 2 prior pool services had people who knew exactly how to program pool pumps (as necessary), and would fine tune things as needed (if you know what youre doing, this takes about 2 minutes at most). One guy they sent was some high school kid who obviously had zero interest in the job he was doing. Third problem: the regular pool tech spent, on average, 6-9 minutes on each visit...thats it (I timed it every week I was here). How do you check and maintain a pool with a weekly 6-9 minutes visit? Answer: you dont. Last visit was for 15 minutes, the first time I ever recorded him breaking 10 minutes. Sweeping of pool was cursory at best. He would always leave as quickly as possible and never took his time on anything. All of the skimmer adjustments and automatic pool clean adjustments were up to me.I finally called Bluepoint to cancel. To my amazement, no one asked me either why or if I was happy (or not) with the service.I wasnt, and, based on my personal experiences, cannot recommend this service. A company that appears mostly focused on maximizing profit at the expense of service.

This company is fantastic. They also came out on New Years Eve and helped me figure out what was wrong with my pool heater and fixes it within a week for a reasonable fee. My prior pool service company told me nothing was wrong with my heater even after I told them about the noise, vibration and that the service light was coming on. Bluepoint is wonderful. Everyone I talked to were professional and pleasant

These people are horrible. They don’t show up on time or the same day. They change technicians without letting you know. Their technicians break things once a year to charge you thousands of dollars. Unprofessional staff they don’t call or text they send emails all of the sudden. They stop service without even sending notifications via mail. The workers are rude and the owner is a crook. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE they are also over priced.

My pool pump and filter were struggling to keep my pool clean and I was constantly fighting to keep the filter working. I called Matt and Ryan with Bluepoint Services and the Hunt boys were able to get me not only the best pump and filter combo for my set up they were also the best price in town. They had the install set up for 2 days later and the installer Noah came out and was very professional. He was great with my dogs, cleaned up after himself and even painted the piping to match the new set up. Very professional, very clean, very happy! 10/10 would use again. Thanks team!

Yesterday, Noah, as scheduled showed up and replaced our old sand filter with a Clean and Clear Plus 420 Sqft Cartridge Filter. He called 15 minutes prior and let us know he was on his way. He was very friendly and professional and provided very high quality work. Id say it took him about an hour to an hour and a half and we are very happy with the work that was done. Ive been using Bluepoint Pool Services for over 3 years for regular cleaning and maintenance and am a very happy customer.

BluePoint pools has been in charge of my weekly pool cleaning and general maintenance for the last two years and done a terrific job! Though I do my own pool cleaning and chemistry, I had Bluepoint disconnect our pump and filter while a new pump pad was laid. They then returned to reinstall that equipment and fixed a couple of leaks they discovered. Noah was extremely good at communicating, following up with needed parts and scheduling visits. Weve also worked with Gary on having a new RayPak heater quoted. Every time Ive dealt with Bluepoint Pools had been a pleasure. I highly recommend them.

I requested a detailed report of what the problem was and it was told to me that there was a leak in the pipe. That information, my pool maintainence person already knows and knows it to a much closer area than what your guy presented.We are talking to another pool company who is able to use their technology to pin point the exact location of the leak...that is the kind of service i would expect when i am paying so much for it.

In addition, the installing technician reviewed all functions of our system and assisted in setting up an app on our cellphone and computer. The system capabilities and performance parameters were supplied to us prior to installation. System will show true savings monetarily over the next year or two. All applicable manuals and invoices were thoroughly explained in detail.

Triple whammy of poor communication, long delays to get quotes, and inadequate trouble-shooting on the problem with my heater. They were a bit salty when I expressed frustration... saying the heater not working wasnt their fault... even when it was a component that was installed too close to another (which they installed/sigh). Their solution was to order more parts for it...Ended up calling Ambiance Pool and they fixed it in 20 mins with no extra parts needed. Cant recommend.

Just got off the phone with the customer service rep who told me to stop talking?...Saw his new estimate to fix my pool light that he repaired last month $435 this time?...only $77 last time I did not pay the bill as it worked 3 nights before blowing out. I have replaced the bulb and seal in the past and recognize how tricky it can be..so I called professionals...WRONG! Not these guys folks..call everyone in the book first.

These guys are the specialists. My pool was acting up because of debris clogged in the impeller. They figured it out and all looks great. The technician also recommended ways to improve the use of pool cleaner by means of a vac mate to maximize water circulation and vacuuming at the same time. He was well informed about what insurance will pay. They will be coming back to replace my pressure gauge that is also faulty.
