I had such a good experience, the staff is so good with the customers. They are very friendly and helpful they care and take good care of your car and they are very efficient in what they do. Austin at the front is so nice and friendly he welcomes everyone with a smile and a caring conversation and Scott worked on my car he did such a good job and really looked over my car and let me know what was going on and what I needed to do and i appreciated that, but all the guys there are good at what they do they take there work serious. I had another great experience when I brought my Ford truck in for suspension, engine idle, and brake work. All items were addressed professionally and I wasn’t “sold up” for suspension work, being told the struts were still OK. The guys over here are so friendly- especially Austin. Super good moods - both when I called yesterday end of day and when brought my car in this morning. I made an appointment for 10a Monday September 20th,a simple oil change.I arrived promptly at 9:56a,all bays are full.I went in inquiring about my appointment,he tried to make up some lame excuse as to why they weren’t ready to service my car.Don’t take appointments if you have no intention of honoring them!Im definitely done with you people,too bad, I was a loyal customer.

My husband and I took my car to get an alignment after getting new tires from Discount Tire. I appreciated that they were able to do my alignment and get us in before closing however my alignment is way off and seems worse than before. Like I mentioned, we did go in 1 hour before closing on a Saturday so they did seem like they were in a rush to go home but if that was the case, they should’ve just told us they couldn’t do it that day and we would’ve completely understood. Whoever answered the phone before taking my car in was very nice and professional so at least the customer service was good.

Scott is a great mechanic and takes very good care of my 1953 Chrysler. Austin and Adam are very friendly and skilled at keeping the place running. Ill be using Brake Masters 204 a lot in the future.

Before coming to this Brake Masters, Ill admit I was under the impression that national chain mechanics were always going to charge more and do less to fix your car. Ill be the first to admit that I had succumbed to believing the common stereotypes before going into this.So I ended up at this Brake Masters not out of choice but by chance. My car was overheating and would not settle down, it was Friday afternoon and I needed the car to get to work on Sunday. They were the closest place open on a Saturday, I soon learned the goodness doesnt stop there. Next morning the crew was very attentive to me and immediately took my car in, in reasonable time called me with exactly what was wrong withy car--and it wasnt as bad as I had feared. It was repaired and I was able to drive it away THAT AFTERNOON. I was so relieved.The crew was very nice and respectful and I dont feel like I was ripped off. That says a lot coming from somebody who is usually the skeptic when it comes to paying for services.This Brake Masters has won my loyalty and I will always go to them for my car needs. Thanks!

I have been came to Brake Master to do oil change about a year. I made an appointment the day before and I came the next day even half hour early. However, they told me they are behinded and need a couple hours to do it. You tell me why do I bother to make an appointment if the waiting time is the same as usual. Took my Chevy work truck here for worn from suspension parts . They quoted me $2,200 for the repairs . I decided to get a second opinion. Other shop did the same repairs, with 2 extra ball joints for $1200 . Not saying they were ripping me off .. they have a right to charge what they want .The counter guy was condescending too, that helped me walk out quicker ..won’t be back !

At first, I thought they were exaggerations, but if at best it might cost me the same and I would receive better work and good customer service (like everyone raved), it might be worth the drive. This brake masters has taken good care of our cars and I feel like they are honest and helpful. They arent pushy about getting optional things done either. Sometimes the wait for an oil change can be a little long, but Target is around the corner to keep us busy.

Id read a vast number of positive reviews about this location, so I scheduled and brought my car in yesterday for a brake fluid flush. The gentleman who helped me at the counter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. And the price paid for the service I received couldnt be beat. I will definitely be back!

I went in to get my a/c system diagnosed and the customer service was great. So great that I got my a/c fixed, a wheel alignment and my oil changed. I had a few issues with some of the work that was done on my car and because of those issues I say, Id never go back there again. Well, once I presented the issues to manager Adam he went out of his way and did everything within his power to correct thoes issues. Not only did he go out of his way, he also bent over backwards to offer me a great deal to fix another issue I had with my car. This is a great example how great customer service can fix anything. Brake Master’s Store 204 is outstanding. The Manager Adam is always friendly and works hard to get my vehicles in and repaired around my busy schedule. I have never felt pressured to purchase more services than I requested like at other repair shops. The shop’s Master Mechanic Scott personally called me and explained exactly what I needed to get done right then and what could wait. When I picked up my car he took the time to show me what was fixed and the parts they replaced. These guys are first class and have a customer for life.

I recently went to this shop to get a brake job done. I explained why I need new brakes and they said they’ll check it out. After diagnosis they gave me an eta of about 1 and 1/2 hours. I headed to a couple stores near by and arrived back in about 45 minutes, my car was out of the garage and I was told the job was done. The first thing I checked was my brake fluid, still the same old and dirty fluid, and I was charged for a brake system flush.... So I went back in and addressed the issue, the guy took it and parked in front of the garage, not even inside and it took him about 5 minutes to “flush my system.” It takes about 30 minutes for an experienced mechanic to flush your brake system completely. I knew exactly what he did, all he did was remove the brake fluid from my master cylinder, no flush was performed. So I had to come back twice because they charged me for a procedure they did not perform, got my money back and had them do the job correctly. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. I had to go in for a THIRD time for a job that should’ve been done correctly the FIRST time. I had excessive squealing noises from my front brakes very shorty after, so I went to a different brake masters and had them re-machine my rotors, re-replace my pads, and re-flush my brake system all for free. Shops like this rely on your ignorance and profit off of it. Well they lost money and time by trying to take advantage of me, if you care about your vehicle find an honest shop or someone you know that is an experienced, and honorable mechanic, don’t waste your time and hard earned money here!

I took my old truck in for a brake inspection. I previously had taken it to Brake Max about a year ago, and they said brakes were about 30% and quoted me high prices.The guys here at Brake Master were honest and very helpful. They got me right into the garage and even took me to show me how good my brakes were. Very honest people, which is hard to fine. Highly recommend them.

I came in for an oil change and overall vehicle check. Ended up adding on a coolant flush and some AC service. My experience wasnt perfect, as there were a few issues that came up. However, Adam (store manager) was exceptionally professional, courteous, and really went out of his way to make sure I left the shop satisfied. Its easy to give 5 stars when everything goes well, but much harder to do so when things dont quite go as planned. Life isnt perfect, and that obviously applies to vehicle work. Having a business/shop that will work with you during a tough situation is the mark of an honest, customer-focused shop. Adam earned my trust, and I wouldnt hesitate to return if/when I need more service. 5 stars for Adam, Jorge, Scott, and the rest of the Oro Valley Brake Masters team. Thanks for the work, guys. I use to love this place! So convenient and right by my gym. In 2017 I went to get my oil change and one of the mechanics forgot to put the bolt on tight so my car was leaking oil everywhere. I went back for them to fix it which I thought they did then as Im driving I start smelling an oil smell and my car starts leaking I waited 2 days thinking oh well it will go away they just flexed my car and to my surprise when I popped the hood... My engine cap was completely off!! Just bouncing around in my engine. My engine was filled with oil all over the place. Even worse, I was driving with almost no oil in my car due to that mistake and not knowing. I couldve done permanent damage to my car or blown my engine and sued. To make matters worse, when I confronted the manager he said accidents happen and Ill have the mechanic clean your engine thats it. No sorry, no offer to reimburse me. Just accidents happen. I have not been back since

For a girl who came into their shop in near tears — okay thats a lie, I was already crying — I came out with a smile on my face. My window regulator stopped working which resulted in me taking my door panel off and repairing it myself. After a lot of sweat, and more tears, I finally got the window back up. Problem was I couldnt get the door panel back on. I took my car to Mike at Brake Masters and he got it back on within minutes. And boy did I get one heck of a deal. You will DEFINITELY be getting my business in the future. Thanks guys!

I needed rear brakes, and found Brake Masters #204 in Oro Valley. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review, because I wanted to be sure my brakes worked well.... And YES, theyre great! I also got new wipers that are great now that were in monsoon season! Service was terrific, and I could not be more pleased. Ill be returning soon for an alignment of new tires. You cannot go wrong with this place.

My wife and I typically do not like going to these stores because of the high pressure you feel to purchase services up an beyond whats needed. This was our first visit to this store. My perception was totally shattered. Alan, the gentlemen who greeted us, was very professional from beginning to end. He stepped us through the process explaining everything. It kind of felt like the neighborhood garage where I went as a kid. Great conversation, nice atmosphere, and most of all, no pressure. Scott is an honest mechanic who does good work. Im very thankful. Recently, when he replaced an A/C actuator door on the passenger side, I asked to add freon, not knowing that shops today evacuate it first to not overfill. I checked it out with two other places and this was true. Then Scott tested my A/C compressor and found it not fully as strong as it should be. But he said I should choose whether to replace it or not. He cautioned that when a compressor goes, it can go suddenly and since the belt runs the other mechanical parts under the hood, it could endanger me or leave me stranded on the highway. I ordered my own on line and brought it in to be replaced. They didnt even ask to replace the serpentine belt then, but I thought it would be a good idea on a 19-year old car, while Scott was changing the compressor. But then, on its first drive, the car overheated on the highway on a hot day while I was enjoying my A/C. Rescued by the Highway Patrol and the officers 5-gallon can of water, the car ran fine and showed cool for the 45-minute drive home. But I took it in to Brake Masters, knowing Scott is good, to ask him to troubleshoot it. I thought the usual things, was there water in it before? Did a hose leak? Could the radiator have clogged? Maybe I should get a radiator flush since its never been done? Scott carefully tested the system and he found small pinhole leaks about 3-4 inches in the neck below the radiator cap. (I didnt know more of my water had boiled out coming home.) Scott is so nice, he was patient with me while I tried to troubleshoot and ask all my questions, and hesitated to spend more money. I was understandably skeptic, having met so many dishonest mechanics in the past. Scott had looked it over thoroughly, and was willing to help me see and understand. So I took his advice and installed a new radiator, along with getting the radiator flushed. Scott told me that someone had put Stop Leak in it sometime, which is why the water was that strange brown Id noticed on the highway. Scott pointed out the brown ring on the water reservoir. (I didnt know the history of the old Buick with low mileage Id inherited.) He and my friend who knows about cars said it might be wise to install a new thermostat, since the car had gotten so hot it had shut down while I looked for a safe place to pull off. Scott always does all he can to keep my prices low, or fair and reasonable. I got the 10% senior discount. Still, in the morning I woke up wondering, did it really need a new compressor, and a new radiator (with only 11,000 miles on a 19-year-old car)? Thankfully, my friend told me, yes, that shed felt the pitted holes in the radiator neck which Scott let both of us feel. Shed asked, could it be welded? But Scott already knew that you cant weld that model of radiator; so it had to be replaced. He must have thought of this first before telling me I needed to replace it. So with Scotts expertise and my friends advice, I am confident, comfortable, and am very happy to have a good working car with low mileage. I know Scott guided me to make the right choices. Its not often that you find a good, honest mechanic. Scott is both. I am a very thankful customer.

This is one of the greatest auto shops Ive EVER been to, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. I have had work completed on my car, with this site, multiple times over the last couple of years. Every time I am there, the staff is HONEST, efficient, compassionate, and they do excellent repairs. This last time I came in for a second opinion, they were able to dispell false assessments by another shop and give me competitive pricing to take my total costs down from $1100 (the first shop) to $150 at Brake Masters. I have never been to another establishment with so much integrity and desire to make their customers feel like family! LOVE IT.

Adam and Scott are the most honest service technicians I have ever encountered. They once estimated a 400$ repair for a check engine light which I then authorized. Once into the work, they discovered a loose wire which solved the problem. They still couldve charged me the original estimate and I would never have been the wiser. Instead, they charged me nothing. These are my guys, now.

Brake Masters was wonderful taking care of my radiator leak today. Not only did they take the car in right away, they tested it to determine why it was leaking - not just saying that I needed a new radiator.........It was determined it was a hose and the cap!! The rates were extremely affordable and in about 2 hours I was on my way! We even had a healthy election debate! It was an enjoyable experience and would recommend them to you.

Every time I have been here the service has been fast and friendly sometimes its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but I believe in these guys and I think they do a great job. I took my truck to another mechanic to have the brakes done. I had to go back 3 times to get the brakes fixed again. Finally I brought my brakes to Brake Masters they did the job they did your job correctly and they showed me what was wrong. I trust these guys and I wont go anywhere else. Thank you for being so friendly and doing such a great job.

I feel like I’m part of a family when I walk into this store. Cliff is not only hilarious, he is is extremely knowledgeable and honest. So is the manager. Service is quick and I’ve never been offered service other than what is required maintenance on my car at that milage. Yes I do my homework before l go in. They even explain sometimes when I think I need a certain flush that it’s not necessarily needed at this time and I could probably go 1 to 2 more oil changes before that extra extra service is needed.I drive a hybrid and one time my battery was dead. Hybrid batteries are expensive and no one usually carries them except for the dealers. Cliff spent over an hour calling all different Break Masters and other auto shops he knew. I did end up having to go to the dealer to get the battery, but the folks at this Break Masters felt so bad for having to send me to the dealer to buy the battery at dealer prices, they had me bring the battery back and installed it for free. They saved me about $200 by doing this!Great people and great service.

I just went there because I was struggling to add air to my tires. I tried calling the dealership first and they basically said I was crazy, that it was like adding air to any other tire. The people at Break Masters looked at them, and they told me they needed a special tool to add air and to unscrew them from the back of the tire. They did it quickly, very professionally and without an amazing attitude. Would highly recommend this place.

This is an excellent brake repair shop. Service was timely and pricing was reasonable. Overall service was very good. They ensure repairs are done well and will correct problems, if they develope, later.

This place is great. Weve taken our van to numerous places for service (including dealerships) and have found the best service right here in Oro Valley. The 5 stars are because of their people - Cliff, Al, Scott and the rest of the gang always treat us well and our van even better. Its really nice to have a quality neighborhood garage.

Its hard, now-a-days, to find great customer service. From the moment I walked into this Brake Masters location in Oro Valley, I was treated with some of the best customer care that I have ever experienced. All of the staff there are wonderful and honest. I went in thinking I needed new brakes, however, after their inspection, they found out that my brakes were fine and that I only needed a brake fluid flush. This saved me at least $100, plus, my problem has been resolved! I highly recommend this Brake Masters location to anybody that is in the area!

Wen down to get an oil change for my civic.. they advertise online for $25. Went in and they charged me $36 which wasn’t too bad so I was ok with it. When they checked me out they charged me over $100 for an oil change and a $89 diagnostic that I never asked for. Customer service was good but that killed it for me I wasn’t expecting to pay that for them doing stuff I never asked for

The staff here is so lovely! I was experiencing headlight trouble and stopped here on my way to work. They were able to help me right away, free of charge and I was out the door in 30 minutes! 5,000 thumbs up!

Adam helped me and he was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable! I will come back every time I need anything done with my car. Outstanding customer service, if I could rate this place unlimited stars I would!

This is the best automotive repair place in the Oro Valley & Tucson area as far as I am concerned. I have done business there for over 2 years with 4 vehicles and feel they are honest and fair. In fact, my father-in-law brings his vehicles specifically to this location even though his lives 2 hours away. Al, Scott and crew are great!!!!!!

Took are car in and were so impressed that we asked them to please move to Washington they were so great. All I can say is wow!!! Talk about a friendly environment! I had The pleasure of dealing with the manager Adam, he was extremely knowledgeable and outgoing! I can say for the 1st time in a auto repair shop I felt at home and comfortable. No high pressure sales tactics, just straight forward talk about only the things that my car needed. Without question my new spot for ALL my car repairs. Too bad they don’t do tire otherwise I wouldnt have to step foot in another car shop again.

Each time my car has an issue I know it is in good hands with Josh and the team. I love how they greet me in a friendly manner and take the time to show me what work they are going to do and answer my questions in regular people terms. Always professional And fast

When I need auto service, I look for honesty and quality, in that order. The folks at brake masters provided both in equal, copious quantities. Did a great job on my brakes and didnt charge/ perform unnecessary work on the rotors (which were still in good shape). I just moved to the area and Ive found my local auto service station with these folks.

I just needed a check up on my cars break and the guy dismissed me without even looking into the problem. I am glad it happened because after that, I drove my car to another place (Pusch Ridge Automotive) and they took care of the problem and earned a customer.

Based on the other glowing reviews here, I decided to take my 60s muscle car to Brake Masters to get an alignment done. It turned out that their equipment would not work on my car because of my suspension and tire combination, but they took the time to help me find the one person in town that could accommodate my car. I call that TRUE customer service. I would gladly recommend them and will be taking my other cars to them in the future.

I had an extensive job done at this Brake Masters location. (Motor mounts, exhaust etc.)I could not be happier. The technicians were knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous.They gave me an excellent rate too (compared to the list price).Shout out to Paul, Scott and Al.Thank you. It feels like a new car.
