This is the closest place to us now in order to get our jewelry inspections. I have visited a few times already and the service has been ok. Last time I had to wait like 40 minutes in order to get my jewelry cleaned after inspection because they were busy and since the young guy was helping someone else in the meantime, he had to attend to the sale. I had already done my inspections, asked for the item to get cleaned and was told it would take 15 minutes. ( I thought the cleaning was part of the inspection), but I said ok. Anyways, 40 minutes later, I had to stand up and kind of nudge him to give me my jewelry back so I could leave. The other thing I noticed was this really terrible jewelry displays (see images). I was so shocked that this is what the displays looked like.
Excellent customer service and communication in my experience. I could not be more pleased with my service and the turn around to fix my wifes wedding gift. A+, 10/10
The sales staff (especially Jade) and the management at this Zales are absolutely wonderful!!! Great customer service, beautiful jewelry and a fantastic sale on Mothers Day weekend made this shopping trip a wonderful experience.
The store was highly unprofessional; I went to the store to pick up my ring and they said that my ring hadn’t come in yet .Not even 30 minutes later they sent me a notification that the ring was ready . The agent didn’t even bother checking the bag of items received to see if it they had received it . I had to go to the store a second time to pick up my ring I arrived at the location at 3 o’ clock 3:30 and they had a hour lunch and opened back up a half hour before closings and rushed me and other customers outs.I asked him to diamond test the ring in front of me the agent basically gave me the run around and refused .This is my first ring my engagement ring they never told me or gave me the option to have it cleaned when getting sized the gentlemen said that next time I come I should ask for it .Me and many other people are not experienced in jewelry to know what we need and do not need that is the job of an agent to inform us of what we need and they failed at that . An experience that should of been exciting was frustrating unnecessary .I told the agent that it still is a little loose can I get a ring guard and he gave me the worst option available I was even willing to pay for it .I legit had to go to the Kay Jewelers next door to get it diamond tested and get a ring guard that worked for me and they treated me professionally and accommodated me instantly without hesitation. I would not come to this location ever again and I do think corporate needs to intervene because I see them costing the company a lot of money if I had bad service I can’t imagine how many others have had it too .
Requires masks even if youre vaccinated. No thank you, if i am spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars I will not be told to wear another god damn mask after getting the stupid covid vaccine.
Nicest staff Ive ever had at Zales. Great customer service and highly knowledgeable. Will definitely return to this location 👍
I was looking for a tennis bracelet and they had one that matched what I was looking for. After speaking the sales person I decided it was over priced ($2700). She then went on to inform me that I should come back every other week as they have but more save more sales. So I did. Once again I was greeted by the same sales person and looked at the same exact bracelet and although it was a buy more save more day, she quoted the same exact price as the week prior. After I informed her that her and I spoke the week prior and she quoted me the same price she just denied it and shrugged her shoulders. They also are never open when the plaque states. I went there yesterday just to see yet another hand written sign stating sorry were closed even though the time card states they open. I recommend everyone to try the jewelry store at the Premium outlet off of I4. They are a great place to find Anything that you’re looking for and if they don’t have it they will make it for you at a great price.
Ive tried to come in 3 times to have the main prong on my engagement ring fixed and they are never open when theyre supposed to be. Each time the door says something about inventory. Today I looked up online to see if they were open before I drove all the way there. It said they would be open at 11am. I got there about 10:45, I parked in front of the store and 2 women walked up to the door and unlocked it and went in, locking it behind them. I went up to the door at 11:05am and it was still locked. I looked on the door and see that there is a paper on the door that has a different schedule on it that says Monday (today) theyre CLOSED. I walk back to my car and I look over and a one of the women put another paper sign on the door. Just then a man parks next to me and he walks up to the door and reads the sign and tries to open the door. At this point I was curious and went up to see what the new sign said. It said closed for inventory until 4pm like.... huh?! So then he tells me the story of how theyve had his wives ring for over a month, they came Saturday to pick it up and they told him THEY COULDNT FIND IT! He came back today because they said they found it. The lady came out and yelled that they would be open MUCH LATER and he was able to explain that he was there Saturday and she said, oh youre Mr. _____, Ill bring it right out to you I sat in my car outside observing and he waited for 15 minutes before she finally came out. He asked her why the time on the internet said they were open but her & the door said theyre closed. She stumbled around her words speaking in circles saying something about inventory. She then removed the sign that said they were opening at 4pm from the door. Ive been sitting here for 30 minutes and 4 people have tried to go in and all of them were confused and told me it said they were open online. I will absolutely NOT be coming here to have them fix my ring (that we bought from Zales 12 years ago). They arent open and if they are who says they wont LOSE my ring!?!? I hope corporate investigates and replaces the incompetent people running this place!
Absolutely amazing. I’ve had 2 visits and it was outstanding customer service. Jessica was extremely helpful and honest! She was able to answer my questions and help me with my decision on wedding bands! Everything was very clean and following COVID rules too!
Terrible service. I had been going to this store for many years, dating back to 2007 when I bought my wife’s engagement ring here. But I’ll be finding a new jewelry store for my business. Awful service culminating in the last time I went I waited nearly 20 minutes for some one to help be before if I finally gave up and left. Go some place that will appreciate your business; not here.
The company is highly unprofessional I wouldn’t not recommend; the store is not accommodating and is rude and not a bit interested in helping the customer .The store is dirty and not well kept at all . The manager is just as lazy as the agents and indulges the work ethic as poor as him .Do not go to the store at all you will waste your time and money helping contribute a poorly run company links there’s .
Great experience in purchasing our rings. The sales clerk was attentive and helpful. The manager overheard my reaction to the different rings I was trying on and she came over with a ring that was perfect. We could not have been more pleased with their service and attention. We had not expected to purchase at that time since it was our first stop. Definitely would recommend this store. The pricing was outstanding along with the service
Worst experience ever, manager and sales person are liars. Do not come here, almost paid x3 more for a ring. Horrible, money hungry place
I got there at 5:45 when it says the close at 7 online and and the sign on the door says they close 6:15 and the doors were already locked and the lady wouldnt let me in and said they were already closed. Get your s**t together, not sure why you are closing your doors at least a half hour before close.
Poorest customer service experience Ive had in quite some time. My wife and I took her wedding ring in to be cleaned and dipped as part of the warranty. The very first words out of the store managers mouth were doubting the cut of the diamond and the setting and she insisted that we were wrong even as we tried to present the paperwork. When we originally purchased the engagement ring we were told that when we soldered the wedding band (not from Zales) to it that we would have no problem having the ring serviced/cleaned. We have had it serviced for the past three years (every 6 months as required) with no problem. This store manager insisted that they could not do the two rings together (regardless of the fact that Zales soldered them together) without charging an additional $40 per cleaning. The other option was to unsolder them, clean just the engagement band, and then solder them back together (for a fee, no doubt). Thats almost laughable. We have been regular customers at this location since moving to the Orlando area, but I can guarantee that we will never step foot into this store again. This was a shameful ploy to squeeze a good customer for additional money for services that should be covered by a warranty. And the manager couldnt have been more rude or disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, even if it costs you a premium.
Stood 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. Left witbout making a purchase.
I waited 3 weeks for my engagement ring to get resized. Just found out it’s been a week since they’ve had it. They claim to have tried to call my fiancé once and that the number was “not in service”. Didn’t bother to try to call again or contact us through email. Also handed back our ring with stuff in the creases. Asked the women if she was really giving us back the ring like this and she said “oh yeah it is dirty”.. and that was it. No sincere apology. I never leave reviews for places so if I’m taking time to write this, you know it’s bad.
Even though this place is affiliated with Jared, no way is it even close to their status. I would not recommend Zales to anyone! GO to Jared they treat you like family.
I have had the worst customer service from zales store and the phone cusomer service line. I have had to get my engagement ring resized 3 times each time taking 2 weeks to get it back cause no one can size a ring. Which now I am 2 weeks awayo from my wedding and I have NO rings when they were ordered in December. I called the service phone number and was told to call the store which does no good cause they keep messing up the size and telling it is cause the shape of the ring. I was told on saturday they can rush my rings but on sunday I was told it will be $60. I have been told every excuse of why the ring does not fit and the sales agents are rude amd dont listen when you voice your concerns. I have also made a complaint with the BBB.
Waited for 15 minutes for someone to help me. Then I left and went to Waterford Jewelers by Panera Bread. (Found them by Googling) I just needed watch sizing and battery replacement. They were fantastic, quick, and great prices. What a gem!
Lisa was the best! I was very indecisive and she was helpful and knowledgeable about the set my partner purchased as well as the warranty.
Great customer service. Im in the retail business and I was impressed how transparent they made the sale to be. CONGRATS Isabel and her manager. Go there and ask for her. You will love your buying experience.
Bought three pieces of jewelry on the zale’s credit card. Never received the jewelry and was harassed by the bank to make payments. They lied and said the order was reprocessed so I made a $300.00 deposit. Then all of the sudden my confirmation number “doesn’t exist”.Will no longer do business with Zales or any company that uses Comenity Bank.
My engagement ring and wedding band are from here. I bought the protection plan so I’m stuck coming here every 6 months for a ring inspection to keep the protection plan in place. And even to me they are rude and I’ve been a customer for years. They may have low prices but their customer service is terrible. Please go elsewhere, it’ll be worth it.
Besides an issues between the associates over splitting a sale, my husband and I had an excellent experience here. It is an outlet, so dont expect Tiffany style service LOL*Update*I received my new ring after sizing and Im extremely satisfied. They even allowed my husband to pick it up with no issues. I will be shopping this location again!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! The sales people are nothing but scam artists and rude! They sold my husband a ring for our anniversary for $600 more than the ticket price. I went myself to look at the matching band and the sales associate tried telling me that it was a lesser carat than what my husband had bought it for trying to get me to upgrade., when he indeed get the correct carat. They are liars and were caught in a lie! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!
The store was not opened when it was supposed to be and the lady inside just stared at us as we stood outside. We left for lunch and came back just a little bit later and amazingly the store was open now. When we got inside there were already a handful of people waiting while the employees milled around. It was about thirty minutes after the opening time that they decided they could begin helping customers. Wont be coming back.
If I could put 0 starts I would, but the system dont let me. This place is SCAM, they offer you one thing and when you go to pay is a whole different deal, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BUY WITH THE LAYAWAY PLAN IS WORST MISTAKE THAT YOU CAN DO!! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!
Just left this store after a big to do about a Lifetime Warranty that was purchased for one of my bands. The gal that assisted me was very helpful but when it came time to ask the manager what to do, she attempted to do it quietly and away from me (the customer). The manager was very rude and loud stating it was the other stores problem about my warranty and not one bit helpful. She made it very apparent she wasnt about assisting current long term customers and was all about money. If looking for good customer service and jewelry, I would take my business elsewhere....the customer service was horrible and when the manager is like that- she is teaching new employees that way as well.
Customer service experience was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend to all. We told them what we were looking for and it was ordered and received in 2 days..
This store is amazing!!!!!!! The manager and store has great customer service. Its sad how people come on here and complain about not getting free service. Its called a business for a reason. Love Zales!!!
The lady that took care of me ruth awesome person help me with everything I needed go see her tell her I sent you
Great customer service . The jewelry consultant having been in jewelry for a while, very informative.
Awesome
Short version:I will never ever give any Zales any of my money again. Their lack of care for their customers is disgusting.Long version:I bought my wifes engagement/wedding band set from this Zales about 2 years ago because they mailed me a coupon that made the set I wanted a great deal. The lady who helped me that day was extremely nice and super helpful. After that initial experience however, weve had nothing but problems. When we returned about a year ago for a repair under warranty, the associates in the store were unable to find out account. They eventually found it with the wrong phone number and address. We asked them to update the info and add both myself and my at-the-time fiancée (this was an ongoing issue for more than a year). We left her engagement ring for what we were told would be s quick and easy repair. A week later we hadnt been updated on the status so we called the store. The girl on the phone wasnt able to find any record of our work order or even the physical ring at all. We drove to the store and spoke to a manager who was only marginally helpful. After many interruptions and lots of hemming and hawing, the manager found our ring in an unlocked drawer, it hadnt ever been sent out for repair! We took the ring to a different jeweler for the repair and vowed never to go back.About a month ago, so almost 2 years after the initial purchase and about 1 year after the repair fiasco, I was looking to buy my wedding band. After visiting several local chains, Zales was the only store that could get me the 5mm white gold band I wanted in time. My fiancée and I went to the Fashion Square Mall location in hopes that our experience would be better. The associates at that store were like the stereotypical used car salesman, greasy and pushy with little-to-no knowledge of their product.Because I knew exactly what I wanted, we still decided to buy my band. I was sized in store and they told me I was a size 8. I came back a week later to pick my band and once I got home I discovered that it was too big. I went back to the Fashion Square store and found out hat the ring was actually an 8.5 instead of an 8. I sent it back in and picked it up another week later, the week of my wedding. The ring was still too big but it was too close to my wedding to send it out to be sized a third time. After the wedding and honeymoon (where I didnt wear the ring for fear of losing it) I went to the Waterford location for seek a solution. The manager there (who I heard tell her staff not to answer the phones when they were busy) was very unhelpful and only agreed to a next-day sizing when I asked several times. She measured my ring and said it was almost an 8.5, not the 8 I asked for. She then sized my finger and said I really needed a 7.75, not an 8! The only way I could get the ring in 24 hours was for me to drive to the Florida Mall location. She called ahead and supposedly spoke to the jeweler to make sure this solution would work. When I arrived at the Florida Mall, the jeweler had already left for the day and the associates in the store didnt have a clue what I was talked my about.Luckily, the first competent employee Id dealt with since my initial purchase 2 years prior overheard my frustration and stepped in before I blew up. Her name is Brenda and she might be the only reason I didnt fly off the handle. She re-measured my finger to ensure that I really did need a 7.75 and wrote a note to the jeweler making sure that the ring would be sized and delivered to the Waterford store the next day. I left confident that I would have my ring, properly sized, within 24 hours.Unfortunately, Im writing this review on my phone in the parking lot because the jeweler is on the way, 2 hours after he was supposed to be here.Final notes: the Waterford store looks extremely shabby, the staff (with the exception of Brenda at Florida Mall) are incompetent and unhelpful. My impression of the company as a whole is that corporate couldnt care less about their customers or their experience. Please, stay away!
Would give this place negative stars if I could. I stopped by to pick up a resized ring, and they treated me like they were doing me a favor by letting me walk in through their doors. They couldnt be bothered to be welcoming, and I sat down and waited patiently while they were assisting their current customers. When they were done helping their customers - one sales representative pointed her finger at me, and said You! Come here. What do you want? - trying to summon me like some sort of dog? I couldnt believe what I was hearing, so I gave her a confused look on my face. She summoned me again, wearing a disgusted look on her face (perhaps she thought I didnt speak any English? Or that I was hard of hearing?)When I tried to encourage her to be a little more friendly, she vehemently denied any wrongdoing (cant take any constructive criticism).Asked to speak with the manager to file a complaint, at which she appeared and they teamed up on me, the manager quick to defend her sales representatives actions, and adopting a mocking attitude. Oh, you want to file a complaint? What do you need? A pencil? A piece of paper? At which point I gave up and proceeded to leave the store, to which they responded with Oh, so youre NOT going to file a complaint?Contacted corporate to let them know how rude this place was. Not trying to pull the racist card, but I noticed the middle-aged caucasians walking into me being warmly greeted and quickly serviced, and in a much friendlier tone.Other reviewers gave this place a 1 star, and for a good reason. They lack respect.
They are really nice here and it is the only jewelry place I shop.
You would be better off buying jewelry from the side of the road. This is the most inconsistent, unprofessional, and disorganized chain. If I didnt know better, I would seriously think we were dealing with Walmart. My fiancé first bought my bridal set from this location, then we spent some time in Tucson for the summer. After having picked his wedding band from their website, my fiancé and I went to the Zales in the Tucson mall for him to get fitted and to maybe see the ring in person. The sales associates there ACTUALLY threw the ring mandrel (sizer) at us for him to fit himself, picked up rings that looked NOTHING like the one we showed them (even after having provided the item#), INSISTED that they were the one we showed them, got the WRONG sizes of those [incorrect] rings for him to try on, and then argued amongst themselves in front of us. When we finally tried to place the order with them online, they checked us out using the WRONG shipping address after us having given them all our information repeatedly. Needless to say, we cancelled our order placed it on our own from home.A few months later, we wanted to upgrade my engagement ring- literally just change out its [peg] head. Little did we know that for a corporation which claims to be a leader in the diamond industry, that was a strange and impossible request. After calling the Zales in Gainesville (Oaks Mall) to inquire about a consultation with a jeweler (supposedly an in-store service” on the Zales website), we were literally told they didnt know when one would be there, since they only had one come in every few months. As ridiculous as that sounds, when my fiancé tried to even find out how we would know when that magical time would be, he was told that they literally had no idea: we apparently just needed to keep calling every day for however many months. It gets worse. We called the Orlando (Waterford) location in November, thinking they might be a little more organized. Sure enough, they told us they could set up an appointment, but we needed to call back after Christmas because they were busy at the moment, which was fine since we would be there for the holidays. We called today, three days after the 25th, and all of a sudden, the same woman who told us to call back then in the first place said it would now take at least weeks to get an appointment, because they were swamped. They DID, however, give us the wonderful alternative of mailing my ring off to someone for an indefinite period of time, with no pricing information whatsoever, and without any idea about design possibilities altogether. Given the fine show of competence this corporation has displayed, we had nothing but confidence in that amazing option. So thats what thousands of dollars on engagement rings, wedding bands, and insurance plans gets you at Zales: service not even fit for a grocery store. Maybe well after our wedding, perhaps in time for 20th anniversary, they will have finally figured it out.
I bought my wedding band here and there were really nice and helpful.
Rude, terrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Went down the street to Waterford Jeweler and had a great experience.
I went in search of a wedding band for my current wedding ring that my fiancé purchased at Zales online. I had a vision of something very specific. The sales associate was very sweet & then the manager lady came and started pushing rings and styles I had no interest in. I even explored the option to add a row of yellow diamonds to my current ring so the middle diamond popped out more which is yellow and the manager said that is going to cost you a pretty penny. I immidiately looked at manager and told her as long as Im happy price tag is not an issue per my husband. She was wanting me to make a purchase of a product I didnt want and told me they didnt offer anything else to fit my ring. I walked out of waterford lakes Zales and we went to Altamonte mall Zales and I found two rings that made the design I was looking for. My husband made the purchase of two rings that same day and now they are being sized. I bought two rings for half the price the manager was trying to tell me was her best deal at waterford lakes. This manager doesnt care about the customers wants all she cares about is hitting her monthly store goal.
I just left the store after waiting at least 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. I dont know whether they sized me up and decided because Im young and a minority, I cant afford anything or whether they just have bad service. The Zales in my hometown was my favorite store, but these ladies were incredibly rude. They missed out on a big purchase that I was going to make for my bridesmaids, mother in law, mom, and flower girl. Back to Waterford Jewelers where they treat the customer like family!
I have been to this store a couple of times, however I noticed that every time I buy something or show interest in something they treat you very well. But when you go back to get something fixed or resized they dont treat you with the same kind of customer service. I have reported this zales store and I dont know if they got disciplined. As a minority woman I felt very hurt and disrespected and discriminated against. I know everyone feels something different when you walk into the store and theres different circumstances when you do go to this store so thats probably why the service is different. But for me its has been very traumatic because the manager was in it on it too. The manager is suppose to delegate and suppose to represent the company. If this is how zales promote managers, and if the company promote this kind of ethics to their consumers without disciplining their managers and workers then i hope that this message will let shed light on what kind of company they truly are.
Always happy when I shop here very nice lady works here and she will really work with you so you walk out happy with what you where looking for
This store is the worst and the manager have absolutely no customer service training. she is rude and disrespectful and I really dont think she cares about her job i will never shop here ever again.
Been twice for major purchases and they treated me well and acted professionally.
The store has a selection of Jewelry to look at, but you certainly get the End of the Line feeling walking into the store. Staff was helpful though.
Theyre always very helpful
Some of the best staff.
Went in for a simple watch battery replacement, they ended up scratching my watch face
I love this Zales!
