This is NOT La Fitness. This place has become a dump. Weights scattered everywhere around the gym, nothing racked where it should be and employees sleeping at their desk.. I’d give them a zero if I could

My home gym is longwood la which is brand new and beautiful. This place is a mess. Weights all over the place never organized. Giving it three stars because the staff is always friendly and bathrooms are cleaned. But more organization is needed.

This is a very clean gym. The manager and staff are friendly and work hard to keep everything in good working order and clean. The pool is the cleanest in Orlando! A clear, healthy swimming pool is very important. Thank you!

I found it amazing, I mean a bit concern that no one wore mask at all only like 5 people and workers and also babysitter in kid care should have an extra hand of help handling all those kids.

Other locations in the area are much better. Definitely not as nice as the LA Fitness club I normally go to. Feels old. Customer service is also severely lacking.LA Fitness as a whole is just a very poorly run company. It’s a shame because they have so much potential. Inconsistency and inflexibility is holding them back

Most of the machines are missing the parts that tell you how much weight it is. I had informed at least 3 different staff members and it it hasnt been fixed. But for the most part it is clean with some exceptions, which says more about the people that go there than it does the staff (I have found gum on the cardio equipment a few times). Also I went for a free training session and once I said that I wasnt Interested in paying for a trainer she became very rude and short and did what she could to get rid of me. No training happened.

Clean facility with enough benches and squat racks, great pool and basketball court.

Lineth as a Zumba instructor is very Prejudice of other dancers doing better than her and gossips while were dancing and also creates a toxic environment with the other women there and thats just not professional. Thats why I never liked Her class because I always felt unwelcome unlike other gyms. For years its been that Puerto Rican older crowd gossipers. She even trys to hard as to get in front of your reflection to out dance you. Like really. No ones jealous. I admire and aim to lose the 500 calories. Thats why I push myself so hard. If im in better shape than others doesnt mean i have to conform This is my journey and i pay for this.

***UPDATE*** Take 5min and read all the reviews you will see a trend, dirty, bad customer service and lack of gym etiquette. Addded a few more photos from the gym, things did improve for a few weeks but unfortunately that did not last long. Walk into that gym and nine times out if ten you will see employees socializing while the gym reflects a dumpster. I frequent that gym 4-5 days a week and its always the same story. Equipment is all over the floor and so is trash. I am cancelling my membership and implore anyone who has any standards to do the same and strongly discourage future members from paying these people. A new gym is opening down the street. Good luckThis gym is OK, get there at the right time and you can get a workout in. Biggest problem is the lack of gym etiquette. trash is always on the floor and weights are never where they are intended to be. I could walk into that gym at any random time and see trash/weights thrown everywhere. I asked the manager about this and should him pics I took on my phone and his reply was that corporate doesnt care and wont buy signs to placard around the gym. Also he told me it is too much for the staff to keep up on. What are members paying for? staff that works and helps maintain a good facility or staff that would rather have social hour over work? Unfortunately the latter is true with this gym. Hey GM if you need me to print out signs saying Re-rack your weights let me know I got a deal on printer paper the other day.

Had a membership for years and seen some changes since then. Mostly a pretty good gym except nasty hottub more often then not, few guys working there are iffy plus a manager is no good rude and doesnt want business. Never heard of trying to be friendly and win customer base.

This place has been my “go to” for 3 years. It’s got my favorite combination of the right machines, right equipment and right free weights. And I love the sauna. Now for $20 a month, it’s a great deal!

Great place to workout. I’m giving it for stars because of the bathroom cleanliness. Pool could be a little warmer for seniors.

I need to try to find an employee because I need to focus in all the black shirts. in these pandemic time at least one employee for area cleaning with a company powerful.desinfectant the equipment because the customer need to do. In my opinion the management should do something in this pandemic situation. the sauna was out of service and when I ask when they can fix.the lady said I dont know. bad customer service.

If you watch Arnold movie, then welcome to 1960s gym equipment. Also I think people that go or work here dont have a sense on common curtsy aka putting weights and other equipment back. Dirty and nasty.

My favorite place!

I went in to cancel my membership. I was fed some BS that I can only do it between 10-3 Monday through Friday when one specific person is there, but he’s getting ready to go on a two week vacation so I better make sure I make it there Monday or I won’t be able to cancel until he comes back. Never have I ever cancelled at a gym where the person working the front desk couldn’t do it. Disney world has made it easier to cancel your annual pass than la is making it for me to cancel my membership. It’s gross how difficult they’re making it for someone to cancel their membership during a pandemic

I’m 30 minutes from La Fitness. Just drove down here for nothing for the second time this week. Today is Sunday and on their google search it says they’re open till 8pm. I got here at 7pm. What gives? Update your hours on google search. Also in a different incident I drove down to la fitness or “ESPORTA “for a workout. I forgot my mask so I asked the front desk if they had any they can provide I will gladly wear it. I just simply forgot and she answered me well that’s not our problem. We don’t have to provide you with a mask. Very rude and unprofessional. Little to no sympathy from the lady at front desk. Lucky I went down to a cvs and they let me buy a mask. Terrible staff. Save your money. Paying 35$ a month to be treated like I shouldn’t be there.

Great place love this gym

The gym is nice but they dont keep it up as well as they should. If all you care about is cardio machines then yeah its good. Try to find a bar collar in here. There may be one set in the whole building on a good day.

Clean and orderly. Everyone was nice.

Majority of members here do not wear a mask while working out. The staff do not enforce the mask wearing signs located all over the gym. If this is a problem for you, I recommend working out elsewhere. Work out here at your own risk.

Is clean and organized

I went into work out. Two guys at the front desk. Acted like they didn’t want to help me. Then when He did help me. the guy told me I need to slow down because I was gone 300 words per minute. I’ll talk fast naturally and took offense to it.

Previously a 5 star review.....Ive been a happy member for many years, but today I was very disappointed. Signs everywhere- masks required in this facility. Why then did I see the majority of members not wearing one?? Why is no staff enforcing this? This isnt right for the members trying to be respectful of others and safe during these times.Also, every single hand sanitizer station was empty! I asked the front desk and she pointed to one large universal bottle near the front of the gym. This is definitely not stepping up sanitation. It means people are definitely not using hand sanitizer!I really hope these issues are addressed!***edited***I am happy to say that these issues have been addressed. Kudos!! Im back to 5 stars.

Hate this place. Tried to cancel my membership and the staff told me to come back 5 days later. Waste of time drive 45 minutes. Horrible customer service

This gym is extremely clean and has a great lay out but both times Ive been here the front desk staff is terrible. Both times I walked in the door to the front desk persons back, I scan my key and they continue to keep their back to me. Im not looking for a welcoming committee but after running a gym for the last 5 years, I feel like the easiest and best way to keep your members happy is to interact with them and simply do the job youre hired to do, sign people up for memberships and greet them as they come in.

Great gym and not too expensive but a better option compared to the $20 gyms. It is very big with plenty of equipment, locker rooms and saunas. I go during the day around lunch and while its busy I never have an issue getting on a machine. They also have a lap pool and hot tub. Definitely a great place to workout or play some basketball.

I havent seen the employees doing a good job about the enforcement of masks. Aside the fact some members are not using the mask at all, some employees are not using the mask correctly to give the exemple to the members. I wrote a letter to the headquarters and nothing changed!

This is hands down the worst LA Fitness I’ve ever worked out in. Everything there is extremely outdated or doesn’t work. The buttons on the treadmills are all broken. The free weight and weight machine area are crammed into very small spaces. It’s always crowded no matter what time you go. Maybe if they actually made everyone check-in this wouldn’t be such an issue. I’ll be driving an additional 20 minutes from my house to one on Colonial from now on. I don’t recommend this location to any members or anyone looking for a new local gym. Save your money!

Need to take more pride in the gym. Free weights are all over the rack. These should be reorganized on a daily basis like every other LA I go to does.

On the website they offer a guest pass, what they don’t tell you is you won’t be able to redeem it pretty much unless you accept signing on a membership. Then what’s the point?They don’t offer towel service and you must bring your own lock at this location.

Employees do nothing except sit at there desk and play on their phones while dumbbells are scattered and not in their correct place. Masks are not enforced except at entry. Most people dont even have a mask at all.

Johnny and his crew at LA Fitness Orlando were absolutely incredible. Gym was amazing with a huge weight selection, massive upstairs cardio room, basketball court, and group exercise/personal trainer studios. Everything was extremely clean and in perfect condition. If you’re visiting Orlando and looking for a gym near the airport—or need a new gym to call home, this is your spot.

I’ve been going to the gym for over two years this time and I have to say that is absolutely nice to be welcomed at 5am by your desk clerk Samuel ! He is kind, professional and very helpful and willing to assist if you need anything. He makes my day brighter every morning and I appreciate that it definitely makes me continue to go there!!! After a long day at Work decided to go to this gym cause I live in Poinciana. So the Manager Samuel invited me to come to take a Class cause I needed the upper and lower workout but end up doing Zumba which he recommended it was an amazing experience the instructor make sweat 😓 bullets but so much fun to know that you have people like Sam making sure customers have amazing experience and enjoy the moment Thanks Sam

Well the staff is great, Samuel greets you when you come in and actually knows my name.. I do the aqua class 3 times a week, Marisol is the best instructor I’ve ever had, her energy is great, the music fun too..

After each yoga class with Karen, it seems like the students leave eager to share joy. The class usually ends with everyone smiling and shortly after everyone is pleasantly calm. Her emphasis on breathing and focus on deep inhale and exhale make for a revitalizing class. I would go so far as to say that people leaving the class feel rejuvenated and happy. Karen is one of the most talented Yoga instructors I have ever met. She shows persistence in her work and she is invested in the well-being of her students. You have been a great instructor and I look forward to your next class.Thank you, Karen.

Cardio equipment here is great, always clean, great stair steppers and spin bikes. Shout out to Samuel at the 5AM front desk shift, always being super helpful and encouraging for the morning, guy puts a smile on my face for sure. Thanks for all you do!

This is probably the newest la fitness that Ive been to, so everything is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and some even know you by name. They Make you feel comfortable there. At times it tends to be kind of packed, sometimes during 4-7. but very good place to have a good workout. Its not that expensive for all it has. Obviously they have a pool, basketball court, cycling room, weight floor, saunas,dance or training room the one with the wood floor and the punching bags. And the child care is good no reason not to Make this your home gym!

Too many people without a mask. It should be mandatory. People uses the equipment and dont sanitize them after they use them, LA Fitness has the necessary desinfectants to clean and sanitize but there are some people that dont care.

LA Fitness Gym is the best! Whatever area Im at I Google Map near me and Im right there. You can go anywhere around the world and LA Fitness is right there for you.

Been going to LA Fitness’ for 7 years now. This is the only one ive been to where there is no employee that walks around to tidy the place up. Every single dumbell is in the wrong place.

Its a good group at this center, friendly, helpful. Samuel is the face of the center in the morning, greeting members by name with a ready pleasant smile.This is a good thing in a world where most are all too ready to frown and growl.

This like going to be two weeks working out there but the people is nice they will show how to use the machine and if you have a trainer their are very nice to they give tips how to work out the right way and there little bit pricey but its worth it if you want to lose the weight like myself and my fiance but want to say thank you... so if you like to work this is the spot for you. 😊

Wow. The worse gym manners with the weights. Nothing is put back where it should be. Literally a treasure hunt for basic dumbbells.

I signed up with LA Fitness for more then 1 year now and I love LA Fitness but this gym has much to work on. For this gym to receive a 5 star from me I would suggest a more of a focus on free weights rack having all the weights back in there place. Many weights are missing and out of place. You have to walk from one side of the gym to the other just to find what you want. Another suggestion would be a friendlier greeting when you first walk in the door. Many other LA Fitness provide you with nice inviting smile when you walk in but this one is missing it. Those are my only suggestion for a 5 star rating from me.

I basically go here for the equipment and the machines. I do not use the pool, the basketball court, or the locker rooms/showers. I am satisfied with the equipment, it looks clean and maintained. I also enjoy the music they play time to time. The social life, I wouldnt know. I like this gym therefore I give it 4-stars

Horrible! A guy at reception disrespected me, because I went with my brother for information and started telling my brother that nobody has to tell him what to do, simply because I was seeing the best plans for my brother because he asked me to do it, and I felt Pretty offended, Im not a girl Im her big sister, so people who do not know me do that. I consider that a person with a lack of discipline should not be receiving the clients and lacking respect.

My unpleasant experience at LA Fitness. I was very excited when I found out a new gym was opening in my neighborhood. I decided to print an online pass for 3 days to check it out with my mother, since neither of us has ever been to LA Fitness. We entered the gym both looking forward to seeing how it is inside and ecstatic to start working out! Upon arrival, we were greeted at the front desk and I showed them my 3 day pass. After a few moments a man by the name of Efrain Alejandro (member service representative) took the pass and showed us to his desk. I thought great, this was the chance to find out if they had specials! He looked at the pass and said this pass is only for one person. I told him that on the bottom it stated it was for me to experience the 3 day pass and a friend, therefore I only printed one pass. He took the pass crumbled it up and threw it in the trash. Which I thought was a little odd. He proceeded to tell us that they had a special going on, the special was 34 dollar monthly fee and the initiative fee was waived. I asked him if the deal was for this weekend only, and he stated it was only today. He took mine and my mother’s ID and began entering information into his computer. I proceeded to ask him questions about the membership, which he absolutely refused to answer, by either changing the topic quickly or ignoring the question. It made me a little frustrated but I put it off, not thinking too much about it. After he entered out information into the computer he printed and gave us both a pass for 1 day ONLY, instead of my 3 day pass. I told him that we wanted to work out and then make the decision on whether to join. He took mine and my mother’s IDs and placed them in his pocket. He stated that he would give them back after we were done working out. This made us very uneasy. I told him I did not feel comfortable and I wanted out IDs back. He took them out of his pocket and gave it to me with a dirty look. After the “complimentary” work out, come to find out, the one day deal only was actually NOT TRUE, but the same deal was going on the next day! Not only was the customer service horrible but to place out personal belongings in his own pocket was outrages to me. I want people to be aware of what is going on at this new gym! Not only did I leave the place feeling uncomfortable, but I left the place without any of my questions answered! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they begin changing their customer service!

Overall, It Smells, Its Dirty and there a lot of trashy people there. The location is some what sketch, but not full on.That being said.. it is a gym and it works. Sauna is on premises. Pool, Yoga Studio, full weights. If you dont do Planet Fitness, this is a decent gym to go to.The Spin classes are really good if you get Katherine or Debbi. Both are great and if youve never tried it.. try it out.Never had a bad run in with the Customer Service. Its pretty cheap $29.99, no activation.

Usually quite dirty. The classes are all right, as well as the teachers, but a lot of the other staff leave plenty to be desired. Also hate that the pool is right by the parking lot and entrance with huge floor to ceiling windows, so anyone walking or driving by is looking in on you. If there were at least a tint or reflective film on the windows it would be all right, but right now you feel like youre on display when swimming.

Just opened my membership at LA Fitness with O’Neal Torres and I had the best service ever. . Great friendly staff. Very clean Gym. Sales staff was helpful and very acomadating. Highly recommended.
