This gym is AWESOME. It has every piece of equipment imaginable and the atmosphere is motivating from the moment you walk through the door.The cardio section is great with a theater style screen for movies while training.There are classes of all types, friendly and knowledgeable personal trainers, and members who want to help one another.The locker rooms have a sauna that definitely helps you relax and reduce lactic acid build-up after your workout.If you need energy before or recovery after your workout, the pro-shop has everything you need.

First off, the bulk of these reviews are FAKE. I have gone to this gym for many years, when it was still a GOLDS GYM and I can tell you it is NOT what they make it out to be. The first problem you will run into is finding a suitable parking spot. The lot is completely full during certain hours of the day and they simply cannot accommodate their guest needs. At one point, they had notices posted everywhere stating they were working on it because so many people complained, but those notices have since been taken down and I think they finally accepted that they arent going to do anything about it.Machines. Not enough given the amount of people they have on the floor. Sometimes, youre lucky to find one that isnt broken or with the appropriate safety pads missing. It shouldnt taken weeks to repair or replace a machine. I think this gym had a better standard for excellence before when it was under different management but it hasnt been the same for a long time. Good luck getting a response to emails from management. Look online at other forums to see more accurate reviews from previous employees or customers who will shed some light on what is really happening here. Unfortunately there arent alot of options for gyms in the area, but Id rather drive a ways to go somewhere else than come back to this place.

This gym is spotless and cleaned and sanitized all throughout the day and night. The members are super friendly, you can get after workout hydro massage, tan in the booth, or a protein shake made just your way .

The worst gym, they do not solve the situations that they cause themselves, and they even charge you too much on your account. I NEVER RECOMMEND IT. My account was overdrawn because I was unfairly charged over $ 400

I love the atmosphere. They have personal trainer there if you need help with your fitness goals. I love that they have a variety of equipment that most gyms dont offer. The 3D body scan is amazing, so go and try their 7 day free pass.✌🏾

I like the gym a lot.I wouldn’t advertise it as a 24 hour gym online without other hours listed though. It always closes on Sunday early but it’s not listed on here, so technically not always 24/7Also, the gym is still closing up early on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s understandable, but not listed on here either.The most unique part they had was the movie theatre room which felt like you were running inside an actual theater. That was done away with.

My car got broken into at fitness cf parking lot, i went to staff they said sorry cameras dont work. i filed police report they said there has been dozen other same incidents. the inside gym has great amount of machines but many are rusty and peeling and old, especially squat area. i joined crunch and though i drive an extra 10 min its newer cleaner, safer and cheap!!

Not a bad gym, there is lots of equipment. My only complaint is females still stand in front of mirrors in the ladies changing room taking selfies even when there are postings on the mirror saying due to privacy not yo do that. It’s quite annoying when trying to get by let alone if someone decides to use the tanning more than likely you’ll be in someone’s photo, wish they would enforce this more or have a “selfie area”. As I come to work out and get my belongings and head out.

I have been going to this gym fir many years, lets say about 10 years. Never had any disappointment, but I wish they change the hours back to the way it was before. I hate the new schedule for Friday and Saturday, and Sunday, please change it back!!!

Me and the wife really like coming here but the only downfall is people using the machines to stop and take videos holding up the equipment. This is happening quite frequently in the upstairs all female section. My wife has to wait while someone does a tik tok video, when others could be finishing up their workout.

Great gym, just wish they had newer equipment and were more strict when it comes to cleaning the equipment.

I moved away and Fitness CF sent $149 to collections. Collections, Adler & Associates, won’t settle or remove from credit report even if paid in full.

The gym is big and has a lot of machines but it lacks dumbbells and mirrors in some areas, you have to walk very far with the weights to be able to train

I have been a member of Fitness CF (formally Golds) for nearly 15 years and can honestly say it’s one of the best and cleanest family fitness facilities in all Central Florida. They provide outstanding customer service, extremely knowledgeable staff/fitness instructors and superior modern equipment. They even have an amazing movie room so I can catch up on movies as I work out! I would HIGHLY recommend Fitness CF to my family, friends and colleagues.

I used to love this gym pre-covid. But they have made my life hell during the pandemic. After the lock down, I asked them to kindly freeze my account until I decide it is safe to come back. I stumbled up two charges for Fitness CF when I thought my account was cancelled. Not only did they make it such a hassle to freeze my account, they had me talk to the manager, then call their billing service provider, and then finally write an email. I thought that after all this work my account was finally frozen. Come yesterday, I find another charge on my account. I called them to freeze it and again I am thrown through hoops to freeze my account. Not only am I not able to receive they money that they stole from me during a pandemic. They made freezing my account a hassle that I decided to cancel my membership with them. Absolute BS from them.

I visited many gym around the USA. I love there equipment and its so big. Lots of equipment and they even have a daycare, crossfit, and more. I would say if you single or just a couple with no kids thats the spot but i think its more of a hardcore gym for guys with hot dogs neck.

The feedback I am giving is representative of the Top down Fitness CF brand as this review features experiences I have had at three of their locations.I travel over an hour to any of the CF gyms because some* of the staff and instructors are exceptionally great. World-class.In an area where the amount of gyms is rivaled only by the amount of Publix grocery stores, (meaning there are a lot of gyms in the area to choose from) one might think that an establishment that has drawn in members, plural, from outside of its five-mile radius, that the owner/operators must have an incredibly positive work culture and that they really care about its staff and clients.Yeah... one would be wrong.It is because of a handful of staff and instructors that the loyal and not so local clientele are returning week after week.After years of membership with this gym, I think I may have reached my threshold. I have 3 gyms within 5 miles from my home. It might be time to give them my money.I am not one to say that the customer is always right, but I do think a loyal customer is one who should, at the very least, be listened to.Apparently, the owners of Fitness CF do not subscribe to that philosophy. It would seem that they just dont care.About anything.Customers.Staff.Nothing.Where do I even begin... the lack of retention of employees is disheartening. In the 3 years I have been at this location in particular, I have seen over 20 qualified staff members leave or be released from their positions.Let me be clear, we are not talking about an organization with thousands of staff members.They have maybe 40 employees on payroll at this location so that number of employee dismissals is ridiculously high.It seems that there are zero coachings on how to improve or grow an employee. It would seem there is zero investment in their team.The modus operandi of the ownership, when given constructive feedback, is to either ignore it or release the members of management they themselves have hired and subsequently fired for doing what the owners themselves have instructed.Ive witnessed threatening communication to several customers and staff.Ive observed broken equipment not attended to for weeks on end.I have been told that group fitness classes were canceled because instructors were no longer in the area (which I later discovered was not true.)I have heard that the ownership feels that attendance is too low to bring the full group fitness rotation back online and yet almost every class I have attended has been at its post-COVID capacity.I was recently at a class where the instructor didnt have a microphone to speak to the room full of paying customers... does the facility only have one microphone? I would hope that in these times, with a pandemic that has destroyed our former sense of normalcy, that the club, which to their credit has taken some decent* measures to keep the club safe, would have at least one microphone per instructor. Right? I dont think Im out of line for saying that.If you have gotten this far you are probably an employee.If you are, hang in there. You are not the problem.And if you think it’ll help, maybe share this with the owners, maybe read it to them, since I suspect that they wouldnt care to bother themselves with reading.

This Fitness CF may look as though its awesome but its Posters give you for the most part, a very passive aggressive approach. More like they feel entitled to be like that. Also, they dont enforce their rules evenly across the board. Basically, they pick and choose. With Orange County mandated use of face masks, this becomes an issue of safety, sanitation and health risks. I personally had to address it directly to both of the Posters. But, they didnt seem to care and were indifferent about my concern and how unprofessional that is. Now, theyve revoked my membership which, in all honesty, I couldnt care less. Especially, when management didnt even try to reach out to me to hear my side of the story... that right there should tell you all you need to know about them. This location wasnt my regular one but everytime I went, its left me with a very uneasy feeling. Ruining my workout day. And because of that, I gave these two Posters that one day a very well needed reality check and told them exactly who they are. I sleep even better knowing I put my dignity and self-respect over their lack of professionalism and borderline toxic approach. For you two that know who I am. I dont regret anything I told you. Im sure many others feel the same way but havent get to break it to you the same way I did, yet. Rest assure, continue with it and it will happen again but with someone else 😉. Off I go to a better place ✌🤭In response to the owners comment:No, dont compare my experience with that of others. Doing so only proves my point. Clearly, what I saw and experienced was completely too different to even agree with anyone saying otherwise. You didnt even attempt to reach out to me to hear my side of the story. I even had to call Code Enforcement which, I wouldnt if it wasnt that bad, right? I see how difficult it is for you to take what you should interpret as constructive criticism although you may not like what I shared with others. Your complete disregard to customers like me and what we express is a total shame and it shows. Others may not waste their time or simply find it useless to say something about it when it comes to experiences like mine. But to me letting others know, I have no problem whatsoever. You arent my first review. Good or bad. Food for thought.

The best gym Ive had a membership too thus far. Plenty of equipment and friendly staff. Im giving them three stars instead of five because of the companys hidden fees. These fees were not brought to my attention prior to signing up. I was charged $100 to register & $26 monthly. Both prices I were aware of. However, I was charged $45 for an annual fee, which I was not aware of. When I called, management apologized and admitted fault but didnt offer reversing the payment. Im not angry, just bummed the company basically shrugged its shoulders and called it a day. Before getting a membership, be sure to ask about all the enrollment fees, the anual fees and the monthly fees.

It is dark and musty in this gym. It feels like a sweaty, humid place when you walk into it. I dont know if there is any ventilation in this gym, but it does not feel like it.

Ive been coming to this gym for almost 20 years, my family comes here, Ive brought friends to join this gym throughout the years, so on December 23rd I went to work out and after I was done, went to take a shower and I realized Ive forgotten my towel, so I go to the front desk to borrow one and the lady there( KATHLEEN) asked me if I was enrolled in the towel program, I responded, I wasnt sure, I always bring my own towel and whenever I forget mine I ask for one with no problem, so she checks my account and tells me that Im not enrolled in the program so she can not provide one for me, so I said, Ive been here for 20 years, never knew about this program and you are going to denay me one towl.??So, Im sorry, this is very poor customer service, she (KATHLEEN) could have offered for me to enroll in the program or give me the towl and tell me to next time bring my own.I dont think that was the way to handle an issue of a loyal customer thats has been there for 20 years and has brought many business to the place.I guess is time for me and my family to start shopping for another place to work out.

Best gym PERIOD!I pay a monthly fee, even when months at a time I am not in Orlando. I pay just to keep myself a member. $30 I get a huge gym almost 24/7, towel service, massage room etc.The amount of equipment and options is unbeatable. Makes me feel good about myself paying membership when I am not even in the area to attend.LOVE THIS GYM!!! HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR ME!Good crowd...sometimes celebs come by. UNBEATABLE FOR $30 a month

I really wish I could give more stars because this gym has been my home for almost 3 years now. I have been to various gyms in Miami/Toronto/NYC and I can honestly say this is the BEST gym I have ever trained at. It is so big and well-thought out. Everything is spaced out perfectly and they really stay on top of keeping it clean (super important in covid era and in general tbh lol). The atmosphere is just motivating all together. The staff is great and welcoming to members. I am so pleased with my experience. Truly no gym like this that has provided such an OVERALL positive experience - Always keeps me coming back ❤️

Visited Fitness CF recently for Labor Day weekend. Been going here for years whenever I come to town to visit. Really clean facility and up to date equipment. Staff was very friendly. Roman at the front desk explained all the visitor passes and even gave me advice on the new restaurants in town. Highly recommended.

I loved Fitness CF! I was a member for over a year (initially signed a year long contract) and then went month to month. I recently started a new job and unfortunately I am not on that side of town anymore. I decided to cancel my membership, and unlike a few people on here, felt the process was seamless! I called an 800 number, they were able to give me the info I needed, and then I easily cancelled. Because they need 30 days notice, I had to pay my final months membership which was fine. As long as nothing changes, I will definitely return if I move back to Dr. Phillips! The gym is clean and spacious, the womens floor is *generally* not super busy, and the group classes were always a good time!

Me and my girls just started a family plan at this gym (Fitness CF) when we joined we got 5 weeks of there new lifestyle training program called face 2 face that Brian the salesman signed us up for. Our trainers are SAM AND DANNY they are so amazing. We truly recommend this gym.

I love this place!The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! There is an array of equipment that is well-maintained, and in proper working order. The gym is clean and spacious. Even when its busy I never feel that its overly crowded. And last but not least, Sam is an amazing personal trainer! Im sure that every personal trainer there is awesome, however Sam is the man... He will challenge you throughout the entire workout, and youll have fun in the process. I would highly recommend this facility!

The gym is great., they dont have a pool and the music is kind of loud, but other then this it fine, I specialty like the cost effectiveness, abundance of machines and that its almost always open. regarding the cancellation policy that people posted here about, I asked before signing up and told that it would be $100 if you cancel before the year. its fair enough I guess. they also have more expensive month-to-month plans

The females restroom is often dirty, including towels and paper on the floor; the toilets are dirty and the vanity baskets are either too full or not taken out often. It became a sanitation problem. I have spoken to the staff multiple times, but nothing has changed. I also sent an email to the owner, who never responded. On the other hand, the classes are great and the instructors are full of energy.

Manager is super nice. Good atmosphere and a mix of newbies and serious iron movers. So if your into powerlifting or serious strength training would recommend it over other gyms in the Dr. Phillips area. I mean theres not many gyms with a deadlift room.

I just wanted to come on here and leave a review about Fitness CF. I am staying in Orlando a few weeks for work. I didnt want to pay for a full membership considering I am only here temporarily. Bryan with sales was not only very informative, but he helped me find a Groupon card for the gym for the month. He understood everything I discussed with him and greatly helped me out. Wonderful place to workout. Staff is friendly and facility is clean. $35 gets you unlimited classes which would cost you hundreds if you were paying individually elsewhere. Only downside from LA Fitness is that you have no pool or basketball court. Other than that the equipment is much better at CF in my opinion.

I got a passport golds membership with them and when they went on their own they basically refused to cancel my membership until the contract is over, even though the main reason I got it was a brand name and convenience to use it nation wide. The main manager was ignoring my emails and it was the only way to reach her .I see a lot of members complaining about exactly the same thing : sign in is easy to get out is a pain.Do your research before you sign the contract but I would not recommend it even though the gym it self is pretty nice.

Dont go here unless you go to the gym all of them time and will go for a long time. They trick you into signing a contract and its very hard to cancel your member ship. They have all of these fees and rules and you have to go through an automated calling system. Other than that the gym is nice!

This gym has plenty of everything from free weights, machines, group classes and personal training. Cant beat the couples price at 60 a month. Gets busy during rush hour but if that matters to you easy to go a little earlier or later.

This is hands down the best gym in central FL. I drive over 30 minutes out of my way to go there and wouldnt go to any other gym. Very motivating gym and the manager bill is really nice to me and seems like a really nice guy. Unlike a lot of franchised gyms out there the owner is really involved with the members. It is the nicest gym I have ever been to and Im happy that there is such an amazing gym like this in central fl.

BEWARE!! THIS GYM WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR SO YOU SIGN THE DOTTED LINE. We recently moved and we dont have a CF fitness in our city. I was told while signing up and over the phone with customer service that a small fee will be charged to cancel but you must do it through email only. I found this odd that you can only cancel over email and now I found out why, its so they can email you back and not deal with you directly when ripping you off while making you pay monthly dues and club dues for the remainder of your contract. They dont care that its a 40 minute drive completely out of my way to make it to a gym. I will never use this company again and will tell everyone I can that this is the way they do business. Do not trust the sales people or the customer service representatives at this gym as they will not uphold what they say.

This is one of the best gyms here in central FL Ive been coming here for 3 years and this is home to me. Its super clean and they provide towels and spray for each machines so after your workout you can sanitize the machine that you just used. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful the trainers are really nice and if you have questions about a specific machine they will definitely help you out . I will never stop coming to this gym all the equipment is the same ever since it was golds gym nothing inside has changed the only thing that has changed is the name and thats about it. If you love to workout and be around nice friendly people definitely go and workout at this location.

This gym has so many benefits!! They have cardio, weight machines, free weights, bench pressing etc. they even have a spinning wall that you can clime on and even a powerlifting room it’s amazing!! Staff is Great too!!
