Not impressed at all. This is why doing a walk-in is such a risk :( Barbers are friendly and all but I am so disappointed with my haircut. 1) The barber brought my hairline up way more then it needed to be (BEFORE I HAD TO ASK HIM TO FIX IT) and he thought it was also straight. 2) My edge up was definitely not straight at all!!!! I had to ask him twice to get it straight. 3) I specifically asked him for a fade on the sides and showed him pictures as an example. I was not gonna tell him to fix that after I saw how bad my hairline was. 4) It doesnt even look like I got a haircut. 5) Only used the razor in the front of my face, when I look at my ears you can see that he took no thought to details. He saw I was disappointed with my cut, first thing he said was that will be $25.This place is definitely not worth $25 for a cut and $10 to clean eyebrows, I know things got hard for a bit but you need to match that kind of $$ with quality. I AM SOOO DISSAPOINTED. I usually dont review like this. If your gonna charge people that much, treat every head like art... Not just another paycheck. I am now gonna walk around town with what you made... with what you designed... your craftmanship, your artwork.I cant say this about every barber at the shop. I guess what really gets me upset is the price...how can you charge that much and not notice a completely crooked hairline? Or not do a fade? I would not expect that kind of cut for that much. Just wanted to try a local place.

I’ve been going to Jose for over 4 years now. What can I say.... look at the stars, feel like a star, come out looking like a star. Family oriented, new & old school vibes. Ive been taking my son to see Hector for months now and very happy with the results and my son is a handful and he knows how to make him feel good. His lines are cut clean.

This was my go to spot but had to move and have not been able to come back. Jose is the owner of the place and is great guy. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I visited this place a few days ago as a walk in, the staff was very nice the place is very clean. The reason for my low review is because I literally just got a shape up and cleaned up my eyebrows and the barber charged $30 and it wasn’t even a good job. I asked for the sides to be faded it just did not look faded at all. Won’t be back.

Ok so Ive been meaning to check out this Barbershop, because it is owned and ran by one of my oldest friends thats like my brother. Now back in the day Jose was the neighborhood barber he had mad skills and big dreams. I finally got an opportunity to check out his spot its absolutely beautiful. Its clean, upbeat, all the staff are friendly and professional. So I know yall probably thing Im just hyping him up because I already said hes one of my oldest and dearest friends and yes hes family.... Go check him out I promise you will definitely make him your #1 Barber. He absolutely slayed not 1 but both my kids his prices are reasonable and once again he straight slays.

Hector Rivera is the best barber Ive ever had in my life, I drive a whole 2 hours just to get a cut from this man. The barbershop itself is very professional and I wouldn’t sleep on any of the other barbers either.

Ive been going to Jose for the last 3 years, and recently went after a 9 month hiatus due to Covid19 and not needing a haircut due to shaving my own head. After going today it was nice to be back in the chair and have a nice fresh cut by the master himself.Given all the craziness going on with Covid, it was nice to see how Jose has kept the shop safe for customers and staff, with masks being worn by employees and by customers as well as hand sanitizer available for customers and surfaces sanitized before each customer.Working at a hospital and dealing with covid patients daily, its reassuring to see a business that cares for the customers and staff and keeps everyone safe regardless of what restrictions this governor feels are safe to lift. The main reason why I choose this Babrber shop is because they are very clean I see them spray each equipment used on my self I went to a few places but never felt so comfortable as they treated me with respect and care I have also noticed that hollywood understands I am running late a few minutes and still has people waiting but sticks to his appointment schedule and that’s the other reason why I choose them. Great shop... good vibe, good crew. Always have a good time and do a GREAT job cutting hair. They do all ages, and the best fade in O-town. Beards and always a straight razor finish if you want. I’ve seen some really difficult specialty cuts as well.

New to the Orlando area and decided to stop here to get my sons hair cut. Im so happy I did. I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted for his cut; just knew it needed to be cleaned up. Prior to finding Jose at the East Side Barber Shop, getting my 2 year old to sit quietly for a haircut was a completely stressful situation for the both of us.
