I have passed by Bigote for a while and finally called and made an appointment. You can also go to the website and book conveniently online. I was booked with Jose for a haircut and beard + mustache grooming. Upon arriving, I was greeted by basically everyone. Each barber was very engaged with the client in their seat, and they all had conversations as if they were family. I arrived early as dictated and was seated shortly after arriving. Jose was super friendly and struck up conversation without any awkward feel. Every few minutes, he would give me a full view of his current process to ensure I was happy; I was. The entire process, for me, was about 45 minutes. Jose is hyper focused and made sure to double and triple check his work for evenness. It had been nearly a year since my last cut, and I left feeling like an entirely different person, in the best of ways. Thank you Jose for turning that hunk of fur on my face into the detailed work of art. Bigote as a whole deserves 6 stars as the other barbers were also tremendous human beings and I could tell they truly cared about what they were doing and their workplace.

Was looking for a new place a while back, and I have found it! This group is always fun to go in and visit, along with a banging cut! I have gone to both Savanah and Sandy, both of which provide you with that new swagger youve been missing. And if you dont need that swagger, at least youll walk out feeling fresh and so clean, clean.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My barber was clearly in a rush. All other barbers were interacting with their customers. Mine never spoke to me, didn’t cut my hair like I asked, didn’t do a bears trim like I requested. I feel like they just stole money from me since I’m going to get another haircut tomorrow to get it fixed.

I have been going to Bigote for years and Savannah has been doing my hair. She is always very professional, on-time and I’m always satisfied with the cut and beard trim. Highly highly recommended

They welcomed my family. Sandy was so sweet and so gentle with my 1 year old! All the barbers said hi to him and we just felt so special! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! This establishment is unorganized and lacks professionalism. Even if you make an appointment, the employees don’t honor it which makes it very inconvenient for others who take time out of their own day expecting a nice haircut. I’ll find another place which is a shame because I live within walking distance.

Took my college age son for a holiday hair cut and shave and while it was pricey, $60, the service was great .The shop is really nice and very clean. Highly recommend.

Love the atmosphere, even wearing masks. I can book easily for regular trims to keep my hair neat and fresh. My guy José is great and I see him every 2-3 weeks. Its the kind of place you come in and build relationships, and if your guy (or gal) isnt available the rest of the staff is very capable. I also bring my son and Ms. Sandy is great with him. In and out in 30 min or less.

He has become a close friend who I highly respect and admire, and treats his clients and friends with a level of service and respect you don’t see much of these days. He is always very accommodating and pays great attention to detail which you can see in all his haircuts. I have to travel 45 minutes each way every time but its completely worth it to get the level of professionalism and atmosphere of the whole Bigote experience.As soon as you walk in, it feels like you took a step back in time into a rustic and classy turn of the century, early 1900’s establishment. The look and feel, entire staff and atmosphere are always very welcoming and so friendly that I always look forward to going in.They have a monthly plan where you can get your hair cut when you need it, so Ive been going once every week. It’s perfect if you like to keep your haircut fresh and for when youre constantly in front of clients.I would highly recommend the Bigote experience to anyone that is looking to get a great haircut, while enjoying a nice relaxing atmosphere and wonderful people!

Never before until I discovered this place did I have a home barber shop. Harvey made sure I did before my first visit ended, and I’ve been a member ever since. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I regularly see Mike and Chris, who both do an amazing job. Great place great haircuts. Reminds me of what a barber used to be like when I went with my dad as a kid. A place to just talk about anything. I have been there once so far and made me feel like I have been there a hundred times.

Harvey, the owner, provides individualized haircuts. He greets every customer by his or her name and with a contagious smile. They offer you coffee or beer pending your request. The store is clean and the staff amicable. Jose Mercado and Harvey provide great cuts and always work with your schedule. Great cuts, and even better people.

I have cerebral palsy, and because of that I need a reliable place to get a shave twice of week. For me, it is more than just a matter of convenience - it is a genuine need. Thats why I am so thankful that Bigote is in my neighborhood. I can book appointments on the app based on my schedule. I usually see Harvey, but have also gotten shaves from Chris, Mike, and Jose and they are all great. Its not always easy to shave a guy with cerebral palsy (it can be hard to stay still for long periods), but I have always felt welcomed, accepted, and valued by all the staff, and they always go the extra mile and do a wonderful job. I feel that having Bigote around the corner has given me an extra measure of independence, as I dont have to worry about how Im going to take care of my grooming needs. Plus, the atmosphere is really great. You dont see many of these true barbershops anymore that offer more services than just a simple haircut. Thanks, Harvey!

He has harnessed his amazing eye for style and talent and it shows with his Orlando team as well as the vibe and feeling in the shop. Bigote is simply the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. Everyone there is so nice and extremely talented, the owner Harvey treats everyone like family and the experience is top-notch. Beer on tap, great music, fantastic hair products and a great ambiance all add up to a haircut well worth its price.

Its a nice place and the guys are friendly, but I made an appointment for 11 and didnt get in the chair til around 1145. When I did, he started rushing through my beard and left it uneven and a patch on one side. No where close to what I wanted but it was too late. And for 50 bucks I expect better.

When getting a clean nice shave or Haircutt I havent found ANYBODY in the business better than my guys over at Bigotes! What an unreal experience they give you from the time you walk in to the time you leave and you always come out looking SHARP!! The shop is always clean and the staff is always friendly! Kudos to Harvey and staff! Dont change a thing!

I have been coming to Bigote for almost a year, getting my hair shaped, groomed, cut, and tailored to my specific requests, and EVERY TIME I leave after a cut from Mike Loperena, I am beyond impressed and satisfied with his work, a true artist! I move my personal schedule to accommodate his calendar because I won’t sit in anyone else’s chair! He never rushes, and while unnecessary, apologizes if he’s running a few minutes behind.Harvey, the owner, has created an atmosphere to be envied by the Winter Park competition (I left Floyd’s for Bigote). The music is on point, the shop is always clean, and the staff, always in the best mood!I recommend this establishment to anyone who needs to impress and put their best foot forward for ANY occasion.

I moved from The ATL to Baldwin recently and was excited that this would be the perfect barbershop. I was wrong, each time I went (every 2 weeks plus my son spending $30 plus with large tips) I always had an incident. The wait on a scheduled appointment is over 15 mins typically, they have called to cancel my appointments multiple times because of their personal schedules, they have pushed for big tips all but coming out and asking, and the cherry today moving my appointment without my knowledge with my son, only to state they didn’t have time to fit me in, even though multiple barbers were sitting around for over 20 mins. I went through 4+ barbers trying to find a fit to no avail. I do want to recognize Sandy, the barber for my son, she has been excellent from the start and was nice enough to fit me in even though the owner wasn’t willing to help, thank you Sandy! I look forward to checking out Floyd’s or Kennedy’s hoping for a good fit, Sandy even suggested that I try another place because they are always backed up, and I am extremely busy with family and work. 1 star Bigote and 5 stars for Sandy.

When i moved to baldwin i used to walk here to get my haircut. i’ve since moved out of baldwin but keep coming back because the staff is so friendly and helpful all the time. harvey always comes in with a smile on his face and shakes everyone’s hand. it’s a great atmosphere to hang out in and socialize for a few minutes while you get a haircut. five stars, especially for sandy!
