One of my favorite neighborhood bartenders recommended this neighborhood barber shop. Now, I owe him a drink or two.My barber, Clarissa, was very friendly, and took care to put me at ease, as Id not been to a barber shop since I was a kid, having had dreads for several decades. She listened with intent, and made certain that we were in agreement as far as what I wanted. And, perhaps most importantly, she took great care of me, in that she clearly knew what she was doing. I dont know much about the craft, but even a layperson can tell when theyre dealing with a craftsperson. She was skilled, careful, and took measures to earn my trust while also doing quality work.I cannot overstate how happy I am with the level of service I received, and I look forward to my next visit. I fully recommend giving this establishment your business.

I have been coming to Mr. Man Barbershop for over a year now and I have tired other barbershops throughout the city. This by far is the best shop that provides excellent customer service and warm welcoming atmosphere. Abbie is always cordial and ask if I want anything while I wait. After each shave I feel like a new man. Abbie and all her other barbers have skills with that blade. If you love details in your cut and beard. This is the spot in Orlando!

When I first came into this shop about a year ago I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and super cool atmosphere. Sadly, after a few visits I have had some of my experiences to be not as enjoyable. I am part of the LGBT+ community and have heard some less than desirable comments from the owner on her opinions. As well as coming into the shop and hearing political discussions including mask wearing which apparently is not priority to the owner either. Nothing wrong with opinions but as a business owner you must know it will make you lose people. Whether or not that matters is up to you. I’ve sat down in almost all of the ladies chairs and had great experiences with all! However I live in College park and people talk. I went to book an appointment this week and none of the girls are there anymore ...I feel like that is saying a lot.

Clarissa did a remarkable job! She is skilled and professional. Will definitely be back for another cut from her.

Abbie, the owner, is a top notch barber who knows what she is doing when it comes to haircuts. She’s been my go-to for about 4 years now and I don’t plan on changing. Sierra, Michelle, Bekah and Christie all are excellent barbers. I recommend all of them to my friends, coworkers and strangers who ask where I get my cut! This shop is the best, most down to earth, friendliest, and expert filled shop around. Ive gotten cuts from three of the barbers, and Im always happy with the way I look out the door. Its a fair price and you can always count on good conversation. They know me by name and take amazing care of me,even on a last minute appointment. I usually ask for Sierra, but theyre all top notch professionals. If you need to look good, this is the spot.

The vibe is great, all the barbers are very welcoming, today while I was getting my haircut at the same time there was a childs first haircut, a man getting a haircut for a wedding, and a senior just getting a trim. Ended up coming here after searching around online for a good Barbershop. I’ve been to probably about 10 different local shops in the last 5 years in search of the perfect place. It’s safe to say, I’ve finally found my place.The place itself is tucked away off a corner off Edgewater so finding a spot can be tricky at times but it’s not like going downtown. The shop is retro modern with call backs to the history of the spot (It’s Been a Barbershop for a long time!). I booked a last second appt. with Christy because I was long overdue for a cut. She listened to me and the style I wanted, and didn’t just do her own way like I’ve received at other shops. I can’t recommend this place enough, I’ve definitely become a customer for life!

Michelle is one of the best hairstylist Ive had. I have been getting my hair cut by her since she was at Sport Clips. She is always friendly and always has a smile. She also gives great recommendations for my often dry scalp.

I have been getting my haircut from Bekah for a few years now. She was at a previous establishment so I took my business with her to Mr. Man Barbershop.The atmosphere is great. All the ladies are extremely friendly and welcoming when you enter the shop. They pay attention to detail and the small things when cutting your hair. They have lots of extra services you can pick from which is well worth the visit. I would highly recommend the shop to others (and Bekah!) for all their haircut needs!

I am not good with what looks good on me. Michelle takes the time to get to know you and figure out the right look for you. It also helps that every time I leave people compliment me on my hair cut. Honestly would say love getting my hair cut here.

I have Bekah as my barber and shes great. She has top notch attentiveness to detail and takes her time. Shes very personable and makes you feel very welcome. Love the complimentary beer. A definite place to check out and make a regular spot for your haircut.

Mr Man’s Barbershop is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone who works here is absolutely incredible and you can tell that they all are passionate about what they do and every client who comes in those doors. Abbie is incredible, she’s the one I choose to get my hair cut from. She has created a fun environment, and after finding Mr. Mans I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for a hair cut.

First time going and was a little early. Had an appointment at 10 with Sierra for a beard detail. Well I didnt know anything about the shaping and told Sierra my beard is in your hands. She asked a bunch of questions about my beard so she could figure out the style. With a trim, shape and hot towel 35 minutes later I can only say 1 thing. DAMN!!!!! She killed it. Lines crisp and clean. Everything was tight and on point. Sierra nailed everything and EXCEEDED my expectations. That was my first time and guarantee not my last. Gonna start scheduling every month trims with her. Sierra u rock!!! See u next month

I booked an appointment through a website called genbook. I arrived on time. Both barbers seemed puzzled and not welcoming. One said she had a noon appointment but for someone else. They said I could sit in the back and the other said she was almost done. I sat there for 25 minutes before being annoyed enough to leave. They obviously took a walk in right before my appointment and didnt check the reservation log. It would have been nice to have a local place in the neighborhood, but Im not going to waste my time on poor service. Be honest about what happened. If you need 30 minutes, say that so I can plan my day accordingly.
