This the worst place to live. They don’t care for the residents. You go to the office and they don’t do anything. People do the freaking grilled late night and they play music loud. You call the office and they don’t do anything. I can wait to live this crazy place. I almost forgot maintenance, they are a joke they don’t know what they doing. When they repaired some things in the apartment they never do it right.

Just go ahead and skip this apartment complex during your search. Comments about the rudeness of the office staff are dead on. I walked in to speak to a leasing consultant and despite the fact that I had arrived first, a middle aged woman just breezed in the door after me and sat down at the ladys desk to jabber for 45 minutes like they were old friends. Finally, another employee took notice of me and led me back to an office where I stated I was looking for a 1 bed/1 bath apartment. The woman threw a brochure at me and told me she had no 1 bedroom units available. I went on to tell her that I would not be needing it until June and that I was just interested in seeing what their apartments were like. She then sighed heavily, grabbed her keys and took me to see a model apartment. When we walked in, I noticed that the model was a 2 bedroom. I asked how close of a resemblance it bore to the 1 bedroom to which she replied, None at all. Angry at this point, I took my sweet time looking over every inch of the apartment. The fresh coat of paint on the walls was just about the only new thing about it. The appliances were definitely museum-ready and the cabinets just screamed 1980s. Going into the bedroom, I was alarmed by a gray metal box mounted on the wall making a fairly loud electrical buzz. There was also a musty smell throughout. Needless to say, after visiting other Camden properties in Orlando, I was not impressed. Do not waste your time here unless you want to know what apartment living was like back in the 80s.

3/5/16 Under new management since January 2016 and called Barber Park Apartments. Things have improved quite a bit. Four stars and not five for the following reasons: I would love to see would be designated parking for residents and guests. Things get a bit annoying when youve got to park by the next building but have to carry in groceries. Also, the key card gate situation is less than desirable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. It doesnt provide any actual security as people can easily follow you in. The gates that require manual opening and closing by staff never seem to be open or closed at consistent times.

Since Arium Barber took over this place is going down the drain. Upkeep of the buildings at an all time low (Camden use to clean the spider webs, pools, and property often). Majority of the staff could care less about the residents here. The prices keep going up and have yet to see an upgrade in my home.

This place is now called Arium at Barber Park. Please take note I never actually got to live here. I showed up to look at the place and it seemed nice enough. I filled out paper work got a place with no deposit; I thought great, cant wait to get moved. Right after I set up my move in date I was told to set up renters insurance, OUC electric and any other services I needed. The day after I set everything up i received a call telling me the apt I was offered was not available. Things happen didnt get to bothered by that. They set me up in a second place; a bigger unit for the same price. It was a whopping 13 sq. ft. bigger, whatever? I was ok with that. Got my insurance set up again, redid OUC, cable/internet etc. I was told to come in the day before move in to finalize the lease. This was the third time in the office and Ive never seen the same person in there twice. Once again I was told that the 2nd unit was not available either. Again I had to go back cancel insurance, OUC, everything...That day they told me a unit would be available by the end of the week. They would call back the next day by noon to finish this all up. Noon came and went with no phone call. I called them and was told that unit was also not available. This is where I gave up on this place. The magnitude of incompetence in this place is overwhelming. My advice to all would be to just go elsewhere. I cant even imagine what it would be like to live here with this level of ineptitude coming from main office. Seriously, this place is a joke. Good luck!

This place has changed management 3 times in 5 months. STAY AWAY. Rent increased 15%, and maintenance is non-existent at this point.
