I called and was told my fare would be $38 - $42, the app said the fare would be $38 and change.The actual fare was $55 and the most direct route was taken.Professional driver and he was on time so I tipped him nicely on top of the $55 but the app should be more accurate.UPDATED Mears Transportation checked with the local office and responded to me with a reasonable explanation, a matter of the app showing the shortest route $ charge and the driver taking the fastest route that included tolls.The app could probably show that difference but I respect a corporation that replies to comments and upgraded the rating because the app worked appropriately in terms of having a driver there on time and getting me to my destination on time.
Booked a taxi to take me to Orlando Airport from St Cloud. I booked it through the app on Aug.30th for October 1st. I called 2 times in the weeks leading up to the date as I had an 830am flight. At 5:45am the taxi was supposed to arrive, it was a no show. I called, at first they could not find my reservation, then told me they had no cars in the area! Told the person I have a flight to catch, she responded “thank you for calling Mears Transportation” and hung up. No wonder Disney is dumping them from the Magical Express.
Mears is the only transportation company I have used while visiting Orlando over the past 15 years (shuttles pre-Covid and now taxis). The drivers have always been professional, courteous and on time. I will continue to use Mears Transportation while in Orlando.
Good quality and reliable taxi service. I call for guests of HGV all the time. More reliable than Uber or Lyft. Will be a tad more expensive but you can trust the drivers more as well. A very good business.
What a NIGHTMARE!Flight was delayed by a couple hours, so I made a courtesy call to advise and make sure someone would be there for pick up. I was told that dispatch monitors the flights and will keep an eye on it to be there at the correct time.Flight landed after 12am(midnight) and it took forever to find the driver. He was not where we were told he’d be, nor did he have a sign. We finally found him and got into the car. He dropped us off at the hotel, only to figure out upon check in that he took us to the wrong hotel!Reservations were made with the correct address for the hotel. Somehow, the office people gave him another hotels address. (same brand of hotel, just a different location) When calls were made to dispatch, the number goes to voicemail! Was able to reach the driver directly and when I told him he needed to return to the hotel to get everyone to the correct hotel, he stated “lady, I don’t work for free!” As if I didn’t pay for the transfer to begin with!DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THESE PEOPLE! Complaint has already been filed and all subsequent transfers with them have been cancelled and rebooked with another company.
I landed in Orlando with my 2year old after our flight was delayed Thursday afternoon. I called the reservation number prior to landing and was informed by Johnathan (super nice) they were tracking my flight. Once we deplaned I received a call from my Driver Remy, he was already waiting in baggage claim for us. My 1st time using Mears but honestly it was perfect despite the reviews. I hope this helps someone, we are leaving Sunday and will have a driver also. So far so good I will be using in New York also.
Wife and I had to shuttle to and from Orlando International to Universal studios, the coach was nice and clean, the drivers were very respectful and nice....they even helped off load all the luggage from the underside of the bus. Would definitely recommend

You need to teach your drivers to 1. Learn how to merge onto a highway. As in dont pull in front of a big truck without speeding up. (Good thing Noone was on my left)2. Learn what a turn signal is for, especially if you are going to weave in and out of traffic on the way to the airport.3. My husband and I did the shuttle star service between Orlando International airport and Universal Royal Pacific Resort. At first, it appears to be a great deal and a great service. The drivers are very nice and the drive isn’t bad. The downside - communication is terrible and they picked us up 30 min late to take us to the airport. I waited 45 minutes to let them know when our flight times were and the phone customer service is abrasive and rude. I would never recommend this service, taking a taxi would be easier and probably cheaper.
We booked a private shuttle for our party of 8 from the airport to Loews Sapphire Falls. I had messed up the flight # and they were very flexible and great with communication. Our driver was waiting at baggage with a sign. Pickup from hotel back to airport was also smooth. I would highly recommend Mears!
We had a ride to and from universal Orlando, had our times all set up, morning driver was great, our ride back never showed up, company wouldn’t answer phone calls, different driver got us but didn’t know why he was picking up extra people, we were never told what happened or why we weren’t picked up, we had waited for over an hour. And yes we were at the correct stop and early.
We paid for a shuttle through this service from the airport to our hotel and back. Our flight was delayed and so we contacted them and informed them and they told us that we would have to contact the after hours number once we landed. We called the number and were on hold for close to 20 minutes and never got through to anyone. Another family that was waiting finally got someone and we got on the shuttle with them. The shuttle driver kept trying to get us to show proof that we were supposed to be on the shuttle and we showed him the confirmation email sent to us (which was the only email we received) he kept wanting something else, but finally let us on. Fast forward to the end of our vacation. We got a confirmation text that our shuttle would be at the hotel at 10:15. We called around 10 minutes after this time and were told that the shuttle was on its way. It still didnt show. The only redeeming factor was a Mears cab driver who was waiting to take another family to the airport who offered to take us with them if they were okay with it. They were and he was very kind and helpful. I would not recommend the shuttle services operated by Mears.
We called to schedule a pickup after a dinner show, 45 minutes prior to show end. 15 minutes after our scheduled time, no taxi and when we called were told we dont know when well have someone to pick you up, so were left with two kids in a dark parking lot. Fortunately the dinner show had an alternate we could use instead who kept the time they gave us and were easy to work with. This is after I had to provide directions to the dinner show to a Mears driver in the first place to get to the show on a major road. Wish I could put a negative number of stars.
Utterly unreliable. You can watch 3-4 buses come and go to the SAME LOCATION before the bus to your chosen destination arrives. The projected arrival times are meaningless, blank, or frequently changing. The only positive point is that the Disney drivers are always friendly.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My mom booked transportation for my family of 7 which included an electric wheelchair to be picked up @ 730am. Me and my niece head down so we arent late cause my nephew had an accident right before we were to leave so they had to change and clean him up. Get down to the transportation area at Pop Century where they are supposed to pick us up and take us to Universal studios. There is a gentleman in a suit by a Camry and I asked if he was for us he said yes. Where is everyone I said they will be right here there is 7 of us. At that point he looked upset and it sounded like he said he was going to leave. He said there is another van coming too cause we booked 2 cars since the dispatcher when we made the reservation said we needed 2 to fit all 7 and a scooter, which isnt true more on that later. Van pulls up far from us and he waves him over. Driver in the Camry says that we have to have one of us help them out and put the wheelchair in the van. Van pulls up and he doesnt have a lift, not going to risk injury to one of us putting it in and both drivers didnt really seem to want to help. Driver in the Camry and my mom both call to find a solution. The lady who answered the phone was great dont remember her name. She got us right over to the supervisor and the supervisor was really helpful. She said they will send us a van that has a lift and will fit ALL 7 of us, wow why didnt they offer this in the first place. She even comped the transportation there and back as now we have been waiting almost an hour from the scheduled time. Had the same problem at pickup 2. They sent the small van 980 not the big van, which sped by where Maurice had told us they would pick us up. Took almost another hour and half to get picked up this time. Van told the dispatcher he couldnt pick us up and then turns around and gets our call again. NEVER US MEARS TRANSPORTATION

We used Mears this week for a transfer from Sanford Airport to a Disney hotel. We had Claudel for both legs and he was so wonderful! He was a great driver, arrived early for both legs, and was so kind and soft spoken. The car was beautiful and clean and even smelled good. 5 stars for Claudel and the service but I took off 1 star bc it was super pricey for a 50 min drive each way; it actually cost most per person than our Allegiant flights did.
Poor service. The IOS and Android apps dont show your driver on route to you and when they do show up you get a late notification via text. Dont even bother calling, well match a driver to your location yeah 2 hours later. Dont waste your time.

We got on Cab number 352 today Thursday 24 June at around 5:20pm from Hollywood Studios to Holiday Inn in Disney Springs. Upon arrival the fair came to $6.00. This is the fee that reflected on his screen, meter fee The driver began clicking a button that stated extra until $15:40 appeared on the screen. Then he told us $15.00, we felt robbed and something is wrong however we simply paid the fee that he wanted. We feel that this cab driver is dishonest and he over charged us. If this happened to us then that means this is what he does and will continue to rob customers. I felt that it was important to report his behavior in hopes that another customer will not feel what we felt today. I called to report this however no answer. I sent an email then looked up reviews and saw a customer that felt overcharged as well a week ago. This behavior is very sad.
After getting our dispatch confirmation at 412AM, the taxi inexplicably cancelled at our 430AM pick-up time, replacement taxi showed up at 5 in a compact car for our family of 4. The driver had no idea how to navigate 12 miles to Sanford. We only made our 630AM flight because of weather delays. This taxi service is *NOT* recommended for time-sensitive travel.
Long post alert. If from out of town like we were, and looking for any resemblance of reliable transportation, look elsewhere! We reserved in advance as needed a car seat for our 3 year old for a day trip to seaworld. The pick up at the hotel was on time. The car seat was flush with the back seat and would have been impossible for our daughter to sit in. After reinstalling it we got to our destination. The driver left so fast that we didnt even have time to grab all of our belongings even after we left 110% tip! We had to call to have him come back. Even though we called as soon as he pulled away we were put on hold and had to wait almost 30 min for him to come back with our stuff but he advised he would be the one to pick us back up. Come to the end of the day, we of course want to stay longer and shop but didnt want to miss our reserved time. But no one was there. After waiting 15 min we called and after 15 min on hold we were told they didnt have the car ( that was booked over 24 hrs in advance) Available. The representative was 100% unhelpful and could not even give me an estimated time. I was asking for like s 5 min range but was more this hour? But still nothing. I asked to speak with a supervisor who was just as unhelpful, and somewhat rude. Also told me nothing and couldnt even confirm would be coming at all. Im writing this 2.5 hours after our reserved pick up time and still have not even confirmed dispatched. Keep in mind again was with a 3 year old and elderly mother that just left us stranded. Save yourself the aggravation and go with a more reliable service. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy and will never give them my business again.UPDATE: OUR INITIAL PICK UP TIME WAS FOR 6:15 PM. IT IS NOW AFTER 1230 THE NEXT MORNING AND WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR TAXI OR A CALL TO EVEN UPDATE THE STATUS!!!! thank goodness we were able to secure safe transport home. I wouldnt risk ever booking a ride with them again. They should be ashamed of their service and really should look into a new way of doing business.
We paid $126 +tips for 3 people to be shuttled from MCO to a hotel 20 miles away. For that price and private service I was suprised that we were not picked up at the airport pickup location but rather had to walk across the street to the parking garage in the rain while carrying our own bags. First of all, I would like to thank whoever our first driver was because they were very friendly and gave us a great rate. On our second ride, we were not so lucky. Our driver did not care about us at all and charged us a flat fee without starting the fee meter. This charge was almost double what we paid the day before. Our ride was short but very pricey. It was a bad experience overall.
I saw the poor reviews but decided to use Mears nonetheless. Big mistake! There was a small issue upon airport arrival. I had to call the corporate number to find our driver. We finally find our driver and load up to head to our hotel. The driver missed our exit, but instead of going to the next exit and turn around, he REVERSED ON THE INTERSTATE! We were all shocked and scared to say the least! We finally make it to our hotel and I immediately contact our travel agent. Mears owner was supposedly notified and was told I would receive a call to apologize and a promise our return trip to the airport would be better. Never received a call from anyone with Mears and our return driver must have felt he was in the latest Fast and Furious movie with the speeding and weaving in and out of lanes. I was refunded for our round trip transportation, but I feel like that was from our travel agent and not Mears. I urge everyone to please not ignore the numerous negative reviews! I would rather walk than book Mears for any future services.
I have not used them nor driven for them. But in reading through their website, they seem nice and professional and prompt. Everyones budget is different. Everyones taste is different. If this is who you want to call for shuttle service to your destinations, then feel free to do so.
This place has zero communication. We stayed at Disney Resort and requested a Mears shuttle bus for transport to universal. Requested an 8:20am shuttle and got booked with another family for the same time small shuttle. Instead of a shuttle we got placed in a taxi, which tried to charge us again despite the prepay for the shuttle. Then we were told the busses arive every hour on the hour, we arrived at 7:45pm for pick up and there was no bus present. Even worse, no signage, no communication. We called the company to see if we could transfer the fees to the taxi instead... no go. They told us to hope for the 8:45pm bus and if that no showed... THEN we get a refund. So now we currently sit in the rain waiting another hour at the bus stop we hope is correct for a bus that we hope shows up. Thanks.

My mother needed a wheelchair taxi and we waited three hours. She wanted to go shopping. She had to miss out because they only had one wheel chair taxi for the whole Orlando. What kind of mess is that. All theses people in Orlando with wheel chairs and other devices have to miss out on things because a taxi company only have a few cars for people with disabilities. They need to do something about it if they want to continue to stay in business. Another time we had to wait ten hours. Crazy. We tried to give them another try,because things happen. Not anymore. Never using Mears again. If you are smart you will not use them either.
I booked Mears on their App for a 4AM car service to the airport. I never used them before and was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it $20 less than Uber Black they were early for pick-up, very polite with a clean, late model black Lincoln. I would definitely use them again and now have the App on my phone.
I am only giving one star because I have to select something. We took the big van from the airport about 20 minutes ago and the driver was speeding. We asked him nicely to slow down because I e had kids in the car and he proceeds to STOP the car in the middle of the interstate and tells us he isn’t speeding. We asked him again and he continues to tell us he isn’t speeding and isn’t slowing down. Wow! Do better
I had the pleasure of having William as my driver on a shuttle bus from the JW Marriott to Animal Kingdom. His charismatic attitude made my day and I could tell that he genuinely enjoyed his job. Never have I ever experienced better customer service and he made my day 10x better. I hope this review brings recognition to his excellence and that he is rewarded- because I can promise you he is an asset to this company!
I am BEYOND happy with our experience with Mears Taxi. After landing in Orlando super late at night, horrible rental car experience, we decided to pick a taxi travel to our hotel. We were seated with another family traveling to a different hotel a few miles away from us. I FORGOT MY PURSE IN THE TAXI. After 30 minutes on the phone with Robert, third shift supervisor, we were unable to track down our driver. We never got his name. I sat outside crying when I heard a beep of a car. I looked up and it was our taxi driver who HONESTLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, returning my purse to me after he had dropped off the other family. I am so relieved and wish I got this gentleman’s name. There are GOOD PEOPLE in this world!!

I gave one star because it won’t let me put no stars. Handicap taxi picked up my husband from our hotel to take him to the store when my husband got dropped off he called right away for a pickup in an hour customer service said that they will be there in one hour. He waited 1 1/2 hours before having to drive his mobile scooter with our daughter 2 miles to get back to our hotel. When I called they said someone will be there soon we just have to wait and that they would get a text when on there way. It’s the next day and still never got a text.
You have no idea who these drivers are or where they come from. I wont risk a ride with uber just to save a buck.

I have utilized Mears 3 times within the last 48 hours and things went exceptionally well; however tonight customer service was slow to adhere to my request. Left me waiting, no text confirmation and long hold time. No explanation as to why I was told ride was on the way and an hour later still no ride or answer.
Very unprofessional and rude to employees and customers. Cannot keep employees because they do not know how to treat their staff. It starts with management and continues down to the supervisory level. As a manager if you don’t treat your staff with respect they will not respect each other. What kind of manager are you? When employees complain suddenly they are out of a job. There is no open door policy. I would not work here either. This is why you can’t keep employees.

I received a text at 3am the morning prior to pick up that stated that they didn’t not have a 10 passenger van and could only accommodate 8 people in our party and 2 would have to arrive by another vehicle they would provide. After we landed we find that there is only the 8 passenger vehicle at our pick up location. After several phone calls and incredibly rude customer service (the lady who would not stop talking over me), I was transferred to a Lyft driver. Neither I nor the driver had any idea why and what we were connected to each other for. 30 minutes after our group of 8 left the airport, my husband and I finally got into a Lyft. We received a call from another Mears employee who continued to accuse me of lying about the 3am text and even asked me to send a picture of it at an email she gave me for her supervisor. I also sent proof that we ordered a 10 passenger vehicle 2 months prior and even confirmed within 24 hrs of pick up. This call lasted almost the entire 1 hour drive to our destination. I will never use this company again. They are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent.
Dont waste your money on this disorganized, unprofessional and unreliable transportation. They had my children and I waiting for nearly two hours at MCO airport after arriving at 11PM. The customer service agents kept lying and saying that the driver was in route but he never showed. We wound up calling a Lyft. Save yourself the trouble and call someplace else. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS if that were an option.

$200.00 for a taxi. Make sure you add $100.00 to the rate they give you before you get into the car and give them your destination address. It is metered and they take the highway with the most traffic. I am going to stick with my driver who charges $65.00 + tip from the airport and knows the roads with no traffic.Yes, it was a Mears taxi. According to the receipt, the driver’s name was Imani. I took a video when the rate just kept going up past $175.00. The bottom line is I asked the driver how much it would cost to go to my destination and she “put” it in her system and retorted, “About $100.00”. Then when I saw us take an hour to get to Disney Springs and overall there wasn’t traffic just yet, and it was over $100.00 already, I started to ask questions. She thought we weren’t familiar with Orlando. She said the gps sent her somewhere else. Then when I saw $130,140, $150 and up and up, I started to get furious! This picture at $181. Itwasn’t even at the destination.
Basic service nothing to boast about I gave them a four stars out of five because they are clean fast and reliable.
The dispatchers are very poorly trained. I spoke to Ella (?) Several times and she still had trouble getting a taxi dispatched to a Disney hotel. They must have a contract with Disney because that was the only taxi the Bellman was able to call. We waited for well over an hour trying to get a taxi to the hotel. Find another means of transportation.
We used Mears while on vacation in Florida ... there were 8 of us ... it was as easy as using Uber or Lyft ... the upside is there are NO upcharges during heavy travel times ... prices remain consistent and competitive 24/7 ... not to mention every driver we had were beyond friendly and helpful. If one couldnt do it, they would find a driver that could ... 💜
Had my sons birthday party and Spoke with a representation and SCHEDULED a wheelchair van pick up 24 hours in advanced for my father. We exchanged information And left it at that.. the next day we NEVER received a transport.. I called and they canceled my scheduled pick because they were low on drivers lol.. you are MEARS FOR GOD SAKES.. they claim they left a voice Mail.. we live in the 21st century we can see a missed call.. obviously no call was placed and my father missed his grandson birthday... I will never do business with this company again..
So many mistakes and misunderstandings but thank god for Hemwattie S!!!! She was my original driver before my flight got canceled and was my saving grace. Each time I had an issue with Mears (yes, there was more than 1 over the length of my trip) I texted her and she made sure the situation was handled. I tried calling their office many times, never got an answer, and was then asked how I would rate their customer service. I laughed out loud because it was so absurd. I will only give them my business upon returning to Orlando if Hemwattie is my driver- no one else. Ask for her specifically or find another car service because they made every trip a headache.
We were in a bind trying to get to the airport from our resort, having no luck with other transportation services. Called Mears and they had a taxi out to us in no time and taxi #704 was able to get us to the airport on time. Would definitely recommend using this taxi service!
The wait times for this company are horrendous, it is absolutely unprofessional to keep a client waiting more than an hour for transport and lately I have waited on average more than an hour and a half for a ride. It is with great shame I can only leave a single star because if it was possible to leave a review without one, I would have. I am disappointed with this company and hope they can fix this issue.
I had a driver named Dominic transport me and my two teenage daughters from the Magic Kingdom back to our hotel at Disney Springs. The driver was very rude and yelled at me bc there was issues with the credit card machine in the shuttle van. He kept yelling at me to hurry, then yelled at me and my daughters to get out of the van. Never opened the door or was polite. He also managed to take a $5.00 tip from me when I wasn’t planning on leaving him one bc he was so rude. I’ve tried reaching out to the company and no one has responded. Also, my daughter found a credit card wedged in the seat when she got into the van and he was acting as if we were going to keep it when she was trying to hand it to him.
Santos cab # 208 was great!! He was on time very helpful offered to take us to airport on our way home. We used him both to our hotel and back to airport. He text to confirm the day before our flight and he showed up early. He made our stay at Disney so easy.
Was given an ETA for shuttle arrival at the airport, which extended several times to over an hour after my initial expected time. Should have been picked up at 12:05am, gave up at 1am and took Uber instead (who arrived within 7 minutes). Terrible service, especially considering we had a late arrival with children. It surprises me Universal would contract with acompany whose ratings on Google are consistently less than good.

There is not a single time that this company hasnt taken over 20-30 minutes to answer after being on hold. Even in a case of emergency they will NOT answer and this has nothing to do with the drivers. Absolutely ridiculous and useless i would never use this company for a ride ever again, whoever answers the phone always is super rude this company is absolutely out of hand.

We asked for a ride from Gatorland to Universal Dockside Resort at 5:29pm on 8/5. Almost a hour later we called back and they said they were sending someone. Finally 2 hrs later we called someone else, they did send someone but we had already called some else. What a terrible experience. And we missed non refundable reservations!
Jeff was our driver. Im so grateful for his kindness. He came back to pick my family and I up from the airport after our resevation was accidently canceled due to a flight delay earlier in the morning that caused confusion with our pick up time. Our baggage did not arrive on our new flight and he patiently waited until we got everything sorted out with the airline and then drove us to our hotel. He was also our driver on the retun trip and greeted us with a smile upon picking my family up. He was very professional, kind and patient. I could not be more appreciative.
When we arrived at the airport, we needed transportation to our Hotel, the lady was kind to get the man to get our bags and we were off to our Hotel at least we thought we told him which Hotel we would be staying at, he assured us he new where it was after watching the meter going up really fast I thought this sure is a long way so I turned on my map he Hurd it go off and was not happy that I did that he ask which way to go, I was stunned I knew then he was running up that meter when we finally arrived it was $70 dont even use this service get an Uber it only cost $17 to go back to the airport so sad 😭
They charge the driver to much money for a rental to go to work. What is worse about is sometime you go to work you dont even make the Cab money, so you have to pay it out of pocket. Another bad thing in the slow season they keep the price the same. What you make in the high season you use it to pay for the low, if that the only thing you do you will never have money save if you are shift driver. Best thing is became a week, but to much as....I give two stars because youll be able to make some money sometime
Unlike their San Francisco based competitors you can book in advance. Fantastic for business travel.
Very pricey. Price for Mears transportation tripled. I was under the impression that the driver would charge me a flat rate from the airport to my hotel. Instead, he turned on the meter similar to the ones on a taxi. Next time Ill request a Lyft or rent a car.
This booking was easy and efficient. The taxi arrived early and was amazing. Highly recommend this service when I’m the Orlando area.
Ordered a vehicle with a carseat from an amusement park. They were absolutely accommodating!
Called night before and scheduled a van for family of five with extra luggage and they were right on time and got us to the airport quickly and safely. Price was also very reasonable.

This service is so unprofessional when it comes to service dogs. Each driver has a different rule and attack you on the way you should board with my service pet. Made me feel as if my handicap was embarrassing or a trouble for them to administer their job in. Polite way to make me and my service dog comfortable. Spoke to me in a way that was offensive, unkind and wrong at all sense of reason. I know they have the market on transportation in Orlando and many world wide venues. They need better schooling on the handicap with service dogs .. shame on Mears
Absolutely reckless, compassionless, and nonchalant drivers and staff! Today’s incident is just another in a long line of terrible experiences I have either had myself or witnessed over the years. Driver in taxi van #1503, license plate #Y65IFI (or something close) was speeding behind me heading eastbound on I-4 around 11:05 this morning and decided to pass ON THE RIGHT into the space between me and the vehicle in front of me, which was too narrow for him to do and he didn’t even use his turn signal until he was ALREADY PULLING INTO MY LANE, CUTTING ME OFF. I blared my horn, but he didn’t care or move back. I took note of his info and called Mears, speaking with “Christina” to tell her about this act and she could not care LESS. No apologies, just a “I’m not sure that’s even illegal, but I’ll tell my supervisor.” COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INEXCUSABLE. STAY AWAY from this company and if you see one of theirs driving on the road, AVOID it!!!

I knew I didnt want to depend on Uber/Lyft, so I decided on a reliable mode of transportation with Mears. Im glad I chose the black car service.
Poor communication. They never showed up. When we called them they couldn’t give us an estimated time. We waited over 50 minutes and they still had no idea when they would have an available van. They said they couldn’t send a car for 4 people because no one could sit in front. Why wouldn’t they tell us that in the first place? Absolutely horrible customer service.
We called when Disney Epcot 04/19/21 closed. Waited 30 minutes. ( 3 riders) Called back and was told we would get a confirmation number. Never got a text. A cab showed up did not stop. Later; around 11:45 a van showed up. Took us 13 miles out of our way. Tried to charge for his mistakes. Van #625.
We are a transportation company in Canada and we have been working with Mears for +5 years in the USA. They have always provided us with excellent service. Their Drivers are excellent, and the Global Service staff answering the phones is knowledgeable and easy to work with. If you are looking to book transportation in the USA, I would defiantly recommend Mears.
The wait time to place a call/set up a reservation is terrible. Be prepared to wait anywhere from 20-30 minutes on the phone listening to jazz music.

This is the absolute worst experience everrrrrre..... I dont understand why they dont just go out of business. You wait a hh for the phone to be answered then another hour maybe for a cab. My phone had died the lady felt comfortable telling me that it might be available in an hour. Uber takes 10 minutes its cheaper and you dont have No one playing dumb af
We are regular visitors to Universal and fly into SFB. Being spring break there was a shortage of drivers for both Uber and Mears. That being said when our taxi driver decided to take the long route because we were from out of town, it didn’t go unnoticed. An $75/$80 drive turned into $100. And when I pointed out our hotel, she actually asked if we knew the area, seemingly admitting that she’d taken the long way round. I will not use this service nor can I recommend it to anyone.
Order a wheelchair van for my auntie at 0800 for her to go to my house with a 1830 pick... no van showed up, no phone call to let me know whays going on I call at 2036 to see where van was told it is on the way. At 0010 I call to find out what happen to van was told they cancel... my auntie waited 6 hour for no service.... poor service to the disabled
Van 951, today in Orlando at the Florida Mall, went straight in a turn lane twice cutting me off BOTH times. Kept stopping at intersections that had signs posted that they shouldnt stop, then to top it all off, cut me off one last te from a turn lane. Next time one of their drivers goes in for their license, they should just turn them down immediately. Never used this service and never will thanks to the dangerous driving practices.
Very disappointing service for your Disney Magical Express service. We arrived at MCO on Friday March 26th on a flight which arrived at 9:30PM. Getting to the Magical Express area we checked and got in line to wait along with about 200 others. Not one bus, finally after waiting 75 minutes we were relegated to a shuttle van. Fast forward to our return to MCO on Saturday April 3rd. We were given a 1:30pm reservation for a bus. After sitting at the resort boarding location the lead bell hop came to us at 2pm to get our info and call you guys. After being on hold forever with you and no help, he finally called us a cab. It may seem inconsequential to you and your business but children who were looking forward to the bus ride and what goes along with it do not find it inconsequential. Extremely disappointing.
