Als literally became my favorite store or all time.I went there for the first time last night and was blown away.The staff there was top notch. Seriously. We walked the the entire store, and everywhere we went, the staff would approached us and ask how we are doing and if we need any help.I will be doing all my Xmas shopping there for sure.

Customer service is great. They’ll work with you to get what you need and I like that. They also have good pricing and great pricing when they do a sale. Don’t miss when they have sales because they are REAL sales not the fake 10% off sales. Logan, UT is lucky to have AL’s…

I love this place! Really amazing selection of goods in all departments, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and fantastic prices. I’m usually going in for snowboarding and mountain biking equipment and they always have what I need. You can’t go wrong shopping here!

Usually a pretty busy location but lines are never super slow for being in a mall. Always have super cute clothes but are quite expensive. Things like Yeti cooler and cups are nice to buy here because they have sales on them a lot so they are cheaper then other places, even online, a lot of the time.

The staff is great, but selection is varied. Be ready to drop dough at this place. I would give 5 stars, but the prices can be a bit high.

At first we loved that we got 4 bikes here so we went back to get 2 more. We asked about scheduling the first 4 bikes for tune ups. They said it had been almost 2 months and they only do free tune ups in first 30 days. To which we responded, “We have bought 6 bikes in 60 days and you are going to haggle over a tuneup?” Their response sarcastic, “Oh yeah! You have totally kept us in business with your 6 bikes!” Will not be returning to this store.

I have bought almost all of my guns here! The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful,They will give you their opinions but won’t be the annoying type that tries to force you to do whatever their overly strong opinion is. They have the best prices and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else to Buy my guns! They also price match but I have rarely needed to price match because they are usually the best price place in this area.They have also been super helpful in the case that I do returnsI really wish they had a range...Maybe one day when they grow they can expand that!

Awesome store. The staff are friendly and they have a good selection of quality gear. There are so many departments that you dont have to go to many stores to get what you need. I ordered something online but as it turned out they didnt have it but, they worked to make it right which I appreciated. Some great deals and they are amazing with their price match.

I bought a fishing device that was defective and they do not do returns for anything that has been opened, even if it doesnt work. I probably wont be shopping here again. The employee that helped me was very friendly and offered to sign me up for the VIP program which is nice but I would have rather had them stand by the things they sell.

Still waiting on my $100 refund one week later. I called to follow up and was told refunds take 10 business days. In 2021? Seriously? This is a digital age. 😅 Ive never had any refund take this long, especially a basic retail return. Starting to think Im never getting my money back...Update: magically got my refund the morning after leaving this review. Fancy that. 😉

Super organized, super helpful and friendly staff. They directed me right to where I needed to be, I bought some hiking poles, and a really sweet water bottle filter. Good prices, very satisfied!

Their customer service is amazing. I ordered a wakeboard online and then found out that they actually didnt have it. I was devastated. We went to the store and Nicholas talked us through the available boards and which would be the best fit for me. He was extremely knowledgeable and really cared about helping me. With his help and the help of online customer service I ended up with a board that will be even better for the same price. I walked in sad about not getting the board I originally ordered and walked out feeling like Christmas in July. Thanks St. Nick!

Als has a wide selection of outdoor equipment and clothing available. I recently dropped by to get some camping equipment and expected to pay a couple hundred dollars but everything I needed was on sale and only spent around a hundred. I didnt notice many employees on the floor to help find things but overall have always had a good experience here.

Good selection but busy enough that it can be hard to get help or questions answered.

Soccer selection was very poor1 tiny row of nothing is a very bad representation of one of the fastest growing sports in our county. And the number 1 sport in the world.

I ordered the Columbia Global Adventure Sun Protection Hat online and was very happy with both the hat and the service the North Logan, UT store provided. They shipped it immediately after I ordered it. It arrived just a few days after ordering and it was packed very carefully with a good, sturdy box and plenty of packing inside. I had read some stores like to roll the hat like a cigar and cram it into a small box, so I was very pleased that Als chose not to do that but instead packed it with care. Als price was also well below Columbias retail price. I would highly recommend Als Sporting Goods and would give it more than 5 stars if I could. They did everything right.

I love this store. I bought a Petzl headlight for running. They had plenty in stock and in just the style and color I wanted and best of all, the price was great. The store has so many great items and is clean and well organized. My only regret was that I didnt have more time to see everything. The cashier was friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be coming back.

I bought a bicycle at Al’s today and a young man named Carter helped me. It was a wonderful experience! Carter is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with bikes and very personable. He rides a lot a has some good experience to offer helpful advice. I will definitely return for more shopping.

We spend a lot of time at AL’s and have found good deals. Overall, I am impressed with their inventory and prices. You can pretty much find anything you need here. Most of their staff are friendly and willing to help. We have run into a few issues with staff not knowing a lot of information that would be helpful though. It could be a product of covering SO many areas of recreation. We had an employee me my new Osprey backpacking backpack, that was purchased from AL’s and was potentially too small for me, was not eligible for replacement under Osprey’s warranty. However, I later discovered, Osprey allows return for any reason, including size. We’ve had a few instances like this where we either know or feel like we are being given incorrect advice by employees.I wish the employees were experts in the topics so we could get top-notch advice, but I’m sure that’s probably not possible. But as I said, I’m happy with most of the aspects of the store and their inventory and we will continue shopping here, I’d just do your research on gear too.

Hands down my favorite sporting goods store in the utah valley area. Find everything you need here and usually you’ll find it on ale. The staff is the best. Very friendly and willing to help you find anything you need. I highly recommend you coming to als.

Great storeI spent a ton here and love itI was however stopped for allegedly stealing a hat that I had on going into the store. I was pulled aside the hat taken and questioned as to when I purchased the hat.In other words, my property was seized, my identification was demanded and proof of purchase was required. I would like to note no probable cause was presented outside of the alarm at the front door going off.

Bought a bike at Al’s today. Carter was the associate who helped me. He is very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend working with Carter in the bike section. He also hooked me up with all the supplies and accessories that I needed. Thanks Carter and Al’s. Luke was also REALLY great.

Als is a great place to.get anything you need for fun in the sun, sports, travel, exploration, or anything in between. Their staff are courteous and friendly and have never failed to ask me if I need help with anything. They always have a HUGE sales so chances are you can get a really great deal on anything you might be looking for. Overall I give Als two thumbs way up.

Great experience buying our camp chef smoker! Alec really helped us feel comfortable in the buying decision.

My returned season rental skis. At first the associate said, “cool, everything is good.” Then the associate noticed that we didn’t pay for the insurance and says, “oh wait, they didn’t buy insurance. Better check these again.” Upon rechecking, he came up with $130 of needed repairs... charging for the smallest nicks and dings. They even found problems with skis that had been used one time during the season. Total rip off. DO NOT rent skis at Als. There are way better places that won’t rip you off.

Absolutely horrible customer service! Ordered online for a pick up that was marked to be completed in 90 minutes. After 2 hours my order had not even been started. Speaking to the staff upfront nobody had a single clue what was going on or how to follow up with it. Employee shared I’m not sure we even have enough of those and might have to be ordered in; This statement was made without even looking on his computer or even going to get the item. Will never shop here again.

I’ve gone here with my boy friend a lot to get biking items. The customer service is sub par. We will literally be at the counter waiting to pay and they just walk by! They don’t even say anything either. The employees don’t really help and are just messing around. The employees also don’t really have that great of an attitude.

Helpful friendly service everytime I visit and that included today. An associate helped us locate some ski pants for my son, and the cashier wiped down some dumbbells that we were purchasing that had a little residual oil on them from the manufacturing process. Nice work!

Al’s is a great store, and both my wife and I can always find what we want and at great prices. I have even gone there a few times on date night. Gun and optic selection is good, great mountain bike selection, and they have stance socks.

The AL’s employee that helped me was Shaun. He met my every need and was very accommodating. If you ever find yourself in the Orem location, look for Shaun and he will hook you up!

Horrible experience! I had a $250 gift card and I used it to order some stuff online. I didn’t like what I got so I went to the Orem location to return them and they wouldn’t give me in-store credit. Instead, they said they would refund the gift card that was used. Here we are nearly 7 weeks later and nothing has been refunded. It was $150 or so that I lost. Please avoid buying any gift cards at this place unless you are 100% set on not returning anything. This was my first time here and will not be returning.

Some great Staff!The pistol issue is not the stores fault.I did not feel heard, and that is the issue.Purchased Walther pistol, did not work. Took back, because gun was chambering rounds automatically when clip was inserted. Dangerous!If safety is only flipped half way, gun defaults to fire.Counter guy said- sell it on the private market An unsafe gun! Wow.They cleaned gun, could not shoot until recently, still doesnt work.*** Some Employees seem to avoid interacting with me as I paid for my purchase.Too well run for attitude and sub-par products to take away from the experience. I have made two online orders in the past week that have been canceled due to no inventory. I understand that stock can be hard to maintain, but consecutive orders being canceled is frustrating.

Major IssuesI bought a brand new 2020 mountain bike online in July, and rode it for a few weeks before bringing it in for the free tune up they offered with the new bike. When I picked it up after the tune up, one of the hand brakes was leaking oil (which it had never done before), and when I tried to ride, it got worse. I took it back and they said they must have broken it and they would get it fixed. The part they broke during the tune up is under warranty, but out of stock. They have been unwilling to do anything but leave me waiting for FIVE MONTHS now for them to get the free part provided by the warranty from their supplier to replace the one they broke.UPDATE: Within 48 hours of uploading this review and sending them another email, the store manager contacted me to inform me that they had taken the part from another bike they had in stock, and that I could come pick my bike up along with a $50 gift card. It turned out that their system had sent my part to the wrong place, and every time I called in and they looked for it they just said it hadnt arrived yet and Id have to wait. Im not sure $50 makes up for breaking my bike and taking 5 months to fix it, but Im glad to have my bike back.

Love the guys that they have at their pro desk! Have bought multiple guns and equipment and most recently this bow. Very grateful foe the time they spend educating me and getting me started.

They usually have what I need and my experiences there are always good. This visit to Als was for 9mm ammo which has been in short supply for several months. They had just received a shipment that wasnt out on the shelves yet, but they brought out the 5 boxes that are allowed per customer per day since the shortage began and I went home a happy man.

Als is the best sporting goods store in the valley- hands down. Its not even close. If other local stores are out of something, I can almost always find it at Als, and at the same price or cheaper. Their customer service has always been top notch for me as well. I was just there, and Logan and Luke were both extremely helpful. There were some complications with an online order, but they were kind and helpful through the whole process. They werent accusatory or cynical like other stores can be with online orders, but talked to me like I was a human being, and gave me a good discount on what I was buying as well. Both of these guys went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They genuinely cared, and it showed, and it earned them a customer for life.

Staff is very knowledgeable; I wish the prices in the store matched prices online. I wish they would take phone orders for items priced lower in the store than online.

They had what I was looking for for a good price, and happy, friendly employees. I would give them 5 stars if the gun counter employees would EVER answer the phone. Before driving in I sat on hold for over a half hour! I never did speak to anyone in that department. My son tells me he has consistently had the same experience.

Als used to be a great store with great prices. Now their customer service is terrible. Their inventory tracking is even worse than their customer service. I have bought multiple items on line with in store pick-up, just to drive 40 miles to the store and find out they dont have the item I just bought. Even if I called ahead to make sure they actually have the item. I keep thinking they are going to get better, I dont think I am going to hold my breath.

Love Als they have everything you need! Except 9mm rounds. But nobody had those.

They say they will price match items, but that doesnt seem to be true. We found an item from Als own online store, and they wouldnt honor the price in the store, and said we have to purchase it online. Even one of their sales associates at the store told us we should get the internet price, but the manager wouldnt budge. Be careful trying to get items for the same price you see them online.

I would highly recommend Al’s sporting goods for those who are looking for good deals and quality service on hunting equipment. Logan from the archery department set me up with my new bow from Al’s and I couldn’t be more satisfied. He knows his bows, and especially how to help educate a beginner like myself.

Ive shopped at Als for a about a year now a. Have only had good experiences. Yesterday I went in there looking to buy my wife a nicer Patagonia jacket they I saw in there the week before. I went to the section where I saw it last and it was no longer there. I asked an employee and he searched endlessly for it until he found it and the right size. Then I got a great discount with my VIP pricing. This store and these workers are outstanding. I have also found that this store usually has cheaper prices online. And when they don’t they have price matched for me. Excellent store

We came in to look at climbing gear. We are newbies and needed guidance! Kendall was the sales guy who helped us and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable about both climbing gear and backpacking backpacks! He spent over an hour helping us to get what fit us best! All the employees are kind. Alex the girl who helped us check out was also very sweet! 100% recommend coming to this store!
