Steve and his team are great to work with. They always deliver on promised timelines. More than once, Ive gone to them after getting a quote from the dealership or another auto shop and been told that some of the work pushed by other places is not actually necessary, or that theres a much cheaper option I can easily do myself. One time when I got some routine maintenance done here, they noticed that my car was missing a hubcap and gave me a matching one they had on hand for free. I highly recommend them.

These guys were awesome. I needed an emissions done and they checked it right away even though they seemed relatively busy. In addition, my plates had a screw that wouldnt come out plus it was stripped. They were able to get it out and replaced it with new screws free of charge!! Great service - I was in and out in 10-15 min!!

Had several issues on a car I purchased and heard great things about Advanced Automotive. They fixed all of the issues and told me if what they did on the car did not work, I could bring it back to them. Honest mechanics are hard to come by but I trust these guys! I will go back!

Used to be a faithful customer. Got tired and frustrated with getting blown off with Im too busy. Over the period of a year literally every time I called for a repair I was told it would be at least 2 weeks out. Couldnt even get an estimate for a timing belt/water pump replacement. After multiple calls to them over literally a months time, and being told to give them 2 or 3 days and they will get back to me. They never did. Never heard back. They do good work but will go somewhere else that will value their customers. If AAS has that much business expand again. Open another location. If not careful they will lose the customer base they do have.

I was fed up with being burned by other mechanics. I was referred to Advanced Automotive Specialist by a co-worker and am so glad I found these guys. Even with the tremendous work backlog, Tony was able to schedule me in. I brought my minivan in for a maintenance repair and James kept me in the loop every step of the way and made sure to discuss all my options. With labor and parts the final price point was right where James said it would be at the beginning. Super clean shop and honest crew! I highly recommend Advance Automotive Specialist.

Came in to have something replaced, and he pointed out what caused the wear and asked (no pressure) if Id like that taken care of as well. Very impressed. He just gained another life-long customer. Like many others I have been going to James and his boys for at least 10 years. I am one of those guys that can fix stuff here and there, and I try to do what I can to save a buck and do it myself, so when I have messed something up or whatever and I take it in James and his crew always treat me fair and respectful. He always worries about my personal situation and tells me right up front this needs to be done now, this and this should be done as soon as you have the $, and maybe watch out for this so it doesnt get worse. or I did this and this, but if you can do this it will save you the guy has been great. I have recommended him to anyone I care about, Trust me there is a reason Advanced is so busy - there is NO better mechanic in the state, both morally and talented.

I had these guys replace a power steering hose on my Honda Odyssey. Originally they quoted me MORE than the Honda dealer. When I told them their price was high they brought it down to about $10 cheaper than the dealer. The only reason I go to independent shops is for a better price. They did good work, but I cant give 5 stars when their price is the same as the dealer.

James is hands down the most honest mechanic you will ever meet. I took my car in with a radiator leak. He diagnosed it and thought it looked like it had been in an accident (it had--3 years earlier). James looked in my glove box and found the receipt from the auto body shop, called the auto body shop and they determined that the problem should be covered by the auto body shops warranty. I mean who does that? Most mechanics would tell you the work needed to be done and charge you what they could! Ill definitely stick with James when I need car repairs!

There is a reason for it and its because James is an outstanding mechanic who is the only person I take my vehicles to.There have been times I have taken a vehicle in for a specific issue and while hes working on that problem hell discover other things that may cause issues down the road and suggests taking care of it. However, if its not something that needs to be fixed right away hell be up front about it and will only suggest taking care of it before it becomes a bigger problem down the road thus costing more money and problems.Do not take your car anywhere else. Hes honest and friendly and very respectful.

They said they are booked up to do a diagnosis, but if they take the wheels off and see it just needs breaks then they can fix it today! We took it in, they noticed some extra things needed a replacement, and helped us save on extra charges since they were already in there. All fixed within 2 hours, amazing, thank you so much! I needed a place to bring in my car and didnt want to mess around, so I trusted the Google reviews and came to this place. Im so glad I did! Id never brought my car into a shop before, and I felt very comfortable and taken care of here. My car was making funny noises and having electrical issues, so I made an appointment. They were so busy that it took a couple days for me to get in. I brought my car in the day of the appointment and they promised to have it done by the end of the day. Even though the problems were worse than expected, they took the extra time after they normally close to explain what they found and give us options. We asked them to go ahead and fix everything for us, and they did right then! Our car now runs like new and we have no complaints. The prices seemed very reasonable and I will definitely be coming here again.

I had some issues with my honda element (toaster). Got a replacement for a wheel baring and hub. They were super prompt with their service and they gave me the breakdown on what the problems were and gave me their suggestions. Theyre not pushy with any attempts for up sells. They gave me super accurate quotes. Im not stoked spending $ on my car but these guys do a great job of helping the medicine go down. I dont do reviews but wanted to give these guys a shout out. If I have any more issues with my super old toaster, wouldnt hesitate to bring it back. Fingers crossed.

Ive known James for several years but living in LV never had the chance to use his services. Recently my wife and I have moved to West Jordan and we took one of our four vehicles into him for the smog and safety check. I asked him to check the vehicle for other work it needed, its a 96 F-150 that my wife and I enjoy driving, so it stays in the family even though it is so old. He was surprised that we were able to drive it loaded and towing a trailer from LV without it falling apart.That is, I guess, a statement of how well I dont take of my cars. I am here to tell you that I am so glad to have a great gentleman and professional to work on all 4 of our cars if he will have them.
