Tow truck driver drove through my yard and crushed my sewer pipe, and rutted up my whole front yard while I wasn’t home. He was there to tow my neighbor and decided my driveway was easier for him to use. This happened on April 2nd. Police where called and all this is reported. When I called the company to report him and get damages taking care of I was completely ignored and told it’s not there problem. Tow Truck driver screamed at me when I got home and confronted him. Horrible company!

The driver they sent was extremely rude, unprofessional and made my mother cry!!!! When I told him I was going to report him he replied who are you gonna report me to, the tow truck police? No sir but I did call his company and tell them every single rude, u professional and childish thing this man said!

If there was a way to give less than one star, I would. This is the most unprofessional towing company I have ever dealt with. My husband drives a brand new 2020 vehicle. The tow truck driver hooked up to our brand new car. While loading our vehicle up, he hit the vehicle that was parked behind ours. He then says to my husband “I think next time you need to go in there and tell them service people that they parked too close to your car.” First of all, isn’t that his job to ensure he can safely and correctly tow my vehicle? It should not be my husbands responsibility to ensure that the tow driver can tow a vehicle! To make matters worse, the driver, I believe his name was Lance, lied to his boss and said that the damage was already done to the vehicle. He lied and said the service department told him that the vehicle was damaged beforehand. I confirmed that was a lie because I personally went in and talked to all the service men and women. I spoke personally with the man who talked to the tow truck driver. He did not say anything about the car already being damaged. The tow driver did not call the cops and report that he hit someone’s vehicle! I had to call the cops, but I didn’t do so until I got home because I was so shaken up at the idea that this man, that smelt like alcohol, hit my brand new car and called my husband a liar! Not only did he lie about hitting our car, he also told me “I don’t have time for your shit” as I was explaining to him that I needed to take pictures of my husbands car and report this to his company. I then call, who I assume is his boss, and explain what happened to him. The “boss” tells me that his driver said our vehicle was damaged before he picked it up and that I need to handle that. I told him that was a lie and so no true. I will be contacting my lawyer and my insurance company. I will do my best to push this issue. I do not like being called a liar or being cussed at by a grown man. Just because I am young, does not mean I am stupid. For clarity, the reason my vehicle was being towed in the first place is because it had mechanical issue with the steering wheel. My car would not steer to the left or the right. This will be covered by our warranty. However, the damage done to the bumper of our vehicle by this company, will not be covered. This company is extremely unprofessional and I hope this review helps anyone who thinks about using them. I would not use them to tow anything. I wouldn’t even trust them towing a golf cart. I hope karma comes around fast.

I would just like to thank the driver for making our experience a good one.Our son truck broke down in Texas we lived in Baton Rouge and they gave us the best price and great service. Hopefully we never have to do this again but if we did you guys would be our choice. Thank you and may God bless you

Left car in used dealership parking lot with keys in it at maintenance when it was clearly wrecked.Right next to the body shop that it was supposed to go to. Did not check my car in and turn keys into body shop. Its all in same lot but there is clear signs where tow truck check in at

Im a manager at a repair facility in Columbus Ohio, Our first run in with American Wrecker Was back on August the 12th of 2019. After having a customer decline repairs on their vehicle. The customer opted to use their roadside service policy. American Wrecker took the job. Our lot at our shop is very tight, however we have tows come and go every day without incident. It seemed clear pretty quickly of the drivers inexperience with maneuverability. The staff at the shop offered to move other vehicles out of the way(to avoid damage, and to make the task easier) the driver obviously flustered did not verbally respond and continued with maneuvers that put his truck and the vehicle he was towing close to damaging other vehicles on our lot. as the driver continued to struggle we turned on video recording to assure that if a vehicle was damaged we would have documentation. after the driver got the vehicle past all major obstacles he proceeded to engage in verbal hostility towards the shop staff, and the called the local police department and informed them that we were preventing him from doing his job. the police did respond and told him, it seemed his business was concluded on our lot and he should leave. the same driver has since been dispatched twice to our repair facility, each time presenting a less then professional attitude creating a scene in front of our customers. Each run in with this driver our staff has been professional, offering assistance to make this drivers job easier. instead our staff is met with resentment and rudeness. I hope that this is not a reflection of the entire organization and is limited to the actions of one driver.

Locked my keys in the car. They came quickly, and the process was all very easy! Really great experience with the company and service together! Driver was super friendly as well!

I am a Realtor and was showing a home in Orange. It was dark when leaving the home and there were no lights on the street. I backed into the ditch and could not get my car out. I called Roadside assistance through insurance and they sent American Wrecker Service. Shane P. Was very professional and took his time pulling my car out so that no damage was done. He said he would treat my car as his own and that is exactly what he did. I asked for his card and if I need anything requiring a wrecker service in the future I will definitely give him a call.

My car broke down on Hwy 87 with my niece and daughter alone with no cell service. I was encountered by 3 creepy guys trying to redeem aide. My sister finally arrived for me to contact wrecked services. Every single one was overdosed, rude, insensitive, and provided no customer service. But. I contacted American wrecker, at this point Im stressed and at the end of my rope. Customer service 100%. Shane came and was a polite, complete and total gentleman! Dropped my car to the shop and made sure we were OK and home safe . I only had my debit card and he didnt hound me but took me to get cash. He listened to me and made me feel safe in his company. Shane you were our SUPERMAN!! I RECOMMEND AMERICAN AUTO TO EVERYONE!!

They were amazing! I sat for almost 3 hours waiting on a company out of Houston through my roadside assistance with my insurance and after calling to complain, they set me up with American Wrecker and they were there within 25 minutes! The guy was friendly and professional! I would absolutely recommend them for anything!

Driving from FL to Houston down I-10. Just east of Beaumont experiences a rapid flat tire at highway speed. Managed to get off highway to paved shoulder. It was back driver side door so to change it meant working just feet from high speed traffic including a lot of semis. I decided it was unsafe and after checking decided to pull further off road into grass ditch area. It was soft but I have 4 wheel drive. Unfortunately, my scissor jack could not lift the truck in the soft soil. Called USAA and the contacted America Wrecker to come help me. Shane departed promptly, called /texted repeatedly to confirm location (middle of nowhere) and keep me statuses on ETA. I was able to let him k ow we would need a board to support jack. He arrived as promised and was professional, nice, helpful, and just a really great guy. He crawled up under truck, got jack places on board he stopped to get, and quickly got tire replaced. He then put the flat one back in storage area under truck (dirty job). He made sure I got back up onto highway and then followed me to next exit to make sure my spare was good and had proper air pressure (it was low). We got it aired back up and I made it home safely. Shane was amazing. I highly recommend American Wrecker - especially because of Shane. Everyone should provide service like Shane.

Had a blowout on I-10 this morning, waited for 3 hours for the wrecker from my roadside assistance group and after multiple lies from the company I called American Wrecker, who was on site within 30 minutes and got me back on the road within 10 minutes... the driver was very polite and professional.

So its 11pm on New Years eve 2018 and my engine starts going out right before the state line to Louisiana. The shoulder is also ending on the freeway and were on a hill with speedy drivers! American wrecker tow driver, Shane, got to my car super quick! He was so nice and towed my car back to my house in Beaumont for a great price! He saved me over $200(competitors crazy prices). He even took time to talk with me for a few minutes to make sure I was OK. The best way I can make anyone understand how great their customer service is is by saying theyre customer service, is even BETTER than Chick a Fila! 😍 I highly recommend this tow truck company!

Got caught up in Imelda and the guys at American Wrecker were superb. They are the best tow company I have ever dealt with and Im a road warrior . I called roadside assistance for a tow and American Wrecker took the job. After 1.5 hrs and getting a phone that was disconnected I talked to someone from the Texas office. I was given a number to contact the office that was supposed to help me. They said they were having issues and would be on their way shortly. I waited another 1.5 hours making my wait 3 hours now and I contacted the office again and they said they could not come tow my vehicle. All this time waiting and not one courtesy call. They got 1 star because I had to give something to leave my review

My car broke down today in the heat of the day and i got to say that American Wrecker LLP is the only place that seemed to care that i was stranded. He came right out and worked with me on what i could afford and the 3mile tow was more than half the price from the other wrecker services.. He seemed to really care about his customers needs and getting my vehicle home safely without me breaking brank.. Definely the only wrecker service company ill ever call when im in need and i highly recommend everyone does the same..

Driving cross country from New York, my boyfriend and I got two flat tires on the I-10 going west (nasty pot holes)We called American Wrecker LLC. And Shane got to us as soon as he could. We did wait a while because there was bumper to bumper traffic but that’s not anyone’s fault.What we appreciated is that he was in contact with us constantly and kept us updated on his arrival time. Via text and phone call.On the ride to drop our car off to get it fixed, shane recommended loads of places to eat and what hotel to stay at for the night. He was very kind and helpful.He even dropped us off at our hotel once our car was safe and sound at the repair shop. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality!Thank you Shane for the tow!P.S.We Tried Whataburger and it was awesome.
