Run, do not walk, to Mellie if you are thinking of getting your brows done. The only regret you will have is that you will wish you had done it sooner! Mellie was amazing. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, Mellie is a true artist who takes pride in her work and developing her talent. I went to her with old microblading work that needed to be covered up. Honestly I was hoping for a 30% improvement - well - I got a 130% improvement !! My brows look INCREDIBLE thanks to Mellie. She is intricate and patient. After my brows were done I could not stop staring at them and showing them off. I love my eyebrows, and I just feel so confident in my skin especially knowing we wear a mask every day. The focal points are your eyes and your eyebrows, and I did show a picture of before, and after and I get so many compliments that people dont realize that they are not even natural eyebrows. She did an excellent job from the minute I walked in, explained everything 100%, made sure I was comfortable, explained the process, and talked about my muscle tone and the need for perfection; she can only do so much with muscle tone. She cant control muscle tone, which I understand entirely. I went for my second follow up which is entirely free, and she did a beautiful job. I was very nervous at first, but she is quick and talks you through the process. I did my research and read the reviews, and we all have our opinions of the service we deserve. I will be back for another touch-up before my wedding.

All I can say is Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! She is the most attentive and courteous to every client. She greets you with such enthusiasm and is always smiling - She adds a feel of genuine authenticity to a service based studio.I had my lashes done as Ive been doing with her for a few months now. For some reason when I was putting a pie in the oven, the tips of the lashes melted. When I returned to M Beauty for a gel fill, I informed the male there (Mellies Husband) and he said quite condescendingly Well its like your natural hair. You put it to heat it will burn - Hmm, I cant say Ive ever burned the hair on my head or that of my natural lashes by putting food in the oven nevertheless Ruby was spectacular.

I decided to try eyelash extensions for the first time. Ruby was my technician and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. My lashes look long and full but still natural enough that they don’t scream fake. Ruby is very good at what she does and I would definitely recommend M Lash to others. If you are on the fence, definitely give M Beauty studio a try!

While the quality of their services is good, I keep hearing about how their prices go up and up over the past 2 years. I think the positive reviews are getting to the owners head. 1.5 years ago a microblading session with Mellie was $450. Now she is charging $600. Sure it’s an open market and people can charge what they want, but I find that to be quite greedy and unacceptable as the quality has not improved.

Ruby did an amazing job with my 3D volume cat eyelashes. I have incredibly fine short Asian lashes that can be very difficult to work with, but she managed to glue each individual lash without clumping and without causing any stinging at the end. Mellie always does a wonderful job, I wouldnt trust my brows with anyone else. They look amazing and I go in for a touch up once every 9 months. Its a small price to pay for great brows. Its easy to schedule an appointment. Ive recommended many friends to her who now has amazing brows as well and Ive gotten so many compliments.

My lashes look great but the very next day Im already having lashes falling out. I dont know if it would be worth it coming in for refills but well see how the weeks go.Ive never had lash extensions before and wanted to see how they would look on me . Eyelash extensions are everything when done right. I Unfortunately am not blessed with great lashes and brows, but luckily there is M Beauty Studio to make life a little bit better ( Ok, a lot* better )The facility is clean, everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Ruby. She made sure before starting I was completely comfortable and the eye pads were not bothering me eyes at all. She was so gentle I actually started to fall asleep, and my eyes didn’t water at all. Once the lashes were completed I even got a quick massage to relax the facial muscles. I am so happy with my eyelash extensions the look amazing. See you soon Ruby! :)

This is absolutely the best place in Connecticut when you are looking to microblade your eyebrows. Ive been here twice now, and Mellie always does an absolute perfect job. Ive been doing research for months and months and Mellies work seem to be my favorite. I elected to go with the Ombre Powder brows because after reading up all the information it seem to best suit me because I have oily skin.
