Toes came out awesome and massage was great. I took away 1 star for having to wait a half hour after my appointment time, and also because I was charged for a manicure on my 10 year old daughter but they only clipped, filed and painted her nails. No cuticle care, lotion, warm towel or hand massage, it took less than 10 minutes start to finish. Should have been charged for a polish change. I paid it without argument but know that if you are bringing a young person for a spa day you may need to specify you want all of the services youre paying for.
Definitely won’t be back. The lady who did my pedicure really hurt my toe and it’s been two days and it’s still hurting. Someone who was with me paid $50 for a pedicure and her heels were not smooth after the pedicure was finished. We told the manager that her heels weren’t smooth and needed to be exfoliated and all she did was give us lotion. The set up of the salon is just very odd and staff is not friendly. I recommend Tiara nails down the street.
I had a Mani and pedi today UGGThe woman that did my nails seem like she was half asleep, they didn’t come out good at all. When I asked her to clean up the polish on my toes not on the nails, she handed me the cotton pad dipped in remover and tool to do it myself. Paid and left 🙁I know I won’t be back
Had a mani and pedi on two seperate days in one week. Both of the women were unfriendly and were very rough performing the services. I will admit I am not someone who likes sitting for long, however, both services were finished in 10 minutes. The results were not great, cuticles still present on toes with polish layered over them and fingernail surfaces were bumpy. Not going back...
This place is very odd. I asked for a gel mani & pedi & the pedicure started off with her panting my nails then proceeded to ask what type of pedi. No soak off. No cuticle cutting prior. Very odd to me. Way too expensive as well. I will continue to go to natura down the road.
I have been going to iSpa for about 10 years and I love it! Ive always gotten manicures and pedicures and have never been disappointed. I recently started getting eye lash extensions the last two years, they look beautiful every time and they have the best prices! Everyone from management to technicians are absolutely amazing
So I paid 75 dollars for a powder manicure set and 3 nails fell off in less than 2 days! The worst manicure I have ever gotten in my life! I have been getting manicures for more than 17 years I never had this issue! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I wish I can share photos of how embarrassing my hands look and it was for my wedding! Super disappointed, I have to now find another place to get my nails done for my wedding day! Terrible!!!!!!!
The only spa I will go to. Gary is always on point with a perfect gel french manicure. Friendly and kind staff!
Very organized and staff was very friendly
I Spa has been my place to go for many years. They are friendly, clean, and safe.
I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews on this place so I was hesitant to go — but I LOVED my experience there!! Will definitely be going back. I didn’t make an appointment and was able to do a walk in right away (not sure if the no wait was related to it being less busy with Covid but), and I was given prices for things up front when I asked about different services.Clean and Covid precautions are being taken, relaxing and professional manicure. I got the gel French manicure and it came out so well, looked amazing!!! A week and a half later so far and it’s still looking almost new. Will absolutely be going back and recommending to any friends looking for a place to go!
I’ve been going to I Spa for about 3 years now. My nails look amazing every single time and the customer service is wonderful. Amanda does an amazing job running the salon. Oxy does such a good job on my nails. The entire staff is great. I’ll never go anywhere else.
Went for a pedicure. I paid 60$ For getting my feet washed pretty much. In a pedicure they are supposed to scrub the dead skin off your feet. If that’s what you are expecting for I recommend not coming to this place. When I asked why they wouldn’t even remove the dead skin or exfoliate. They were trying to charge me 10 dollars more for putting a “callus removal cream”. A cream!Money wasted!
Went for the first time today for pedicure. The tech did a super quick job and it shows. Nails not filed well, not polished professionally, at the corners you can see my natural nails & cuticles not pushed back correctly. I will not be returning. Excellent massage though.
Got my nails done with powder French manicure and came back only 2 days later for a repair . They used a completely different shade of pink and the shape was all messed up . I told them it wasn’t the right shade and they told me the other ones faded and it would be the same which just isn’t true . Then after that they barely spoke to me or acknowledged me . Had to tell myself when I could leave 🤷🏻♀️ Thought I found a good spot but they don’t really care . I really am not happy since I tip heavily and and very grateful for every other manicure I’ve received .
With a new owner this place has really gone downhill! In only six months the new lady has managed to push multiple long term clients away. The poor workers are pulled in different directions all day,They are all pretty good but the owner does not know how to run a business and it shows.I have tried to give multiple chances because Ive been going to the same salon for about 6 years now, It is not worth the aggravation and poor service at this point. Dont waste your money.A few examples of why I am no longer recommending:1. Doesnt answer calls - You have to call multiples times before someone answers. Ive called 6 times over the past week, No answer.2. When you do get through and make an appointment, she doesnt place you with the person you made the appointment with OR saysNO, WERE TOO BUSY. One day, I called for Cindy and confirmed a time. Showed up said I have a 5pm with Cindy owner says OK and places me with a different girl. Cindy came up to me and asked if I had an appointment, Owner then proceeds to yell at Cindy and says I have to stay with the new girl.3. Final straw: Getting a pedicure, Owner is yelling at the girl to hurry up. Girl then starts to skip steps in the pedicure because the owner is yelling. I walked out. Not paying to service Im not receiving.
They changed owners. Any review from over 8 months ago is likely from the old owners and staff. Many of the old staff have left. The customer service starting with when you walk in has dropped off. Its too bad. They once were the best place for miles.
Such a great experience. Everyone there is very nice and treat you with care. Great manicures and massages. Ive tried so many different places and Im so happy to find one I can finally stick with!
When my girlfriend arrived at I-spa they offered to take her coat for her. Upon her leaving the coat was missing, determined to be stolen. She was told the security system didn’t work, I was told some of the cameras did work and then the police were told they didn’t work. After a few days and not hearing from I-spa we called them up to ask if the coat had been turned in or if the security technician I was told about had found and footage of the coat being taken. They were very rude, said it wasn’t their problem and that we should call the police. We explained we had filed a police report and the police had in fact been to I-spa that night. We then asked if they had theft insurance and if we could speak to the owner of I-spa. After being told a mix of “she isn’t available” and “she isn’t here”, we were then hung up on.We called them back and before being hung up on again, they threatened to call the police on us!This place is sketchy at best, why wouldn’t they let us speak to the owner? And why won’t they try to help someone who has been a patron for years?! This is a disgusting display of bad service and complete disregard for the personal belongings that they took control of.After 10 minutes they called us back and asked why we were calling. This is how most of the conversations began with i spa “why are you calling”. We asked to speak to the owner, who we were told doesn’t speak English but would be translated for, we again asked, do you have theft Insurance, there was no translation and we were immediately told “no”.Then after asking about insurance and liability, we were once again told “don’t call us again, we’ll call the police” (remember this time they had called us).If you care about your personal belongings and want a spa that actually cares about it’s customer’s don’t go here, they just don’t seem to care.
A good salon for manis and pedis, they tend to be busy often, its best to call for an appointment even for the same day. The ladies tend to rotate in new people often, its ok to clarify if you are particular to something. Be careful with regular manicures...if you want your nails trimmed make sure you tell them the length as they tend to cut super short. Clean tools are taken from the machine for each service, they are generally very nice ladies.
Ispa is like a breath of fresh air. Customer service is what they are all about. The place is always clean, the employees always friendly and the owners make certain that everyone who walks through their doors is treated like a VIP. They employ highly professional and experienced staff and offer a wide range of services.I have been going there for 5 years and have never been disappointed.
Super relaxing. Though it can be hard to understand what some of the people are saying but I dont mind because it feels awsome and everything felt good. Great price. My nails looked awsome. Realy good shape.
I have tried many many places in New Haven county and iSpa in Orange by far stands out from the others. They have a ton of staff, and no matter who you see you will receive an excellent, relaxing experience. They have a variety of pedicure packages, but even if you get a $25 standard pedicure, you can expect the preferential treatment. Hot rocks, hot towels, bottom leg and full foot massage. They are immaculate. While you dry one of their team members will offer an out of this world back and shoulder rub with just the price of a tip. I switched to ispa about two years ago and havent looked back since. They also offer services that I havent tried like eyelash extensions, extended massages, and waxing. You can sign up for a points card and earn points towards future services. Monday through Wednesday they offer specials. You will not be disappointed!
Would never go anywhere else! Top of the line. My nails always look great and staff is always professional, friendly, and eager to please.
Very clean, and all the nail techs are super precise and do a great job.
I’ve been going here for years but now this salon is very busy gaining new clients. The owner used to be so kind, he is rude and unpersonable. Since the salon is getting busier I feel like they rushed when hiring new workers. The new nail technicians aren’t as good as the original workers. The gel manicure lasts forever which is great but whenever I get a manicure or pedicure it’s always rushed. The normal polish pedicure lasts a long time too never chips. I’ve tried switching places but ispa has the best painting and long lasting.
We came in an hour before they closed and asked for 4 manicures, they seems annoyed, maybe because it was close to closing time but that wasn’t until 6. They rushed through my manicure and skipped the hand scrub and massage which should have been included. It’s included in other places I go to! Anyways I wouldn’t recommend or go back to this place. I think they are sexists toward men.
Was good. But Ive had better
Love this place! Great service, nice and clean place, and nails look great.
Went for a pedicure worst pedicure ever, in less than 8 min they were done with me totally the worst ever .
Struggled between 2 and 3 stars and gave 3 just because the pedicure always seems to last well and doesnt chip. never had a problem with a walk in, but the appointment itself doesnt last very long either. service is for the most part superficial and not very personable, several employees always gossip between each other while doing clients nails. the salon is usually my first choice because of geolocation but I wouldnt make a special trip.
Great place with organic products and a small selection of cruelty-free polishes.
Absolutely best nail etc spot in this area.
The nail technicians are awesome but the manager/owner is very rude.
Very clean and super efficient
Go to spot to relax and get beautified!
Too expensive
Clean, friendly
