I can’t say enough good things about the Window and Door Store in Omaha. Mike, Irv, and Jim were great to work with. We had multiple issues with some leaking doors that were installed on our new home that was not the fault of the Window and Door Store. They went above and beyond to get us new doors and stood behind their products 100%. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you for all the help and working with us guys. You have gained a lifelong customer.
Randy has worked really hard to make sure I am happy with my new windows. I appreciate his professionalism and patience. I will definitely be using them to replace other windows and would recommend to others as well.
Mike of the parts department is amazingly responsive, kind and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure customers are happy. Hes proactive in looking up warranty information and ensuring you are taking care of. I even offered to do some work on my own if he could get me a part. He wouldnt have it and instead ordered a whole new piece and set up a professional repair at no charge without batting an eye. Erv (sp) the technician was also amazing. Super quick, thorough and personable. A wonderful group of folks to work with. They provide me great confidence as a home owner.
We are in the process of a 2nd order through The Window and Door Store, which should tell you how highly we value the experience of working with them. Wes Rowe has been our contact throughout the process of both orders, and working with him has been fantastic. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about the products, calm, patient with our questions and changes, responsive and professional, and is the least pushy salesperson BY FAR that we met with in the process of finding windows. The windows that were installed on our 1930s home look like they could have come with the house. We could immediately tell a difference in the draftiness, and there are definitely fewer insects in the house, which makes me happy. I highly recommend both the products and the people.
Over the process of 5 or 6 years we slowly replaced all of the windows in our home with Marvin windows and doors. The product is fantastic and beautiful. Our most recent sales experience was with Wes and he was knowledgeable, courteous and responsive. He even measured our windows a 2nd time before ordering (so smart, too). The installation went smooth and the contractor hired to do our particular job was clean and respected our property. There was one unforeseen issue discovered during the install but the contractor explained everything so we were confident that all would be completed to our satisfaction and it was!
My wife went into the Omaha location to get an idea on price for a sliding patio door installed. The gentleman that helped her verbally quoted her a price so she scheduled a measurement. When the gentleman came out to measure I asked him about what my wife was verbally quoted. He confirmed the price that my wife was quoted. A couple of days later I received my written quote that was $600-$800 more than was verbally quoted. When I talked to the gentleman about the quote his response was sometimes I can get my self into trouble talking to people about prices and then goes on to say I don’t know what to tell you I just put the numbers in the computer and it tells me the price. You should stand by what you tell your customers!
Sid awesome 1 trip for 3 glass sliding door last year. Now bedroom 2 windows
Very helpful salesman and friendly staff! Reasonable prices for good windows.
3 months into a window repair, not repaired. Got a call back from Mike last week, very apologetic about service to date. Set up repair time for parts paid for back in September - 12.07 at 3:30, no show.
Over the past couple years we have replaced all the windows in our home Jim Cole and his staff have been friendly, professional and very competitive in each case. I highly recommend them.
The warranty on Marvin windows is only 10 years. If they have quality window, it should last longer then 10 years.
The best place on earth
Awesome windows
My patio door which I bought from this company was not sliding open or shut very smoothly; it was sticking all the time. The company said that a service call would be $150 (if I remember correctly) and parts if needed, would be extra. Since it is our back door, I agreed thinking that the door would be fixed. Service person took the door out, said the wheels were rusted but the screws were rusted also and they couldnt get them out with a screw driver, sprayed lubricant on the wheels, put the door back in, and left. A week later we had the same problem. So we (a 70+ couple) took the very heavy door out, drilled out the screws, tried to find replacement wheels at our local box stores, failed, put new screws in the wheels, and put the door back in. Ordered the parts from this company and when they finally came, took the door back out and replaced the wheels. So we paid a bunch of money to learn how to take the very heavy door out!
