We have had a roof with a unique flat water collecting valley that has leaked in one way or another in the 31 years we’ve owned our home. We tired of roof repairs without longevity in that area. We saw several tv commercials for Hanson’s, and thought, what the heck? They offered us three levels of traditional roofing, and did say they have done steel, but after learning that while they cure leak problems, insurance companies don’t replace dimpled roofs from hailstorms as you would imagine. They call that cosmetic. We settled on a new type of shake style shingle that yes, was more expensive than a traditional asphalt roof, but NOTHING has cured that valley leak area. Their top of the line roof comes with a lifetime guarantee against any leaks ever. Our insurance is going to give us a discount for installing this type of roof. The crew, a three man team, tore off completely, sheeted one slope that still had cedars underneath, completely cleaned up and were finished in three days. Even with some rain showers two days. No leaks!!! Thank you! thank you! Great experience!

I had Wyatt from 1-800-Hansons out mid-June. He was very professional and knowledgable in his explanation of the process. He explained it from start to finish, showing me pictures along the way, so I would know exactly what to expect with the windows as well as the installation. I cannot say enough good things about the sales experience. The installation was just recently completed the beginning of this August and the crew was top notch. Joquine and his crew were timely and very personable. They cleaned up after themselves well and you can see in their work that they are extremely meticulous and very detailed. When it comes time to do siding on my house I will definitely be using Hansons!

Not only was the Project Manager condescending over the phone, she was also technically incompetent and never had someone call me to discuss scope of work details. The crew was too small to get the job done in 1 day, so logistically this was difficult to look at quality with my work schedule. Im really looking forward to putting all the blinds back on and figuring out how to seal their work to my siding. Lead crew member was too busy trying to flirt with me instead of do a final walkthru for quality. Kitchen window has interference with the faucet now. What a treat. Not worth the 16k Im paying.

Wyatt did an amazing job with explaining the various product options and warranty. He was very professional and he answered all my questions and concerns. He gave me an on the spot estimate. I liked the product for quality and price, the warranty/guarantee is fantastic. We weighed all our siding options and bids from several companies. Even though we decided to go with another company, I will definitely keep HANSONS in mind for any future home improvement project.

I reached out to Hanson’s to get a quote for my roof, planning to do it myself with my boys, but decided to check out options. I appreciated how quickly Lincoln responded, his knowledge of roofing, and especially enjoyed our conversations. I was impressed with the “Lifetime Guarantee” they offer, and decided to give them the job. Outlandish pricing, even though I was previous customer for total siding job a year ago. Also discovered that siding job they did for $13,000+ could have been done with SAME materials, etc. for between 8,500 and 9,000. The 13,000 to Hansons didnt even include vaseline so that when they bent me over the table it wouldnt hurt so bad.

We have been waiting for almost a year for a replacement window. They have been out twice to measure and we almost had it installed and it was broken on the way to my house. They told me two weeks to get another window that was two months ago. Always say they will call you back and never do. If want anything for Your house go with someone else!

We had Brian out today and he gave us an estimate for our roof and explained everything very well and we got instantly approved. I have had kiddy pools in my attic to keep the leaks at bay so this is a huge stress relief. Brian was very polite and very helpful an d showed us everything needed and all about the roofing materials and walked us through all that will take place during installation.

So we already posted, about our sales experience… We recently had our siding installed. I can wholeheartedly say this was by far the best experience that we’ve ever had with someone coming to either repair or replace something in our home. The siding crew consisted of Augustine, Augustine and Josè. Talk about a bunch of professionals...always showed up early, stayed until late in the evening, everything that was promised and then some was delivered. Incredibly polite and well mannered professionals and really are experts at their job...we could not be happier with our siding… We really did our research, and the products that Hansons sells absolutely cannot be beat, they are the highest quality on the market, you absolutely get what you pay for! Hopefully you get these guys on your siding crew if you do consider yourselves lucky! We are so happy with the results they surpassed everything we were hoping for.

This is my second post. It is a good company and my roof is great. The only thing I think is bad is that when I signed the contract it was for a set price and they told me I may need 2 or 3 boards extra for my roof. Ok thats not to bad but then afterwards when the contract was signed it cost me another $3,000.00. Please dont let this happen to you. Good company but that part was a scam. They had me and they knew it.

We had Hansons install siding on our house. Jose, team leader, was very informative during the project. He daily updated us on the progress . He went above and beyond installing new sign and lights we purchased. Carl work directly with us during the full process daily. We worked directly with our team leader, and managers to ensure the best produce was installed, and we were happy with it. A next door neighbor walked over and said WOW!. A gem in the neighborhood. Thank you so much. I recommend using their service. Just get the phone numbers of your installer, manager, and sales rep up front. Know who to call makes all the difference. In closing, I would like also mention Gary, a service manager, he quickly responses to any issues customers have with the installed produce.

The sales people gave us so much confidence in the start of our siding project. Our one request in the meeting was to not cover up our dryer vent. We almost purchased a house where the dryer vent was covered and it created a lot of other problems, so we backed out. They assured us with confidence that they are the team for the job. We originally were supposed to get our siding in April but they moved it up to mid February short notice. They kept saying it would be done by Saturday. They ended up working on it thru Monday, which was fine but zero communication. Well Monday they are in a rush to get it done and covered up our dryer vent and one of the employees took it home. It felt incredibly intentional. I called numerous times and no response. Finally Angela calls me to collect a payment, which is said you can have upon completion. She literally laughed at the problems I told her. Had me text her, didn’t respond. So I followed up and she said she’d follow up that night and the next day and she never did. I tried to call so many times, eventually she didn’t even have a ring or voicemail, suspicious. Finn ally Lee came out (the only person who was also upset) he realized they did cover up the dryer vent and got a fix on it finally, he also had them remove the material they left. I understand mistakes happen but maybe try and make it right and use some form of communication. Siding is not cheap at all and for the amount of money we gave Hanson’s I expected to be treated much bette. Our siding looks great and had they of handlers it right away and taken responsibility I’d be happy. Now I can never in good faith recommend this company for any project!

Initial contact was good, after the work was done and not done well, especially on the gutters, getting anyone to come back has been a two month ordeal and still having trouble getting it taken care of. Installed way too low, leaking, not draining, scratched up, screws in the middle of the gutter to the facia.Update 4-27-2020Still sagging and leaking, have been back twice and now they say the roofers (also Hansons) used the wrong edge and they would be back to fix it again. Thats been a month or two now as well and still no contact. Also one of the great reviews is from a guy who works there and has blown me off several times. This company in Omaha anyway, is absolutely garbage, do not use.

We had siding installed during the winter of 2019. We started contacting the company about needed repairs in May of 2020. A man came out in July or August to document the damage. We got a phone call saying a crew would be out to take care of the repairs the next week. That is the last contact we have had. It is now October, 2020.

I was very impressed with their work. They took care to put up plastic so I would not have much fall into my living room and they also cleaned up well too. They answered all my questions and told me everything I needed to know. It was a pleasure to have them here today. I would definitely recommend them to others. They didnt goof off, got the work done and cleaned up after themselves.

We bought the Life Time 3M roof. The roof is great, I feel like my house is warmer. The crew or weather were not wonderful. Now that some thawing is happening, I am finding nails in my parking area. Not having the proper ladders bent my gutters but they are repairing them soon. They are standing behind there word. The ladies in the office and the site manager were friendly and helpful. Would I do Business with them again, Yes I would.Jan. 2020 - They didnt stand behind their word. They didnt fix the bent gutters. They gave me the run around. I am sure if something happens with this life time warranty they will do the same. Buyer Beware.

Everything seemed good in the beginning. Scheduling took forever and got pushed back a few times which was a tad frustrating but we were understanding. Fast forward to 8 months later when we need service to come back out because the installers screwed up and put siding over our door jam (which we found out is wrong) nor did a spout get installed above the front door. Customer service said we are supposed to install our front door before new siding. What kind of professionalism is that!? Now they are saying WE have to pay out of pocket for them to fix the siding on the jam that THEY installed wrong in the first place. We were planning more projects with Hanson’s but not anymore. I do NOT recommend this company.

We just had all our 1940s windows replaced and it was an easy experience. Our sales rep Scott was very helpful, patient and understanding. We were kept updated on the orders status and the installers couldnt have been better. They were professional, friendly and cleaned up after the job was finished. The windows look great and now we have no air whistling through the house. We look forward to years of energy savings on our propane.

Hanson windows are great and the installers are even better! Had a couple of minor items that needed taken care of and they were right on it to fix them. I am so happy we decided to say yes to replacing part of our windows.7/2/19, I have changed my review of Hansons merely because we are needing some service work done on our windows that were installed the beginning of May and as of yet the parts and supplies have not come in. Also, we were told to sign that we approved the installation to which after the fact is when we found this issues and my husband is not happy at all.

Sales Rep Bolor D came well prepared and knew her stuff! She gave us lots of options and helped us choose what was best. The tiles selected where of the highest quality and where 1 of the only 2 non cedar shingles our homeowners association would approve. She also helped us deal with our homeowners association for approvals. We feel very safe with the lifetime warranty on materials. Overall, Hansons as a company has been all over us with status and follow ups. It is clear they cre about your satisfaction. The roof replacement was bone very quickly and professionally. The team showed up and worked non stop from when they arrived to the very end of the day. I could not be more pleased with the result and workmanship I observed watching the roof being installed.

This was a great experience! Im not sure what the bad reviews are all about because that wasnt my case at all. I wouldnt have given this company single star rating but I had to give it at least one for the review to post. I would not recommend this company to anyone! They sell you on winter installation but then reschedule you time & time again because of the .....wait for it..............WEATHER. When I complained about the rescheduling they offered me a $250 credit which I NEVER GOT. Good luck getting anyone in this company to answer a phone call or email either. They pulled an incorrect permit for my job and not one person responded to me either by phone or email. The only way I was able to get a correct permit is by not allowing them on my property until I had a correct permit IN HAND! This company sells you on how efficient they are but what they fail to tell you is that they outsource the work to a 3rd party. The actual installers are good. Had I known I was hiring 1-800-Hansons as a general contractor I would have found someone else.

Do not use Hansons. Did not follow through with everything that was told to us in the estimate. Materials werent delivered on time. Lumber was marked up by 800%. Left debris all over the property. Roofers took off the gutters, then gutters werent sent out for over a week, meanwhile got rain in our basement 3x. Overall terrible experience.

The sales person was not a high pressure actor and very knowledgeable about the service, products and materials. We discussed at length the needs and how they operate. Because they only install a lifetime warranty shingle the cost was a little higher than other companies, but not as much higher than I expected. I was not sold anything other than what I needed. They do windows, gutters, gutter guard, etc. Because the hail storm only damaged my roof I was not needed anything else and they did not try to for any up sale except gutter guard. When I aid I was going to install it myself the salesperson was gracious and did not try to twist my arm and have them do it. Much appreciated.The installation service was great and I was most happy with the preparation and clean up afterwards. The installer went around with me and checked everything out before starting. Got a walk-around afterwards, too. They did a wonderful job. It looks great. I like the look of the new roof vents too. These are linear ones instead of the typical can style and will give me better ventilation.The installers were professional and fast! The entire roof was installed in a single day (good weather) on a 1800 square foot roof. They cleaned u everything except for a couple of bits of material that had fallen on to my second floor deck. I cant fault them for that as of the deck location and they were accessing that space (no 2 story ladders from that side.The price of my roof shingles was for a lifetime warranty which wasnt that much more in cost than I had priced other services for 5 and 15 years shingle warranty. My insurance company is giving me a premium discount because of the lifetime warranty too! I will save enough on the insurance that it will pay for itself in 3 years according to my insurance agent.All in all I am very impressed with the service and product. If I decide to upgrade my windows in the future I will probably use Hansons for that as well.BTW - My elderly father did have them do gutter guards and he has zero complaints and they have been working fabulously.Edit 6/1/2020 - Had them install gutter guards. Did not like climbing up on the roof a coupe times a year to remove leaves and debris from the gutters. Lifetime warranty. Service was completed quickly, one day. Price was reasonable.

Spent an extremely large amount of time with their salesman. Decided to replace all our windows. The process was rocky at first. The scheduler, Missy, was rude and even called my wife a liar. She was pushy and scheduled things without knowledge or consent. This part is important...he (the salesman) told us that Hanson’s would make sure everything was right. For example, if the installers damage anything they will fix it! Every single window casing inside has damaged drywall, messed up caulk that looks like a child did this. Now on to the outside-The “first” installers damaged our siding, cut drywall that didn’t need to be cut and were just messy. They used awful looking 1X4 wraps to hide their shoddy craftsmanship and they looked hideous. And, I forgot to mention that this installer was Hanson’s best one. The “second” installer tried to fix the wraps but it still looks terrible. I asked numerous times to have this fixed-smaller wraps; tighter corners...to clean up the caulking on the inside. The office manager (title on his card even though he calls himself the general manager), Nick Soucek, is shady. He promises to make it right. Sends a guy out to evaluate. Next day, Nick calls me to offer a $500 settlement to get it fixed myself. Materials alone are more than $500 to do it correctly. I chose not to take his offer. The customer service department is equally as bad and oblivious. Long review, but I urge everyone to stay away from Hanson’s. 30 years in business or not, BAD IS BAD!

I just spent over 2 hours with a salesperson who did not offer upfront pricing. We had inquired about a great 50% off installation sale but when the salesperson quoted me a price he did not include any discounts. Then when I mentioned the discount, he said, oh no I didnt know if you knew of any of our promotions. He then knocked about 60% off the price but it was only good for the night. The sales tactic was sleazy at best. I had 2 other reputable companies who gave me up front pricing. One of those companies (who did not waste my time) will get my business. I am extremely disappointed and actually had to tell the salesperson to leave.

Installers are treated like garbage. I had a job scheduled, and Nick pulls another installer in to do it out from under me. I put everything aside on my schedule, to drive 120 miles to do this. Keep in mind all the installers are SUB CONTRACTORS-The Omaha store has a hard time retaining quality people- Ive seen lots of turnovers.

Sales at Hansons in Omaha, NE is not what you hear when you first get into the company. They tell you you will have plenty of leads, however that wasnt my experience. When you are used to getting any where from 21 to 18 leads per week, the fact is at Hansons you split two leads per day between 4 to 5 reps. OOPS, that doesnt add up. You are told you will have the opportunity to earn $100,000 plus per year, but salary reveiews shows $76,000. There are absolutely NO benefits for sales reps at Hansons, you are an independent, 1099 self employed.
