**Highly Not Recommended***I have been living in this community since 2017, its almost 5 years. the work order(services request) are not resolving on time from last one and half year, for any service request it will be taking weeks. It was good when the manager Briana between 2018 to 03/2020. I dont recommend anyone to this community. Recently they have increased rents drastically very high.Im paying more than $100 a month for various maintenance. They will charge very high with the name of maintenance in various parameters like (sewer, water, trash, other maintenance, cable, internet etc.....) but for any issues resolution it will take weeks.

We moved here back in July based on a virtual tour only and absolutely LOVE this place. The staff has been amazing and so helpful! EVERYONE! The Office is so friendly and willing to go above and beyond! Maintenance is awesome as well! Of course with renting there is typically a maintenance request at some point or another and they are so quick to respond, get the issue addressed, and taken care of! As far as the apartment itself, spacious, quiet, friendly neighbors, and of course we love they welcome our fur babies too! Totally recommend~!

This is a very nice community. I appreciate having a quiet space, my own garage(s) and access to package pick-up after hours. The pool is beautiful, and the walking / biking trail is very convenient. My a/c is rocking it this summer. I love the updated granite counter-tops and new sinks. They were completely worth the upgrade.Moving from PA a year ago, after the flooding where there was a housing shortage, and during a particularly hot summer was simply awful. Finding a decent place to live with just a few short weeks was extremely difficult and dealing with the the guys moving me into my 3rd story apartment was horrible. While Murphy may have been my co-pilot for much of last year, Brianna and the other office staff present helped mitigate a lot of my stress and frustrations. They were friendly, patient, helpful, and did what they could to assist my move while I was working odd days and even facilitated my temporary housing until I could get moved in.I really like my apartment- plenty of space, conveniently located, and it met all my needs. The community gatherings prior to Covid were a lot of fun, thanks to Jordan and Brianna. Hope to attend some again!

I’ve loved living at Breckenridge. The complex is perfectly located as it’s close to Lake Zorinsky, many outdoor shopping areas, and also close to a lot of restaurants. Staff is incredible... whenever I’ve had an issue their staff has resolved the issue quickly. Maintenance is great, fast acting and issues resolved quickly. Great landscaping. If you’re looking for a place to live, I’d recommend taking a look at Breckenridge.

Brianna at Breckenridge is such a light. She truly cared about what I wanted out of an apartment complex, even a home. She showed me multiple units that fit my needs and budget. I visited MANY complexes before making my decision, and I would recommend Brianna and Breckenridge to anyone looking for a new home. I ended up finding an apartment in a better location to my specific work, BUT Breckenridge was easily at the top of my list. Definitely check this place out!!!

Ive never had to wait more than 24 hrs for anything I have needed repaired, replaced etc AND Ive never had to have them address the issue a second time! Right the 1st time. The property is clean and well maintained. Well lit lots and I always feel safe. Units are updated and very spacious and nice. Layout is great. Recently added a dog park and additional parking. Transferred from Lionshead after spending two years there, we came to Breckenridge. Overall we had a great experience here. The office staff did their jobs very well and after a few months knew my apartment number by my face when retrieving packages. Brianna the office manager is very diligent when issues need handled, and maintains excellent communication with you.Running trails are right down the hill, and Zorinsky is but a 2 min drive.Only a couple of downsides here: Parking is a struggle unfortunately the way the complex is laid out makes it difficult to add anymore spaces. Which also limits the trash receptacles to only having one in the complex all together. However, the valet trash is very helpful but for larger items needing thrown away driving to the trash compactor is needed.Would have loved to stay longer, but more space is needed now that I am working remotely. Otherwise I recommend anyone to live here.

The current leasing team - Brianna, Ashley, Larisa and Josh are excellent to work with. The team takes an interest in each resident and understands customer service and interaction. If I have a work order or an issue that I report to the office I know it will be addressed and resolved. If I have ever had a maintenance problem, it has always been addressed or fixed within 24 hours. I was shown exactly which unit I would be renting and I felt like everything I have been through with this community has been processed in a super professional manner. My personal interactions with maintenance have been pleasant always. The club house staff are very nice and helpful always. Even my interactions with corporate have been pleasant. They communicate way in advance on parking situations and are very clear about property rules and regulations. I think a lot of it comes down to what kind of tenant you are and if you take the time to read the information they provide. Hoping some others would take the time to post some good reviews here. I really thought the rough communication for moving in was a red flag, but I decided to move in anyway. I love the apartment itself but the parking is horrendous. If you aren’t home by 6pm there’s basically nothing available and they don’t rent garages for a decent rate at all. My car got broken into 2 weeks ago and the theif just stole my baby’s car seat, coat, and shoes. Not the apartments fault- I get it but maybe if they didn’t charge an extra 45 a month for their “non-negotiable Amenity package” I could afford to rent a garage... except that barely covers half of what they charge to rent a garage 🙄

My family and I have lived in Richdale Group apartments in NE and TX on multiple occasions. We have actually lived in the Breckenridge Apartments on 4 different occasions. Before this most recent time, I would have absolutely recommended Breckenridge to friends and family. This time we we signed an 18 month lease and it was the worst decision possible. We had had multiple issues that were not handled correctly. We had plumbing leaks that damaged our personal property. We had a neighbor doing work on his car in a attached apartment garage that put gas fumes through out the entire apartment complex, and the apartment company refused to do anything, so we had to call gas company to get them to look into. Then due to gas fumes we had a sick child. Then due to additional water damage to the subfloor in the laundry room the water heater was literally sinking through the floor. Apartment did a quick fix, but did not offer a realistic solution to help us out when we had what could be considered an unsafe living condition. Then when we decided to move out to make sure that we did not get back our security deposit, the complex decided to claim that there was pet urine stains in all three bedrooms and charge us to replace the carpet. When we have a dog that I can 100% guarantee has NEVER had an accident indoors since we adopted him eight years ago (best dog we have ever owned). This has truly been the worst experience from someone that has always in the past been a big promoter of the Breckenridge Apartments, but no more. Very Disappointed to say the least.

Im postng this review after renting here 1yr, and am now renewing my lease. My Breckenridge 1bdrm is not only enjoyable, but it also relaxes & comforts me at the end of a long day at work. The large windows let in a lot of sunlight giving a warm glow to my home, and the crown molding helps it to feel cozy, not a generic apartment. Im so pampered now having my own really nice laundry room in my unit with full sized washer & dryer. I also like that I can choose the actual size of load on the washing machine. The staff are always pleasant & helpful, making me feel welcome & glad to have a place that is more than just a place to live. They do repairs in a timely manner. I will start out the gate and say I have had issues upon moving in, but every single one has been resolved within 24-48 hours. Parking does get scarce at times, but there is almost always a spot within easy walking distance. Complex staff (Brianna, Zac, and Ashley) are all very responsive and friendly. They even remember my kids names when we come to pick up packages at the office. Snow removal has been difficult for the complex staff, but we have had a lot more snow this season than usual and it normally would not be so bad for them otherwise. The gym is nice, however I cannot comment on the pool until it opens up for the season. The amenities cover basic cable television, valet trash service (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs only), the pool and gym equipment and maintenance, and so on. Rent is reasonably priced, and we were aware there would be additional costs or fees upon moving in (there always is everywhere these days). The complex recently added the ability to pay with a credit or debit card (albeit a service fee along with it), which helps speed up the process of paying rent. Overall, very satisfied renters here.

Overall, Breckenridge was not the worst place weve lived. We never had any issues with management and everyone we spoke with was always very courteous. We broke our lease early but were aware of the terms and ended up being pleasantly surprised with the outcome.I gave three stars because I did not feel the apartment itself was worth what we were paying. Certain things were nice (the high ceilings, large closets, close proximity to walking trail/park) but several things were not. Parking was always a problem. Within a week of moving in, my husbands vehicle was towed (and by a very shady company - whole saga ended up being a nightmare). Things in the apartment were just plain too small. The sink (with no spray hose) was impossible to wash dishes in without sloshing water all over the counter and the washer/dryer were also very small for a family of four with two kids.As with typical apartments, things are just cheap and repaired with shoddy maintenance. I will say, however, maintenance was on top of things for the most part (although we did have water leaking into one of our windows and Im not sure that was ever correctly resolved). But if we ever had issues it seemed they would come that day or the next. Garbage, however, was a complete joke. The dumpster was constantly over flowing and trash would not be picked up right away on trash days which caused it to be blown all over.Overall, most of our issues were with the other tenants. We did not like at all how people smoked all over, especially the tenant above us who threw his cigarettes off his balcony. In our short time there (8 months) a vehicle went over the upper parking area onto the vehicles below and someone ran their vehicle into a set of garages. With a ground level apartment, people would be out walking their yipping dogs late into the night right by our bedroom window. We also did not like the amenity fee we had to pay and felt like it did not have enough value for what we were paying. I wish the complex had had a playground instead of a pool as that would have been used all the time by the zillion kids just roaming the parking lot of the complex. I was always afraid one was going to get hit by the crazy, speeding drivers plowing through.Location of the apartments is superb and we always did feel safe, but you can be the judge and decide if you want to take the chance with the many other factors that are giving this complex low ratings. Situations are different for everyone. Overall, we would not rent from this company again.

I would not recommend this community to anyone. I shouldve known things were going to be problematic on move-in day. Seeing as they are considered corporate housing their lease terms are rather ridiculous and I was a property manager in Los Angeles. On move-in day my unit still had to be cleaned. I was not informed that a good portion of the unit had been painted an accent color. Upon move-in I requested that a new color be painted as it was offered only to never have it done.Secondly, the overall upkeep of the common areas is rather lacking. The halls are carpeted and reek of very strong pet odors. The trash situation is appalling for a property this size. For the entire complex there is only ONE trash compactor that is constantly full and items are always let outside of it.Since moving in Ive found a new bug everyday something Ive never dealt with in any of my previous residence. In addition to the nuisance that are the insects, evidently the maintenance and management give little regard to notifying tenants when they will be entering their units. I came home to find a notice on my counter that maintenance had came into my unit to make repairs, one that wasnt even requested or urgent.Save yourself the headache and keep looking.

I wish zero stars was an option.I have now lived here 7 months, and just recently found out that we have had a GAS LEAK that has been LEAKING SINCE WE MOVED IN 7 MONTHS AGO. CLEARLY no maintenance inspections were performed before we were moved in.Apparently this isn’t a big deal and it’s totally normal... not that it’s damaging to my heath or anything... or maybe the fact that I now have prescribed migrane medicene... probably just a coincidence according to them. Don’t forget about the fact that they charged US to fix the leak.We get charged more monthly than we originally agreed to.We got told that we had 2 weeks to rehome our dog (after they told us that her breed and weight were perfectly allowed when we got her). They charged us a $20 fee for the first 6 months for not having renters insurance when I have had renters insurance since I moved in.The appliances are so old they barely work and whenever I have issues it seems to take months to resolve. If you decide to live here or ANY RICHDALE OWNED APARTMENT, good luck! A headache from the beginning without even signing with them. They did not know how to transfer me from another Richdale building causing me to miss a low rate on a room with them the day I saw it. They continuously told me a different room would be available to see that was under maintenance. I followed up multiple times and each time they pushed it off saying it would be available next week but each time they pushed it another week back, causing me to miss out on my preferred moving date. Because they made me think I could see it (over several weeks in which they somehow never knew a specific date) their other rooms that I also would have considered became signed for. In the meantime their rates also skyrocketed. After another apartment made me an offer with a special I called breckenridge back to see what they could do for rates. I was told by breckenridge I could get half off the first month of rent with them. I missed the deadline for the other apartment special due to deciding to go with breckenridge. When I called breckenridge back I spoke with someone else and they said I was not eligible for the special since I had already lived in a Richdale building. So much time wasted calling and trying to work with them as they were extremely inexperienced and manipulative.

Edit: Residents get a little lazy with parking. Fire lanes are meant to be clear for firetrucks to properly get inside thr complex. If current residents find their car missing the next morning there is a 99.9% chance that I was the one who got them towed. Fire Lanes must be cleared. Just because you guys are too lazy to walk 100 feet from another building. That is your own fault. Or if you find your side mirrors damaged. Not my fault you parked in the main traffic area. This was the first apartment that I have ever lived in, I got a 3 bedroom with 2 other people. We are loving it so far, the building we are in has a corner lot, meaning no traffic goes into it, except those that live in the same building. The 3 bedrooms are big, I thought I had a lot of stuff from my old room, but after moving in. I told myself I needed more stuff to just fill the room properly. Management has been wiped clean and a new slate of office employees are now here. Majority females, with very high enthusiasm. They are all happy to do their jobs and are very polite, I am glad they got these new people. From what I hear the old management wasnt so good.On the part of parking, we are 2 weeks into the lease and have had no issues about parking. There was one incident were someone parked on a firelane. But that car was quickly towed away. Other than that the neighbors around us are family oriented or elderly, its a quiet place.Minus one incident when we were moving in, a man we have dubbed Plays-With-Squirrels had a quarrel with his girlfriend about a TV, he proceeded to kick at the attached-garage.Me being an architect, I have made a few findings. The building is old, but has been given modern renovations. The one minus I had, that didnt require a minus of a star due to how easy it was to clean up. Was the final paintjob, they have a rough appearance by using a brush to flick paint at the walls, it looks nice but the painters failed to cover most items. Door knobs, light switches and countertops were covered in small specs of paint, but Mr. Clean fixed that. All in all its in a part of town that you wouldnt see much traffic, due to there being a small lake that keeps West Center on the other side. This place however is NOT recommended for families bigger than 5, this place, given its choice in appliances, is meant for new couples. Families with 1 or 2 kids, or even elderly couples wanting a place of their own that is not a retirement hope.EDIT 10/04/2018:Saw a review about paying for cable. This guy obviously didnt read the fine print. You get free cable here, FREE CABLE. The only thing you gotta do is go down to the cox store in village pointe and pick up the mini boxes and turn on service, thats it. The 45 a month covers trash along with some extra to help tend the pool and workout area that is available to tenants. Its a family apartment complex, yes there are dogs, dogs bark. Get over it, you wont be able to hear barking from dogs indoors, the insulation is nice and thick, most outdoor noises are masked. One throwback is the people who walk in the middle of the street. Dont mind them, if they get hit its their fault. Also a warning to current residents who park in fire lanes, I do report you guys as soon as you park on the red lines. I am watching the streets to keep em clear. The fire lanes are there for safety, not to help you make the shortest route to your building, there are plenty of parking spots.Edit: I moved out in March of this year. We were told we had the 3 bedroom for the price of a 2 bedroom..it was the coolest apartment I was ever in. This place will be remembered. If you are single or have friends to move in with you check this place out.

We love this place!!! The staff are wonderful. Anytime weve needed manintence they were there on it and it was fixed within 24-36 hours. The grounds keepers do a terrific job of keeping the area clean. I love that we dont have to take our trash to the dumpster, we love being able to set it out on M-W-F and they pick it up for us. Our garage is attached to our building so have inside access!! If there a con...it would be the parking. Most people weve seen are using thier garages for storage, not to park there cars in. So the parking can be frustrating at times. The pool and fitness center are awesome. The pool is salt water so now smelly chlorine. The 24 hour access to the gym fits our weird schedule just right!!! We give theses a huge thumbs up!!!

Dirty BusinessWe checked an apartment in Breckenridge 2 months ago and we didn’t like a recent jump in their price. Since then, they chased us with many voice mails. After adjusting their price we agreed to make an appointment next day. When we arrived in the office they told it got rented. We scheduled the appointment at 5 PM just the day before, and they didn’t let us know they rented the apartment before we come all the way to the appointment. To me, this is dirty business and double dipping.

Worst place Ive ever had to deal with. They lied to me tried to say that its a federal law that you cant have 3 people in a 2 bedroom and that we would have to get a 2 bedroom and this is after they took our $150 holding fee and our $25 per application when they knew we were applying for a 2 bedroom! Federal law? Thats weird cuz the place down the street took us in lol place is a damn joke dont waste your time here like I did... Called everyday for a week to see if we got approved and everytime they said the manager was in a meeting and she would call me back and corporate wasnt any help either! I got a nicer apartment for cheaper and farther west! Dont move here or any of the richdale apartments Ive lived at Vanderbilt and there no better

Worst apartment experience ever. Maintenance sucks here really unprofessional...the roof leaks water behind the fire place called multiple times to have them come fix it and we just keep getting told they are making bids to have the roof redone..apparently that takes 5 months...the heat doesnt work in our apt have it set to 69 the heat on and it says its 64 degrees in here! When we first moved in we had ant problems for the first 3 months of living here...all in all this place is a dump and I suggest you keep your money and spend it somewhere else where they actually care about the people living in the apts!HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!!
