I went here last weekend with my cousin. My cousin got gel full set with a pedicure. I got a gel mani&pedi.The lady that did my pedicure ended up cutting my toe while aggressively removing the cuticle. And I had to ask/tell her to cut my toe nails short at least 5 times. Even after her asking me you want short?, and I nodded my headed yes while verbally saying yes, I want my toe nails very short, please! She proceeded to put the clippers away and barely filed my toe nails.When I showed the staff what I wanted for my manicure, (the picture with pink glitter tips on black polish), I asked if thats doable, and they excitedly said yes. When it was time to go get my manicure done, the water was cold and the lady who did my nails was upset with me that I didnt remember the specific color of glitter I wanted (the previous staff member had taken the example swatch and walked away with it). I had to find a couple different polishes, to make sure they had it in stock. Once she put the glitter polish on the tip, it didnt show at all. And she asked if I liked it. I was honest and said no. She proceeded to then tell me its cause I chose the black back polish. And the glitter isnt meant to be on black.My cousin, the lady and I all talked about just doing a couple layers of the glitter all over. The lady only did one layer and finished up really quickly. I was also honest with her and the cashier lady, and told them both I was not happy with the service. The cashier told me I can come back if theres an issue.... yeah Im definitely not going back nor am I recommending this place.Why would I come back, when Im already having issues in the salon and no one is listening to me or caring?Take your business else where. Way too much money for rude and unprofessional service. Money and time wasted. And I just wanted to relax and feel pretty for a day so I can get nice photos done.

Nice, clean nail salon. Large section of colors. I do dips and the price is reasonable ($40). They are very friendly and do a great job. They do waxing also. They were not busy but I always make an appointment.

I found this place by pure accident. So I went to a place on the westside and not even a day, I had three nails fell off. Frustrated and not happy I found modern nails and they fixed them for free and only charged me their normal price for a refill but they replace three of the nails without charging me. So I went back to get my refill, and they didnt disappoint me, in fact they did so much better...here my nails

Absolutely loved the first couple times I came in and got my acrylics done. They are super sweet and kind but my last three sets were not great. The acrylic is not being filled all the way to the end of the nail bed and left very bumpy and when I bring up that there is holes and bumps they just draw the designs over the holes. The gel polish isn’t being applied to the whole nail so the sides of it look very rough and unfinished . Three days after my fill it already looks like I need to go back and that is just disappointing. I usually call ahead and set up an appointment so I’m not sure why my service is being rushed. Again super sweet employees so that’s not the issue.

After having a horrible experience elsewhere, I drove to Modern Nails. I was pleasantly greeted and received service, within 5 minutes of arriving.Modern Nails staff are professional and courteous. One person does the full service, (no assembly lines here).Dina is my new nail-tech and she is amazing. Her nail art is freehand and picture perfect. I have coconut trees, with birds in the background, (2 fingers). My nails are so pretty. They can make me feel like I should be going on a tropical 🏝 vacation.I’m very happy with the service and looking forward to my next appointment.😊

I got the best manicure at Modern Nails today! Hand-painted floral pattern on gel nails. The technicians were polite, and the work is detailed, neat, and looks great. The technician worked with me to get the look just right and continually checked in to make sure I liked it. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful experience. The ladies were all very nice, and super accommodating. They let us schedule appointments for 2 mani/pedis right at closing time. Despite it being the end of the day and them leaving right behind us when we were all done, I did not feel rushed at all. My manicure could use minor improvements/fine details with the acrylic & gel (not fully painted on some sides) but overall I am happy. Additionally, I was really indecisive about what I wanted as its been a long time since I had my nails done; they were flexible and welcoming to any changes I wanted. Clean, beautiful esthetic too. Will be back for sure.

I have had great experiences here! The first time I went I made a reservation and when we showed up they were running a bit behind. But they were very nice and offered us drinks while we waited. At the end they even gave us a credit for the wait! I have never had such great customer service at a nail salon. I went back a different day as well and they got us right in. The technician did a wonderful job helping me find the right color. Planning to take another friend too! I’m happy to refer friends here!

Wonderful experience. They fit me in toward the end of the day, no issues. I received a pedicure and manicure. They really pay attention to detail and make sure the customers are comfortable, super gentle and great care. I really like that they clarify exactly what I would like done. Nail tech seemed annoyed when I asked for a different color on my nails then my toes. Was more interested in talking to her coworker and cut me a few times. Asked for almond shaped nails and didnt get anywhere close to the shape. When I asked her to reshape she barely did anything and then said that it was almond shape. Most likely not coming back. Girl who did my toes was amazing and very good

I booked an appointment online after hours and they confirmed it in 2 minutes. I went with two friends and they were very busy but still got to us quickly. Staff was helpful and polite. And they did a great job on my gnarly toesies! Would recommend!

Mothers day present was getting my nails done. They turned out just like the picture I showed them. I was very impressed, no wait time, the staff was very nice, passing out water, inquiring about mothers day plans and such. They also have a nail guarantee, anything happens they will fix it. My new nail place!

My daughter and I visited Modern Nails and were treated amazingly. I was impressed with all the cleaning measurement that they have take to protect clients and employees. I observed them cleaning and disinfecting work and pedicure stations constantly. They make everyone wash their hands when entering the salon. I like that the pedicure stations are separate from hands stations and that they have partitions separating the client from the technician or other customers. My first time going today. I just moved from Florida and really wanted to get my nails done since I got a job where I can actually have them. I am madly in love with them. The best nails Ive ever had! Very friendly and they made me feel very special. This is where I will be getting my nails done from now on. I recommend. They also do this system where after going 5 times you get 10% off and also for your birthday.

Based on ratings and distance, I finally went here for the first time and the ratings are correct. I didnt get the name of the woman who did my pedicure but she was really nice and gentle. And I was amused by the fact that the pedicure seating was in its own little room. I will definitely return here again!

Tech talked on her Bluetooth the whole time in her own language, did not use a basecoat, so of course my polish chipped in 2 days. Also she just let me sit there and didnt offer to put my nails under a dryer, I had to ask like 5 minutes later while she was stocking shelves. I do not recommend this place and I will not return.

This place was AMAZING! I took my mom and I to get pedicures and they were very nice. We came in about 40 minutes before closing and did not rush at all; our toes looked so good! What’s really cool about this place is that the pedicures are in a different space than manicures. The people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come here again! :)

Ive had acrylic nails since the mid-eighties and Christy is the best nail stylist with whom Ive ever worked. Her nails seldom break or chip even after a month or more. Her salon is bright, clean, professional and welcoming. The staff are competent, polite and personable. All in all an hour spent in modern nails can be one of the best hours in my week. And, at its end, I have great nails for weeks.

Love that they offer organic nails. Only place left in town that does! While quick and efficient they do a really good job at not knicking you and shaping your nails.

I went to get a pedicure. Lisa is awesome, she is so good. Everytime I go I know what I am going to get, she never rushes and always does a great job. I have been to other salons and no one is like Lisa. Go visit her. She only works Mondays and Wednesdays.

The husband was very nice and friendly. However the wife did my nails. She was on a video call tye whole time and rushed through doing my nails. I paid 50 plus dollars for a set of gel nails that looked horrible and about a werk and a half later have now broken off. Will never return back there. If I could give a a negative star it would be about a negative 5. Should have walked out instead if paying. Hard lesson learned. Have also shown and put a word out to all girls I know that get their nails done.

I was so excited to go because they were on the top ten for the area. I go in and it started alright but then she didnt want to do what I asked for but I had to insist price doesnt matter. Then in as she was filing she Burnes me twice. I washed my hands and found a nail in even. Tried to fix it but didnt. After I got into my care I realized one of my nails are way to short.She rushed because she was ready to leave it only took her 30min when it can take almost an hr. This is the worst Ive ever had my nails done. I drove 23min.

I went in for shellac because my nails are short. And the lady convinced for dip and I was not satisfied at all with my nails. She cut me a couple of time, she seemed irritated and impatient. Very disappointed!

It was the worst experience that I have had. They didnt do what I wanted because they didnt take the time to clarify what it is that I wanted. Then wanted to charge me the full price even though I didnt receive the nails my daughter and I wanted. The fact that no one there knows enough English to give customers what they want, which is why the whole experience was awful. Wont ever go back, good thing there is A LOT of OTHER nail salons, so I wont have to ever go to this salon again!

I used to love this place. Owners are nice. The last two times I left furious. Today after they messed my toes up so bad I left before they could paint my fingers. First the lady was going to skip filing and doing my cuticles. She started painting and I asked if she was going to even and straighten the shape and top edge. She said she did it while I was talking! I wasnt happy with the wired shape but she clipped them too short to fix. Then I got home and notices the gel polish doesnt even cover 1/4 of a few of my now way too short and kind of round toes nails! And the majority of us like a more squared of toe nail. I dont know what she was thinking. They make excuses and cut corners. Place is not what it once was and I tried to give them the benefit of doubt and go once more and wish we hadnt wasted the money. My friend with me has the same problem with hers :(

This is my usual salon. However the last couple of times I feel like the service was rushed.

Manicure and gel. The lady rushed me to move my hand out and into the uv light like it was the end of the world if I took 1 second longer to do so, made me anxious, was not courteous and rushed my gel. Gel came out with bubbles and doesnt look neat! Manicure is an extra $10 for lotion, extra gel all over fingers and hands, and bad filing, apparently! So much for depending on 4 star review!

I feel I paid $25 to only get nail polish because the gentleman did almost nothing, even after I asked him to cut some cuticles. Not going back:(

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I went in and got eyelash extensions and they did such a bad job. My eyelashes are hard and hurt! They did them completely wrong, my eyelashes look very clumpy and its very painful. They barely spoke English, DONT GO THERE.
