Got acrylics done at another place (my very first time with acrylics) and they didnt do a good job. California Nails fixed them up and made them beautiful - a lot more natural looking, which is what I was going for! They were also very attentive and gentle with my hands. I never thought Id want acrylics again after my first nightmare, but California Nails made me reconsider. THANK YOU! :)

Tonight I had the best facial of my life at California nails! I used to live in Las Vegas and had facials at fancy spas in the hotels. And this was so much better! Sure I can hear everyone talking and they dont give you a robe or a glass and play soothing music-the atmosphere isnt fancy but such a great facial. Felt amazing. I could barely stay awake. She didnt keep leaving the room while I relaxed with a cream or clay on my face. She massaged it the whole time. It felt amazing! Everything smelled and felt great. Definitely will be going back. I recommend them too!

The woman that did my nails was so talented and creative. I told the staff I was getting married tomorrow and every single one of them wished me well and said congratulations. Terri was awesome and did an AAAAAMAZING job on my nails. Im from Atlanta and Ive been in the PNW for 5 yrs and its always hard to find a nail tech for my wants (I get crazy nails with powder no polish) you have to be talented to satisfy me and Terri is! I also like the other staff and environment super friendly and professional!

The whites were first, then a finger snapped and I had them redone in black. Overall Im pretty happy with the result. We will see how this set hold up in compare to the last one. The nail snapped within a week. Update the nails didnt last long at all and snapped on three fingers

You should not tell people that it will be a 10 minute wait for a pedicure if you know darn well that they will be waiting for much longer. I waited for 35 minutes with no apologies or anything before leaving. During that time one lady came in (AFTER me) got foils on her fingernails, and then promptly got seated in the pedicure chair that I had been waiting patiently for! My time is valuable and so is my money that will be spent elsewhere!

I’ve been going to California nails for about a year now and I’m always so pleased with their work and customer service but today I had a superb experience with Linda! Everyone there takes their time and is very efficient and makes me feel very comfortable. Their prices are cheap and their work is amazing! Highly recommend if you ever get a chance to stop by :)

I live in Seattle and have been going to the same nail guy for 10 plus years. My usual guy is on vacation for a month and while visiting my mom in Olympia I broke a nail. I called California nails and they got me right in. I showed the man (I didnt catch his name) a picture of some nails I had done last year and he did exactly what I wanted. He took his time and paid attention to every detail! My nails turned out amazing!

I absolutely love this place so much!True is the BESTTTT at eyelashes, I always get compliments by everyone about them, I even drive a hour to the shop because I refuse to go anywhere else. They are so nice a friendly too! Its a must go. 5/5 highly recommend!

They were very kind when I went and held my appointment even though I was fifteen minutes late. The deluxe spa pedicure was great. I enjoyed every aspect of it. My nails also look very nice and my feet got some much needed TLC. However, I have two qualms with the place. First, there was not a lot of parking available. I understand the place is small but I had to park on the street. If you don’t mind that at times of peak business you’ll be fine. Secondly, I question the cleanliness of the place. I didn’t see them clean the foot basin between uses of people which is pretty unsanitary. The lady beside me had some of the nastiest feet I’ve ever seen. And if you’re not cleaning after that, then, I’m not so sure about this place. Just because I didn’t see them clean between uses does not mean they didn’t but, it just have been a very quick cleaning. It would be different if they used liners in the basins but they don’t. Since I’m could be wrong about them not cleaning between basins, I’ll leave my rating at three stars.On a positive note, my bailed look fantastic.

The last time I came here they did a very good job. But I went yesterday with my friend, and they kind of screwed up. First my friend said she wanted a green color, and they grabbed about 5 colors that werent green. Then the lady doing my nails put a matte finish on it when I didnt ask for one. Im not sure what happened, but my nails look like raisens! On top of that they doubled the price on just a basic set. Most likely wont be coming back.

This place is amazing to get acrylics! I have been to multiple other places and my nails always fall off before I can even get them filled. This is the only place they have stayed on. Being 13, I don’t usually get treated very good because people think I don’t know what they’re doing when I do. This place has treated me very well and I will definitely come back!!

The staff is nice but I asked for a set of nails and while doing it they said they don’t have powder to do the nails I want but didn’t tell me in the beginning and did them un neatly to get ombré effect they smeared the paint on my finger to make the ombré and charged 45 for it...

They were super genuine and kind. I had my 2 year old with me and they werent bothered by her at all, they even let her stick her feet in my pedicure. They did a fantastic job and Ill definitely be going there for now on!

Everyone was very friendly and the other person I went with enjoyed their manicure at California Nails, BUT, my manicure barely lasted 2 days.I asked for French tip nail polish on my natural nails. My technician applied a really nice base coat of paint on the tips of my nails and cleaned the edges well, but then proceeded to apply 2 very thick layers of top coat. The top coat was so heavy that it kept making the base layer slide around and look sloppy. I appreciate that he offered to re-paint the nails that weren’t working out. Unfortunately, when I asked him to do just one layer of top coat instead of 2, he insisted on 2.My nails didn’t even last 24 hours. The next day, the top coat of polish began to completely peel off of several nails. Within 36 hours, the manicure looked so bad that I cleaned off the rest of the polish.

My daughter has had her nails done 3 times by 3 different people and every time they have turned out amazing! Would never take her anywhere else and would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done. I have seen people that have gone elsewhere and there really is no comparison. They do fabulous work and give great customer service.

DO NOT come here, my nails got INFECTED the day after getting my nails done and it was verified by a doctor that they are indeed infected due to none proper use of equipment an sanitation. I get my nails done on a regular basis an have NEVER experienced this it is the most painful thing I have experienced, I have a bunch of tiny cuts an scratches lining my cuticle beds due to the roughness of the equipment they use to shape an file your nails they burned some of the skin on my cuticles making it more prone to infection not to mention the glue from the nails went over my cuticles which it should never do, sealing in the infection the doctor ordered I take them off right away an never go back there he was horrified at the infection an how it is developing. I cannot stress this enough PLEASE save your nails an your money and do not go here this is not a sanitary place to get your nails an done an they do no care about the well being of your nails. Not to mention how rude they are to there customers especially there more younger customers.

Very nice people. My wife got a pedicure. They take their time and out thorough. If your in a hurry dont come here. You get your moneys worth. Place is cramped but thats due to the fact they are a best kept secret. Enjoy!

This place does an AMAZING job, better than any other salon in the area. I have bitten nails and they are very short, so I have been trying to find a place that can do acrylics for me so I can break the habit. Other places either caused me to bleed, fell off in a few days and were very rude. But this place took care of me! They put lots of time and care into my nails, and on occasion asked if I was okay or if I was in any pain. Terry, the one who did my nails, was so gentle and sweet, and talked to me! Most places ignore you or chat with co-workers, but she actually talked with me . Not only that, the nails they did lasted! Even with my short nails, her craftsmanship was long lasting. When I had one fall off because I work with my hands a lot, she did a complimentary fix that day. They guarantee their work and are more than willing to fix them! I would recommend this place to anyone.

The nails were filed wrong, looks odd. way too thick. my nail bed looks like a shovel so wide and odd. I am not satisfied. could have done better at home And they took foooooooorever 🤦🏻‍♀️😴

I loved the service and how attentive the staff is but it happened twice where my thumb nail needed to be painted. The paint kept coming off and it’s supposed to be gel. I’ve never had this kind of experience and this was my first time visiting the place. This makes me second guess the quality or if it is even gel nail polish. I got home late this evening and around bedtime I noticed it peeled off again.

I have been going to this place for over 15 years!!The nail techs go out of their way with the design. The Price is on point. Especially after all the BEAUTIFUL nail art they put in!! If there is the smallest thing you may be resting with they go out of their way to help you get what you really want & what you will be most satisfied with. They have incrediable message chairs too!! The ladies that do the pedicures & scrubs are so gentle. Never, not once have I ever been cut by mistake! Never, not once an infection. Such a clean environment.

They have great artists who do special designs. The one I got today has me over the moon. I once was in a hurry and they were busy so I searched around town to find someone else. No one else could do my design . I wasted time and gas looking for this type of craftmonship elsewhere. I like special designs and they are the best for that. They also know their clients well and treat them like friends. The nails I got today are awesome!!! Im going to St. Louis next week for the holiday and cant wait to show them off! The building is so cute and cozy. Once again,they can do just about anything here, and for real good prices! If I were rich Id pay them double🤗

I had wanted to get both a manicure and a pedicure, but I came in half an hour before closing, so I only asked to do a manicure. They greeted me promptly and warmly, and when they realized I wanted both my nails and toes done, Theary (sorry if I butchered your name...) was so kind and said that she’d be glad to stay to do both services for me. Even though it was late, she didn’t rush and did everything beautifully. Very satisfied with everything - will return.

The first time I came here I thought I had found the perfect nail salon. The lady who did my nails didnt dig into the cuticle and cause me pain, she used just the right pressure on the massage and my nails looked stunning. The second time I had a guy and he clipped my cuticles with nail clippers instead of that pincher tool. He cut my skin twice and when I yelped a little he said Oh, did that hurt?. No apology or anything. The rest of the session was just OK and my color came out OK. Lesson learned: come in on Fridays when that guy isnt there.

Usually I love this place. Went in yesterday and asked for a full set with grey fading to black..the lady did absolutely terrible, didnt look anything like the picture I showed her. The black and grey dont fade into eachother what so ever, like 4 of my nails are way crooked and she threw some glitter on top (that I didnt even want) to try to fix it and it looked even worse. Super bummed I had to pay $35 for these.

Im just leaving the California nails, pregnant can barely see my feet and unable to reach my toes. I paid for the deluxe pedicure. They got busy, while others were able to get the service they paid for I received rushed service where foot scrub was not rinsed off as well as paraffin wax was mixed with lotion and cutilcle oil and left on my legs. I was supposed to receive a hot towel and stone massage. What I got was a hot towel put laid on my legs and a five minute stone massage. The short guy who provided my service took advantage of the pregnancy not thinking that I was going to look at my toes before I got up. He cut my toenails way too short where you can see the lines where my toenails are supposed to be. I brought it to his attention and he insulted me and blamed me. Then he started speaking in his native language referring to me as caca. The ladies seemed pretty nice, but the guy should be fired. Really unhappy and I need to go home and wash the excess paraffin and lotion off of my legs. I wish I would have spent my money somewhere that would have respected my time and money more instead of rushing through my service. I really needed the lift me up...
