Tim and Hannah both did an amazing job! Both were gentle and friendly as well. The environment was calm and relaxing. I made an appointment and they attended me as soon as I got there. The place was also clean- they make everyone wash their hands as soon as they enter which is nice. They took their time while still making space for last minute customers. It was a great balance. Hannah did an amazing job for me today! she took her time filing and shaping so my nails were absolutely perfect! no lumps, super smooth, and the sharpest point i’ve ever had on my nails. she made my nails look exactly like the inspiration photo and they weren’t pricey! i’ve went to another salon in Olympia and got VERY basic coffin black matte nails and paid an outrageous amount, but that wasn’t the case for Instyle. very friendly, very budget friendly, and i absolutely love my nails. This was my first experience in this salon and i can’t wait to go back!

My aunt took me and my sister to get our nails done after 2 years. This is by far the best place we have been to. Very sweet, and considerate. They took their time and our nails turned out great. I usually go to Luxury Nails but they were super busy so this nail place was the next closest option. Me and my mom were very happy with our choice. The nail artist I had, suggested a few options for my nails since I was going to prom that night. I let her take over and I wasn’t disappointed! I hope everyone gets to experience this nail salon. They even offered drinks and gave me a nail kit on the way out which isn’t offered at Luxury Nails.

Tieng is very professional and extremely welcoming. Her whole team greeted me upon entering the salon. She takes pride in her work, and has been in the business over 25-years. Her experience transforms into her work. I used to go to T-Spa and always felt uncomfortable. I would have to tell the nail technician multiple times the shape I wanted, and they would still not get it right. This resulted in filing my nails myself when I got home, which I then thought “Why am I paying for this service, when I am unsatisfied”. I feel so comfortable at Tieng’s, I will never go anywhere else! Top notch service 😊 Highly recommended!!

This place was recommended to me. I got a pedicure first and it was very good. They asked if I wanted a manicure at the same time but I declined and later resented it. My nails were jealous, so I went back and was not disappointed. Staff was very polite and professional.

The owner is very charming and its a nice place, however, I wont be returning to this salon. Heres why, I had the same person work on my nails the last two times I went in. Both times, she ignored the color I picked and didnt seem to understand me when I tried to let her know that the color she was using looked wrong(even though you pick colors from a numbered and labeled menu). She also cut my fingers with the drill tool both times as well. The more recent time was bad enough to make my finger bleed noticeably. She apologized and I acted like it was no big deal, but it still hurts and shouldnt have happened. Also, the staff will push you to spend more money. I told the pedicurist twice that I wanted the basic package and she almost insisted otherwise, then added on a $5 design and didnt mention the extra charge until she was almost done with it. I walked out paying $100 after tipping and didnt get the color I wanted..

This is my absolute favorite nail salon Ive been going here for a little over a year now the owner is amazing I love her she does my nails every time and she always does a fantastic job this time I got ombre done with pink and yellow and it turned out gorgeous so good if you havent been there you have to go and try them out because its well worth it and they have all kinds of different designs they also do facial waxing pedicures she even does haircuts and everybody there is so nice I just love her Tieng is awesome!!!

Woah! Tienga is a hidden gem of Olympia!! I wish I had been coming to them for my nails for longer, they are so kind, helpful, and courteous. the owner is there working with her staff and helped my friend and I pick our nail colors out perfectly when we were trying to decide. They truely care about each and every customer. At the end of my manicure she fixed a blemish I hadnt even see and she buffed it out and fixed it without saying a word! Clearly the staff takes pride in their final product, and I am certainly going back again soon!

Bad experience they cut most of my friend and my fingers when sanding down our nails making us bleed. Nails came out crooked and nail polish was not even some spots were missing a top coat. And nail polish bleed into side of nail making it look bad. Also painted topcoat on my fingers

Pros: My visit was in July 2020; they set up the fiberglass on their manicure and foot spa stations to protect employees and customers.Cons: I’m not very happy with the manicure, my left nails are noticeably shorter than the right but mostly I’m just not pleased how my manicurist would move, twist, and tap my hand roughly.Area/s of Opportunities: People goes to the salon or spa or get their nails done to be able to relax and feel good about themselves. Your staff should understand this first and foremost.

Very clean and sanitary... plexiglass dividers sit between you and your pedicure/manicure person with that person wearing rubber gloves..also, they have you wash your hands upon entering the business. Reasonable prices and very professional and relaxing spa...👍👍

The overall cleanliness and organization of the place is better than most salons Ive been to. They have fiberglass set up in the manicure and pedicure stations to protect their employees and customers. The staff there are super friendly and provides great services. Lisa is the best! This place was okay me and my daughter went in to get our nails done the owner ended up doing my daughters nails they look beautiful on the other hand I got mine done by an amateur the didnt know what that she was doing but that being said it was okay

Took my daughter to get her nails done for the first time and they really made her feel at home! The owner Tieng was the one who did my daughters nails and I’m so glad we got lucky with her! She treated my daughter so well, was gentle with her, and very considerate!

As always, a great mani/pedi, Tammy on the mani did a great job adding some holiday flare, and my toes look just as great!

Ive been coming to Tiengs nail salon since it opened. The service is wonderful! You are greeted like family when you walk in, and my fingers and toes are always so beautiful. All the ladies are great, but Id highly recommend Tammy, as well as Helen and Wendy. Tammy offers an amazing massage along with fun designs too. Conveniently located by Safeway.

Oh man, I wish kept the photos from the awful job they did on my nails. The manicurist made me bleed in 3 spots on my hands, gave my the chunkiest set of acrylics I have ever seen, and applied gel polish without asking if I even wanted gel. Then charged me 55$ for the hack saw job she did. I had to wait a week for my fingers to stop stinging and burning before I went elsewhere to get the nails removed and got a new set.

This is a wonderful gem of a nail salon on the west side in Olympia! The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable, it is very modern and it is clean and very well maintained. The staff here are so nice and accommodating, and do quality work. Mai does a manicure (gel) and pedicure for me about every 3 weeks, and she consistently does fantastic work. I highly recommend making an appointment with her!

Tammy has been taking care of my feet for about 5 years. Highly personably and does a great job every time ... and let’s just say my size 13s would never be confused for those of an athlete or a foot model. She keeps me walking comfortably and my feet looking way better than they would otherwise. She is first rate!

I dont get my nails done on a regular basis, but I have been using nail salons for at least 15 years, and I find Tiengs to have a friendly atmosphere and great service. Like any salon, busy times are a little different than slow times (which I purposely seek), but at Tiengs they give you a shoulder massage and try to make sure you feel pampered. I am almost always completely happy with my manicures and pedicures. I finally convinced my mom to join me for a manicure (shes skeptical of nail salons in general), and she totally enjoyed herself and was completely pleased with her service.I read some of the poor reviews, and in Tiengs defense, I have never been to a salon that tells you to come back later, no matter how busy they are; you have to know going in that if its busy, you will be waiting, and thats better than sloppy service. I just try to go in with time on my hands and a patient state of mind.

I’ve been coming to Tieng’s salon for probably about 10 years at her various salons ( because I follow her around when I find someone that is good and who I can trust). I especially like the way she cuts, colors and styles my hair, but her nail salon is the only one In Olympia that I go to after bad experiences at several other salons where I’ve gotten yelled at for smearing my polish or pressured to upgrade to something more expensive. They will ask at Tieng’s, but only once, and never get upset with you. I especially like Tami, who I’ve known for years. She’s friendly, knowledgeable and totally professional.

Ive been going to Tammy and Bee for manicures and pedicures for a year. These gals are exceptional and professional! I get a design on my nails every two weeks and Ive always been delighted with the creativity and attention to detail. My experience with people who work in a personal service capacity is that they very much want to please their clients. And I can speak from lengthy experience, that Tammy is exceptional. I have brought many clients and my daughter in law in for facials, waxing and acrylic nails. Have always been pleased. My advise to someone who posts negative feedback is to go to the owner and resolve it so that a solution can be agreed upon. Posting negative feedback is unproductive and sometimes unwarranted! Consider the source! I will also say that I had a serious injury to my thumb and she carefully worked around it so Tammy is first rate and I highly recommend her!

Salon is very clean and calm. Mai is my go-to for an excellent pedicure. She is both kind and thorough with my problem heels and toes. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
