Great employees and work. First Stereo i bought wasn’t working with a few things. They exchanged it for a better one that did. Great price

I always try to support small businesses. I got an estimate and had the work done two days later. The cashier overcharged for the items and the installation. I caught one overcharge for the items and reiterated the estimate charges at the time of sale and he changed the amount due. When I got home I realized I had also been overcharged for the labor. I went back to the store and spoke to the manager who refused to reimburse me. He said that I had gotten a great deal and the amount I was charged was their standard rate for labor. When I said it wasnt what was quoted, he refused to reimburse me. When I asked for the owners name and number, he refused to give me the information. I will never go to the store again. Little business or not, they will not be in business at all if they continue these practices. Extremely disappointing!!!

Colton is always fast, efficient and polite never had one negative encounter never had one grumpy phone call. Elizabeth goes above and beyond for her customers she’s fast paced and always trying to do the best for everybody always a smile and a warm greeting. I really do appreciate this place.

I went and here to have my subwoofers that I had just taken out of one car, put into my new car. The guy kept trying to sell me other parts (which is understandable), but he was telling me that my amplifier was underpowered for my speakers and that it wouldn’t sound good. I had just taken them out of my Monte Carlo, and they were producing obnoxious bass. He charged me 200$ to run some wires, and it took 10 hours. Then when I listened to it, the bass was almost non existent. He said it was because I needed to buy a few new pieces of equipment, even when I told him how much bass I was making in my old car. There was no way the power was lost over the span of a week. He said he could tweak something. He twisted a knob in a device and it made a little bit of bass, and he told me that’s Just how it’d sound until I buy an upgraded amp and module. I looked up the amp he was trying to sell me, and he off the bat added a 100$ mark up to the price from BestBuy. A week later, I looked at my amplifier noticed that he had turned down all of the power and bass on my amp in order to try to convince me that my amp was flawed or worn down. I turned those knobs back up, and now I’m back to obnoxious bass. I’m a person that spends a lot of money on stereo equipment and gadgets, and I have a lot of Friends that trust my recommendations when it comes to things like this. I would not go back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They potentially missed out on thousands of dollars in business by trying to scam me for an extra couple of hundred.

I usually am not one to leave reviews but Ive been trying to connect an RCA converter or output converter to my stock stereo with my amp and had many questions. scrolled through to see who was open due to this pandemic and Elizabeth picked up the phone and I hit her with many questions and she hit me with many answers and she was very helpful I havent had service there yet but if nothing goes correctly with me trying to do this by myself I will definitely use their services when that time comes.As I read through my review I was going to go through incorrect things but jus. t know everybody that Im talking to text

Very good people. I took my 08 Street Glide in for issues with my radio cutting out. We thought it was the wiring harness but it was the radio. The wiring harness did have an issue so i bought a new radio because the old one was bad. Daniel did a great job on putting the new one in! Thanks you all did a great job and everything looked great! Appreciate what you did and took the time to explain what was wrong!

These guys were outstanding. They installed a car alarm and automatic door locks on my Honda Civic. I am always nervous about getting these types of things done because you dont know what to expect. They were honest and knowledgable. The install went great. The price was way cheaper than what Car Toys quoted me.

After a year and fixing a bunch of things since the install, I have these notes. Grounding should have been better than 2 self tapping screws for 90 amps of current, they wired the crossovers into the existing thin speaker wire, the mid-woofer speaker wire on one side and the tweeter on the other side have both failed a different points. I wanted 1/0 guage so I could put a bigger sub amp later, they talked me out of it, saying I could bring it back in they really just wanted more $$$ out of me. Will always do my own installs from now on, I saved some time going through them but for $500 you do not get a lot. this was for CD player, component install and basic amp and sub install, with all components except the wiring being provided by me. Also not have amp even close to correctly set up when I picked the car up.

Great customer service! I needed a new stereo in my RV and they helped me select the right stereo for our needs and installed it immediately. We were in and out in less than an hour. Their experience was evident by the speed and quality of their work!

Got me in super quick, brought more work than I scheduled for and they handled it professionaly and without issue. Everything installed perfectly but there was an issue with my receiver sending signals to the amp when playing music through bluetooth. Brought back in the same day and the issue was fixed by rewiring in minutes and at no additional charge! Down to earth shop that does reasonably priced, quality work, would definitely recommend!

Just needed a new backup camera for my truck. Went to the local place, lets just call it Tar Coys for now, and got quoted an obscene price in an effort to get me to buy more than I wanted. Then I went to the Big Box electronics store, well just call that Best guy for now, instead around waiting to be acknowledged for 25 minutes without ever seeing and employee.Then I found out about Soundwaves from a friend. I got the product that wanted, professionally installed, for a price that was, quite literally, a fraction of what had been quoted to me previously. Anything more I need on the truck, this is where I go.

And it hasn’t gotten better.I’m trying to be a law abiding citizen and make my payments on time. I have never missed an appointment or payment. Yet when I schedule my appointment with this company twice. They withheld the proper information, the truth from me. They scheduled my appointments, and told me that I was not in jeopardy in any way by having my appointment scheduled for nov18,2018. I called them to have my ignition interlock swapped from my old truck to my new truck and they did just that and took five hours to do so...Way over the installation time for life safers ignition interlock. I witness them make mistake after mistake but maybe guess and check is their motto.So, I ask them if I still have my calibration appointment set up on the 18 of nov, but if I could set it up on the 19 of nov because that was when I got paid. And I specifically asked, would I be in any trouble, would I be putting myself at any risk by doing that. They said no you’ll be fine you won’t be locked out, you won’t pay late fees, you will be just fine. Only to find out when I woke up Friday morning nov 16, that I was locked out of my vehicle, I missed work, my fiancé missed work because my vehicle was parked in front of hers, I had to pay a tow truck driver, and pay fines because of this establishments owner and staff straight up LYING TO MY FACE AND OVER THE PHONE.They did NOT tell me my lock out date was apparently nov 10-nov15.They scheduled and printed my appointments for the 18, and 19 of November, while KNOWING, I clearly should’ve had an appointment between the dates of nov 10- nov 15. The audacity of the staff here has got me baffled and they will be reviewed by multiple people I’ve been in contact with. If you want something done right I suggest going elsewhere, if being treated like an average human being matters, I suggest going elsewhere.I called their branch office or whomever sets up schedules appointments, set up an appointment. I showed up 15 mins poor to my apt time only to get pushed behind another guy that was there wth no appointment scheduled, even though I had one scheduled for their opening time of 10 am.I’ve been told, or lied to time and time again, that it’ll be done shortly, you’ll be outta hear soon, thirty minutes more, and here I’ve been waiting for five hours only to watch others get their equipment installed and sent on their way. I witnessed some people come in and leave within an hour and a half.I ask why and what’s happening in a calm collected manner only to be told it’s almost done we’re just closing it up it’ll be less than 30 Mina, only to wait an additional hit at the least.As I’m writing this I’m still waiting over an hour for them to “close it up”They have no respect or care for you or what you have planned. First come first serve especially when you have an appointment seems to be something this company can’t follow.Or maybe it’s just something against me, who knows, this has been my first time in their location and my first time using their service only to be disappointed disrespected and feel helpless and lied to immensely.

They have better pricing and better customer service than car toys.
