I stopped in to get my sound system tuned. John was extremely helpful and kind about solving my problem he tuned everything back the way it sounded prior. He took 20 minutes out of his day to help me and didn’t charge me for anything. Would definitely recommend coming here knowledgeable and courteous staff!

Went in on Saturday. Was helped out by Jon. Didnt know exactly what I wanted, but did know I wanted to boost the bass in my car. Jon immediately grabs a deal from Alpine. He read my mind apparently and it was exactly the kind of bass I wanted. Got scheduled the next day for the install and Brandon got it all connected and working right very efficiently. Ashlyn spent about a half hour calling other stores all over Washington to find the model of remote start/alarm I wanted (which was not available due to an inventory shortage beyond the store’s control). Knowing I wanted to buy, but couldn’t wait for the new alarm to be shipped (moving to Hawaii), she was able to find me a slightly better model and get my new alarm installed next day. Excellent customer service and she’s the example of going the extra mile for a customer. I’d highly recommend this location and her in particular. They definitely made my day!

Recently had a car radio installation issue which caused my vehicles battery to loose its charge. The store manager, Mr. Jon Madeley, graciously accepted responsibility for the error in installation, rectified the problem, and even refunded my cost for having been forced to have my car dealer analyze what the problem was since I thought it was related to a bad battery. I much appreciated his pleasant demeanor, understanding, and fair play in standing by the Car Toys guarantee of resolving any installation issues . It was a big job and we are pleased with the finished product.

I went there because I wanted to upgrade the sound system in my vehicle. Wendy, the Assistant Store Manager was a pleasure to deal with, as she showed me their inventory and helped me to pick out the right system for my car. $1700.00 later Im scheduled for install the following morning at 9:00 am. Due to a work-related emergency I find myself running late for the installation appointment and figured Ill place a call to the store and let them know Im on my way. Thats where the pleasant experience comes to a screeching halt and Im left wondering how a store can have a manager with no customer service skills whatsoever. Upon, calling the store Im immediately put on hold by (Steve the manager) who never gets back to me and I hang up 19 minutes later. I then try calling back and I get an answering machine asking me to leave a message. Though I leave a message, nobody at the store bothers to listen to it, as I learn upon arrival. Running late and in a hurry, I forgot my mask in the car. Visually scanning the store upon entry I notice 3 people behind the counter and a few customers looking at the displays. Though everyone in the store are sporting masks, Im immediately accosted by the enforcer (Steve the manager) who demands I get out of the store and put on a mask. I on the other hand, feel Im no threat to the health and safety of the occupants in the store, because they all had masks on. He steps outside with me and I proceed to tell him who I am and explain to him that I called twice but was unable to speak with anyone there letting them know I was on my way. His reply was, He was busy with a customer... Now, its all starting to make sense. I may be a customer too, but less important, because hes already got my money. Against my better judgment, I leave the vehicle there for them to install the equipment I purchased from them. 6 hours later I call to find out if my vehicle is ready for pickup and Im told it is. I DIDNT RECEIVE A CALL FROM THEM UPON COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD, THEY DIDNT HAVE THE EXPERTISE TO CONNECT MY STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS TO THE NEW STEREO, and just before I leave there, I find out why. THE STAFF THERE CONSISTS OF 5 MANAGERS AND 2 INSTALLERS. BACKWARDS! EVERYBODY THERE WANTS TO TELL EVERYBODY WHAT TO DO, AND NOBODY THERE TO DO IT! IVE NEVER BEEN DEMEANED AND DISRESPECTED AS I WAS THERE AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. If I was the owner of that establishment, I would terminate (Steve the Enforcer/Manager) reign of terror there, and would ask Wendy (Assistant Manager) to train the rest in Customer Service.

John was extremely helpful and fast when it came to replacing the in-line fuse for our boat. We came in, asked a question, he knew exactly what we were talking about, educated us, ran to the back got our stuff came back and it was cheap on top of that. Totally recommended.

If I could give negative stats I would. Purchased a kicker hideaway 10. Asked if everything comes with it that I need for connection. Didnt come with splice on RCA plugs. Went to get my cash that I paid back and was told 2 to 3 weeks for a check by mail. Very sneaky they get to use my money for 3 weeks ???????I called the store about my money as well corporate headquarters. A store from Colorado called me funny I live in Washington and I even have them the invoice number. The store told me call back at 430pm and the manner John will see if they have cash to give me back. Now the fun part is that they told me their policy is on the back of the invoice. The one that I get after I give them my cash, but nothing stating they give me a check as a refund. Then they put me on hold for 48 mins and I am there till after 5pm. Now I need to call today again to see if they have the cash. Now here is something I dont understand when it was brought back the next day I was there for an hour while other customers were being helped the guy in front of me bought some stuff worth $900 so I know they had the cash that day but my refund is coming in a check. Hmmm

Just recently went to Car Toys for the first time. I have to get my interlock device calibrated and these guys are awesome for that! (And more Im sure) Not only was I able to stop by any time before closing for the service, but they were friendly and happy to do it for me. Well I got a car alarm . An it wasn’t hooked up to the doors only when soMe one try’s to start my car it goes off . So the whole purpose of the alarm was to stop theft as they open the car . But instead they can open my doors an take my stuff an the alarm will never sound . Very unhappy about it . Don’t feel safe still . An let down . Because this car toys . Theirs supposed to be number one . I expect that from Best Buy . Not them

My 350 dollar stereo ended up costing over 800 dollars after they hit me for this part and that part. Lol. But its a great stereo.

Above and beyond for service at this car toys. The service tech noilticed that an adhesive was coming loose on my car, and without any hesitation he just went ahead and fixed it, even though it didnt have anything to do with the install.

Great experience. I wanted to upgrade my headlights to LED lights, so they gave me all the information I needed and offered a professional install as well. Well the project ended up being more in-depth than they planned, they called with options and we got it done. Bottom line, the customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced. I will shop here again for my next upgrade or when I want my car detailed.

I went in yesterday to get a new radio installed and boy am I super satisfied. They assisted me with my decision the whole way. They called an installer in to give recommendations based on my car, which is old (2001 Toyota Echo). They gave details on whether the JVC or Kenwood radio would suit me best, and in the end, my radio works beyond what I expected. I highly recommend these guys for any radio or car detailing needs! They’re the best!!Thank you so much!

Honestly pretty bad customer service all together. Didn’t install the radio correctly, and had to not only get it fixed somewhere else, but had to replace the battery because it was incorrectly hooked up to my car. Didn’t take the stereo out of demo mode and the stereo doesn’t even really work. Installed a feature on my car that I already had, and tried to constantly gaslight me into thinking I knew less than they did when discussing the specs of my car. Overall terrible experience, and will not be returning.

Larry was knowledgeable and added a personal touch that wasnt marketed that completed the professional installation. Thank you for coming in on time and at a great price point! Will return for sure!

The interior detailing should make your car look like its been professionally detailed. Ive had other vehicles detailed at other shops and when theyre done, the vehicle is so clean that it looks brand new again. Our car came back dirty, even though we fell for all the up charges and left it there all day and overnight to dry.

Had a bad experience at the Puyallup location. All they seemed to be wanting to do is upsell me from what I needed. Called the Car Toys in Olympia. They were upset with the way they treated me. Asked me to bring it down to them and they would be able to put a better taste in my mouth. I brought it down and they listened to me and what I wanted. There was no pressure to upsell and I got what I needed. Same day! Not in the week that Puyallup was saying. I will be coming back to Olympia Car Toys. Not going anywhere else. Plus they did call to my attention that they do headlight restoration! Going back next week for that.

So I had a fantastic expierence at this location. I bought a sub and an amp. And all the fixns for it. Wendy the woman that helped me was amazing at the counter and under pressure. She was the only one at the counter and it was busy and was getting alot of calls. Yest she held her cool and was very friendly. Props to her for an amazing expieranced. Keep up the good work.

So I got a Alarm and it works but the remote doesnt always seem to work and the sound that is made stopped they didnt put my car back together properly nice I am having to smack it to keep it from falling off I was told my install was free but end up paying 250 dollars

I took my vehicle into Car Toys today for an interior detailing and I am more than satisfied with the experience. Not only is my interior like new again but the customer service was amazing. They took the time to over view my vehicle with me before the service. Recommended but did not push an additional service. And despite turning down an exterior wash, when I returned they had done it anyway... no charge. My only regret is that I didnt take before photos to show the work they did. Thank you, Car Toys!!

Over the last few months Car toys of Olympia has installed new JL Audio speakers in my 3000GT, installed JL Audio speakers in my Truck, Installed Apple Car play and front parking cameras in my Corvette. And today they direct wired my radar detector. There service has been Great. Over the years they have backed up any warranty problems with fast free repairs. I highly recommend them. 👍

After going in there and talking to one of the older guys working there I got everything figured out because he was able to explain it all a little more clearly and he got the crossover corrected. The only thing I had a problem with was the communication.

They lied to me and my wife 3 times. All of our buttons on the steering wheel, onstar and warning chimes worked when we brought the car in for the install, and now NONE of thwm work all of the sudden. We had to cancel our onstar because it not longer worked due to their install. This was a birthday present to my wife that we are paying over $1700 for. Then they told us to take it to a Chevrolet dealership to have them look at it. Really? I have to take off work to have someone else tell me what you did wrong then take more time off to tell you what they said? Maybe I should have hooked it up myself. At least I wouldve known where I screwed up and been able to fix it.

This one was a little different than my first experience with Car Toys detailing. I got the car back, was in a hurry, so only looked at the outside and the interior cabin when going over the vehicle with the Car Toys employee. Overall, the detail was pretty good. Great job on the exterior and interior passenger compartment! When I got into the front and back trunks, I noticed that they hadn’t been vacuumed. Not a big deal, but not what I expected from a professional detailing job. The other piece was the wheels. They had been cleaned, but not well. There was still a lot of brake dust between the spokes, particularly heavy near the valve stems.Overall, I’d give them around a 3.

Clean my vehicle like I pay for. I paid for a auto detail and my van came back still dirty. Milk all over my seat. My cup holder was still all nasty. Didnt clean under the store and go seating compartment. Inside windows were clean very well at all. It looks like some one just vacuumed the floor and called it good. For $250 I thought it would be clean. I have had details before and this is the worst one I have ever seen. Not happy at all.
