Original repair didnt fix the problem. When I went back, I wanted to verify the new diagnosis at the dealer and see if it was covered under warranty. Meinekes response (twice) was to say it was not covered. It was. The dealer did all the work for free. In response to my complaints I was told they were kind enough to waive the diagnostic fee. What kind of mechanic charges for that (let alone on re-diagnosing their own work!). I was also told they have a no refund policy. If you like feeling pressured and being told your business doesnt matter to them, this is the place for you.

Was a bit skeptical after seeing some bad reviews about 4 or 5 months ago, but decided to give this location a chance anyways. Sean was very professional, and told me he took over the location after those reviews and is looking to turn it around. The work(mostly brakes) performed has been great so far. Sean was also very upfront about costs, time, etc. I do trust that he cares about what he does, and I would recommend coming in to this location.

Had overheating radiator service done at out of town car repair 3 weeks ago and paid $800 (not a Meineke Repair Shop). Car was running fine until going on vacation up Hwy 18 last Saturday and car overheated again with same issues. Came to Meineke to have repair done. After person at counter (not sure if he was manager) looked at my paperwork from previous repair from other service done, suggested I contact them again since they may have misdiagnosed the issue or not completed the job. He said he could do the repair, but wouldnt feel right about doing it without me having first checked if the other place would make the corrections. I appreciated his honesty and will definitely come here for any future car repair.

I am so grateful that I found this place, after finding a huge leak in my car, I called everywhere I can find all morning, and wasnt able to get a next day appointment, untill I called Meineke. I was able to get my car in first thing in the morning the very next day, and my car returned to me the same day. They were super informative, honest, and professional, and made sure I was good to go. Now my car is running like a dream and I definitely notice the difference. I will now forever be a customer at Meineke and take my business here from now on.

Oil change/air filter change was as prompt and reasonably-priced as ever, but I wish anyone in the business had worn a mask. I was short on time this week and couldn’t just go somewhere else, but I would not use this business again while the mask mandate is in place.

Very tiny, anxiety provoking parking lot. The staff members were all very courteous, but grossly incompetent.Installation of the parts that I brought, new disc, new pads new drums and pads was a bit over $400. About $60.00 more than the dealership was charging.I thought my brake job would take 2 hours. It took the better part of 7 hrs.When I was finally presented my auto, after closing time, I stepped on the brake pedal and it almost went to the floor. After closing hours they took my auto back and fixed it. If that had happened to my wife I doubt that she would have noticed the squishy, inadequate brake pressure. I am only slightly confident in the brake installation and fearful they will fail when I need them.UPDATE: About 1,500 miles later the Toyota dealership performed the first service at 5,000 mi. They brought me a picture. Meineke had installed the passenger side rotor on the driver side and vice versa. I called the Meineke manager, Eddie and he said he did not know the rotors were directional.

Really competent mechanics at a fair rate. Ive used this place on several occasions and theyve never disappointed. My 02 Mazda Protégé has over 323,000 miles and runs well because of those guys. Since theyre really good at what they do, be prepared to leave your vehicle.

Bad service I ever got. I got an oil from them. He told me will call me when it’s done. I waited 3 hours and I didn’t get any call about my car. I decided to come to check.I was so disappointed after the service. I thought I can get inspection check on my car with the oil change, and I asked them to weld the tail of my muffler. I got my car back with nothing done. They didn’t even reset the car after change oil. They left the empty bottle of oil in my car. I expected I would get a better service in there. I am planning doing a lot of work with them, but I am good with my first time. I would never comeback here.

Door says open at 7:30 but they open at 8am. Also nothing said appointment only (maybe online), so I arrived expecting to get brakes done only to have to come back the next day for an appointment. Work was done timely and I was called multiple times for updates.

Got my brakes done and oil pan gasket had great service got lifetime warranty on my brakes which was wonderful but wait room is way to warm in the summer should put in AC

Have taken my cars for service and oil changes here for a few years now. Manager is always ready happy and willing to serve. Good value for everything they do. Will continue using them as my go to repair and service shop. Highly recommend.

I was told I could drop my vehicle off on a Wednesday. I however did not have a good experience with them communicating with me about what was going on. They didn’t even look at it until Friday. I was told it would be done no later than Monday. When I called Monday afternoon it still had not been touched. The man I spoke to said he’d get someone on it right away and they did get it done. Even though my warranty was up by a couple months they honored it and I was not charged. They also replaced my brake light bulbs for no charge. Overall I was not happy with the initial customer service but in the end they did what they needed to make it right.

Horrible service and unprofessional wanted to take advantage that I was from out of town and thought I had no where els to go. The manager Sean wanted to charge me $770 to change an accumulator pipe plus $150 for the diagnostic fee. I took it to the Chevrolet dealership and they will not only make sure it is certified but are only charging me $360 for what Sean wanted to charge me $410 more and in his words “pray it works if not your looking to spend about 5 grand”

My hybrid battery light came on in my car, and the guys at Meineke got me in immediately. They ran a free diagnostic test, found me a reasonably priced replacement battery, and had my car fixed in a day. They were kind and professional, and fixed the issue quickly!

I had an urgent maintenance repair needed on a Saturday morning and the employee who answered my call was professional and very nice. Willing to make the time to take a look regardless how bust weekends seem to be there. He only had my car for 1.5 hours. He was able to repair the issue and informed me of cost if I needed future replacement of the part. Overall, I had a really good experience and plan to use them for future oil changes.

Shady. Had two brake inspections before making an appointment there. No one else had said I needed new calipers. They claimed it was stuck and hit them with a hammer until they bent it and I was forced to buy new calipers at 120.00! They bent it, they should have comped me for the part! Who cares that they didnt charge me labor for installing the new ones. I refuse to believe there was ANYTHING wrong with my old ones. Also, my appointment was at 10. It was after 11 until the pulled it in. It was almost 3 before I left!

Brought my car in for basic maintenance. Was told I needed a valve cover done so let shop do that as well as an oil change. Got my car returned to me running worse. The techs broke my hood release handle amd broke my dip stick while also noting it down like they were broken to begin with, which they were not.Service took longer than expected. Car was returned at the very end of the business day. Drove car to my house where it promptly died and would not start again. Not at all happy with the quality of service and have no faith that this shop can or will actually fix my car and I am now out 1000$ and have a car that cant be driven.

Eddie is always friendly and courteous. He got us in without an appt and waited a few minutes after hours so we could pick it up as it was finished at the end of the day.

Do not recommend!!!! On a Thursday I scheduled a service for an oil change and transmission service on the following Monday. It was first thing in the morning, but when I showed up for my appointment I was told it was never booked. The appointment was then made for Thursday of the same week, but told I would get a discount due to the mix up.When I arrived on Thursday I was told that for the two services the price would be over $600. When I said absolutely not and I would get service elsewhere, there was an error found in that I was being double charged for transmission services. I had to ask repeatedly for an itemized receipt as the front desk clerk Morgan was telling me I had to sign a paper with just the price first stating I was allowing all services. The double charge would have been charged if I hadnt known that was an insane price. After getting a different quote, the services still were over $400. After finally getting the itemized receipt, the filters were majorly upcharged. Filters that can be bought for 17.99 and 19.99 were charged as $60 and $63. When asked about the discount on checkout, was told I never promised you a discount. I had to explain the situation and why I was told that by the same person checking me out. His response was oh, I didnt recognize you with the face mask on....the mask was on the first time as well. And why were there no appointment notations about this? I ended up getting a bit of a discount in the end, but that was a small saving grace in this experience. Ive gone to Meineke for this vehicle for years and the company just lost my loyalty.

Our daughters Honda Element had the catalytic converter stolen...apparently this is a thing. Thieves also tried to drill out the driver side door lock so that needed to be replaced. Very happy with their work.

I have used this location twice for oil changes. The first time was over a year ago and they were great. The next time they would not honor a deal from their own website. The third I found a Groupon and it is still valid. They allowed me to book an appointment and I let them know it was with a Groupon. When I showed up they let me know they will not honor it and they stopped selling them. They will allow me to use the value then pay 50 dollars for the oil change. I tried letting him know it is not expired and they should allow it. He said too bad its something they decided to not honor.This is the last time I will use this business. I will go back to doing my own oil changes or use some place closer to home.The second time I was here they said my brakes are bad and need to be changed. I went to my the people who replace my tires. They said the breaks are fine and have at least 25000 miles left on them. They also quoted less than meineke.Stay away as they will try and charge you more.

Back in May of this year, I had to get an alternator replaced in my car. I had this done at the Meineke in Lacey, on Lacey Blvd.Yesterday, after leaving my sons baseball game, my car was making a strange noise. This time, I took it to a competitors who did my breaks for me a month ago. The called and told me it was my alternator. I couldnt believe it!I tried calling the Lacey location, only to find out they have officially closed their doors. I didnt know what to do! Im a single mom, unemployed, and I certainly couldnt afford to shell out close to $500.00.Out of desperation, I called the next Meineke closest to my location, which was this on on 4th and Cherry. I spoke with a tech briefly about it and he then had me speak to the manager, Eddie.After explaining the situation, he told me to located my receipt and bring it on down and hed see how he could help me. Well, he helped me all right. Not only did he replace the alternator, he also charged me zero dollars for the labor! He basically was making nothing off this service, I couldnt believe it.Not only am I thankful for this, but I most thankful for the interaction with Eddie and the other employee that was in the office when I first came in. Very kind and I felt like Id been a friend forever.THANK YOU EDDIE! SERIOUSLY! THANK YOU!

I was towed here because the meineke across town had shut down with no warning leaving this location with a huge overflow of work to do in the middle of the Covid crisis. Due to these things and some normal hiring and firing situations my car was here for over a month. During this time Eddie made sure I was kept informed and consistently responded with a pleasant professional attitude. It made being a 1 car family for so long a little easier just knowing when I called to check on my car I wasnt going to be met with any grumpy voices.

These guys, especially Eddie, were fantastic! They have ALL my business and Im going to tell everyone I know about them. Eddie took the time to not only explain, but show me as well the issues with my brakes. Meineke worked WITH me on obtaining the financing necessary to get the repair work done. My car is worse off than it was before I took it to them. They charged me an insane amount and yet my car is still not driveable. Absolutely worst car mechanic, do not take your car to them. They will just rob you of your money and destroy your car.

I went to this car service shop for a routine brake job. I waited for my Jeep to be repaired, the brake job on my rear wheels took five hours. After finishing, the so-called tech drove my Jeep. Then I drove my Jeep. There was a clearly hearable tapping from the wheels I just had work done. I immediately drove my Jeep back to the Meineke service shop. The manager drove my Jeep and said to me I heard some thing, could you (meaning me) come back on Monday (this was Friday).When I came back, the so-called tech drove my Jeep and apparently heard the tapping because he replaced the drums. The manager told me that the so-called tech didnt know what else to do. Then I drove my Jeep home. I noticed the tapping sound was still there. The manager called me at the end of the day and asked me to bring my Jeep in to ascertain the problem. Note: the shop is 25 miles from me, a 50 miles round trip. I did bring my Jeep back which was on a Monday.When I arrived, I was asked to sit in a chair. Then the manager told me that the so-called tech just called since he was ill would not be in on Monday. I just drove 25 miles to hear that it would not be possible to look at my Jeep that day. No, I am sorry about this, no, we will give you a free oil change or any compensation for my time and money spent driving my Jeep back there many times.DO NOT go this Meineke car service shop in Olympia WA. After spending $467.00, I have to take my Jeep into another shop to get the brakes repaired. I was told the second time that the so-called tech didnt know to repair the tapping sound from the brake job he just did. GO TO another car service shop, not this shop. By their admission, they dont know repair brakes.Note: After I posted my displeasure with Meineke Car Service in Olympia WA, I got a call from Crystal who said she was calling from Meineke Corporation Office in North Carolina. She acknowledged that I had the option to back the Meineke shop in Olympia. I said that would the fifth time. She wouldnt compensate me for travel (to go to Meineke shop in Olympia it is a 50 miles round trip). Whether I went back was up to me. A fifth time would be 200 miles roundtrip. At the IRS rate for mileage that be around $70.00 to fix their mistake. IF YOU NEED BRAKE WORK GO TO ANOTHER CAR SHOP.There is more to this story. I took my Jeep to the Meineke Car Shop in Puyallup WA for warranty work (see the above story). The mechanic looked my brakes and said he would have to put in new shoes because brake job at Meineke Olympia was done wrong. According to the mechanic, the shoes were not adjusted properly and had cause to slap around and take out the wheel cylinders on both sides...(and) left rear wheel is missing wheel stud that was never notated on the original visit to Olympia Meineke. It cost me $427.97 for the first brake job. With the travel to fix was not done properly, I am out at $ 50, and my time which is about 16 hours. I am really glad to have new brakes, properly done. But, it should not take fives. The brake job should have been properly the first time.

I had helpful service, meaning that I was dealing with the issue of a dead battery and he found me the least expensive option for getting one in. There were three ways to go and he didnt try to hard sell me on the more expensive ones. He gave me an accurate assessment of the time Id need to wait to get the battery cross town and delivered. I liked my experience.

My truck was showing signs of over heating and smell of coolant. The heater was barely producing warm air. I called Olympia location downtown and asked if I could make an appointment. They said they had time at about noon to check it out. This was in a Saturday when most shops aren’t even open. I drove down. They diagnosed a leaking water pump. I asked if I could make an appointment and have them do the repair. They said they would fix It that day and have it out the door running by 6pm closing time. They replaced the water pump and I was on my way same day. I’m sure it was partly good timing on my part but to get it taken care of same day was amazing and the guys were super polite and efficient. Great crew, great repair, and overall great experience. I will go back for all my future mechanical needs. Thanks guys!

The team at Olympia Meineke is hands down the best!! Brought my Honda in today for an over heating issue and some brake work. Not only did they discount my services everywhere possible to save me as much as possible, they fixed the issue quickly and within my quoted price, less actually!! To top it off, they even helped me install my new wheels/tires, which also came with their obstacles of course, everything i do has to have some sort of bumps in the road! ;) but they didn’t even skip a beat and were happy to help, at no charge! I most definitely will only be coming to Olympia Meineke for all of my cars needs from now on!

I got the best service from the team at the car care center yesterday for an exhaust issue with our Honda Accord. The service was fast and accurate.They were all super friendly and helpful. Not only that but they helped me get a much better deal than if I had gone to the dealer. They provided an accurate estimate. I was in and out in about 2 hours or even less. We will definitely be taking our car back for the other services they provide. They are conveniently located. Overall just an amazing customer service experience!

They quoted me for an hour to fix a broken weld on an exhaust bracket.Custom exhaust done elsewhere.Instead they installed a new bracket, fixed some other minor issues and only charged me for 1/2 hour labor.

They are located close to my home so I tried them out. My fluids were not topped off and my tires were not at optimal pressure after I picked up my vehicle, which worries me that the tires were not rotated. I requested tire rotation. I believe most shops air up the tires after that service. Many shops air up the tires as part of their routine anyway.After having to top off my own coolant and window wash after an oil change, and needing to locate air for my tires, Im not sure about returning to this shop. Im undecided.

We got an oil change and tire rotation. They were super informative about our vehicles condition and did a great job changing the oil. Staff was friendly. Poor guys... Only ones working due to the pandemic. They were super busy. Their time estimate for how long everything would take was pretty on point too.

Not a good experience. I called 4 days ago after I saw a Groupon for $49 full synthetic oil change. I called and the guy on the phone said i didnt need to buy the Groupon as they would match the price. I showed up for my appointment and they had no record of my appointment but they could do it anyway. I told him about the Groupon match and he said they couldnt do that and I needed to buy the Groupon. So I started to buy the Groupon then he told me it would be over $30 additional to the Groupon because it had a cartridge oil filter. At this point I told him to forget it and I left. Ive had my car for 2 years and had 3 full synthetic oil changes, the last one at the Meineke in lacey and non of them cost me over $50. I looked up the difference in price between oil filters and there wasnt any. I could buy the filter retail for under $7. 😖

These people treated my mother in law horribly. Eddie charged her for work that THEY DID NOT COMPLETE! Also, when she picked up the car the back seat was detached and the driver door was broken. They told us it would cost $300 MORE to fix the door (that they broke) and my Dad fixed it with a $20 hinge kit.

Had to bring my jeep in yesterday (a Saturday no less) because the back brakes were pretty much shot. I was able to make an appointment online on Friday evening for Saturday morning. There are not many shops open on Saturdays for brakes and such.Dustin, the manager, was very helpful. We ended up putting on new brakes (pads, rotors, pretty much everything brake related). My jeep has 127,000 miles on it so it was time. We had them do a few other things as long as they had it. My mechanic at home didnt catch the brakes which is concerning for me.Dustin and his crew did an excellent job on everything and pricing was fair and we didnt seem to be overcharged which is refreshing in todays world.I highly recommend visiting Meineke Car Care Center on 4th Avenue in downtown Olympia for your car care needs.

Wow!!!! I had no an excellent experience today at Meineke in down town Olympia! I took my coupon in and got my oil changed (includes oil filter) for $30 I usually pay $60 they also rotated my tires and did a small weld for me at no cost. Funds are tight so this was very appreciated by me. Brian at the counter was fantastic as well as the mechanics. I highly reccomend these guys!

They dont stock oil filters. We had an appointment for our car and they knew our year, make, and model and unfortunately were late to our appointment by 15 minutes as we we got out of work late. The man behind the desk led with, we cant get the filter because its 4:45, which he repeated to us twice. When we asked him to expand on this claim he told us that they schedule their last oil changes at 4:30 because they send a driver out to go get the filter and since we arrived 15 minutes late, there was no time left to get to the store and pick up our oil filter. If they had our appointment time, car year, make and model, then why hasnt this been picked up earlier in the day? What reputable mechanic doesnt have oil filters on hand? Why did nothing about this get mentioned when we scheduled the appointment? Being late is generally unacceptable, and we are happy to own that. But 15 minutes should not make-or-break an oil change, especially at what is supposed to be a reputable car maintenance company like Meineke. I would avoid using this place and find a mechanic with more flexibility, inventory, and customer service.

I went to the Meineke in Olympia on Fourth Ave E for an oil change. They called me during the oil change as I had left and got breakfast down the street. They told me my cabin air filter and another air filter were dirty and quoted me the price for each. They then quoted me a price to replace a headlight that was out. I said no thank you to all three. When I went to pick my car up they informed me of my price for the new headlight and two air filters. I had declined both on the phone so I was surprised and very annoyed that they had changed them. My boyfriend could have done them for more than half the price. The Meineke employee offered to take them back out for me. Like what????? It had already been an hour and half and I was running late so I said no and just paid them. I have never had that happen to me before, and I will not be returning to this Meineke. I couldn’t be more annoyed and unsatisfied. Poor customer service and clearly a lack of ability to listen.

I use Meineke to do oil changes for my company and they seem to be able to fit Us in when we need to get them done.

DON’T COME HERE! They don’t care about you or your car. After charging us to repair leaks, another shop has now confirmed that they did not repair the seal. Meineke charged us for work that they did not complete!

I meineke Car Care Center because they are so good of they. Took great my vehicle right away excellent care with no problems and they are the only ones I trust with my car may get a total five star and thank you very much Miss Diana Lynn baby Kroger have a wonderful day
