Working on European vehicles such as Volvo can be a challenge. A non-dealer mechanic that can diagnose and work on newer European vehicles is worth their weight in gold. I would highly recommend Brons Automotive to work on any vehicle. They have a great business ethic, they care about the customer, and know what they are doing. Anyone who says otherwise just doesnt know much about the challenges of an automotive service business. I will be taking my Volvo XC90 back to Brons.
I’ve brought my truck to Bron’s a couple of times and the service has always been amazing. Today was my second time. They treated me honestly and professionally. As long as I’m in the area, I will be bringing my vehicle to them.
This business is absolutely amazing! My fiancé takes his vehicle here for maintenance, and there customer service is always amazing, there prices are very affordable too. We had something wrong with his car, and these people went out of there way to call the dealership and see if the car was under a warranty, they spent over an hour on the phone on hold. It doesn’t get any better than that!
I was on a camping trip - about to leave for the next campground when my car screeched and blew smoke whenever I turned the ignition. The mechanics at Brons came to my rescue and figured out the problem for me (a rat had gotten under the belt). Service was quick, friendly, and I really felt they were looking out for me; they even pointed out a tire that needed patching and told me where to go to get it fixed for free. My only regret is that I dont live nearby and cant use them for my other auto needs.
Over the past few years I’ve been to many different mechanics with many different vehicles. Up until now I have never been to a shop that has such amazing customer service as bron’s. Not only is their customer service great, but they are a very truthful and honest shop as well. When the engine in my car seized instead of charging me the however many thousands it would be. They took time out of their day to contact the dealership and got me in contact the a service representative that will potentially replace the engine for free. Where else are you going to find a mechanic that’ll do that for you!
Good people. Worked with me. Overall good experience.
Since the air conditioning wasnt working, I thought it needed a recharge. Upon taking my vehicle there and them diagnosing it, the issue was a broken electrical control part. They called the manufactures local dealer only to find out the broken part is no longer available as my vehicle is 19 years old. The mechanic figured out how to repair the control module and made it working again. GREAT!! Not to mention all the staff was veryfriendly and very competent. I fully recommend Brons Automotive.
Front differential caught fire, and these folks were there to help. Great pricing, wonderful service and fantastic work. Highly recommended.
Awesome auto shop here, great folks at a fair price. You pay what you get for most of the time & at Brons Automotive you definitely get what you pay for here, I would recommended anyone! 👍👍
Very fast and friendly service with reasonable rates and knowledgeable staff. Im so happy that this shop happened to be the closest to me when my car window wouldnt roll up. They even offered to give me a ride home while they worked on my car - with their free shuttle service. Ill be back again! (But hopefully not too soon haha)
Fair prices, good customer service, quick service. 👍🏾
Seasonal shrimp tacos were great!
Serviced my car having to replace parts on a car that parts are hard to locate. Very professional.
Lenny and shawn are the best
Brons has worked on our vehicles for years. They always do a great job. We trust them to take care of our vehicles which in turn is taking care of us.
Steller customer service from the get go! Kim was excellent at keeping good, solid contact established through the process of purchasing parts and having the work done. The technician expertly explained exactly what was wrong with the vehicle and why he recommended the work that he did. They finished the work ahead of schedule, the price was right, and the car runs like a dream. We WILL be returning for all future vehicle needs.
Fantastic mechanic!!! I have to say Ive been to quite a few mechanics in my day and I can say this might be the best mechanic Ive ever been to.I went to Brons for an electrical problem with my old Pathfinder. They diagnosed the issue in one labor hour. As you might know thats incredibly fast for electrical work and by itself is a sign of an honest and proficient mechanic.Add the fantastic customer service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.. and you have the recipe for a phenomenal mechanic. I would give them more stars if I could. Highly recommended.
Brons shop is a great place to take your vehicle. The customer service is outstanding, and they deliver prompt satisfactory care. I highly recommend their shop above all others in the area. The owner takes pride in his shop, and pays attention to every detail in order to provide maximum customer satisfaction. Thanks again Bron! Ill be continuing my business with you for as long as youll have me!
5 star service all around. Joey and Kim took great care of me. Joey spent fifteen minutes on the phone with me explaining everything that was diagnosed and treated the truck like it was his own and was honest about everything that he would recommend doing and when. I will forever take my truck here and recommend Brons for everyone that asks me for a shop. Very pleased.
Brons is the best! Very knowledgeable with BMWs and way more affordable than BMW Northwest. They are very efficient & maticulous looking for every option available to help save money and time when unexpected repairs pop up. Joey is so kind and patient when explaining the work that needs to be done and Kim is a gem too helping to find financing options for the unexpected! They even came in $500 less than the original bid thanks to guys in the shop working together to save time & labor expenses! Thanks guys!!
I brought my Subaru in for a diagnostic because it was making a strange sound. Unfortunately, the transmission needed replacing. They were very upfront about all the costs and gave me a couple different good-quality used parts options, which I appreciated. The final cost was exactly what I was told prior to service and the receipt reflected the break-down. I really liked the shuttle to and from home. It made the whole process of drop-off and pick-up so much less stressful. I got my car back on the day they thought it would be done. I am very happy with the service I received.Brons Automotive is the only shop that I 100% trust to have my and my vehicles best interest at heart. The quality of their work is excellent, their customer service is phenomenal, and their integrity is outstanding. The staff is kind, courteous, and professional. I will definitely be a lifelong customer.
Excellent service! Even after deciding to do the work myself (after they diagnosed), the charges were reasonable, and they even sent a gift card for coffee as a thank you. Little things like that go a long way, Ill be back!
The service at Brons is very friendly and professional. They are always quick to get my Charger in and up to snuff. Brons is the only mechanic shop that has touched it since I drove it off the lot new in 2015. They diagnose the problem and fix it; they never guess and make needless expensive repairs that I didnt need. While Brons may cost a little more than your back yard mechanic shop, they are far less expensive than the dealership shops, and in the long run they save me money. They even drive me to my home and pick me up while my car is being serviced. As part of my job I put about a thousand road miles on my Charger every week driving foster children to appointments. My car HAS to be dependable, safe, and available. Brons keeps it in tip top condition. When I need tires, they tell me where I can get good ones at a fair price. When I couldnt get the baked rain-ex glare off of my windshield no matter WHAT I tried (Google it-- !😳🤣) they sent me to the best detail shop. I might be going on 67, but Brons keeps me stylin...Lol...they give me a free car wash voucher every time they service my car.Great people, great service, great professionalism, very knowledgable technical skills, and a fair price. And their office manager will treat you like royalty and family all rolled into one. Thanks Brons!
As yet, I have not had the work done, but in calling for estimates on a front end alignment plus tires, I found Joey to be very friendly, courteous, helpful and willing to go beyond what is expected to get an estimate, helpful in giving information that would insure good performance in all tires and relating facts that added to my knowledge of tire wear and the effects of having same vs different tire treads front and back. I am very impressed with this approach and service. On this basis Im giving them a five star for the inquiry part of the business, and based on other reviews, I am certain they will be the best in work ethics and performance as well. .
Hard to find a decent mechanic. Decent as in good person and skilled in trade. Folks here are both. In a hard spot and they were honest about my options and gave me time to sort out all the details. No pressure and they were even supportive. Best mechanics Ive dealt with. Will go back with all my vehicles.
I took my jeep liberty 2003 in after the steering started to go out. They diagnosed the problem as a hole in my power steering hose and that the steering rack needed replaced. The total cost amounted to $2100 which freaked me out but they notified me that the only urgent repairs needed was the replacement of the power steering hose which alone was $640. It was a tough pill to swallow and I thought about taking my car elsewhere but they broke down the cost into the man hours required, diagnostic fees and the price of parts and what brands they recommended for those parts. Being explained the reasoning made me feel much better and calmed me down a bit so I had the hose replaced and my jeep has been running very smoothly. This was all a few weeks ago. A couple days ago I received a card from Brons Automotive in the mail with a gift card to mud bay coffee as an expression of thanks for being their customer. I was really impressed by their efforts to express their gratitude and am glad I had my car repaired there. They also offered a great shuttle service. I would definitely come back to get the steering rack replaced when Ive got the money and time to do so. 5/5 stars!
My Van died the other day while in town. I made it as far as Lowes. I call Brons to help me out. Joey suggested that since I had AAA that I have them tow it to their shop and they would do their best to work it into their schedule. AAA showed up an hour later and dropped my car off at Brons. About an Hour later Joey called and said the Alternator was dead. I gave him to OK to fix the issue and they had it ready to go by the end of the day. The free shuttle picked me up and took me to their shop to pick my van and I was home before 5:00!! I used my Van to go to Tacoma the next day without any issues. GREAT service, I would recommend them to anyone needing car service.
Great shop, great people, and incredibly honest and FAIR!! Had I known there were still trustworthy repair shops around, I wouldnt have bought so many tools!!!
Best mechanics in the Pacific Northwest.
I have been a client of Brons for the past three years and I am more than satisfied with their service. Honestly, from the moment I walk in, I feel they are taking care of me. Lets face it, I am not a motor head so I need good advice that I can trust.
Great service, with a family owned business. At least the place is run like a family I was only there once so I am not sure who owning what. But the service was great, and the people are very nice. They shuttled me back and forth to school and my house. The prices were much better than down the street at the dealership. honest service from honest people. I believe in small business and the communities I live in. This might not be my place to settle down but this place should be a fixture in your thoughts for automotive repair.
Brons Automotive runs a clean and efficient shop. They do excellent work and always deliver on time and to expectations.
My girlfriend and I are lucky that we live so close to a place that we can now trust with our cars. They took excellent care of both of us today and we couldnt be happier with the service. The service manager was very informative and explained clearly what my car needed and showed me which were a priority and which could be put off for a little while. Kim accidentally quoted my girlfriend a cheaper price for her oil change and honored that cheaper price. Kim, is a rockstar, by the way. She made us feel really comfortable, she was sweet and constantly had us laughing. This is a great auto shop with even better people. It is a little pricey here, but you pay for what you get and the service warranty is really nice as it provides us with peace of mind. Cant wait to go back and get the rest of my car taken care of.
We recently took our Isuzu Trooper to Brons and they gave a two part estimate. One was to fix the problem and the other was preventive care. We opted for both. The next day the vehicle ran fine but the check engine light came back on. I was less than appreciative with them yet they still replaced the O2 sensor free of charge. I am offering this review as both an endorsement and message to them appreciating their positive assistance with a customer just having a bad day. Good people!
Wife and I have been taking our cars here since we moved to Olympia in 2014. Weve had a problematic Mini Cooper that was always able to get diagnosed and fixed properly and with care. They explain things thoroughly and have never once felt like were being overcharged for anything. They make us feel welcome and well taken care of, at this point theyre the only mechanic we have trusted. The rare times we ended up going to different mechanics for different things, the experience was always a bad one. Will support Brons for as long as we live here.
Great customer service, speedy and timely rides when Ive needed one, and most importantly (for me), they honored their parts and labor warranty on a brake job when a caliper froze after 2k miles. Would highly recommend.
I took my Buick to Brons to have the alternator replaced. They wanted to charge me $500 for the part which I got at AutoZone for $130 and charged me $70 for a diagnostic which would have been free elsewhere. Although they appear to be nice and knowledgeable, the overcharging overshadows any other merit.
Well, I took my 2002 Honda Civic in for a diagnostic and still have absolutely no idea what is wrong with the car because they werent patient enough to explain to me what needing a new head meant. I guess this is probably a head gasket or a cylinder head, but they didnt want to take a few minutes to enlighten me. I found elsewhere that a new head runs at about $500. They were very vague about what went wrong, and told me repairs would run to about $3,000. They charged me about $160 just for the diagnostic, which I know wasnt extensive because they couldnt get the car to run. All I know now is that theres something wrong with my engine and itll supposedly cost me $3,000 if I take it back to Brons for repairs.I was even in the office waiting for a tow truck for about forty-five minutes and the entire time the man at the desk was just looking busy on the computer and only acknowledged my presence to ask me if the tow truck was still coming to get me and my car. He was also short with me on the phone.A few months later I received a call from Bron, the owner of Brons, apologizing for the other mans lack of attention and asking me to call if I have any further questions. He also wrote me an e-mail with an explanation of what happened to my car exactly and why there was some confusion over what needed to be done (head repaired or head replaced). He also apologized and invited me to consider them for service in the future.
We loved our experience at Brons! We finally had a car we wanted to take good care of, not a junker and needed a good mechanic. Brons was very informative, helpful and upfront about costs and what needed to be done. Great shop, great experince!
We recently discovered Brons and they are amazing. Courteous, efficient and honest. They did a fabulous job, the price was right and they even delivered me home and picked me back up again when the car was finished. Thank you Brons!
Absolutely professional, friendly, inviting and nice place. I regiment it to anyone and everyone if you wish to get great service. Kim the front office lady is on top of things, friendly and a rather delight to be around.
Most honest, thorough, reasonably priced & great service all around. Will always go to Brons.
Our 2002 Winnebago VW Rialta needed work, and they got us in right away. The shop has a lift that could handle our camper, and Shawn is an expert in German vehicles. He diagnosed and fixed a troublesome fuel emissions system issue, as well as a troublesome AC problem. Highly recommend, and will definitely return to this shop for routine maintenance and any other issues.
Always great service
I want to thank Brons Automotive for their excellent care of my vehicle. They are very professional and careful in their approach to each customer. I was pleased with their service and will return to them with any needs in the future.
Brons was very helpful when they found problems and how long it would last, or if I should get it replace now. Fair price and estimate. Got vehicle back and UNDER estimate. Thanks guys.Would recommend vacuuming out the drivers floor and mat and washing the windshield.
We moved to Olympia in May 2015 when I started having some problems with my 2001 Honda Odyssey. It had just driven 1500 from AZ to WA and did really well with no problems at all. Then one day, I was running errands when it sounded like my car was going to die on me. I had 2 kids in the back and was afraid we werent going to make it home. But we did. I took it to Brons on a referral from my sister-in-law and found that a spark plug was misfiring and it needed to be replaced. But in talking to Joey, he said that the spark plugs looked like the originals and it might not be long before another one does the same thing. So I can replace the one and see how long I go before the next one needs replacing, or I can replace them all along with the coils. I decided to replace everything because I need my car for running my errands and for work. I dont want the kids and I to be stranded on the side of the road someday. It was a pricey repair but worth it. Brons did a great job and the car ran for a few months before I needed to take it in for other issues. I am so glad my sister-in-law recommended them. Kim, in the front office, is so nice and Joey tells you how it is and what he recommends, even if it means they lose out on money. Unfortunately, my car is about to be laid to rest as the current repairs is needs are way more expensive than what the car is worth at 238,000 miles. But with any future cars I have, I will always go to Brons. Great company with great people. And its not often that you come across a group of people like this. I really appreciate everything they have done for us.
Over Labor Day my car started being funky on the way home to Oregon so I dropped it off at Brons with the overnight dropbox. A friend then came and picked me up and I worked with Brons remotely in the rest of my interaction with them. By 10:00 Tuesday morning Joey called to let me know it was a rear differential and that the cost would be significantly more than the brake system I had anticipated. Joey explained everything to me and gave me several options. After thinking about it, I decided to wreck the car instead of having it fixed as the cost was more than I could really stomach for the car. I paid the $69.32 for diagnostic over the phone with Kim and made plans on how to go forward. Everyone was really nice and understanding and went above and beyond to help me out. If I lived in Olympia I would come here for all my auto needs. Seriously, thank you guys for making the stressful experience of dealing with my car from a couple hours away.
Brought back my Tacoma 96s engines computer from the dead. I wish I had consulted BRONs first, before buying a DIY computer and am gratified to now be able to see what speed I am going and the Cruise Control, both of which had failed. The problem impacted my field work with the shortest drives being +400 miles. Under estimate and an early resolution. Thanks!
Good place
Excellent service
Good work and customer service
A few years ago, the folks at Brons Automotive really helped me out with the heater in my Jeep Liberty. It stopped working while my wife and I were on a road trip from Los Angeles, CA. It was winter. December 28th or 29th. Freezing temps from the time we reached Eugene, Oregon, and now we were in Olympia, WA. We rolled up about 4pm. They close at 5pm. We explained we were on a road trip and it was too cold to continue without a heater. They took a look and said, Well try get you on the road by 3pm the next day. Well, we were on the road by noon the next day. Thank you Brons Automotive. I am forever grateful.
Nice
I was very pleased that the Service manager started with the simplest repair for a broken fuel door lever -- least labor intensive thus lowest price. And in fact this was all that was necessary, so the estimate proved to be correct. Thank you very much!
Efficient. Caring. Fairly price. Kim had good suggestions for me. Thanks!
I enjoy working with the courteous, knowledgeable, and competent group of people at Brons. I trust them and have never been disappointed.
My radiator blew on I-405. I had it towed to Brons because I needed it fixed right the first time. Thanks, folks.
Paid them 15+ grand to over haul my vehicle. When things started going wrong with the vehicle I brought it back to them for warranty work. They refused to look at it per warranty and wanted to charge me 180 dollars for a basic diagnostic. They also argued that it was probably my fault for issues inside of the work that they were supposed to do. The bias and frustration ive had and a vehicle falling apart... dont trust them.
Brons Automotive has service by cars for more than 5 years. They always do a great job, with top-quality parts, expertise and customer service thats second to none.
Brons are the good homies. They absolutely send it, and give you a ride to work if you need
Quick, friendly, and efficient service. Will definitely return.

Best people in the business!
Polite, professional service.
Great service
I trust this shop
I have been a customer of Brons for many years. I bought a Subaru STI in 2007 and Brons has taken great care of it. I just had the clutch replaced after it hit 100k in mileage and it runs great.
